CHAPTER 35
Wrong Turn
The snow fell continuosly as the sun begin to hide. Everyone became in rush to go home immediatelly, its Christmas and its mean that family will need to stay together.
Lucy is staring outside her window counting the beautiful snowflakes that settled in her balcony. The clock ticks so slow, she can able to hear the every second that felt like hours in her ears. In a season like this she only wish for her family to be complete again, but even how many wish she made that will never be granted.
Fullbuster residence...
"Gray!where is the cheese?" Ultear shout.
"Here." Gray immediately gave the cheese to Ultear. For this day the siblings called it a siezefire.
Everyone of them decorate their house in elegant christmas decorations and they prepare delicious food expecting for some visitor.
Did you call them Zeref?" Ui asked her husband.
"Yeah they said they will come before 9."
Every year, the family celebrate the Christmas with the Homeless child Charity. It became tradition to them as a restaurant owner Zeref find it a lucky charm to help other s and feed them with their foods.
The clock ticks again, its already 7 in the evening.
Ding... dong...
"Wait, maybe its the charity. They arrived early." Zeref said and rush to the door.
After a while Zeref back inside.
"Gray its for you."
Gray immediatelly run towards the door hoping for his princess. Unluckily its the other way around.
"Juvia?"
Juvia smile and asked Gray for some talk before she went home. They walked towards the park. The street lights begin to light, no ones around the park that night. They sit in the swing and talk for everything thatcomes out of their mouths.
"Oh! Its getting late, we have visitor around 8. Its sad but i need to go home." Gray said while looking at his watch.
Juvia saw his gesture and she saw the bracelet that she gave. She held hishand and face him.
"It suits you well" For that they both smiled.
Gray went home around 8, the charity isnt there of coarse they will arrive at 9. He needed to tell a lie to be able to went home early, he knew Juvia already.
"How's the date?" Ultear tease.
Gray shrugged his shoulder and answer with a "Its not a date i wanted."
"The dating party isdifferent i bet." For that Ultear laugh.
Heartfilia's mansion...
Lucy flop her head to her pillow and allow her tears to soak it. She rewind the scene she saw a while ago. She saw Gray and Juvia on the day she wanted to celebrate with him.
She saw them in a different angle, in an angle that made them sweet together. She can clearly see the sweet smile in Gray's lips when Juvia face him.
'I don't want to recall it again' Lucy thought.
Ring... Ring... Ring...
With the uneasiness Gray had felt after the so called date with Juvia he immediately called his princess. 1Call, another one, and again. But no one answer.
Ring... Ring... Ring...
Lucy got up from her bed and grabbed her phone. She knew it, Its Gray the one who repeatedly call her. Her blood begins to boil and unconcoiuslly she throw the phone in her room wall, with the infact for sure it will break in pieces.
toot... toot...toot...
Gray looked at his phone with a puzzled mind. 'She hung it up' He call her again but this time the answering machine took his call. With a feeling of something might happen Gray grabbed his motor key.
"Mom, Dad i will invite Lucy." he said and vanished right after that.
"Don't worry Ul. He's in love thats why" Zeref said after he saw the worryng face of his wife.
Gray drive in his motor with a high speed until he reach the mansion.
Ding...dong...
The mansion is like its usual design no Chrismas lights or lanterns.
After a while a maid came.
"May i talk to Lucy." The maid let him in as Ebi said his friend with Lucy.
The maid back to him and said that Lucy is not feeling well.
"I need to check if shes fine."
" I'M sorry but she said she can't be disturb."
"I really need to see her, please say to her that i'm Gray fullbuster."
"Im sorry but she strictly said that whoever it is the answer is same."
With some anger Gray run to the second floor and search for Lucy. After he reach the second floor he stop and said to his mind. 'Oh!Too many room, Where is Lucys's room."
"Tell me where she is?"
"Please go home already o they will fire me."
click...
A smooth sound of open door can be heard. It's Lucy.
" What do you want?" She huskily said, with no emotions already except for anger and jealousy.
