Haven't watched current wrestling in about a month or so. But I did read that Taker's coming back Monday. I'll definitely be watching. & Getting the WWE Network. I'm kinda wishing the show wasn't live so I could fast forward most of it, especially the HHH, Randy, Batista, and now the inevitable return of Hogan, parts, but whatever.
Thanks Tanya for the wedding colors! I really didn't have an idea for it & those colors are absolutely perfect for them, I love it!
The next chapter will be the wedding, peeps! I'm so not giving anything away on that, so yeah. Ha ha.
Hope you all enjoy this chapter, I enjoyed it myself.
RIP Nelson Frazier Jr. aka Viscera/Big Daddy V/King Mabel. You always entertained me, I was definitely a fan :)
Enjoy! :)

Ch. 37: This Won't Hurt, I Swear
A month can go by really fast if you're busy.
And that's exactly what me and my family have been for the past three weeks. We've been going all over the country like fools. Me and Shea's storyline has been going great. He's about two months from being put in the main event. Complete with the WWE Championship and all.
The Brothers are currently feuding for the World Tag titles. Chris is in a feud with Jay for the Intercontinental title. And lastly, Rae's been bashing people in the head with trashcans and whatnot in his buildup for a Hardcore title match.
I guess you can say that we're also royalty in our chosen profession.
I've also been slowly trying to let my emotions come back. Taker says that I have to do it slowly, because if I just bring them all back at once, it could be detrimental to my health and the health of those around me, what with the emotions having a lot of influence on my power control.
I have to say that I've been doing a good job at it.
Oh, how could I forget about Taylor. She's been doing the majority of the wedding planning since work has completely taken over our free time. But, seeing as though today's Monday, and the wedding's Saturday, we've all had to buckle down and pitch in.
We're sitting in catering now, having a mini argument about me and Take's decision to have as less people as possible at the ceremony. Chris and Tay are all in favor of the more supernatural guests, the merrier. Shea and Rae are on the fence, and Kane couldn't care less about the whole situation.
"But when you do take the throne, you're gonna have to deal with them and their problems anyway. Might as well get to know a few of them now." Chris grinned. I rolled my eyes. "Yeah. And we're supposed to trust all of these random weirdo's with supernatural ability just being all around us."
"Come on, I highly doubt that anyone has a grudge against you guys. Well, with the exception of the usual suspects." He continued. "Okay. Say Sunny possesses a random supernatural during the ceremony. Totally ruins the vibe." I sighed.
"First off, we've made plenty of charms warding off any spying Sunny could've been doing. She doesn't know anything about Saturday." Taylor added her two cents with a smile. "So, my wedding's supposed to be shared with you guys and a bunch of random people I've never seen before? It's bad enough that I can't invite my friends, T."
"What do you think, dead guy?" Taylor asked, turning her attention from me and focusing on Taker. He stopped his arduous task of scowling at everyone in the area to look at her. "I'd rather not have to kill people on my wedding day, kid. Just us and Bearer. End of discussion." He said that nonchalantly, but the tone in his voice let all of us know that the conversation was over.
"Ugh. Party poopers. Fine. On to the dinner." Taylor brushed him off with a frown as she began another annoying topic. Chris and Shea eagerly joined in with random and very weird suggestions. Take and Kane must have had some kind of mind chat, because within a few minutes of the wedding brigade's food talk, they stood up simultaneously. I raised a brow as I watched them eye the passing by Adam and Torrie.
Those two haven't dared say anything to us since our last confrontation, and for that, I'm grateful. But when they passed, I got a weird vibe from them. I'm guessing Take and Kane noticed, too. "Be right back, babe." He murmured to me right before he and his brother stealthily followed behind Adam and Torrie.
If that wasn't enough cause for alarm, I started to get little weird panicky vibes from Rae at the same time. I looked over at him and caught his eyes. "What's wrong with you?" I asked him, feeling his panic intensify by the second. "I'm good. I'm good. I'm gonna go take a smoke. Be back." He shot up, taking his eyes away from my probing stare. I eyed him suspiciously as he practically ran out of one of the exit doors.
I didn't have a chance to investigate Rae's weird behavior on account of Jay running up to our table. Exasperation clear in his facial expression. "Sades, are you busy?" He asked, sounding frantic. Chris, Shea, and a disguised Taylor had stopped their food bickering and were all on guard. Eying Jay like he was their prey.
"You're actually talking to me, Reese?" I couldn't help but to chuckle in his face. "I know, I've been a dick. I deserve that. But this is serious, Sayde." I could feel his nervousness swirling around along with his ever increasing fearfulness. It wasn't directed toward me, or my crew, though.
"What's going on, Reese?" I asked him gently, placing one of my hands over his trembling one resting on the table. He took a deep breath before he spoke. "Wait, fella. Might not wanna say that aloud. I'm getting vibes from them. Something's definitely not right." Shea chimed in, ceasing Jay's speech. Knowing that he had already snooped into Jay's head, I gave him a look.
"Apparently, Sunny's here. She wanted he and Adam to distract us so she could get to Rae. He refused cause he wants off of the 'Sayde is evil' bandwagon and she told him that Adam's gonna have to pay the price for his insolence." Shea explained to all of us through mind phone.
Taker and Kane were already making their way over to us when Shea had said the words 'Sunny's here'. By the time he was finished with Jay's full explanation, all of us, including Jericho and Jay were running toward the door that Rae had left out of.
I frantically pulled the door open, prepared to fight with my fists or my flames, when I damn near ran into a startled Rae. "Are you okay? Did she do anything to you?" I asked him, grabbing his hand, glad to feel the familiar shock of electricity I normally feel when I touch hands with one of my family members.
"I'm fine. What's going on?" He asked, completely confused about the whole situation. He turned his head and watched as Taker, Kane and Shea walked past him to search the parking lot. "Sunny. She's here and apparently looking for you." I explained.
"I didn't see her. I would've been screaming bloody murder if I did." He gave me a grin. I pulled him into a tight hug, the sudden emotion of relief flowing through me. The others had scoped the parking lot and were back at the door when I let him go.
"She was here. But she's long gone now." Taker said to us as he stood protectively behind me. "I'll be so glad when we end this bitch." I mumbled to him, making him chuckle softly.
Making sure that Rae was in our sights, we all headed back inside, Jay leading us all back to the table we were occupying. Once we were seated again, Jay standing at the front of the table, we all eyed him. "Can you help him?" He asked softly.
I sighed and looked at Take, making sure he sensed my sympathy for my former friend. He shook his head at me and gave me a look. "You know the answer to that, Sadie." He said to me. I nodded and looked at Jay's pleading face.
"Jay. There's nothing I can do. He's willingly under her trance. If she was doing this against his will, he would've been out of it months ago. I'm sorry." He started to tear up, face completely crestfallen. "I understand." He nodded.
"You might want to head back over to your people before her lackeys realize you're talking to us evil people." Taker warned him, eying Adam and Torrie, whose backs were turned to us.
"Good idea. And Sayde, I know you guys aren't the evil ones. Deep down, I think Adam knows, too. He's just too blinded by jealousy to see what's in front of him." He gave me a watery smile before he jogged off toward the men's locker room.
"That was weird." Chris said, breaking our awkward silence. "Very." I sighed, resting my head on my arms that were folded on the table.
"I know how we can get over the weirdness. Red velvet or butter cream?" Taylor said, perky as ever. "Ooh, red velvet. Definitely. It suits them, dontcha think?" Chris joined.
I lifted my head and opened one of my eyes to look at Shea. He shrugged at me and added his own ideas into the mix. "You okay?" Taker asked me, wrapping his warm arm around my bare waist, pulling me, and the chair I was in, closer to him.
"I actually feel sad. It's a strange sensation. But I welcome it. I'll be alright."
Today is Friday, November 26th. My wedding day is tomorrow. It doesn't even sound right in my head. Me, Sayde Hawkins, getting married tomorrow.
We did the court thing two days ago, getting the legal shit out of the way. So technically, I'm already a married woman. But it doesn't feel like it. It's just our signatures on paper. Stephen Farley and Glenn Jacobs serving as witnesses with their signatures on the paper, too. It won't be real for me until tomorrow evening.
When I take his name and my throne.
Right now, Taylor's getting the finishing touches done on my dress. It's a beautifully made body hugging strapless silver mermaid dress with a sweetheart court train. Over the silver was beautifully embroidered black lace. Lace, of course, was my only desire.
"Stop squirming." She said to me as she flitted around me like a little bee. She was taking in the dress a little. Due to the stress of this last month, I dropped a few pounds. I'm still curvy as ever, so that's a plus.
"I gotta pee." I whined, switching my weight from my left leg to the right. "I told your ass to go before we started. Too bad." She chuckled through the black thread in her mouth. "I hate you." I mumbled.
"OUCH!" She had poked me with a needle. I glared down at her. "Thought you said it wouldn't hurt?" I raised a brow at her smiling face. "Rule number one, little sis. Never piss off the seamstress." She retorted, going back to her work.
"Are you actually gonna wear makeup tomorrow?" She asked after a few minutes of silence. "I guess so. I mean, it is kinda like a special occasion, right?" I could see the wide grin on her face through the mirror I was looking through. "Totally. Oh, tomorrow's gonna be so great." She squealed, right before my bedroom door opened.
Barging inside was the entire brood, sans my hubby-to-be. I couldn't stop the big grin that appeared on my face when I took them in. Rae and Shea were wearing matching silver tuxes with silver vests, white shirts, and a dark purple tie. Taylor and Chris decided our colors should be silver, black, and purple. I like it.
Glenny had the same style tux, only it was black and the vest was also purple. And of course, Mr. Flashy himself, Chris, had on the tightest, most shiniest silver metallic tux I've ever seen. He also had on a white shirt and purple tie. It's comical, but it's so him.
"Oh, wow." I murmured as they all crowded around me to take a look at my dress. "I take your 'oh wow', and raise you a 'damn you look hot'". Chris grinned up at me. I was standing on a stool, making him seem even shorter than usual.
"Rae, you actually look clean. What the hell?" I turned my head over to where he had stood all the way on the other side of the room. He cut me a grin, but it seemed hollow. He's been a little weird all week. He also has his mind and emotions on block, so I can't even guess as to what's ailing him.
"It took a hell of a lot of work to do that, so you're welcome." Chris said, giving Rae a quick frown before going back to gawking at me.
"Hey bro, you're all distinguished and shit. I like it." I grinned at Kane's slightly frowning face. He gave me a quick once over and then his little smirk appeared. "You look…human." That made me smile, cause that's about as close to a compliment that I'd get from him.
"Shea, you look like a Brit instead of an Irishman." He gave me a grin at that. "I'd normally take that as an insult, but I get what you meant by it. You don't look half bad yourself." He gave me a wink, then turned his attention to the little fluttering bee, Taylor.
"Hey, where's your dress?" He asked, voice wavering a little. "Oh, I didn't get a chance to try it on. I know it'll fit, though. Gotta finish this first." She answered, sparing him a little glance before she flitted around behind me to fiddle with my dress some more.
"Oh no you don't. Gimme that thread and go try that dress on. I'll finish with Sadie." Chris charged over to Taylor's side, practically snatching the needle and thread from her hands. He then proceeded to shoo her out of mine and Taker's room.
"Be quick about it. Go." He said it with a grin, but we knew he was dead serious. Chris was taking this wedding business very, very, seriously. She gave him a tight smile, baring all her teeth before she closed the bedroom door behind her. The 'showing all her teeth' thing has become her silent vampire threat.
"So, where's tall, dark, and broody? Why isn't he being tortured with the dress up?" I asked no one in particular. "He's in my room getting dressed. He was running late getting your wedding present." Jericho explained, now flittering around me in the same way Taylor was. What the hell are they doing?
Seeing as though I'm slowly letting my emotions back into the forefront, I started to feel a little panicky at that. "Wait. He got me a wedding gift? Why didn't anyone tell me I had to get him a wedding gift?" I looked down at Chris, the jerky movement of mine causing him to prick himself in the finger. "Shit!" He yelled, bringing his finger to his mouth.
"Sorry." I murmured. He raised a brow at me. "I've gotten so used to the emotionless Sayde. It's a little weird to hear you apologize for something." He grinned at me. I rolled my eyes. "The emotions are not fully back, Irvine. You'd be smart to stay on my good side." I teased with a wink. His grin faded.
Shea, Kane, and I burst into a fit of laughter. "Kidding. Kinda." As a sign of my actually having feelings to care about his feelings, I grabbed his needle-poked finger and rubbed my index finger over said poked spot, instantly healing it. I picked up on the healing ability last month during my daily training sessions with Take and Kane.
"Thanks." Chris smiled, before getting back to his bumblebee imitation around me.
About five minutes later, Taylor sauntered through the door with a huge smile. "It fits." She grinned at me.
"Damn, girl. Gimme a twirl." I said to her, rotating my index finger to indicate twirling. She laughed and did as I asked, causing the flowing purple satin halter dress to ripple around her legs. The dress was low cut and the straps were embroidered with silver rhinestones. The little area right under her bust was also embroidered all the way around with the silver rhinestones. To put it simply, my sister was gorgeous.
"If I weren't married already, miss Hawkins…" Chris complimented her from behind me. "What about you, Rae? Whatcha think?" Taylor asked, finally stopping her twirl to look at the broody man in the corner.
"Boobs. That's all I see on both of you." He gave her a sly smirk, making Taylor roll her eyes and focus them on another broody man, Kane.
"You look like a vampire in a dress. That's all you're gonna get from me." He still had that smirk of his, so she knew he was saying it in good nature. "And lastly, what do you think, Stephen?" She asked him, placing her hand on her hip and giving him a sweet smile.
He nervously chuckled and looked away from her. "Uh, I, uh. I think you look exquisite." He nervously looked at her again, a deep flush in his cheeks now. His nervousness was palpable and I couldn't hide the 'awww' from escaping my lips. "You and your sister both." He added, taking his green eyes off of Taylor to look at me.
Before anyone could respond, the door opened and in walked my man, in all his delicious glory. "Why the hell are all of you people in my room?" He asked, eying the two broody guys and then Shea and Taylor.
"We're making sure everyone's attires are ready. And you're not supposed to be in here, you know. Bride and groom aren't supposed to see each other the day before the wedding." Chris chimed in from behind me, forcing Taker's attentions over to where we were standing.
His mouth dropped when his eyes landed on me. It was like I could feel those things actually caressing my skin as he gave me a thorough once over. I was doing the same to him, though.
He was wearing a black tux. Complete with black vest and shirt. His tie was purple. His hair was pulled back into a loose ponytail. He looked like he walked out of one of my weird, but definitely more tamer, fantasies. "Daaaaaaaamn." I lowly whispered.
"My thoughts exactly." He chuckled, finally closing his mouth. We stayed staring at each other for a long while. My mind, even with the happier of my emotions slightly present, went straight to erotic fantasies about how to get him to do things to me with that suit on.
"Okay. Seeing as though tradition has been thoroughly broken, you can leave now. The suit fits nice, yeah?" Taylor snapped us out of our eye-fucking with a snap of her hand. "What? Yeah. It fits." He answered her, glancing at her before his eyes were back on me.
"Alright then. Shoo." She said, trying to usher him toward the door. He didn't budge. He just raised a brow at me. I grinned and gave him a shrug. "You did kinda break the rule." I teased. "Fine. Whatever. We'll finish this tomorrow." He gave me a wink, giving me another once over before he turned and headed toward the door.
"Why didn't you prepare me for the amount of hotness that walked in that door?" I grabbed the tablet that was in Taylor's hand and began to fan myself with it. "None of us had seen him in it. It was a first for us all." She grinned at me, snatching the tablet back in mid fan.
"Okay, you all are free to go. Everything's all set for tomorrow." Taylor announced, excitement radiating off of her. "Yep. The dress is finished. Everything's officially all set." Chris exclaimed happily, buzzing, I mean walking, around to the front of me and helping me down from the stool I was standing on. I almost let their excitement coax out the excitement that I know is somewhere in me, when I remembered that everything was not all set for tomorrow.
"Hold it. I don't have a present for him. He got me a present and I don't have one for him." I said that all in one breath before I began to pace the floor. Kane raised a brow at me. "Does she do this often?" He asked, that smirk of his still intact.
"Yep." Shea answered, grabbing me by my shoulders to still my moving. "I'm pretty sure you just being there is present enough, Sadie." He gave me a soft smile. I sighed, calming a little. "That's sweet, but I still want to have something to give him."
"Too late to go to a store, Sades." Taylor shrugged. "You could sing him a song." Chris suggested. I eased out of Shea's grip and walked over to Chris, giving him a quick hug. "You are a genius." I kissed him on the cheek before I let him go.
"I'm gonna write him a song." Rae looked up at me with a grin when I said that. I grinned back. "Awww." Taylor replied. "Yeah. But I'm gonna need the two musically inclined people in the house to help me. When you're done changing, meet me in the basement. Now get out so Taylor can unzip me."
Let me know if you'd like to see their wedding attire. I'll put the links on my profile if you wanna see.
I also found a pic of what I envision Sayde to look like. Just let me know if you'd like me to put the links up.
I also have an idea for another story, (don't need another WIP, but I can't get this idea out of my head). It's about an OC of mine that I've been creating on all of my WWE games for years. Random, I know. The leading man in this story is Roman Reigns, cause he's gorg and he's perfect for what I have planned. Punk's gonna be in it, too, as my OC's friend, by the way. And so is Sheamus, Chris, Kane, and, of course, Taker. So, with your thoughts about this chapter, could you lovelies please let me know if it's something you'd be interested in reading?
Once again, I hope you all enjoyed this latest installment.
