"I think that I have a solution of how to infiltrate their secret base." Brightclaw barks, we all look at her as she smiles, handing me a necklace with a raptor emblem. "I got this off of Raptin's neck, after attacking him!" She laughs. "For a guy calling himself a "superior life-form", he should have looked around for his device, instead of just having Duna teleport him." Brightclaw chuckles.
"You sneaky canine!" Blaze laughs. "I thought you had gone wild on us." Blaze barks, as he playfully punches Brightclaw on the shoulder.
"That was just an instinct to protect my family. Also, I am ready to go fight!" Brightclaw barks excitedly.
"You need to rest, Brightclaw!" I exclaim, trying to stop her from jumping up and down.
"Hunter, you may as well give up. Once Crystal would make up her mind, she can't be stopped. Even though she is Brightclaw now, Crystal is still more stubborn than a bull and mule combined." Sparky laughs, as I try to put Brightclaw back in bed, keyword "try". In the end, Brightclaw ends up being on top of me in a dog pile, but she still was very light.
"You should take their word for it. Once my mind is up, there's no going back!" Brightclaw barks proudly.
"Fine, but how are we going to get on the ship without anyone knowing that we are not dinaurians?" I ask.
"Easy, Yuki and Sparky will get Scrap to help them with a holographic disguise. In the meantime, we also have to find a way to hide our scent!" Brightclaw barks.
"Our scent?" Holt and I ask.
"You're right! Draco was able to tell that we were in the room, just by sniffing the air, as well as your old forest scent!" Blaze exclaims.
"I should be fine, because in my DNA, there is something that is part reptile. How are we to do this?" Brightclaw thinks, her eyes looking around the room. "That's it!" She barks, pointing at my Dino Medal.
"What's it, Brightclaw?" Holt asks.
"Our vivosaur's have the scent of dinosaurs! I overheard Duna say that her species evolved from dinosaurs! So if we are able to smell like a dinosaur…" Brightclaw starts.
"Then we would smell just like dinaurians!" I exclaim, and everyone gasps in realization.
"Th-that's genius! Prof. Scout and I will get to work on a device that will transfers a vivosaur's scent onto the seven of us!" Dr. Digging says before running off with his partner to get to work.
"Sparky, you and Yuki know what to do." Brightclaw barks.
"On it, be back in two ways of a tail!" Sparky barks as he and Yuki speed of to Scrap to get tools.
"Blaze, we need to find vivosaurs that would match our powers, appearance, and bond!" Brightclaw exclaims, as she runs to a VMM. "They cannot be any of our main team members, if they are…" Brightclaw starts.
"Then our cover would be blown!" I finish her sentence, and she nods in confirmation.
"It has to be a reptile though. If it is a mammal, they'll know the difference." Brightclaw sighs.
"So then, I will need the scent of a Siamo." Blaze says as he gets out his Siamo medal.
"I'll have the scent of an Allo!" Brightshadow barks, getting out a neutral Dino Medal.
"I will have the scent of an Acro." Holt says, as he grabs his earth vivosaur.
"Petra for Diggins, and a compso for Prof. Scout." Brightclaw barks, handing me the medals.
"I will use a T-Rex, that way we won't be looked down on." I say grabbing a T-Rex medal from the VMM."what about you Brightclaw, what scent will you use?" I ask her.
Brightclaw sighs before speaking. "Hunter, I am not going to be in disguise." She barks.
"What, why not?!" I ask.
"I have a plan, and it is a risky one, but we will be able to go threw with the plan perfectly! I will pretend to be your prisoner, that you have captured." Brightclaw explains.
"That is far too risky! I won't lose you again!" Blaze barks at her.
"Blaze, I am the leader. I have been in life-threatening situations since I was five years old. Before I even met you! I had become a fugitive because of a legend, that I wasn't even part of! I had saved that world a few months after returning to the place I had called home. I had to say goodbye to all of the friends that I had made there! It has been about six years since." Brightclaw snaps at Blaze. "Many of my friends have made sacrifices for me over and over. It is my time to save my friends once again. Even if it kills me!" Brightclaw snarls. "The devices should be ready by now." Brightclaw barks, walking to the warehouse of the Fossil Center.
"Sis, what's wrong?" Brightshadow asks, walking beside his sister.
"I am nobody's possession!" Brightclaw barks, looking back at Blaze.
"Brightclaw wait!" I shout to her, but she ignores me.
"She really hasn't changed at all." Blaze sighs, drooping his ears in sadness.
"What do you mean, Blaze?" I ask him.
"When we were all still human, people would treat Brightclaw as a little kid. That's what they saw her as, even though she was older than she looked. Especially me, I would always tell her to be careful wherever she would go, but that would annoy her. Before Crystal was Brightclaw, she was just a young girl, running far away from home, to keep her family safe from the man that had experimented on her. She had been away from home for only I a few days, before arriving in my hometown. Crystal had always seemed so secretive, and I eventually found out why." Blaze sighs.
"You found her as an angel-hound, didn't you?" I ask.
"Yes, Crystal had tried to run away, but I would not let's her go. After five minutes of struggling, she still tried to escape. I told her that I was a friend, and that her secret would be safe with me. A year later, Yuki's parents were still trying to find a way to get rid of the angel-hound DNA that was inside of her. They had finally found a cure, but at the same time, a terrible event had occurred. It was the day that everything changed for us." Blaze sighs.
"What happened?" I ask.
Blaze looks away for a second, and takes a deep breath. "The man that had experimented on Crystal, had found us all. He barged into the lab, with Crystal's little brother, threatening to kill him, unless Crystal would give herself up." Blaze barks, his voice full of hurt. "Crystal had not given herself up, but did something else. Instead of using the cure, she did the opposite. Making it impossible toake herself a complete human again. She had become what you know as Brightclaw, running far away from us, protecting us. That day, I was going to confess my feelings for her, but I was unable to. I had done something that I would never regret, I did the same thing as Crystal, and became an angel-hound to find her, to bring her back home. The only difference when I had become an angel-hound, I was still able to transform into a human, as well as the rest of my friends that had joined me. We had all been thrown into a different world though, separated. Sparky,
Cherry, and I knew what each other looked like, before we were separated. Some of us had lost parts of our memories as well though. I had forgotten what Crystal had looked like as an angel-hound. Which is why I had not recognized Brightclaw as Crystal, and she had lost far more memories than us." Blaze explains. "I feel so guilty for yelling at Brightclaw so much for the past few weeks." Blaze says, flattening his ears against his head. "I have caused her so much pain, without realizing it. Brightclaw had recognized me at first sight. She always did have a great memory, except that was just because we knew each other for a short time. Her older memories had been too far back in her childhood to be able to completely remember." Blaze barks. "I…just want…to be able…to protect her, but Brightclaw always refuses to ask for help in most things. It's just the way she is." He sighs, walking after Brightclaw, wiping the tears from his eyes.
"No wonder Blaze is so down. He's been snapping at the person that he vowed to protect." Holt says, walking beside me as we enter the warehouse.
"Yeah, but he really shouldn't beat himself over it. That isn't what Brightclaw would want. Blaze didn't even know that it was her." I whisper to Holt as we walk up to Diggins and Scout, who disapprove of Brightclaw's plan.
"It is our only option, I will be able to escape, unscathed. It takes a lot more than an army of dinuarians to take me down. Just let me do my plan, I promise you that I will return!" Brightclaw barks.
"Fine, then it is time to disguise all of you." Prof. Scout barks. The six of us are given a necklace that has dinosaur emblems on them. Holt's has a V-aRaptor, Sparky's is a Spino, Brightshadow has a Nychus, Blaze's is a T-Rex, Prof. Scout has a Tricera, Dr. Diggins has a Stego, and mine is a Spinax. "Just insert your Dino Medals into the the device, and then you would smell similar to the dinuarians!" Prof. Scout explains as we all do as instructed. Immediately after inserting our Dino Medals into the slots, a bright flash envelopes all of us. When I open my eyes and look at myself, I see that I am no longer human. I dash over to a mirror and look at my new form. My hair is now gray, and no longer wild. My crown has become green spiky tips. My torso is mostly gray, and rimmed with green. The lines under my face are green. My eyes are now blue, and my ears are pointed and the same color as my torso. I look behind me to see a powerful gray and green tail. I also look at my hands, I now have retractable claws. So basically, I'm a humanoid Spinax. Holt looks like a smaller version of Raptin, but his color is brown and yellow. Dr. Diggins looks like a Stego, and Prof. Scout looks like a canine version of a Tricera. The rest of the angel-hounds look like Draco, but have the fur coloring of the vivosaur emblems on their disguise generator.
"I'm ready team!" Brightclaw barks, walking over to us all tied up.
"Did you get beat up or something?!" Brightshadow gasps in shock.
"Don't worry, it's just paint and fake blood smell. The dinaurians know that I could put up quite a fight. So we have to make it look like I was severely injured." Brightclaw barks. "I don't want any of you to be harmed. So if any dinaurians try to take me away, I will snap in every direction, so make sure to instruct them that you were told to take me to the leader. Also, say that it was from his direct orders that YOU were told to bring me in person." Brightclaw explains.
"Right, time to go team!" I say as we all activate our teleportation devices. 'So far so good. No other dinaurians in sight, so it's time to find the idols, and save the planet and human race.' I think as we walk through the halls. Brightclaw goes limp in my arms as we enter a room full of dinaurians. We all calmly walk through the room, but out of the corner of my eye, I see Star in her true form. Her fur is just the same as it is as an angel-hound, but in the form of a Dino-hound.
"Everyone, this is all wrong! We shouldn't revert all life to single-celled amoebas. We should let them creatures of Earth live the way they are. They are not a flawed experiment, they are a gift of the planet!" Star howls, trying to claw her way out of a cage.
"You've gone crazy ever since the accident." A Dino-hound rolls his eyes at her.
"Brightclaw will stop…" Star was cut off by the sight of Brightclaw. "Oh no, they're too late." She whispers to herself. Star continues to watch as I carry Brightclaw away, tears form in her eyes. "She was their only hope in survival, as well as Hunter." Star cries, lying her head down on her paws.
I then hear a low snarl from my right. I look over, and rage starts to boil within my blood. "Looks like some of our troops were able to capture this pathetic mutt!" Draco laughs as he slashes Brightclaw on the shoulder, causing a wound to open. Blood trickles down Brightclaw's bleeding shoulder, and she lets out a grunt of pain. "As I had said before, you are not even worth eating! To me, you are just a toy! Something to throw around, until broken!" Draco snarls, walking away.
After Draco left, we all continued to find the idols. Brightclaw was already starting to heal with the help of Blaze's Maia, Mystic. I could feel the anger inside of him fading. I also could feel the worry that he is feeling. 'Must be a side-effect from the DNA?' I think as I reach a door of purple energy. 'This has to be the place!' I mentally exclaim, dashing into the room with the team. "Alright everyone, we all need to detach all of the idols. If we just take one, a new idol will be made to replace it." I explain.
"Got it, Hunter." Holt says, running over to the small yellow idol with Sparky.
"We also must be careful, we need to hide as we do this." Prof. Scout explains as he runs over to the big red idol with Diggins. Blaze follows me to the tall blue one, and Brightshadow goes over to the green idol. Brightclaw is keeping lookout for any dinaurians. After five minutes, we have almost all the idols. The only idol left is the one Brightshadow has. We all start to walk over to the green idol, but all of a sudden, I feel a sense of danger. "Everyone hide!" I quietly shout. Dr. Diggins hides behind the blue idol. Holt and Sparky hide behind the yellow. Brightclaw, Blaze, and I hide behind the red. Brightshadow quickly hides behind the green idol, as he starts to chew on the wires. Two dinaurians walk in. I immediately recognize Duna, but the dinaurian next to her is much taller. There is also a dino-hound next to him as well. The dinaurian has two magenta horns on his head, two blue wings slightly hidden under his royal blue robe, light grey scales, black around his yellow eyes, and snow white hair that is like a mane. There are also hints of light blue scales around his torso. The dino-hound is about 6ft. 4 in height, deep violet eyes that gleam with resent. His pelt looks like the night sky surrounded with stars. Talons that are as sharp as a Spinax's spine.
"You have done well, Duna." The dinaurian speaks. "You have successfully returned with the sub-idolcomps. We are very pleased." He continues.
"It is a shame though. Your sister has been very disobedient, ever since you returned wounded. She had melts saying that a mammal had saved you and let you free. That is very humorous." He laughs.
"She will have to be examined soon, to discover what has caused her to come up with such foolish talk." Barks the dino-hound.
"Understood, King Dynal and King Galaxy." Duna says, hanging her head down in sadness and shame.
"I had even heard from Drcao recently, that he had fun. Wounding a beast. It also seems that the beast that he had wounded, matches the description of the mammal that "saved" you." Galaxy explains, and Duna gasps.
"Also that the beast has been captured, and will be experiments on. To change the rest of its species into the right life-form." Dynal says, taking a few steps back. "Duna, you have earned the privilege to set our home right." Dynal says in a monotone voice.
Duna takes several steps forward, and reaches out for the switch. All of a sudden a memory flashes in her mind. "Star, where are you?" A ten year old Duna calls out, searching for her younger sibling. Duna stops to listen around the forest. All of a sudden she hears a twig snap. "Aha!" She exclaims, jumping at the sound, but falls into a pile of leaves. "Star, come here! Don't hide from me, please come home!" Duna calls out, hoping that her sister comes.
"No, I won't come home. I can no longer call that place home." A tiny voice calls out.
"Why not, you are loved by everyone in the kingdom?!" Duna laughs.
"Not anymore, I'm a freak. When I shielded you from that blast in the lab, something changed me. I am no longer a dinaurian." Star says coming out from behind a tree. Duna gasps. Instead of seeing her six year old sister, Duna saw a small fur and scale covered creature. Duna takes a step back, before picking Star up.
"Star, I don't care for what you look like. You're my sister, and that is all that matters." Duna cries, hugging Star tight and doesn't let go. "I promise you, I will never try to alter any living thing's life ever. I will keep that promise for my entire life." Duna says.
Another memory flashes into her mind…
A ten year old Star and fourteen year old Duna are glaring dagger at each other. "Duna, we cannot change these creatures and take their home away!" Star barks at Duna.
"We can't or we shouldn't! You have grown weak like the mammals!" Duna growls at Star.
"I am not weak, you are. We also shouldn't be fighting. We're sisters, and sisters shouldn't fight!" Star snaps.
"You are no longer my sister, just an experiment gone wrong!" Duna growls. "You must obey my every command from now on!" She snarls, slashing Star's arm. A scar had formed the next day, but it is barely visible.
"You broke your promise." Star hisses at Duna.
'You promised not to change any creatures life.' Star's words echo in Duna's head, as she reaches for the switch.
'I did promise, and I will keep it.' Duna thinks as she pulls her hand away from the switch.
"Why do you hesitate, Duna?" Dynal asks, taking a step forward.
"My sister is correct, this is all wrong!" Duna exclaims as she turns around to face an angry Dynal and Galaxy.
"You traitor, how dare you side with the pathetic mammals?!" Galaxy snarls at Duna.
"It saddens me to think that you at of all of us would turn." Dynal growls, walking closer to Duna, who steps back in fear.
"I won't let you harm my sister!" A voice howls as a blue and white blur tackles Dynal and Galaxy. It was Star and she was bleeding slightly from her forehead.
"Star, how in the world did you get free?" Duna asks as she picks Star up.
"I wanted to protect you…even…if it would kill me." Star weakly barks as she faints.
"Star!" Duna shouts as she hugs her unconscious sister.
"This should make things easier for us now!" Dynal growls, approaching Duna.
"I don't think so!" I say, coming out from hiding, still holding Brightclaw.
"You will also betray your own king!" Galaxy snarls, about to slash me.
Galaxy tries to slit my throat, but a flash of silver and grey stops him. "I betray no one. Especially my own partner." I say as Brightclaw stands tall and removes the makeup from herself, showing her gleaming fur and claws. Her eyes shine with determination, and she lets out a huge howl. I remove the pendant from my neck, and my disguise fades away.
"Hunter!" Duna exclaims.
"A human?!" Galaxy growls.
"I also cannot forgive Draco, for harming my partner!" Brightclaw barks, barkng her fangs. "Don't even try calling for all of your guards, they're too busy dealing with my clanmates." Brightclaw barks as two guards comes into the room.
"GRRRRR! DINOMATONS! DESTROY THIS IMPUDENT HUMAN!" Dynal roars as six capsules are thrown at me. Brightclaw grabs me, and Blaze grabs Duna. Pulling us to safety as the capsules become robotic versions of Zinos.
"We will not lose, as long as we are together!" I shout throwing Moss, Kaze, and Breeze's medals at three of the robots.
"We are a team, and teammates are always there for each other!" Brightclaw growls, throwing Whirlwind, Fang, and Storm at the other three.
"COMMENCING STEEL SLASH ON SPINAX." Dinomaton 1 says as it runs at Moss and rakes its long iron claws down Moss's flank. Moss lets out a grunt of pain, but isn't hurt much.
"Moss, use a Spinax fang on Dinomaton 1! Kaze, follow up with a Diving Thrust on the same Dinomaton!" I shout, as Slash charges at the robot, and clamps his jaws down on its neck, immobilizing it. Kaze then dives down straight into the Dinomaton, and hits it dead center. Kaze actually manages to pierce through the robot and make it explode from the inside.
"You three know what to do!" Brightclaw barks at her team. They all nod their heads yes. "Then let's do this! Whirlwind, great vortex on the main Dinomaton! Storm, I need a Shan fury on the Dinomaton to the left! Fang, S-Fury to the Dinomaton to the right!" Brightclaw roars, jumping onto Whirlwind's back as her team unleashes their attacks. At the end of the attacks, Brightclaw jumps onto the tallest Dinomaton and somersaults off its back, and spins into the air. Brightclaw then spirals down at Galaxy, who is about to attack Brightshadow. "I put my life on the line to protect my family and friends!" She growls, as Galaxy charges at her. The two of them clash together, as if they were wild beasts.
The two remaining Dinomaton then charge at me from my right and left, but I doge in between the two. The two robotic vivosaurs then collide, and fall to the ground. "Moss, Spinax cyclone on Dinomaton#2! Breeze, use lethal poison on the other Dinomaton!" I shout. Moss opens up his jaws and fires a tornado from his mouth. The Dinomaton is sent flying at the ship's wall. Breeze then dashes at the other, and slashes it's back, before poisoning the robot with a whirlwind from his mouth. The last Dinomaton is finally destroyed.
"Aha! Now mammals, watch as your entire species is reverted back into amoebas!" Dynal laughs as he presses the switch.
"I don't think so!" Brightshadow happily barks, holding up the green idol.
"Yeah, way to go, dude!" Sparky laughs.
"We saved the day again!" Brightshadow laughs, jumping up and down.
"BRIGHTSHADOW YOU MUST GET AWAY FROM THE IDOL!" Yuki's voice rang through our communicators.
"Why?!" Blaze exclaims.
A sharp pain shoots through my body, as Brightclaw dashes to get Brightshadow. I now realize what is wrong. What powers the idols is time. All of sudden, Brightshadow disappears in a flash of light. "Noooooooo!" Brightclaw cries, landing where her brother once was. She turns to us all and growls. "We must hurry back to Earth! Everyone, retreat at once!" We all head home, with the remaining idols. The wild-hounds quickly search the island, for any sign of Brightshadow. 'I just hope that you are found, Brightshadow.' I thinks we all take a rest from the mission.

Blaze: Hunter let me in.
Brightclaw237: Hunter, why did you let him in?!
Hunter: I thought that Brightclaw would need some cheering up.
Brightclaw: (pushes Blaze out and gets on a computer, and puts on a headset ) Hey, I'm going to need a favor. Yes, that is what happened. Thanks buddy. Well we might see my little brother again. The chances are very slim though.
Brightclaw237: What are the odds?
Brightclaw: You won't like them.
Hunter: (grabs paper from Brightclaw) 1 out of 1,000,000.
Blaze: LET ME IN!
Brightclaw237: No! Now go back home!
