After so long, I'm finally back! Sorry for those who are actually reading. I've had a bit of it written, but I wanted to make it long, so I added lots of things. Things in the manga are getting heated up. I might also modify mistakes I made in previous chapters so that new readers can read better.

"Hey Lucy!" Lyon had called her.

She had been resting under a tree as Kagura was washing up. Lyon had just finished cooking.

"What is it Lyon?" She walked up to him.

The two sat on a log.

"What are you going to do once this is over?" He asked her directly.

"Eh?" she hadn't thought of it at all.

For the past days, they have been training in the dragon's den with Estrella. Lyon had learned a bit of Ice Dragon Slayer since his main element was ice. He couldn't do much since it wasn't permanent, but it helped him get a lot stronger. Lucy had practicing to wield her sword, knows as Heart Thorn. There was still many things she didn't know about the sword she is currently wielding. She would have to uncover the secrets behind it. Kagura had trained along with them.

The trio had learned many new things. Lucy had finally learned more bout her deceased mother. It was hard accepting all of it, but it was al for the best. However, she didn't tell Kagura or Lyon about it.

Estrella was a former swordsman back when she was in her human form. Kagura had picked up many tips from her. Lucy was really satisfied with the results of training. She would never forget the time she lost 3 months.

Lyon had a hard time letting go off his teacher, but both Ur and Kagura convinced him that it had to happen. The duo also learned many things about themselves including Lucy. There was no doubt that she was now a powerful wizard, the two of them knew very well. She was happy, she wasn't weak like her old self. Everyone started off weak and eventually blooms. It was finally her turn.

They eventually left the dragon's den and parted ways with Estrella since Kagura and Lyon eventually had to go back to their perspective guilds. Estrella guaranteed that it wasn't going to be the last time they see each other. The whole thing felt like weeks, but in reality, it was only a couple of days. The time in the dragon's den was different to their world.

"What do you mean over?" She looked at him not sure of what he meant.

"Kagura and I are only traveling for a certain amount of time. After all this training, we won't be together anymore." He said sadly.

"Yeah, I understand. I almost forgot you were rivals of my old guild." Lucy also said sadly.

"We were supposed to go back to our guild yesterday, but we decided to stay and keep training with you." Lyon revealed, which certainly surprised the blonde.

"Thanks for staying with me." she smiled softly.

"Our guild masters want us back in less than a week." he said.

"It would make sense since the Grand Magic Games are over as well." they still somehow kept tracked.

"From what I heard, Mermaid Heel won." Lyon said

"Really?! Even when their most powerful wizard is gone?!" Kagura did not participate since she had been traveling with them.

"I was surprised too. Apparently, they brought someone else to replace her."

"Who was it?!" Lucy needed to know.

The Grand Magic Games...

"Like last year, you all had to past the maze! I'll only be announcing the first place team!"

"I wonder who could have beaten us" Erza said.

Fairy Tail Team B had came in 4th as Team A came in 3rd.

"Maybe Lamia Scale?" Wendy suggested.

"No, apparently, they came in 5th."

"In first place... Mermaid Heel!" Chapati revealed surprising everyone.

"Seriously?!" Natsu and many other yelled out.

"We got beaten by those girls?!" Cuatro Puppy had surprisingly came in 2nd place.

"But wait, Kagura isn't here either." Erza pointed out.

"I wonder how they could have made it first without her."

"Don't underestimate us!" The girls heard them loud and clear.

"I don't remember seeing her." Natsu pointed the girl with a a cape over her head.

"It's not nice to point."

"My bad."

"I bet it's a guy trying to hide!"

"I'm pretty sure it's a girl. I don't think they'd let some guy join them. Lisanna said.

...

"Our next and final battle... from Fairy Tail, we've got Levy McGarden!"

"Good luck shrimp." Gajeel patted her back.

"Good luck Levy!" The team encouraged her, it made her even more determined to win this fight.

"Levy! Win for Fairy Tail!" Everyone in Fairy Tail screamed from the supporting area.

"I'll do my best!" She said.

"From Mermaid Heel... The girl wearing a cape?!"

"Will we find out her identity?!" Chapati yelled

"I guess it's time." many people recognized that voice.

She took the cape off, revealing her locks of white hair.

"Yukino?!" Everybody yelled, obviously surprised to see her.

"It's been a while." She smiled,

"What are you doing there?!" Sting yelled out from the crowd.

"Remember when Kagura-san invited me to Mermaid Heel?" She started off.

They all thought trying to remember when that was. Then they remembered that it was during the Grand Ball.

"Don't tell me..." Rufus said.

"I didn't think you'd take it!" Sting yelled.

"I don't think anyone did." Lector told his partner.

"I never changed my scent, you guys couldn't tell?" She pointed out.

All the dragon slayers felt embarrassed for not thinking that. Obviously they dint think of using their nose on a girl.

"You guys really are idiots when it comes to your noses except for Wendy." Erza scolded them all once again.

"Let's have a great battle Levy-sama!" Yukino said.

"Right Yukino!" Levy replied back.

"Wow, that must of surprised many people." Gary said.

"Yukino got strong during those years, Kagura helped her train a bit before she left." the girls of Mermaid Heel had gotten close to her. They got along really well, much better than they expected.

...

"She was already strong on her own, but with Kagura's training, I can't tell how much stronger she got."

"You've gotten a lot stronger as well Lucy." Kagura now showed up.

"Really?" Lucy was surprised hearing that come form Kagura.

"A lot if I must say." She did not hesitate with her statement.

"I still want to become stronger." Lucy said determined.

"Then let's make the most out of it this week." Kagura said, now sitting next to Lucy.

"Right!" Lucy grinned

"That's the spirit. Lyon patted her head.

She saw both Lyon and Kagura like older siblings. Technically, their age age wouldn't be big, but Lucy and the others did lose 7 years on Tenrou Island. Kagura was supposed to be younger than her.

"After this, I might want to try traveling by myself." Lucy had decided.

"With all the experience you currently have, you'll do fine by yourself, but are you sure?" The two were still worried for her.

"I want to learn more by myself too and not rely to much on people. Besides, it'll be a new experience for me." She said.

"I see, but that doesn't mean we'll cut contact after all of this is over."

"Don't worry, I promise to see you guys again. Also, one more thing" she said in a serious tone

"What is it?" Kagura and Lyon wondered what she was about to say.

"Don't tell anyone that you saw me." Kagura and Lyon were hesitant, but accepted her choice.

"Yeah, we'll try."

"For a while, I thought you guys wouldn't." Lucy felt reassured.

"Its you're choice." Kagura smiled, which was rare.

"If something happens, we'll make sure to react." Lyon smiled as well.

"Don't hesitate to come visit Mermaid Heel." Kagura said.

"You're free to visit Lamia Scale as well." Lyon said as well.

"I've been meaning to ask, but what about you guys?" She couldn't help, but smirked at the end.

Kagura and Lyon's face heated up.

"Don't worry about that!" The two said at the same time.

"Eh?" the two looked away from each other both red.

"Some think alike you know?" Lucy couldn't help but be happy for them, her friends.

How was it? Reviews would be nice. This chapter is Lucy recalling what happened while she mentioned something happened in a letter she wrote to her mother. It was quite a while ago. I don't know the next time I'll be updating, I hope you guys can wait! I'll post another authors note to warn you guys if it's long. Also, I changed my writing style quite a bit.
