Now, I'm sorry Quidditch isn't as detailed as some of you would like, but lets face it, they holiday is getting a bit long don't you think?
And it is an excuse, to not write about a Quidditch match, I'll admit to it.

When they arrived on the field a broom was trusted in her hands and Daisy felt right at home when she mounted and took off in the air. Much to the surprise of the two girls she left behind on the ground. "You didn't think I would agree, when I would make a fool out of myself now, would you?" Daisy asked with a wink. The smile was back on the girls faces.

"Daisy is on our team!" Scorpius yelled, when he saw his niece between the bundle of brooms in the air. Daisy stuck her tong out in a childish way and found herself smiling because of her antics. "Too late," Roxanne said with a smirk on her face, while she positioned herself next to her, on a broom herself. "She had already agreed to be on ours."

Scorpius looked at his niece, like she had just betrayed him, but she just shrugged her shoulders at him. "It's true," she told her cousin, like there wasn't anything he could do about it. It soon became clear to Daisy that it was boys versus the girls and she had no problem with that, since it made two whole teams. She had never seen half of them play, but the other half were in the Quidditch team at Hogwarts. Louise was chaser for the Ravenclaw team as was Dominique. She distantly remember Teddy playing in her first year, but she still thought they had a fair chance, they had never seen her play after all.

"Do you mind being a beater?" Roxanne asked the girl next to her, since it normally wasn't something anyone in her family wanted to be. Daisy simply shrugged her shoulders and gave the girl a smile.

"Not at all," Daisy told the girl with a smirk, sending the worries her friend had away. It was perfect. Only Scorpius would know what hit him, literally. She send the girl a wink, before she looked at the boys in front of them. "Could you please be gentle, since this is my first time playing." Daisy blinked her eyes, while she made them bigger and tried to look innocent. It seemed to be working, only Scorpius was snorting, but the rest didn't pay him attention.

"Princes Daisy, we will try not to harm you," Potter told the blonde girl and she could tell in his eyes that he was genuine. It was soon decided that Albus and his sister would play seeker, that Victoire assured her would lead them to victory. Potter, Teddy and Scorpius were quickly decided to play chasers for their team and for the girls team it was decided to put in Victoire, Dominique and Rose. That left Daisy and Roxanne for their team and Fred and Louise for the other team. Mrs. Potter stood on the sideline, to make sure there was no cheating.

They were a few minutes in the game, that the guys had learned they had underestimated Daisy, when she had let the three boys strayed out off course with the mean balls she had thrown at them, resulting in them letting the quaffle go. Something Scorpius had tried to warn them about before, he had tried to persuade his niece in changing teams, but she had been stubborn. She had also stopped Albus' attempted to catch the snitch once, which she enjoyed. The loses the guys had suffered didn't get to make up in the game. In the end it wasn't a surprise when the girls won and it was clear to her the boys were sore losers. After they were done complaining they had lost to girls, they came to the agreement, they had let them won. At this Daisy snorted, since they had won fair. Even Mrs. Potter let out a chuckle of her own, while she gave the girls an high five. Telling them, that once again girls were just as good in playing sports as boys were.

Fred and Potter cornered her after the game, while the rest chatted about the game and found their way to the rest of the family.

"How come you never told us, you were good at Quidditch?" Fred accused one of his best friends, while he glared at the blonde, like she had betrayed him.

"You never asked," Daisy told the boy with a cheeky smile on her face. She was amused that the boys thought it was going to be an easy win, when they had lost.

"How come you have never tried out for the team?" Potter asked, while he looked at the blonde girl in surprise. It was obviously that in all his stalking he had never once thought she played Quidditch and she played it well. However, it had made her smile turn, she had wanted to try out and he reminded her again, that she wasn't allowed.

"You've never met my family have you?" Daisy asked the boy, while she looked at the two boys that suddenly felt the need to look at their shoes.

"We've met your cousin, Scorpius," Fred said, in relieve that he could tell her, he had met some of her family. Daisy chuckled at that answer, but even she could hear that it sounded fake. She didn't like to talk about her family, that meant she had to talk about her mother and she was pure evil.

"Well, if you would have met them, you would know that playing Quidditch isn't ladylike," Daisy told the boys, like she was reciting a quote she heard too many times, she had heard it too many times. "Ladies don't sweat and they don't get avoidable injuries." Daisy rolled her eyes.

"But you jog, don't you sweat while you jog?" Potter asked confused. Daisy gasped at those words, thinking it was best to make a joke out of it, since the conversation was turning too serious.

"Are you accusing me of sweating?" Daisy asked in a fake-scandalized voice. She put her hand for her mouth to prevent her smile from showing. She could see the boys panicking in front of her eyes and she couldn't help a real chuckle to leave her lips this time.

Daisy looked up from her book, when the door to the compartment she was in opened and a smile formed on her lips, when she saw it was her best friend. It was true, the holiday hadn't been as bad as she had thought they were going to be, but she had still missed her best friend. "Kelly!" Daisy said with glee in her voice. She had never understood why girls were so happy when they saw friends they hadn't seen in a while, but she had understood every time she saw her best friend after an holiday. "How was your holiday?"

"It was great," Kelly said with amusement in her voice, while she stuffed her bags in the railing, that was placed for this purpose. Kelly's owl hooted, as if to remind the blonde girl, not to miss him. Daisy smiled, while she grabbed an owl treat out if her pocket, which she only carried around for feeding him. Feeling from a man, went through the stomach, even when the man was an owl. "It was great to see my parents again, but it would have been better if you would have come visit."

"We can't always have what we want," Daisy said with a shrug of her shoulders. The smile hadn't left her lips, while she cooed at the owl in the cage. She was in a better mood, then she normally was and Kelly had taken notice to it.

"You seem more cheerful then normal when you have spent time with your parents," Kelly said in a curious tone. She plopped in the seat across her best friend and made a face that without telling Daisy knew what it said, spill. "Did the engagement get cancelled?"

Daisy chuckled at the hopeful words of her best friend, not even those words would ruin her mood. "I just had a little trip to get away from my family," Daisy told the girl with a smile on her face, knowing she wouldn't get out with such a vague answer, but it was worth the try.

"And your parents let you?" Kelly asked in surprise. She hadn't met Daisy's parents, but the stories that she had heard, were enough to tell her, they were the controlling kind. Daisy smiled in mischief at her best friend.

"What they don't know, won't hurt them," she said in a sing song voice, since it was a personal accomplishment for her, to do one thing for once under the watchful eyes of her parents to do something they wouldn't approve of. Even her father wouldn't have approved of it.

"Where did you go?" Kelly asked, since she was proud of her best friend, in her own way she stood up to her parents, even when she didn't always agree with the things her best friend did.

"The burrow," Daisy said with a smug smile on her face, since it was the place she would have never been allowed to enter if her parents knew.

"You went to the Weasleys and the Potters?" Kelly asked in shock. She knew her friend had a proud smile on her face, but she hadn't known until now, how proud that smile had been. She really had rebelled against her parents, even when they didn't know, she had even gone to see her enemy, that she hadn't been arguing with as much as she used to do. "I'm so proud of you!"
