Chapter 34
Belle reacted immediately and got in front of her brother and turned to Elijah "Even though what my brother did to me was wrong you don't need to go and make an example out of them...Please my love take your anger out on someone else."
Elijah stepped down close to me as the audience around them whispered about what to do about the vampire problem and what should be done about the situation. Kol was getting bored and started to talk to Jeremy but he backed away not wanting to get anywhere near this vampire but Kol just kept on coming closer.
Elijah turned to Belle and took her face in his hands and said "My lovely Belle we have discussed this we must make an example of this to others."
Belle knew this was true but she was standing strong even though every cell in her undead body was screaming at her to listen and obey her mate.
But Belle said back not knowing if she would change his mind "What if this idea wasn't my brother's idea what if Damon was manipulated like Caroline was?"
Elijah considered this but was interrupted by Tyler yelling out "Why are we just standing around! Listen up citizens this originals are the reason this town is in peril. The reasons all vampires exists the reason that the entire town and loved ones are dying out!"
That did it for Klaus, Klaus's eye glowed yellow and his fangs where out the citizens ran away when Klaus held Lockwood against the wall. He growled out "We did not cause all of these problems, they were meant to happen after the sacrifice I needed a couple of hybrids to guard my family. It was your fault that they all died and turned against us. You caused the hunters to come and kill others not me...you and your friends."
Tyler was taken back "You're...the...reason...why...the...hunter-s came...not m-e."
He was gasping for breath when Elijah came up and put a hand on Klaus's shoulder "Niklaus put the wolf down we want our side of the story out...remember you mates watching."
Elijah was right and Klaus put the sad excuse of a wolf down. Klaus turned to the locals and said "This town is our home too. And we where trying to do our part our attentions may seem wrong and yes we do cause a lot of problems and deaths did happen, but we have changed and we want to restore this town to it formal days where we all had bright ideas and our voices were all heard...and besides the group in this corner," Klaus pointed to Tyler, Bonnie, Jeremy, and Stefan where in, "Are the reasons why so many have died not us."
The town seemed to murmur in agreement. Belle sighed and turned to Damon and Elena "Go sit down and try not to draw attention to yourselves I got you out for now but stay low and you may get out alive. I'm with Elijah on all of this; please understand we just want to live in peace with this town. Elena we have no use for you Caroline is all Klaus wants."
Damon nodded and took Elena's hand and sat in the dark corner trying to not draw attention to themselves. Tyler looked like he was about to attack Klaus and grab Caroline and then got out and start an angry mob at all of them with the whole town "This is your problems and now it time to pay for all of your wrong doing."
Tyler nodded to Bonnie she stepped forward and concentrated on Belle, Elijah, Klaus, Kol, Rebekah, and even Caroline and they all felt pain inside of their heads and dropped to the ground screaming in pain.
Darcie saw this and looked at Bonnie "Why are you helping them they are the reason the balance of nature and order is off not them."
Bonnie glared at this witch "You have just got here and you're a traitor not me. You stand her with these murderers and even probably have slept with one of them. You don't get a say traitor of nature."
Darcie was taken aback by that and tried to think about what to do trying to gather all of the magic she could to fight against Bonnie. Stefan stepped up "Do you want to live in a town with these kind of evil!"
Half of the town's people said "No!"
The others said "You have no room to talk your just like them!"
The other said "You're the evil not them!"
Darcie stood up and felt the magic around her and yelled out causing fire to come around them "ENOUGH! YOU HAVE NO ROOM TO TALK! PEOPELE LISTEN UP I HAVE BEEN STAYING WITH BELLE AND THE ORIGINALS AND THEY ARE JUST LIKE US A FAMILY WHO LIVE AND EAT AND DO NORMAL THINGS! AND I CAN TELL YOU THIS THAT NONE OF THEM HAVE DONE ANYTHING TO THIS TOWN SO IF YOU GO AROUND PUTTING THE BLAME PUT IT ON THEM!" she said pointing to Stefan and Tyler.
Stefan was about to attack when Darcie starting chanting a spell and putting a barrier between the two and undid the spell on the originals and Belle and Caroline.
They all got up and Klaus said "Enough of this let's get started now Lockwood I believe punishment is in order," he turned to Lockwood and said "I do believe that being resired to do the trick for touching and causing harm to what is mine and my new sister-in-law."
People looked confused but where all agreeing that the originals had good attentions. Lockwood said "There is no way to resire me you're wasting your time and I will just break it again."
Klaus got that evil smirk on his face and pulled Caroline close to him "I got a witch here that can do that right now," he said nodding to Darcie to do the spell.
Darcie who was being held by Kol nodded and started to chant in latin and Tyler fell to his knees and Elijah turned to the towns people "Let this be a lesson to all of you, we are staying in this town and will make this place better for all and know this if anyone tries to attack us or touch Belle or Caroline or even Darcie or anyone is this family. There will be punishment."
Tyler was yelling on the floor in pain of being re sired. Elijah turned to his family pulling Belle as close as she could got and said "Let's got home," and he smiled at Belle "We also have a wedding to plan." He bent down and kissed her.
Belle smiled and turned to Stefan "I would listen brother don't miss with us...I wouldn't want anything to happen to you or Damon...good day brother."
Kol sighed and stomped his foot "I really wanted to..."
Elijah shushed him "Home brother not today."
They all left and Kol turned to Jeremy "Later mate maybe we can go play ball again."
Jeremy shrunk back but smiled at him. Belle was laying her head on Elijah and yawned "What a tiring day."
Elijah nodded "Yes my love I agree but were going to have a long week we have a weeding to plan for."
Klaus smirked and kissed Caroline "It was entertaining to see Lockwood on his knees and don't worry love that hybrid will never hurt you again."
Belle didn't hear the rest because she fell asleep and Elijah kissed her head and pulled her into his arms.
