They ate a little in silence, Pete looked at Baby with a smile. He's totally in awe with her way of handling situations. He fully understands why Johnny loves her so much. She's everything that he always dreamed of being himself. Baby looked at Johnny and sees his concerned face as he's thinking. She knows he's thinking about this situation, her hand went to push some hair back and he looked at her.

"It will be fine." She whispered, he inhaled a little bit and looked at his food. She laid her hand on his shoulder, making him sigh a little bit.
"I hope so Baby." He whispered. Catherine is watching them.
"You know him well." She said and Baby looked at her.
"I know him through and through. Penny does too, she told me that I'm the only one he has let fully in. Johnny has a hard time with trusting people." Baby said, Johnny kept looking down. How much he wanted to know his mother again, he's just scared that she will leave again and hurt everyone in the process.

"You're staying long in New York?" Pete asked as he looked at Catherine now. He stayed neutral with her. The love is gone, but that is gone since a while now.
"About two weeks. I'm actually looking for a place to live in New Jersey." She said as she looked at him.
"California not good enough anymore?" Pete asked in a teasing way. She chuckled a little. Baby watched them, she sees Catherine getting soft eyes when looking at him but she sees he's not moved. His face stays neutral. Johnny looked at Baby and sees her observing.

"California is amazing Pete. But I miss the east coast." She said and he only gave her a smile.
"Penny for your thought." Johnny whispered to Baby, she looked at him and smiled.
"Just observing a bit." She whispered and gave him a little kiss. He laid his forehead against her and closed his eyes. She smiled and laid her hands on the back of his neck. Her fingers playing with his hair while she looked at his face.

"You're still doing the same job?" Catherine asked.
"Yeah, it's the best I can do. I'm content." He said and took a bite from his burger.
"I'm so glad you're doing so well now dad. You deserve to be happy." Johnny said as he looked at his father now. Pete looked at him and smiled.
"Thanks son, I'm glad you woke me up. I'm trying to be a better person." He said.
"You already are." Baby said with a smile. Johnny is so amazed by Baby and her positivity she always radiates to other people.

"Thanks Baby, but I wasn't always." He said.

"Bad actions and bad decisions doesn't make a person a bad one. Sometimes we do the craziest things out of love." Baby said, Johnny gave her a kiss on her cheek.
"That's true Baby, but I did bad things to my son." Pete said, Catherine looked at him and then at Johnny and wondered what had happened. Johnny sees his mother looking at him.
"And he has forgiven you Pete. The past is the past." Baby said with a smile.

"So, Baby, what do you do in your life?" Catherine asked now, she's got curious about her.
"My school starts tomorrow." Baby said with a smile.
"What are you going to study?" She asked again. Johnny took a bite from his burger and ate in silent. Things were a little clearer now, yet he really needed a lot of time to fully accept his mother being in his life again.

"Economics and business management, here at the university of New York." Baby said with a smile as she ate some fries.
"What is your plan with it Baby?" Pete asked, she smiled at him.
"Johnny and I are going to try to put up a dance school when I'm finished with school." Baby said and Johnny smiled at her. He truly believes in this future plan. Pete looks at his son.
"You want this son?" He asked.
"It's always been my dream dad. Having my own dance school and having programs for the poor kids, giving them a future." He said.

"That makes me proud. You'll be getting famous with it." Pete said and Baby giggles.
"Penny said that too." Johnny said and smiled.
"What do you do in life Catherine?" Baby asked now. They look at her.
"I never really needed to work but I did volunteer work at the children's hospital in LA." She said and Baby smiled.
"Doing something good to the world starts in your own neighborhood." Baby said, Catherine smiled at Baby and nodded.

"You should take it as your slogan Baby." Johnny said and she looked at him.
"I might do that." She said and gives him a little kiss.
"I never asked, but how old are you Baby?" Catherine asked, Baby smiled as she took another bit from her burger.
"She's 16, almost 17." Johnny answered the question, she feeds him a fry and he chuckles.
"So young, are you sure you want this? I mean the pregnancy and getting married?" Catherine asked.

"She's very mature for her age Catherine. I support her and my son in everything they want to do." Pete said, Johnny looked at his father and smiled happily.
"That means so much dad. It really does." Johnny said, he's moved, very much so and he didn't know how to show that. Baby takes his hand and smiled.
"Thanks Pete, but I was naïve and still like a child before I met Johnny, he made me grow and he showed me how the world truly is outside. All I knew before was the wealthy world of my father, thinking it was a good world." Baby said and sipped her drink for a bit. She looks at Catherine directly now.

"That world is anything but good. They way they treat people who are not wealthy. I've seen that with my father at Kellerman's. He hated Johnny, because he thought that Johnny made Penny pregnant and then ran off with me. Johnny tried to tell him but he didn't want to listen. All Johnny wanted was being accepted by my father, and the one that got accepted was the one that had put Penny in the situation she was in." Baby looked at Johnny and he nods only at her, she takes his hand again and he entwines fingers with her.

"Penny was pregnant?" Pete asked, he was speechless.
"Yeah, she got pregnant from a waiter there. One that tried to get Baby's sister in his bed but eventually slept with another woman and got caught by Lisa." Johnny said, he didn't want to think about Robbie Gould anymore.
"She's still pregnant?" Catherine asked. Johnny looked at her.
"No, she had an abortion. At Kellerman's, but it almost went wrong. Thanks to Baby's father she survived." Johnny said and looked down.

"Your father is a great man." Catherine said as she looked at Baby.
"He is, and he finally came to accept Johnny and I'm happy about it. But it showed me how things go in this world. Things I do not like and Johnny showed me life and he still makes me grow every day and he loves me for who I am." Baby said and now looked at Johnny.
"And I love him for who he is, the most admirable, wonderful and sweetest man I've ever known." Johnny looked in her eyes and she gives him a kiss.

"When is the wedding?" Pete asked curiously.
"Somewhere in spring probably." Johnny answered and Baby looked at him now.
"But I'm due in May probably, isn't spring too late?" She asked, he looks at her and smiled.
"I was thinking of March, you told your father you would love to have the wedding at Kellerman's. I want to give you the best day of your life and if it means it's at Kellerman's, then so be it." Johnny said and gives her a kiss.

"You can arrange Kellerman's?" She asked curiously.
"No, but you father will try with Max. When I told him about your wish, and I told him that this time of year it's way too cold at the mountain. He came with the idea of spring. You only have to give your father your word." Johnny explained. Baby grabbed his head and kissed him, he kissed her back.
"I love you so much." Baby whispered and he kissed her again.
