Iris sighed as she starred out at the window. She doesn't know what to do about the kids who are targeting him. The school nurse said he's able to go back to classes now. So now that he's not in the watchful eye of the staff anymore, he could easily get attacked again. It tears at her heart strings just seeing him all bruised up in the hospital bed, but what if next time he ends up dead? She teared up at the thought. But she wondered if since now that Cilan was aware that people are coming to hurt him, that maybe he'll be more prepared next time?

It was lunch time, and Max was looking around for Bonnie. He didn't comb his hair, and had some hat on, and he wasn't wearing his glasses so he couldn't see very well. Though he believes he found her. So he ran up to who he thought was Bonnie.
"Hey Bonnie! Like the new look?" Max said. Then Max winked at the person. But there was no response.
"I see. So stunned by my new looks, I left you speechless, huh?"
"Are you high, kid?" a male voice responded.
Max gasped. "Y-you're not Bonnie!" he shouted.
Ash walked up to him. "… Yeah. His name is Trip."
Trip walked away with annoyed look.
Max hid his face in embarrassment. "Oh man. How stupid. Please tell me Bonnie didn't see…"
Ash looked around. "I don't see her, so I guess not."
"Oh good."
"Let's go to the cafeteria! She should be heading there!"
"Right."

They headed into the cafeteria and a lot of people were around.
"Do you see Bonnie anywhere?" Max asked.
Ash looked around. Then he spotted her. "There she is! Hey Bonnie!"
"A-Ash? Just what do I say?" Max asked.
Ash crossed his arms with a frown. "… Nothing?"
"What?"
"Well, it's not like I asked girls to go out with me, to like me…."
Max sighed.
Gary then came by ash. "Hey Ashie there you are! I need to talk to you for a moment!" He then pulled him away.
"W-what? Wait!" Ash tried to say.
"Hey Ash! Don't leave me!" Max shouted. But it was too late, as they already left. "Bonnie! Are you still there? Bonnie!" Max screamed as loud as he could.
Bonnie was sitting down already eating, when she heard someone screaming her name. "… Should I respond?" she wondered with a worried look. "What is it?" she screamed back.
"Where are you?"
"…Sitting at a table."
"Which table?"
"… Over here?"
"Can you be more specific?"
Bonnie sighed. She looked around at her surroundings. "The second row of tables from the stairs, fifth one down."
"…Where am I at?"
"I don't know!" Bonnie irritably shouted.

Gary pulled him away from the crowds and towards a field where they were by themselves. Then he pulled out lunch he got that his grandpa has been giving him, and gave some to Ash before he could say anything.
"Wow, this is way better than the lunch the school gives out!" Ash commented after he took a big bite of a sandwich.
"Of course, it's pretty easy to find better food, than that garbage the school gives us!" Gary said.
"So, you needed to talk about something, Gary?" Ash asked.
"Yeah, did you see the information about the upcoming dance?"
"Not really… I just shoved it in my bag and didn't really look at it. Don't tell me you're interested in going?"
Gary sighed irritably. "Normally, I wouldn't care about things like this. But would if you would read the paper, you may see the problem here!"
"Alright…" Ash shuffled through his bag for a bit, before he found the crumpled up piece of paper. "Let's see… There's a dance on Valentine's Day, find that special someone, food and drink…"
"To get to the point ash, they are basically allowing only straight couples!"
"Oh. Well, good thing we don't care about going." Ash shoved the paper back into his cluttered bag.
"I think we should go. You know, to crash the dance!"
Ash gave him a confused look. "Why should we do that?"
"Look Ash, I think grandpa did this on purpose, since he thinks we shouldn't be together!"
"…He said that?"
"With him not allowing us to go to the dance together, I'd take that as he did say that!"
Ash looked down with a frown. "I guess that makes sense. And I thought he liked me…"
"So Ash, what do you say?"
"… Alright." Ash looked back up at Gary. "But, how do we both get in?"

Iris walked out of school and was about to get on the bus, when she saw a group of kids. In the middle she noticed Cilan. One guy went up to shove him in the ground. They all started to come up to kick him, till Iris shouted, "stop!" She ran into the middle of the group and stood in front of Cilan with her arms up. "Leave him alone! He's the kindest, funniest, smartest, guy out there, and doesn't deserve this! You want to hit someone, hit me! Come on, you assholes!"
Cilan opened his eyes and looked at her. "Iris…" he quietly said.
They all started to walk up to her while cracking their knuckles.
"You little brats better stop where you are at, or you all are going to have the worst after school detention with me!" Lt. Surge said.
All the kids froze in their tracks.
"Now you all march your butts in the bus, and don't cause any trouble!"
The group ran on the buses.
Iris held a hand out to Cilan to help him up, and they both went on the bus.

Iris and Cilan sat together on the bus, and it started to drive back to the dorms.
"It's a good thing I asked him for help," Cilan said.
"Yeah!" Iris said. She stared at him with a big smile, glad they are both okay. Cilan really does know what he was doing after all.
"And thanks for helping me out there too! By the way, do you really think that way about me?"
"What?"
"You know, about being smart and kind and funny?"
Iris blushed and looked away. "W-well…"
"Because I thought I'd never get the chance to hear such wonderful comments such as those from a strong, fun, brave woman such as yourself!"
"W-well consider yourself lucky!"
Cilan smiled. "Would I be pressing my luck to think that you'd go to the dance with me again?"
"I might be feeling nice enough to accept your offer."

Ash helped Max find Bonnie and Max sat next to her as Ash and Gary sat somewhere else.
Bonnie looked at Max with a weird look. "Where's your glasses? And what's with your hair?"
"Oh, I'm just trying a new look! You like it?" Max asked.
"It's… different."
"I know, right?"
"Anyways Max… I've been wanting to ask you something."
"What is it Bonnie?"
"Well, you heard about the dance, right?"
"Yeah…"
"Well, I was wondering if you like to go together, just to check it out?"
"Yes! I mean, sure!"
She smiled. "Alright!"
"Ash sure is a genius!"
"…What?"
Max nervously laughed. "Oh nothing."
"Anyways, if you don't mind me saying… I think your old look suited you a lot better Max."
"Wait! So… you wanted to go with me before I changed looks?"
"Well, yeah."
"Oh…"

Cheren and Bianca where outside trying to figure out who has been getting her into trouble.
"So Bianca, does anyone around you act suspicious around you?" Cheren asked.
Bianca thought a bit. "Not that I know of."
"No one leers at you, or just randomly laugh at you? And you don't notice anyone following you?"
"No…"
Cheren crosses his arms with a frown. "With no leads, how am I going to catch whoever is doing this in time," he wondered.
Bianca leaned up against him. "I'm sorry. Maybe if I was more observant… we could've found the person by now, and we'd be able to go to the dance."
Cheren wrapped an arm around her. "Don't worry Bianca. I'm not ready to quit just yet. I know we can find out who's doing this to you."
Bianca narrowed her eyes with a frown.
"And just because the person is a jerk, doesn't mean we should let them get us down." Cheren stood up and held out a hand towards Bianca. "How about we go to a movie tonight?"
Bianca looked up towards him with a big smile and grabbed his hand. "Sounds great! Thanks Cheren." Cheren sure knows how to cheer Bianca up. It made her not even care about going to the dance. As long as she got Cheren, her day is always the best. Sometimes he can be a pain, but she loves him anyways. He always is just so calm and smart. Bianca feels so lucky to have him in her life.
