Three Days Later

RPOV

A very loud, obnoxious banging on the door jerked me out of the wedding nightmare I'd been having. I was grateful and annoyed at the same time.

Another knock. "I don't care if you're decent or not, I'm coming in!"

I recognized my aunt's voice before she barreled into her own room room. She'd made Jacob sleep in the recovery room away from me, stating we had to stick to the tradition of not seeing each other on the day of the wedding.

And then it hit me.

Oh. My. God.

The wedding.

I was getting married today.

Grinning like the Cheshire cat, I flung the covers off me to hop up in front of my aunt. She looked surprised for a moment before smiling and pulling me into a tight hug. I hugged her back hard.

"How's Jacob? He didn't have any problems last night?"

"Other than being ticked with me, he's perfectly fine. I sent him up to the cabin." She held up a hand. "Don't worry. He's with an army of wolves. He's gonna spend the day with the boys."

Grinning again, I liked the idea of Jacob having a day with the boys. Come to think of it, he should do that more often. Poker nights or working on cars. I'd be sure to say something later. But right now, I was too excited.

"So, am I getting ready up here or down at the rez?"

Aunt Alice had found a perfect little meadow in the woods that edged First Beach. She'd spent weeks looking for the perfect spot where her favorite niece would make her vows, or so she'd told me.

"We're going to bedazzle you up here. Edward will drive you down so that you can have some father/daughter alone time before he hands you off."

I hugged her again. "Thank you so much, Aunt Alice. No matter what it's gonna be beautiful."

Pulling back, she studied me, hands cupping my cheeks. "My gorgeous baby niece is getting married today." She sniffed as if she were going to cry. If she'd been human, that's what I would have expected. Flinging herself on me once more, she sobbed, "I just can't handle it!"

Laughing and tearing up, I rubbed her back. "I know what you mean. I almost can't believe it myself."

"Me either."

The voice brought my eyes to the door where my mother stood, grinning at us. Even as a human, I was told she wasn't much of a cryer. But today? She looked like Aunt Alice, who disengaged from me with another sob. Momma wrapped me up in her arms, squeezing tightly.

"You are a miracle to this family, and we all love you so very much."

Squeezing my eyes shut so that the tears wouldn't betray me, I whispered, "I love you, too, Momma. All of you. You guys are the greatest family a girl could ask for. I wouldn't trade this for anything."

"Amen to that. The Cullens rock!"

Laughing, I let my mother go to find Shelby in the doorway. Ever since I'd figured out about the baby she hadn't been trying to hide it. In her close-fitting tank and maternity jeans, she looked as if the baby had grown another month within the past week. I held my arms out to her. She quealed her way into my embrace.

"Oh my god, I am so excited for you! And I get to stand in the front row! I cannot wait to see Jacob's face, Ness. Your dress is Ah-may-zing."

"It's finished?"

She nodded. "Esme just put the last touches on it. She's putting it back in the bag as we speak. I can't wait to see you in it. It will match you perfectly."

"I wanna see it," I begged Aunt Alice.

She shook her head, but it was Aunt Rose who answered. She'd appeared behind Shelby.

"Sorry, babe, but you need a shower first, because as soon as you see it, you'll want to be in it. And we let you sleep in, so you still need to eat breakfast/lunch, shower, dry your hair, do your hair, and get you dressed with make-up. The make-up will be the hardest. Crying will do that to you."

Shelby moved so that I could hug my other aunt. Her hand moved down my back over my knotted up hair. "I'm so happy for you, Nessie. Jacob is a good man. And I am sorry for how I treated him before. You were right all along."

"It's ok, Aunt Rose. It's in the past. Today we're all about the future. Besides, Jacob forgave you the moment you apologized. We're family. Forgiveness is what we do." I pulled back to face everyone. "Alright, so I'm gonna go hop in the shower, and then we can get started!"

Aunt Alice shoved a black bag at me. "Here, put this on when you get out. No need to dress normally when we'll just strip you out of it."

Eyebrows raised, I took the bag gingerly. I was almost scared to see what was inside, but I figured, what the hell. I was getting married!

It wasn't until I was in the shower, water pouring down my back, that the nerves hit me. But I couldn't figure out why. Jacob and I were soul mates. We'd already consummated our relationship. This was just public ceremony to repeat what we all knew. Jacob would be there waiting for me in his tux with Seth and Paul standing with him.

Get it together, Ness. Everything is going to be ok. Jacob loves you and you love him. Hell, in the animal kingdom, you're already married.

Taking deep breaths, that last thought calmed me. My inside voice was right. This wedding was just going to be a human version of our union...and less sexual.

When I got out of the shower, I was squeaky clean and calm once more. Then it was time to get dressed. I eyed the black bag. kneeling down and unzipping it like something was going to pop out to bite me, I opened it to reveal a lot of white. I dug my hand into the fabric. The silk slid against my skin.

Excitedly and nervously, I pulled it out. The top garment was a long silk robe. Holding it to my face, I luxuriated in the coolness against my skin. The labels were embroidered with black vines and red roses. On the left side, over my heart in red, was:

Mrs. Nessie Black

Giggling, I ran my forefinger over my new name over and over. But I couldn't stay here all day. I had to go to the ceremony. Digging into the bag again, I pulled out a white, lacy, strapless bra. The cups of it were solid with dainty red lace covering them. Strapless. To go under my dress. Hmmm, a hint. The next garment to come out was a pair of tasteful yet sexy pair of bikini cut white panties to match. Both the bra and panties had red designs sewn throughout. I realized it was to represent the passion that Jacob and I had already shared. Pure white was for a virgin, but I wasn't anymore. Traditional with non-traditional. I liked it.

There was a soft knock on the door. "Ness?" Mom called. "We need to get your hair dried, sweetie."

"Ok, give me just a sec." Quickly, I tied my hair up into the towel, hoping it would help. Then I slipped into the underwear that Aunt Alice had given me. Turned out the bra was a push up. After tying the sash on the robe, I stepped out into the hallway.

Mom traced my name the same way I had. "It suits you, but you will always be a Cullen."

"Of course. There's no way to deny that."

She wrapped her arm around my shoulders. "Come on. Let's get you ready to be a Mrs."

Both of us grinning and giggling like school girls, she led me down the hallway.

JPOV

Nessie. She was all I could think about. Even sitting at our dining room table with all the guys, including the Cullen men, playing poker and talking about our women, I could not get her off my mind. What was she doing? Without her at my side last night, I had gotten maybe an hour of sleep. I'd practiced talking, getting ready for my big debut back. Nobody other than Carlisle and Edward knew that I was getting my voice back, so my first words being my vow to Nessie would be more of a declaration than anything.

Edward clapped a hand on my shoulder. He raised a glass that I knew was filled with mountain lion blood. "Everybody, can I have your attention?" When everybody quieted and turned toward us, he grinned. "As his future father-in-law, I would like to make a toast to Jacob." Glasses raised all around the table. "There are plenty of things to say about him. Fiercely loyal, utterly trustworthy, and inherently warm-hearted, he has earned my respect as a man and as a son. We've fought together, though for different reasons, for the same causes. Over this past year, seeing him grow into the man I knew he could be, the alpha I'd always seen in him, I am proud to call him family, to call him my son-in-law. And I know, without threat or doubt, that he will take care of my daughter through the rest of their days. And may those days be full of joy, honesty, loyalty, and love."

"Hear, hear!" the room cheered out. Glasses clinked, various liquids sloshing everywhere.

Thank you, I wrote on the dry erase board at my elbow.

Edward nodded with a smile and sat down beside me. "Nervous?"

I shook my head. Not really. I just really want to see her, to put my arms around her. I've been waiting for this my entire life, Edward. You know I'll do my best by her.

"I know. And I meant every word I just said. We've been through a lot together, not just the battles and the Volturi, but the personal stuff. I'm just happy that things have worked out for the best. I suppose that when I told you that I owed you for taking care of Bella during those months I was gone, this was my payment. My daughter is one of the two most precious things in my life, and I am about to give you her hand for safe keeping."

And it's the best payment I could have ever asked for. She's my everything. For now, the single most precious thing in my life. But hopefully, someday, that will change to include her children.

Edward chuckled. "I think I can wait for that day. I am extraordinarily not ready to be a grandfather."

Understanding his meaning, I laughed with him. After a moment, I held my hand out to him. He took it, pulling me to him. We clapped each other's shoulders, and that was the end of our emotional guy moment.

Why don't we head down to the meadow? They probably need help and I need to move around. It's another two hours. I can take a shower at the community center on the rez.

Edward nodded. "Sure, but-,"

Don't overdo it, I know.

Chuckling, he told the other guys the plan. Seth grabbed my garment bag as well has his. Before we could make it out the door, there was a knock on it.

"Alice," Edward said.

I went to open it.

Alice was indeed there. She had a happy grin across her lips as she handed me an envelope.

"A letter from your bride."

For a moment, I just stared at it. And then I remembered that I'd been told to write one, too. I'd left it on the mantle. Grabbing it, we did a hand off.

"He says thanks," Edward offered up for me. I nodded.

"You're very welcome." A moment passed before she choked up and flung herself on me. "Ugh, I'm so glad I'm not human. I'd have ruined my make-up a thousand times already. But I love you, Jake. Congrats!"

And then she scampered off.

Edward and I shared a glance and a chuckle.

"We'll let you have a minute to read it. Come on, boys."

I'll meet you down there.

One last nod and everybody else filed out behind him. Once they were gone, well, except for my bodyguards who stayed on the porch, I closed and locked the door. Picking the couch and the fireplace to read the letter, I sank down on the couch. My hand trembled as I carefully opened the envelope. She'd kissed the back of it wearing bright red lipstick. I laughed as I took out the letter. She wasn't girly but Hallmark moments got the best of her on occasion. This was an occasion.

Dearest Jacob:

I know this is supposed to be sweet and romantic but all I can think is: holy crap, we're getting married!

But in all seriousness, I was nervous, just for a moment today, but it's gone now. Love. Really, how do I explain what I feel for you? All I can do is tell you all the things about you that make my life worth it. You keep the nightmares away. You keep me warm. My heart flutters whenever you touch me whether you meant to or not. Millions of butterflies still erupt in my heart and soul whenever I hear your voice and know you're near.

Those days that you spent away from me, trapped in your own head, were the loneliest I've ever known. Living without you was not an option, so I had no choice but to believe you'd come back to me. And here we are! Though we're separated right now due to "tradition" and we had to give up our rings last night, I've been keeping my favorite picture of us in my pocket all day.

I know with every fiber of my being that I am who I am because of you, of your love, and the pieces of yourself that you've given to me. I've put those pieces through hell a few times, but never again. I now realize how precious they really are, and I will lock them away inside of me.

In short, I believe that fate worked hard in getting us here. So much pain that mistress caused you with my mother, but now we know why, don't we? I hadn't come to you yet. Every part of me was made specifically for you. I don't know if you feel the same for me, but I don't care. I am where I want and need to be. Both of us will always need someone to protect us. And I believe we are that for each other, protecting in different ways. You're my knight in russet fur, my hero, and I truly wouldn't have it any other way.

I love you. Now, tomorrow, and forever.

Forever Yours,

Nessie

Clearing my throat multiple times, I folded the letter and carefully placed it back in the envelope. And then thought, aw hell. I'm alone. The tears came, just a few, but there they were.

How I had ever lived without her before her birth, I had no idea. Looking back, it was as if everything was hazy, nothing in focus. But after she'd come, and I imprinted, the world became blindingly clear. All the suffering, fights, heartbreak became a timeline of events all leading to her creation and my pull to her. The same was to be said for after her birth. The waiting, phases, fights, different types of love all led to us being here. Separated but still together, we were waiting for the moment that our vows were spoken, not just as a promise to each other and the public announcement that we were mated, but to let fate and the universe know that they had succeeded in their task. For some reason, the two had worked hard together to give me Nessie, to give me a reason to live, to want to live. And all that I had, that I was, had become hers the first moment we made eye contact on the night of her birth.

Wiping my eyes, clearing my throat, I placed the letter on the mantle next to a framed picture of the two of us at Rachel's wedding. It was a candid, but one of our favorites. Pressing my fingers to my lips, I kissed them, then pressed them to the picture.

That would be us again. Only this time, she'd be in a wedding gown.

And my wife.

RPOV

Aunt Alice flashed into the room just as Aunt Rose was about to put on my eyeliner.

"Don't, Rose. Jacob wrote her a letter. If you put her make up on first we'll have start all over again, and we don't have time for that."

Aunt Rose had just finished with my hair, and was worrying over it. She felt as if it was too much and Jacob wouldn't like it.

"Aunt Rose, I love my hair. It looks beautiful. If Jacob doesn't like it, then he can get over it. I love it because you did it, and it looks amazing," I said as I took the envelope from my other aunt.

"She's right, Rosalie," Shelby said. "Those curls are going to make Jacob drop on the spot." She was in her own version of my robe. Only hers said Maid of Honor across it and was emerald green. All she needed to be finished was to shimmy into her dress and put her heels on, which had been shortened due to her growing bump and lessening sense of balance.

"I sure hope not," I mumbled.

Aunt Alice went into motion. "Alright, ladies, let's give Ness a moment to read the letter. It's already twelve forty-five."

They each gave me a smile as they moved out of the room, laughing and talking loudly.

Biting my lip, I opened the letter to find Jacob's messy scrawl.

Nessie,

What a day, huh? Actually, I'm writing this last night so I have no idea what today is going to be like. I'm probably having a serious conversation with your dad at some point. Or reading your letter. But I can tell you what I do know: I'm wondering what you're doing and how beautiful you're going to be walking down the aisle. You're always beautiful, but this one will be for the books.

In all honesty, I can't really put into words what you mean to me or how much I love you. All I know is that life really wasn't worth living before you came along. Sure the way you got here was rough and complicated, but you made it, and things evened out. I suppose they knew what they were talking about when they said that the night is always darkest just before the dawn. Because believe me, it was pretty dark. But then you looked at me, straight through to my soul, and nothing mattered. I knew everything would work out. It had to. There are tough times still ahead of us, but I promised you not to think about all of that until we got to it. I'll keep the promise but only because I know you'll be there with me to help get us through it.

You know, being alpha scared me. When Bella was pregnant with you, and things went wrong with the pack, I knew I had to separate from Sam, but it was so terrifying. I did it anyway, and I am glad I did. When I imprinted on you, I knew I had to be alpha, to do anything it took to protect you. I wasn't scared anymore. I was determined. That's the best thing, you know, what you do to me. You make me better. You make me want to be better every single day. No decision gets made without a thought for you, what's safest for you and what you would want. You challenge me in every way to be a better man, and I couldn't ask for anything better.

A man who strives to be the best he can not just for himself or his mate, but for everybody, is a man truly in love. He's a man whose heart has been touched by kindness and understanding, and wants to spread that to others, to take care of others. In some way everyone has taken care of another person. To be able to see those that have done that for me because you opened my eyes is the greatest gift you have given me as a person. But as a man, and your lover, the greatest gift I have ever been given, is you. Your heart and soul are pure. You care for others before yourself. You try your hardest to be fair, to make things right, and not judge.

I love you, Nessie. I love how much you teach me. At first, I was nervous about you giving yourself to me. That I wouldn't turn out to be the man that you wanted or needed. I didn't trust myself. But even though you saw that, you shared your own trust in me until mine built up.

I owe you so much. And I will strive until my dying breath to pay back that debt. Now and forever. If it weren't for you, I would still be trapped in my head. It was you I followed back into consciousness. Your voice, your warmth. It was you who brought me back. And starting today, once I say those two words, I will be a new man, a man who has given everything he is and ever will be, to one woman in front of all those I hold dear. You're it for me. No matter what happens, you're my forever.

I love you.

Jacob

By the time I was done, tears smudged the pen strokes of Jacob's letter. Aunt Alice had been right. They would have had to redo my make up. Pulling out the picture in my pocket, I kissed his face where it smiled up at me.

A soft knock came at the door. "Nessie? We need to do your make-up and get you into your dress. Edward will be here soon to change"

Taking a deep, shaky breath, I put the picture back into the pocket with the envelope. "Come in."

When my aunt saw my face, her expression softened. While she and Aunt Rose cleaned me up and started with the "bedazzling", Mom came up behind me with a box in her hand.

"I thought you might like to wear this. It was your great-grandmother's and I wore it when I married your father."

"What is it?"

She came to stand in front of me but to the side so I could see when she opened the box. It was a comb. My eyes watered again, but I held back the tears by widening my eyes and blinking fast.

"Of course I'll wear it."

"It doesn't match the dress," Aunt Alice said. "However, this time, I don't mind."

While Mom went to work putting the comb in my hair, my aunts went to work on my face.

"Bella?"

Opening my eyes, I saw my grandmother in the doorway.

"Esme! Where have you been?" Mom asked.

Esme looked like she'd be flushing if she could. "Oh, just digging up and old heirloom. It was my grandmother's. She gave to me just before she died as was tradition, but I was hoping to start a new one. That is, if you don't mind that Nessie wears it. It matches the comb."

"What is it?" we all asked in unison.

She chuckled and came in the room. The closer she got, I could see that she, too, had a box in her hand. Only it was bigger, like to display an expensive necklace. Like Mom, she came to stand in front of me to open it. I'm pretty sure we all gasped.

Inside on the velvet was an oval locket set with sapphires. It had designs wrapping around the metal. The pendant was about the length of my thumb.

"Oh, Grandma! It's beautiful!"

She smiled as she took it out. Before coming to stand behind me, she looked to Mom, who nodded.

Unhooking it, she lowered it in front of my face so it rested on my chest while she hooked it back under my hair. "I had the pictures in changed."

The chain was just long enough that I could pull out the locket and open it. Inside were two pictures of me and Esme together. One was when I was smaller. We were rubbing our noses together, hers crinkled as she laughed. The other picture was a recent one, and we were posing for the picture. I remembered that day. We'd been cooking. Flour had gotten everywhere and we hadn't been able to stop laughing.

Again, I teared up, but held it back because Aunt Rose was moving in with the eyeliner.

"I love it, Grandma. Do I have to give it to a granddaughter or could I give it to my daughter?"

She smiled. "Whichever you choose, dear. As long as it's with love, I don't mind."

"Look up," Aunt Rose commanded. I did as she asked when she told me to move from here to there.

Eventually my make-up was done, and they moved out of the way of the mirror. Gasping at my reflection, I stood up from the chair to press fingers to the glass. The colors were subtle, even the new lipstick, but my eyes popped from the black ring around them and mascara. My hair was down yet small strands of it had been braided in an intricate design. Behind me, Momma came up to place the comb of the veil into my hair, further adding to my growing ensemble.

She gripped my shoulders. "Let's go get you into your dress," she whispered.

Just minutes later, I was staring at the rather large garment bag, ready for the debut of Aunt Alice's masterpiece.

"You ready?" she asked, fingers on the zipper.

I nodded, but swallowed loudly.

She unzipped it without torturing me, and I finally got to look at my wedding dress.

It was the most gorgeous piece of clothing I'd ever seen in my life.

It was indeed strapless. The midsection was corseted with the same dainty red lace of the bra with little black beads worked in. The beads were done in a design and it took a moment to realize they were tiger lillies, my favorite flower. It was confirmed as my eyes found the tiger lilly pendant at the waist, where it cinched up the side of the full-bodied skirts. Black designs were embroidered around the hem at the bottom. Not even remotely close to a traditional wedding dress, but I didn't care. I was madly in love with it.

"Aunt Alice," I whispered. "You have seriously outdone yourself."

"Well, I'm betting it'll look better on. We don't have much time. Edward is on his way here right now. He'll be ready before you will, but we need to get you into the dress before he gets here."

I nodded as she took my dress off the hanger.

"Take the robe off."

"What?"

"Take it off. You can't get the dress on with it where it is." When I hesitated, she sighed. "Nessie, we've seen it all before. Nothing has changed. Why do you think I went tame on the panties? I knew we'd be seeing you, so...chop, chop."

Taking a deep breath, I took off the robe. It slid over my skin smoothly. Aunt Alice held the dress down and I stepped in. As she pulled it up over my body, I felt the world changing. Or at least, my life. This was it. I was a bride.

The white two inch heels came next.

"Oh, Renesmee," Mom said with a gasp, her hands over her mouth. "Absolutely resplendent!"

Aunt Alice stepped between us. "Nope. No crying. Now we need to get into our dresses and skedaddle. Edward's pulling on his tux. Jacob should be ready. And Shelby has to drive down."

"I'll drive her," Esme said, going for the stairs.

They all followed her lead, leaving me alone with my reflection in the large picture window. Never seeing myself like this before, not even in my dreams, I looked like a princess. Shockingly, the blue of the locket and comb didn't clash with the white and red of the dress. It was just dark enough to blend in.

A few minutes passed before the girls came back down. Shelby wore a strapless, eggplant purple dress that fell to her feet. She had her bouquet in one hand, and mine in the other. More tiger lillies. She came over to hug me before Aunt Alice shoved her out the door. They all left with the sound of a car pulling down the drive.

Again, I was alone.

"Renesmee."

Turning, I found my father on the bottom step. He was in a sharp tux, hair combed to the side, smile in place. I ran to him.

"Daddy," I whispered against his chest.

He hugged me, rocking me against him, his cheek resting on my head. "Baby girl, everything is ok. Jacob is waiting for you. And you are the loveliest vision I have ever seen."

"Is it time?" I asked as I pulled away from him.

He nodded. "It's time."

Swallowing hard, I let him lead me to the car.

JPOV

I let Billy tie my bow tie while I sat down on a bench in the community center's locker rooms. I checked his watch while he worked.

1:45.

Fifteen minutes before everything was supposed to start. I needed to be at the front in ten minutes. Alice was nothing if not punctual.

"Breathe, Jake."

I nodded.

"You sure you're up for this? Talking is still rough for you."

I'm good, I mouthed.

"Alright. If you say so, I believe you."

"Jacob! What are you doing in here?"

Looking over Billy's head, I found Rebecca and Rachel standing there in their dresses and heels. Henry left his mother's side to run to me. Hefting him into my arms, I stood up, swinging him with me.

"Come on, son," Billy said. "Let's go get you married."

Moments later, it seemed, I was standing at the front of the meadow with the priest. He smiled comfortingly at me as I adjusted my jacket. When the intro music started up, I jumped. The meadow was done is soft lights over the guests, brighter lights shining indirectly from the trees. The dirt had been packed down so that no heels sank into the ground. Alice had used fallen logs to create natural benches instead of using chairs. Red, black, and white were the colors that kept popping up in the accents.

Seth patted my shoulder. "Relax, man. It'll be over before you know it. You'll be out of the monkey suit and in her arms. Just imagine what she looks like all prettied up for you."

I did what he suggested. Surprisingly, it helped. The entire pack was there, seated on the log benches, as well as most of the rez. The families sat up at the front as was custom. Henry kept trying to run to me from the back, but he was the ring bearer, so he had to wait for the ceremony to start. Claire was the flower girl and dressed in crimson.

When Alice walked down to her seat, she nodded at me. In the distance, I heard two doors close. She was here.

I was more than ready to put my eyes on her again. I'd missed her all day.

The official music sounded off, and I straightened up. Henry practically ran down the aisle with the pillow and everybody laughed. Next was Claire. She threw her flower petals with a huge grin. When she was done, she stood in front of me and demanded that I bend down so she could kiss my cheek. Again, everybody laughed. The bridesmaids came next, lining up on Nessie's side.

I straightened up when the wedding march started queuing everyone else to stand up. Closing my eyes, I took a deep breath.

Seth nudged my elbow.

I opened my eyes...and stopped breathing.

Nessie and Edward were standing at the opposite end of the aisle. My eyes were glued to her. Everything else just fell away as she started walking, in step, with her father.

The dress wasn't traditional, and suited her beautifully. Red, black, and white morphed together to encase her in a soul-shattering sheath. She wore it like a queen, but humbly. The veil covered her face, but I could see her eyes shine through. They shone with endless love, happiness, and her own tears.

As we held stares, I had to fight to hold back my own tears of joy. She was the most extraordinary angel on this planet...and she was mine.

It didn't take as long as I thought it would for them to reach me. Edward held her hand out to me. I took it, kissed her knuckles, then helped her up the couple of stone steps.

The preacher did his thing while I moved the veil from over her face. She was trying not cry, her eyes bright and shiny. I cupped her cheek, a touch that she leaned into.

I love you, I mouthed.

And I love you, she mouthed back.

Everything was drowned out even though I knew I needed to be paying attention. I just couldn't help but stare at her, my life, my soul. Everything I was, was right here in front of me, wrapped up like the greatest present ever. She was my armor, the thing that protected me the most from the world, from myself.

"Jacob, if you would please place the ring on Renesmee's finger."

Taking my mother's ring from him, I did as he told me. Shockingly, I wasn't shaking. My hand was as steady as my feet on the ground.

"Jacob Black, do you take this woman to be your wife for now and always?"

This was it. My moment.

A look of sorrow passed over her features.

I grinned.

Straightening up, I said the two words I'd been waiting to say all day, loud and clear.

"I do."

In surprise, her eyes found mine once more, tears filling them. A rustle ran through the crowd as well. Still grinning, I slid the finger further onto her finger, and then gripped her hand in mine.

"Renesmee, if you would please place the ring on Jacob's finger."

With a shaking hand, she took my ring, positioning it at the tip of my finger.

"Renesmee Cullen, do you take this man to be your husband for now and always?"

She was fighting tears and her emotions, so her voice was shaky, but loud enough for everyone to hear her.

"I do."

And she slid the ring onto my finger.

"With that, I now pronounce you husband and wife." He looked to me. "Jacob, you may now kiss your bride."

We reached for each other at the same time, my hands cupping her face, her hands on my shoulders.

We met in the middle with the cheers of our friends and families echoing in our ears.

"I love you so much, Nessie."

"I love you, too, Jacob. So much."

The preacher stepped back with a gesture to us. "Ladies and gentlemen, I am honored to present to you...Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Black."

The crowd erupted as I picked up my wife around her waist to twirl her around, her arms around my neck.

Our eyes never lost connection as our mouths met once more.

The perfect end to the perfect day.

The End.

Soooooo? I know that you were expecting everything to be through Nessie's POV, however, too often the actual wedding is through the woman's view. I didn't want that. This time, Nessie was the supporting character. See, the man doesn't really care about the decorations. He just wants his woman, and that was easier to write than mapping out another woman's dream wedding. But I did get the dress, which, how I imagine it, is AWESOME! But anywhozzle, again, thank you! Hopefully the first chapter of the next installment will be here within a couple days. Please don't forget to review. I love them. They're my heroine. I swear it. Love you! xoxoxoxo
