With the next day of the games about to begin, Mary and Bert stood in front of Muppet Studios in Hollywood Studios.
"Morning, gents! Bert here along with the lady who never met an umbrella she didn't like, Ms. Mary Poppins. Eleven days have gone by and the competition has been absolutely sizzling and as day 12 gets underway, it can only get better," said Bert.
"I couldn't have said it better myself. And just like yesterday we will have two events, this time taking place in EPCOT. But before we get to the events, we have some very special guests with us today. Please join me in welcoming Kermit the Frog, Ms. Piggy, Gonzo, and Fozzy Bear; the Muppets," said Mary.
Bert and Mary shook hands with the four Muppets before they interviewed them.
"Glad to have you with us," said Bert.
"Glad to be here," said Kermit.
Ms. Piggy did her best pose for the camera.
"Hi, mom! I'm on TV!" said Gonzo.
"Me too! Me too!" said Fozzy.
"So gentlemen...and lady, who are you rooting for in the games?" asked Mary.
"Well, I know they haven't been doing too well, but I'm going for Team Princess. I think they still have a chance and can make a great comeback, plus Tiana was once a frog and I'm, so..." said Kermit.
Gonzo was next. "My pick is Team Fairy. They have a great team and they know have the lead. I think they'll make it all the way," he said.
Next was Fozzy. "As for me, I think I'll go with...Team Jungle. I mean, they've got a bear on their team and you can't go wrong with that! You might say they've got the 'bear' essentials, nuck, nuck, nuck!" he said.
Fozzy's joke received a collective groan from Mary, Bert, and the other Muppets.
"What about you, Ms. Piggy? Who's your pick to win?" asked Bert.
"Well what I wanna know is why wasn't I picked to compete?! I'm the most athletic pig you'll find anywhere! Watch this!" Piggy said before she did a series of karate moves, inadvertently hitting Gonzo in his lower region.
"Ooh, right smack in the todger!" said Bert.
Mary turned to the camera as Gonzo fell to the floor and Piggy continued with her moves. "Well um...while we wait for Mr. Gonzo to pick himself up, let's go to Ludwig at EPCOT for our first event of the day," she said.
At EPCOT, Ludwig was in the United Kingdom part, dressed in a red suit, a red top hat, and a monocle.
"Thank you, Ms. Poppins and boy, that Gonzo is gonna need a big ice pack, that's for sure. Well for the first of our event here in EPCOT, we stepping on the court and getting our rackets ready for some good ole fashion tennis," said Ludwig.
Tennis
Two teams of two, consisting of one member from each team, will compete in tennis. The games will be best two out of three in a tournament for format. The winning team of the tournament will them face each other in a final round match.

The competitors, in their tennis outfits, came onto the court.
"Representing Team Princess, Tiana! Representing Team Prince, Naveen! Representing Team Flyer, Wilbur! Representing Team Hundred Acre Wood, Tigger! Representing Team Mowgli! Representing Team Agrabah, Genie! Representing Team Neverland, John! Representing Team Rodent, Basil! Representing Team Rover, Tito! Representing Team Beast, Belle! Representing Team Dwarf, Grumpy! Representing Team Pixar, Ms. Incredible! Representing Team Fairy, Chloe! Representing Team Hawaii, Nani! Representing Team China, Mulan! Representing Team Kitty, Thomas O'Malley! Representing Team Toy, Jessie! Representing Team Pride Lands, Timon! Representing Team Villainy, Dr. Facilier! And representing Team Disney, Minnie Mouse!" said the announcer.
The first match would be Tiana and Naveen against Basil and Tito.
The buzzer sounded and the contest began.
Match 1 Round 1
Tiana and Naveen had the first serve. Despite their size, Tito and Basil matched up well with the two. However, Tiana and Naveen took the first round after a hard spike from Tiana.
Round 2
Tiana and Naveen had the next serve. The round went on for a while, but eventually, Tiana and Naveen took the second round and the win, again thanks to Tiana.

The next match was Genie and Grumpy vs. Mulan and Belle.
Match 2 Round 1
Genie and Grumpy had the first serve. Genie used his power to lead his team to a victory in the first round.
Round 2
Mulan and Belle used quick thinking to get the comeback victory.
Round 3
At first, it seemed like Genie and Grumpy were going to pick up the win, but a little miscommunication between the two gave the win to Mulan and Belle

The third match on the card was Tigger and Nani vs. Timon and Chloe.
Match 3 Round 1
Timon and Chloe had the first serve. Tigger used unorthodox swats while Nani used power. Meanwhile, Chloe did most of the work with Timon helping out from time to time. Eventually, Tigger and Nani picked up the first win.
Round 2
Tigger used his speed to swat the ball back. Chloe used hers as well and Timon held his own too. Despite her size, Chloe helped pick up the second win for her team.
Round 3
The match was mostly a stalemate with Tigger and Nani against Chloe. Tigger and Nani came close to winning but Timon made the quick save. Chloe made a another quick save which gave her team the win.

The fourth match was Minnie Mouse and Jessie vs. Wilbur and Ms. Incredible.
Match 4 Round 1
Wilbur and Ms. Incredible had the first serve. Ms. Incredible used her stretching powers swat balls that ended up on the long end of the court, but Minnie and Jessie used good teamwork to pick up the first win.
Round 2
Ms. Incredible and Wilbur faired well, but Jessie and Minnie picked up the second round and the win.

The fifth and final match was Dr. Facilier and John vs. Thomas O'Malley and Mowgli.
Match 5 Round 1
Thomas and Mowgli had the first serve. John did practically all the work for his team. At the end of the match, Facilier secretly released a ghost which scared Thomas and Mowgli, unknown to John.
Round 2
Facilier and John had the next serve. Facilier's shadow launched a killer serve that Thomas and Mowgli couldn't react to and got the win for his team.

"Since Facilier and John won in the fifth match, they get a bye to the finals," said Bert.
"Now let's go the second round of the tournament," said Mary.
The first match was Tiana and Naveen vs. Belle and Mulan.
Match 6 Round 1
Belle and Mulan had the first serve. For the first 2 minutes, neither team could get the better of another. But eventually, Tiana and Naveen got the first win.
Round 2
Tiana and Naveen had the next serve. Like the previous round, it was ultra competitive and Belle and Mulan came from behind to get the second victory.
Round 3
Belle and Naveen got the next serve. This round was even more competitive than the previous two. It went on for more than 4 minutes. In the end, Belle and Mulan scraped by with the victory and the win.

The next match was Timon and Chloe vs. Minnie Mouse and Jessie.
Match 7 Round 1
Timon and Chloe had the first serve. Minnie and Jessie used their great teamwork to overpower Chloe and Timon for the first win.
Round 2
Minnie and Jessie had the next serve. Timon and Chloe faired better in this round and eventually, a come from behind spike gave them the second win.
Round 3
Jessie and Chloe were evenly matched, as were Minnie and Timon. The match lasted for about 5 minutes until Minnie hit a hard spike that got her team the win.

Minnie and Jessie stayed on the court as Belle and Mulan entered. The winner of this next match would face Facilier and John in the finals.
Match 8 Round 1
Belle and Mulan had the first serve. Jessie befending the back end of the court as Mulan used power to hit long range shots. Meanwhile, Belle and Jessie defended the inside end of their respective courts. For the next 4 minutes, both teams went back and forth exchanging the ball. Mulan thought she had the win with her spike, but Jessie made a suicide dive to hit the ball just in time and get the first win.
Round 2
Mulan and Minnie went back and forth for the first bit of the match, then Jessie and Belle went at it. Belle almost got the win, but Jessie made a last minute save. Minnie handled some of Mulan's hardest spikes, while Jessie used her speed to overcome Belle. However, Belle persisted on while Mulan played defense in the back. Eventually, a shot from Belle gave her team the win.
Round 3
This round was the most challenging. The two teams traded the ball back and forth. Jessie hit a shot to the far end of the court, but Belle slid down and just barely got it. Later on, Belle hit a shot that went up in the air and Minnie jumped and got it with Mulan just barely returning it. For the next 5 and a half minutes, the two teams were tooth and nail. Mulan and Jessie both made last minute saves. For 2 more minutes, they were evenly matched. In the final moments of the match, Mulan hit a hard spike, Minnie spiked it back, then Belle, then Jessie, then Belle again, then Jessie. Mulan slid in and hit from below, causing the ball to bounce in the looked as though, the ball was out of their reach, but in a last ditch effort, Minnie hosted Jessie up in the air, and Jessie spiked it to get the win for her team.

"Wow! That match was quite a humdinger!" said Bert.
"A classic to say the least, but Minnie and Jessie are not done yet. We have now made it to the finals as the two will square off with Dr. Facilier and John," said Mary.
Match 9 Round 1
John opted to give their opponents time to catch their breath, but Facilier was having none of it and ordered the match to start. He and John had the first serve. Facilier spiked the ball hard and immediately got the first win. John was not too thrilled with the victory.
Round 2
Pulling themselves together, Minnie and Jessie faired better in the second round. Jessie came close to getting the win, but Facilier used his shadow to get the save. John was not happy with Facilier's tactics. Minnie and Jessie kept fighting. Minnie was getting exhausted, by Jessie kept the fight going. Facilier hit a high shot and Jessie jumped up and spiked it hard to get the second win.
Round 3
Minnie and Jessie were growing more tired as the third round began, but still they remained in the game. Facilier continued to utilize his shadow to give him the upper hand, much to John's disgust. As Minnie and Jessie grew more tired, it looked as though Facilier and John were gonna win. Minnie and Jessie had one last shot in them. Facilier went for the shot, when suddenly, John tripped him and gave Minnie and Jessie the win, much to Facilier's fury.

"Normally, I don't approve of turnin' your back on your teammates, but I have to say, good on our fellow Englishman, John there for stickin' it to that Dr. Facilier," said Bert.
"We English pride ourselves on honor and John just couldn't stand to see that dastardly witchdoctor cheat," said Mary.
"And so with their victory, Minnie Mouse and Jessie will now face off against each other in the final round," said Bert.
After an hour to rest themselves, Minnie and Jessie headed to opposite sides of the court for the final match.
Match 10 Round 1
Jessie had the first serve. As usual, Jessie used her speed and technique in the opening minute of the round, but Minnie kept up with her and hit a hard spike to get the first win.
Round 2
Minnie had the next serve. For the first 2 minutes, the two traded the ball back and forth. Minnie hit a shot the far left of the court, but Jessie slid in and hit it to the far right. Minnie responded with a slide hit of her own, but Jessie spiked it to get the second win.
Round 3
The round consisted of hard shots back and forth. Minnie nearly got Jessie with a hard spike to the right. Jessie nearly got Minnie with a hard spike in the middle. It was evenly match for about 2 minutes, but eventually, Minnie caught Jessie off guard with a spike to the right and got the win.

At Muppets Studio, Bert and Mary interviewed the Muppets again.
"Well at the end of that grueling tennis tournament, Team Fairy remains in the lead. What did you guys think that?" Bert asked.
"Oh it was rather thrilling. You know, Facilier tried to cheat his way to victory, but luckily John stopped him," said Kermit.
"I give props to both Minnie and Jessie for showing that girl power," said Ms. Piggy.
"I guess you could say Dr. Facilier 'dropped the ball,' nuck, nuck, nuck!" said Fozzy.
"That Jessie sure put up a heck of a fight both as a partner and an opponent," said Gonzo.
"Well with that said, we have concluded the first half of today's games, now we go back to EPCOT for the second half," said Mary.
