FITZ'S POV
I opened the door revealing Teddy. He stood in dark jeans, hands in his black zipped up coat.
"It's freezing!" He pushed his way through the door "Libby, i'm coming in" he didn't wait just opened the bedroom door and closed it behind him. A few seconds later he was thrown out as i heard Liv yell at him for touching her things.
"Where's Lex?"
"Downstairs in the truck with Abs" He sat down across from me "Look at you, two months back and you're moved in huh"
"Fitz is not moved in" Liv said as she came into the living room. She wore the tightest black skirt i had ever seen that was matte looking and reaching her mid thigh which was tucked into a navy blue loose, see through long sleeved blouse. She had it open a bit but had a black undershirt underneath as she wore black heels that made her legs seem like they went on for days. Her hair was down and curled out of her face.
"Doesn't Libby look nice Fitz?" Teddy smiled as i helped her with her coat.
"Of course"
"Thanks boys" Liv smiled and locked the door as Tom stepped into the elevator.
"Take this Fitz" Teddy handed me Liv's keys.
"Why?" Liv and i said in unison
"Because it's a kids free night, no responsibilities. We're going to drink and i don't want Liv coming home. The last time we got drunk was in the old apartment. 5 years ago!"
"Well where are we staying?" Liv smiled and i knew she needed a night to relax
"We'll all crash here but you have to leave when the rest of us do. Deal?"
"Deal" i watched in horror as they did a spit handshake agreement.
"Hi Fitz! Liv!" Abby and Lex both waved as we got into the SUV. Tom climbed up front.
"Quinn, Huck and Harrison will meet us at the lounge!"
"Lounge?" Liv asked from beside me
"We have our own booth, Governor Grant's name was dropped and the tables were wide open" Teddy laughed
(Break)
The lounge had music and everyone looked like they were having a good time as we came in. It was just like a bar and i watched as Abby walked up to a booth where Quinn and the rest of OPA sat.
"Sir, i will be right over here" Tom notified me
"No tom, you will join us" Abby and Liv both nodded and smiled as he sat down. Quinn, huck, Harrison, Teddy, Lex, Tom, Abby, Liv and i all sat in order leaving me directly across from Quinn who was making it her mission to ignore me.
"Hi Quinny" Liv smiled softly and Quinn's whole mood changed softening
"Hi"
"Can you just have fun tonight? You can yell at me tomorrow" Liv offered.
"I'm not talking to him though"
"That's fine" Liv laughed as the waitress came by. Teddy rubbed his hands and ordered us all shots to get started, pitchers.
"Can we get some scotch also? Single Malt and red wine"
I looked over at her "you still like scotch right?"
"Yes"
"Perfect" she smiled and went back to talking to Abby. Eventually, Harrison went off for a bit along with Teddy and Lex. Each of us were having our own conversations.
"Dance with me" I whispered as the song slowed down and most couples made it onto the dance floor.
"No" she laughed "i don't dance anymore"
"You used to love dancing"
"People change smart ass" Quinn piped up.
"Quinn" Liv warned. Quinn stood before anyone could say anything
"I'm gonna head home"
"No, stay!" Abby and Liv tried
"See you on monday" she waved slightly before walking off with Huck.
"She must really hate me" I said more to myself than anyone.
"Let's go dance" Liv offered pushing me out of the booth slightly
"I thought you didn't dance" i said you didn't dance" i said pulling her towards me. She put her hand on my shoulder and the other in my hand.
"I don't but Abby seems to like Tom"
"My little matchmaker" i smiled
"I'm glad you're here Fitz"
"You are?"
"Yes" Liv smiled as Teddy approached us
"More shots, i want you drunk when we leave here"
"Why?" Liv laughed as he pulled her away
"Because it will be years until we do this again"
It was 3 in the morning when we made our way back to Liv's apartment. Teddy and Lex taking the SUV and the driver to their house and Tom helped Abby to her apartment so none of the original plan stayed. I watched Liv giggle loudly as she stepped out of the elevator.
"Woah, just sit down for a second while i get the door unlocked" i helped her and watched her slide to the ground beside her door.
"You know you're really tall compared to me are you sure you'd still date me?"
"What kind of question is that?" I chuckled as i helped her up once the door was open. She stumbled slightly into the apartment and went straight for her bedroom. She jumped on the bed and buried herself into the pillows.
I took her heels off and set them by the closet and turned off the lamp
"Night Livvie"
"You didn't answer the question!"
"Height doesn't matter Liv, you are perfect" i smiled as she turned towards me half asleep
"I... I forgive you" she was struggling to say how she felt "I'm still working on the trust issues but i'm not mad anymore and i want to have you in my life, in Avery's but i can't until i fully trust you"
I leaned down and kissed her forehead
"I told you i'd wait, get some sleep Livvie"
