Two Minds, One Choice
Chapter 37
... "No... i'm fine... you stay there I only have a few more left!" Jonny replied as he pulled the heavy holdall across the floor and took it out to the car, "Jonny, I can lift a few bags you know, I'm only pregnant!" Jac said, crossing her arms like a stroppy teenagers. 5 minutes later the car was all packed and ready to go, the pair then went to the toilet before starting the long journey and went and sat in the car. They both put on their seat belts and looked at each other as Jonny started the engine. "Are you ready, Naylor!" Jonny asked, smiling as he put the car into gear, "I'm always ready Maconie!" Jac asked as Jonny starting to pull off of the driveway...
Half an hour into the journey, after explaining and waffling on to Jac about how much fun they were going to have in Scotland, the things they were going to do. Jac then decided to put some music on to try and drown out his constant excitement and information about Scotland.
"Lets see what radio stations we can find shall we?" Jac said as she began to mess around with the radio dials,
"We should be able to get capital or something if you mess around with it long enough!" Jonny said, concentrating on the road as they approached a busy junction. Moments later Jac had found the Capital fm radio station and began to hum along to the song that they were playing. Jonny quickly glanced over to her, laughing slightly as she looked on her twitter and facebook page, "I Like this song, I have a feeling im not the only one am I Jac!" Jonny said, tapping his fingers against the steering wheel as he joined in, humming along to the song before continuing to sing along with the song at the top of his lungs,
"And your gonna hear me Roarr or or orrrr!" Jonny screeched, purposely out of tune so he could make some conversation with Jac along the long car journey.
"Jonny, has anyone ever told you that you cannot sing!" Jac said, nudging him lightly in the side, Jonny again, quickly glanced over to Jac, with a sarcastic , shocked looked on his face as he took a loud gasp,
"I have you know Naylor, that I am the best singer in Scotland!" Jonny answered sarcastically as he held his head up high and began to sing again, Jac looked at him for a few seconds longer before looking back at her phone and typing a tweet on twitter,
'LOL! JonnyMac singing at the top of his lungs! Strangled cat springs to mind #Help'
half an hour later they were approaching one of the many service stops along their journey, Jac looked at the road sign, noticing the small picture that indicated that there was a service stop in the next 100 yards,
"Jonny, can we stop off at this service station, I need the loo!" Jac said, crossing her legs,
"Sure I need to top up the petrol anyway!" Jonny said as he put his left indicator on so he could move into the correct lane that he needed to be in to come off of the motorway.
5 minutes later Jonny had pulled up outside the service station so Jac could run, well waddle to the bathroom. As soon as they came to a stand still, Jac jumped out and started to make her way into the service station,
"I'm just going to get petrol, Ill meet you outside the toilets ok!" Jonny said, winding down the windows so Jac could hear him,
"Ok, see you in a minute!" She shouted back, walking as fast as her legs would carry her as she disappeared into the building.
Jonny restarted the engine and drove over to the petrol station, before cutting the engine again and getting out of the car to fill up the tank, moments later he locked the car and walked into the small building.
After walking out of the small hut like building Jonny jumped back into the car and drove it back over to the main entrance of the service station, before going to meet Jac inside the bathroom.
In the bathroom...
Jac had just managed to reach the spacious bathroom, pleased to find that there wasn't a queue and she could pee in peace. A few minutes later she emerged from the toilet cubicle, rubbing her rounded bump, looking relieved,
"Your going to have to stop this Isla, Mummy cant pee on request you know!" Jac whispered as she washed her hands before drying them with some paper towels. Jac then walked out of the bathroom to be greeted by Jonny who was leaning against the wall still humming the song that he was singing along to in the car,
"Feeling better baby?" Jonny said as he moved away from the wall and stood next to Jac,
"Yes, although Isla enjoys making her mummy pee when she feels fit, I'm fine other than that!" Jac said, taking hold of Jonny's hand as they walked towards the main area of the building.
"I was thinking, it's some way away to the next service stop, maybe we could get some food, drinks and magazines to tide us over until we get there?" Jonny said before kissing her gently on the cheek,
"Yes, that sounds fine, I fancy some cheese and onion crisps and chocolate, lots of chocolate!" Jac said, staring into thin air as she fantasised about what she could buy and eat for the next 6 and a half hours that were left of their journey.
"You can have whatever you want my sweetheart, we can get some hot chocolate or a cup of tea to warm ourselves up aswell!" Jonny said as they walked into the large WHsmith shop located at the side of the toilet block
Jonny then picked up a basket with his free hand and hung it off of his arm, as Jac Placed in a few bottles of water, some coca cola and a bottle of orange fanta, they then walked around to the other side where the crisps and chocolate were kept,
"Right what do you want hunny!" Jac said as she was indecisive about what she was going to have, instead picking up about 3 bars of chocolate and two packets of crisps just for her, Jonny then picked up a couple of bars for him and some crisps and threw them into the basket.
"Ok we will get a few magazines and some tea and we can get on our way with the rest of the journey!" Jonny said as he let Jac choose her magazines as he looked at the mens magazines...

Im sorry if this seems rushed and rubbish for some reason im really struggling to write just lately !
Any suggestions about the trip are welcome

I may update again on Sunday as i have a busy few days ahead of me (For all fan fics, Two Against the world and Swings and roundabouts!)
