Voldemort
He could hear the war inside, could feel his followers fighting and falling for him and yet, he remained outside.
The Dark Lord could feel the loss of Bellatrix, even before she'd passed, he simply knew. However, just before whenever it was that she fell, she had sent word to her master of her findings via Walden Macnair. The loyal Death Eater had reported that they had found the Potter boy and would bring him but then...
"Who killed her?" The Dark Lord now hissed at the trembling man before him and Macnair sobbed at his feet.
"It- is- it is impossible- quite impossible My Lord- bu- but- but-"
"But?" The angry heir to Slytherin kicked at the man who moved away and continued.
"But it was Lucius sir." The black haired man finished quickly and Lord Voldemort laughed.
"Of course it was..." He grinned a malicious grin, "I think it's time me and ole' Malfoy have a little chat." He laughed and as he stepped away from and then past the trembling man, he hissed to a shadowy creature behind him and before Macnair could even have another thought, he became Nagini's next meal.
Toby
Why in the name of Merlin had he decided to stay behind?
After deciding that the angel Veldon needed to be contacted, Leo had taken him and Italy to a hidden Bunker under the town plaza and that was where they were only going to hide Italy, until the eldest son of the School Master decided that perhaps that wasn't the best idea and decided to stay behind so as to protect her, the only May child left. Before, all he'd really wanted was to be treated like an adult and help fight, but now- now all he really wanted was for everything to end.
Leo had told him what was happening at Hogwarts, had explained why Italy was hurt and had even warned him of the danger that his little brother- his small, six year old baby brother was in. He knew now why his father hadn't wanted him to fight and that's why he had decided to stay. He knew he wasn't a master wizard duelist and so he wanted to stay alive. He wanted to be here in his home town, waiting for his brother and father when the two of them finally come home.
He looked at Italy who now was laying on a pile of emergency blankets, her hair tangled and sticky from sweat. Was she perhaps running a fever? He touched her forehead and sighed with relief, she felt fine.
"Thank God."
Leo
He was there, at Hogwarts, with the screaming, the fighting and the dying.
The Ministry by now had caught wind of everything and were there, every Auror, every fighter fought. They fought without knowing, without realizing what exactly was happening.
The Dark Lord was back to full power and was by all rights now immortal, a prophet was missing and demons were having their fun while Leo ran through the chaos, in search of the angel Veldom. He was tired, had somehow lost his wand somewhere and at some point, had tripped over a limp body but without thought, had jumped right back up and continued to search.
He had never been to Hogwarts himself, having attended the small off the grid school in his town and so had no idea where he was going as he went. Where would they be? Where in the name of Merlin was Louie now? Or with all this going on was he Lucius again? He shook his head and that's when he heard someone call out to him and he stopped.
"Mr.! Please!"
He turned, and cringed. Stuck under a pile of rubble that had fallen with the explosion of a wall was a young boy, perhaps Italy's age, with bright red hair and pleading blue eyes. "Alright, hold on."
In just a couple of minutes, the tall May was in front of the boy, using all his strength to pull the rubble off him. "You got a wand boy?"
The younger redhead nodded as the last of the rubble was pulled off of him. "I-it's right here Mr.-"
"Call me Leo, now come on kid."
"The name's Ron." The boy told him as he got to his feet and followed the man all the same. "Where are we going?"
"I'm trying to find someone."
"The Boy Who Lived right?" Leo stopped and turning, he looked at the kid who gave a proud smile at obviously guessing the correct answer. "Who wouldn't be looking for him right now."
"Do you know where he is?" This question obviously coming out a bit more snippier then the older redhead had meant it, was greatfully still met with a nod.
Maxwell
The small boy took in a sharp breath as he stared at his small hand in front of his face which glistened slightly as a few drops of blood rolled off his palm and down his arm. He'd accidently got himself cut a few moments ago while staring into a small mirror shard he'd found on the cold floor of the room he was currently locked in.
After the men in the suits had taken him away and brought the small boy here to this dark place where there was only one door and a single light to match, they'd brought in several other people, who asked him a lot of questions that he didn't really understand, then when he couldn't or in some cases wouldn't give them any information, they'd locked him up and here he'd remained. He'd screamed, he'd cried, had even tried to reason with the men he thought were just outside the door but to no avail. He was stuck and with little to no hope of escape... Unless! He wiped his hand on his wrinkled trousers, picked up the shard of mirror and looked at himself once more. His short messy brown hair was even messier then was the usual and his dark blue eyes shone with an idea that was sure to set him free, if only he could do this right!
When he was five- only about eleven months ago, his adopted father had gotten him a television which he'd come to love like a best friend- he wasn't very good at making people friends, and had at one point, seen an old spy movie where this spy-man who had been kidnapped by villians hurt himself to trick the bad guys into taking him to a hospital where he had successfully escaped! The plan had gone without fail for the spy-man, who must've been a real awesome spy and he, Maxwell was great at pretending to be a spy so why shouldn't this be hard for him!
He smiled as he looked once more at himself, now with a grin on his small face.
Sebastian
The fight had started and continued as fierce as all of them could possibly make it and the demon Butler would have easily found that he could win had it not been for the vaine of his existence, that bloody red coat wearing stalker- Grell. He needed the reaper on his side but how could he convince him? He had tried offering him a kiss, but the shinigami knew better by now.
That's when it hit him and he smirked. He was behind a tree now as their fight had moved away from the building and Noir was on him with her own weapon: a double sided blade but seemed to be having trouble in tracking him as he called out to Grell.
Ciel
"Why are you doing this?" The question was not asked nor taken lightly by either male as the one who has still yet to give his name intricately cut the rope. Ciel would not escape at first, that would surely cause failure. However, he would wait, bide his time and when the opportunity presented itself, he would do what he needed to.
"I couldn't stand it anymore... The way they're treating that child."
"What child? What were they-"
BANG
The reaper helping the young Earl, quickly backed away, swiftly slipping the knife into his pocket as Kieth now hurried through the door he'd thrown open, a panicked expression on his face. "The boy! The prophet! He's gone!"
"What do you mean he's gone?!"
Ciel's eyes went slightly wide and at that very moment, pieces that were only randomly placed before were finally starting to cone together, he just needed a bit more information. "What prophet?" He looked at Kieth and was rather annoyed when he was ignored.
"What I mean Shin is that he's gone! No poof, no warning- he just disappeared!" At this point, three other reapers had entered the room behind Kierh and now they all just stood there, around their leader looking both frightened and curious.
"Did you see him disappear?"
"No, but there is no possible way he could've just disappeared. He's a six year old human."
"Maybe someone betray you and let him out." The Shinigami- Shin replied and Ciel internally laughed, finding it very ironic as the reaper had just been in the process of betraying his leader when the man had entered. Kieth seemed to have caught something from that for in one instant, he went from across the room to right in front of the reaper who took a step back, his hands in the air. "Hey, I'm just saying, there were always two guards at his door, who could've snuck him out. The child was after all required to be taken from his cell to use the bathroom, remember?"
Kieth nodded and stepped away, "What were you doing in here with filthy demon here?"
"I was just..." He shrugged, "Studying him."
"Studying him?" The scarred reaper raised a golden eyebrow.
"Well Will is having me tested on Demon anatomy and I was curious."
"God I hate him... Oh and curiosity killed the cat."
Shin smirked at this and crossed his arms, "Satisfaction brought it back." He began, but suddenly frowned when suddenly a loud explosion sounded in the distance and the sound of loud sirens filled the building.
Lucius
"F- Fa- Fathe?" Draco took a step forward, his grayish-blue eyes sparkling with both curiosity and fear.
Lucius looked at his son, a saddened look on his face as Narcissia set a hand on her son's shoulder. "Not now, we must leave, I can feel the Dark Lord's presence and-"
"We must hurry." Suddenly came Veldom's voice and everyone looked at him. "The Dark Lord knows we are attempting to leave. I must call for help."
"From who?" This was Harry who spoke but before anymore could be said, a shrill rining filled the air and in an instant flash of blinding white light, all who had previously been in the room were gone.
Leo
They were there.
Then they were gone.
The Ginger haired boy Ron had shown him to where he thought Harry Potter might be and to his luck they were there... For only a moment.
"Oh God!" His heart was racing and his skin crawling as he then turned to see a dark figure move toward them. "Let's get out of here." He told Ron and the boy nodded as they turned and ran.
Maxwell
The small boy looked up at the night sky, an excited gleam shinning in his eyes. It had worked! His super secret spy plan had worked- except, he was better, he hadn't even had to go to the hospital! He'd simply taken the shard of reflective glass and was just about to slice it through himself when suddenly...
He'd disappeared.
He had not expected this and had felt nothing from it but as soon as it had happened, he knew why. He, a prophet of the Lord was not to be harmed by anybody, even himself and so when presented with danger, he'd been saved and now without the dangerous shard, he was here.
But where was here?
Taking his gaze away from the sky, he looked around carefully and smiled, he was in a playground. There was a slide, a sandbox, and loads of other equiptnent; including to his delight, a swing set which he ran over to with glee.
He was scared, and he wanted to be home but knowing that monsters couldn't get him made him feel safer and so even with his fear the small boy decided to have fun until his family came to save him, because he knew that they would come to save him.
