Hey everyone! So, the rest of these chapters will be incredibly long and I am totally excited for the ending! Anyway, let's start, shall we?

. . . . . .

So Sofie right now was in her room, wondering what to do. She wondered why barely anyone has asked why she carries a bunny around. For her age, it's really strange but people act as if it's normal. Yet again, she could understand with some of her friend's ahoges, they look kinda weird how they randomly pop up. Her thoughts about what to do were solved (probably) when she heard a knock on the door.

She walked down the stairs normally unlike with Yao and opened the door to find Kiku. She smiled and chirped "Hey Kiku."

"Hello Sofie-chan." Kiku said as a blush scattered on his cheeks, then he bowed.

"You know you don't have to be so formal Kiku. So, what's up?"

"Hai. . .Um, well. . .Would you like to talk a walk with me?" He asked as his blush became more obvious.

"Sure, I'll just ask first okay?" He nods and she goes to her grandma to ask permission, she said yes. She went back to where Kiku was and said "Let's go." With a big smile.

She closed the door behind her and they were off. Since it was dark out, she said "It's a lovely night, isn't it?"

"Not as lovely as you." Kiku mumbled very quietly, even lower than her whispering voice.

"What was that?" She asked.

He flinched and replied "N-nothing! Um, I mean, it is."

Sofie gave him an odd look, but smiled anyway. She asked "Are we going anywhere in specific?"

"Hai, but it's a surprise." Kiku said as he looked more forward than at her.

Oh no, the last time someone took her somewhere for a surprise didn't go well at all. But yet again, he was knocked out for most of the time. But still! Oliver was literally going to kill him!

The thoughts didn't make her appeared scared on the outside, she said "O-oh cool! I wonder what it is." Her mind wandered from her other thoughts to wonder where he could take her.

After a while, he asked "Sofie-chan, why weren't you as offended when you couldn't order your coffee from yesterday?"

"It was an honest mistake." Sofie said.

"Why are you defending them?" Kiku all of a sudden said in a slightly agitated tone.

"Well, I don't think I'm exactly defending," Sofie stated "But maybe its because I had someone to talk to after it happened."

He only nods and drops the subject. It went like this until they were at downtown, she asked "Can you tell me now?"

He shook his head with a slight smirk playing on his lips. "Aww," She whined "Can I at least have a hint?"

"It is one of Alfred-san's favorite foods." He answered.

"Burgers?" She asked him in a 'I-don't-believe-it' tone.

"No."

Sofie hummed in thought. "Twinkies?"

"What is a . . . Twinkie?" Kiku asked.

"You never had a twinkie?" Sofie asked "But they're clouds of deliciousness!" She exclaimed as she waved her arms.

"I will have to try them then." Kiku noted.

"You should!" Sofie paused. She was kinda hoping that he wouldn't say yes to it, but she asked anyway "Cake?"

Kiku shook his head, Sofie sighed mentally in relief. "I give up, what is it?"

He stopped and turned, Sofie stopped too and looked at the sign, it was an ice cream place! You could see little stars in her eyes as she exclaimed "Ice cream!" And threw her arms up. Kiku smiled at her excitement. Even with her small voice, it seems as if she can fill his heart with a fuzzy feeling. "Lets go!" And she went in, he followed shortly behind her.

The two looked at the different flavors, she got chocolate swirled with strawberry and Kiku got plain vanilla. They sat down in the metal seats of a table by the window.

"You know I've been having a craving of ice cream actually." Sofie said

"Really?"

She nods, "Have you ever had pumpkin flavored ice cream?"

Just the mere thought of it wanted to make him throw up, he shook his head. Sofie said "It actually tastes pretty good, it tastes like pumpkin pie!"

While they made small chat, she wondered if he would be fine with it if she licked his cone. Kinda like what her and Sadik do when they eat cake. She asked "Kiku, are you a germaphobe?"

He said "No, wh-" He was interrupted when she licked his cone. Kiku's blush was almost red, he stuttered "W-what are you doing?"

"I just wanted to see what yours tasted like." She said with an amused smirk.

Kiku said with his head bowed so she didn't see his blush "H-how does it taste?"

Sofie blinked, but giggled a little before she said "It tastes really good." She paused "You can have revenge if you want." As she put her ice cream cone closer to his face instead of hers.

"N-no Sofie-chan! That is yours and I-"

Sofie giggled before she said "Kiku, just lick it."

"I-uh-I-ehh-" He was interrupted when they heard a ring come from the door, they looked to find Heracles. He waved to the two and they waved back, he got an ice cream and sat down with them. She said "Hi Heracles."

"Hello angel, hello Kiku." He said sleepily.

"How are you?" Kiku asked him.

"I'm fine." He asked "How are you two?"

"I'm having a great time!" Sofie exclaimed.

Kiku was relieved when she said that. Even though she's shown how happy she is, he needs reassurance sometimes. He said "Me too."

Another ring and a loud voice said "Yo Sofie, Kiku, what up?" Sadik was about to continue when he saw his enemy with his two friends, he shouted "Oi! Feta bread!" He grabbed him by the collar and said "What are you doing with my friends?"

"Your friends?" He asked.

"Yeah!"

"We were enjoying ice cream until you brought your ugly face inside. I think I'm going to be sick now."

"That's it!"

In the background, Sofie sighed. She said to Kiku"So you know the two?"

"Hai, they often do this when I am just with them. I am surprised that they do this with you too. When did you meet them?"

"Oh around last week. They work at the gas station over by the school actually. I wonder why they are enemies though."

"I have asked myself that too." Kiku commented as he licked some of his ice cream.

. . .

For the two hours the four were together, it was mostly Saidk and Heraces arguing while Sofie and Kiku were making small chat about anime.

Kiku asked "When do you have to go Sofie-chan?"

She looked at her iPod and said "Oh, I guess right about now."

"We have to get you home!" Sadik exclaimed. Her grandparents wouldn't exactly be happy with her, or him even.

"Okay." The enemies went back to bickering about which one of the two liked them. Sofie wanted to make light of the situation, so she asked "Do you two like pocky?"

They stopped mid-sentence to look at the girl, Sadik said "Didn't you buy that when were at the mall?"

"I did actually and I got some more when I was with Yao! Do you two want some?" They didn't get a chance to protest because she stuck one stick in each of their mouths.

Sofie smiled because of her perfect and polite plan to make them quiet. They got to her house in silence and the four were on her porch. "That was fun!" She chirped.

The three smiled and she said "I'll see you guys later! Oh Kiku, there's something I have to give you." In her bag, she grabbed a box of chocolate pocky and gave it to him, she whispered with a smile "It's so if they are arguing too much."

Kiku nodded and she said to the other two "See you later!" She closed the door and went to her room.

. . .

On late Friday nights, what Sofie usually does is watch a movie from her big collection of them combined with her parents and grandparent's favorite movies. It was a big cabinet that was originally a wardrobe, her grandad made small shelves for the DVD cases. The top shelf wasn't changed at all and that's where the VHSs were. The shelves were marked with everyone's name and Sofie's DVDs were on the top.

She closed her eyes and moved her finger from left to right a few times and stopped suddenly. She opened her eyes to see that she pointed to 'The Secret World of Arriety.' She wedged the DVD out of the cabinet and got the disc out when she went to the DVD player, she put it in and laid the case on top of the coffee table.

Sofie went to go and make popcorn and she added caramel in it and stirred it until it was evenly spread around. Ever since she was little, she did this with her popcorn. She got her favorite blanket from her closet, it was a Pokemon one and it had the three original starter Pokemon; Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur.

She got comfy and pressed play on the remote. She was twenty minutes into the movie when something caught her eye from the window. She looked to find Matthieu and Alex limping while Louis and Oliver were helping them walk. She didn't have many thoughts running on her head before she ran out into the cold with only her slippers protecting her feet. The only thought in her mind was 'I need to help them.' She came to them and asked "Why are Alex and Matthieu hurt?"

"Oh they were in a bar fight again. We had no idea that the guy that he messed with could hurt their legs that quick." Oliver said in a much less cheery tone than usual.

"That's it, all of you are coming inside." Sofie sighed "I don't want any of your guys to be in this bad of shape without me helping!"

Louis knew that she wasn't going to listen to reason at this point by the worry in her eyes, he went to her house while helping Matthieu on the steps. Oliver said "Oh poppet! It's nothing to fret over-"

"It is." Sofie said in a very serious tone while she got on the other side of Alex to help him on that side. "They need help and I am not going to watch my friends in this bad of a condition."

"I don't know," Oliver countered "They get. . .in a mood after a bar fight."

"What do you mean?" Oliver didn't say anything and kept his mouth shut. "They need to be taken care of Ollie." Sofie said "Now come on, I need to unlock the door."

. . .

They got to her house and her grandma and grandpa were both in the room. Her grandma and grandma asked at the same time "What happened?"

"They got into a fight." Sofie said as she helped set Alex down and scooted the table by him so he could set his foot down. "I'm not exactly sure how bad it is."

"I'll get the first aid." Her grandma said, she nodded. Sofie got a pillow from the couch and put it under Alex's foot.

"Dollface, your too good to me." Alex snickered.

Sofie smiled sadly, he was in horrible condition and so was Matthieu and it was obvious they were drinking a lot by the blood rushing to their cheeks and how they were acting. Louis put Matthieu down on the same couch where Alex was and Oliver did the same thing with Alex. She put her favorite blanket on top of them, making sure it isn't on top of their legs.

Her grandma came back in and treated their wounds since she used to be a nurse. She asked "What happened dearies?"

Alex said "Uh well, we got into a fight with someone."

"Oh that's horrible for them to do something like that." She said as she got the rubbing alcohol.

All of them were surprised that her grandma said that. They are killers for crying out loud and yet her grandma thinks that they have nothing to do with a fight?

"Yeah. . ." Matthieu said slowly.

. . .

She asked the rest "Does anyone want to watch the movie?" After Alex and Matthieu's injuries were taken care of.

"We'll be outta her any-"

"Not so fast Ollie!" Sofie interrupted "Alex and Matthieu need to rest their legs and it would be really bad if they put pressure in their legs right after they are treated."

"That is true." Her grandma said to the group from the stairs "You four will sleep on the couch while Sofie goes to her room. These two can't walk on their legs, even with someone helping them."

"You're right." Oliver sighed "They need to heal."

Louis was about to smoke another puff until Sofie got the scissors from the kitchen and cut off half of it and put it into a baggie. "Oh no you aren't! I'm keeping my word when I said that I'm not letting my friends waste their lives on something as stupid as this." Sofie held it away from her as she put it in the garbage can.

Louis growled at her since he needed to relax from what happened and cigarettes usually calmed him. Sofie said "I'll get blankets and make more popcorn!"

"Let me help you!" Oliver said as he went to get up.

"Nope!" She chirped "It's impolite for a guest to help the host!" She scolded happily.

"But you've been so nice to us poppet! It would be rude of me to not help you!" Oliver went in the kitchen to help her anyway.

Meanwhile, the three were in the room. Louis after he silently fumed, crossed his arms and rolled his eyes. Alex said as his piercing clicked on his teeth "Why is she so nice to us?"

Matthieu shrugged, but commented with his accent thick "It doesn't even looked forced. Like she honestly cares."

"She does." Louis said to them both.

"Even if we are who we are, she treats it as if someone came out of the closet to her." Mattieu paused "Except for the encouraging part of it. But like she doesn't even mind it."

Alex and Louis nodded. Sofie came back with pillows and blankets and handed Louis one, it was checkered with white and dalek patterned squares. She put a bright pink fluffy blanket for Oliver next to her along with a pillow and Sofie sat in between where Oliver would be seated and Louis.

She scrunched up her nose in disgust by the smell, she knew that it was coming from Louis and went to grab the air freshener. She came back with it and sprayed it everywhere, Louis coughed and so did the other two. He snapped "Why'd you do that?"

"Well," Sofie started. She didn't want to offend any of her friends, so she said "I smelled something really bad and I think it came from the garbage."

Alex laughed at how polite she was being "I bet it's because of Louis." He slurred.

"Yeah, when was the last time you fucking washed you hoser? Four days? Five?" Matthieu joined in.

"He needs to be sprayed with a hose!" Alex retorted, making both of them laugh.

Sofie decided to get off of the subject in and interjected "How about let's pick another movie huh?" She sped over to the cabinet and said "Let's see, we got the Breakfast Club, The House on Haunted Hill, Avatar, um," She babbled on and on about what movie titles there were, hoping there wouldn't be any mean things said anymore.

Oliver came in as she was halfway through her collection, he suggested "How about Grease?"

"Not that again!" Alex complained "You've seen that a thousand times and sing the songs constantly!"

Sofie looked through them again "What about a Disney movie? Those never get old in my book."

"Great idea!" Oliver said as he looked at the collection with her while humming 'Pink Elephants on Parade.' He just looked at all of the movies with a big grin on his face and Sofie eventually joined into his humming.

She asked "You want to see Dumbo, don't you?"

Oliver nodded enthusiastically and then asked "How did you know?"

She giggled, "I have my ways." Sofie replied as she got out the VHS. The two walked from the dining room into the living room which was connected and she switched the DVD/VHS player to the VHS setting. She got the remote to change it to channel three while Oliver gave popcorn bowls to the rest of them and turned off the lights. She pressed play and went to sit down in between Oliver and Louis.

"I love this movie too." Sofie said in her small voice.

"Oh really?" Oliver asked, she nodded. The movie came on and it went through without any problems until the other elephants made Dumbo a clown and that's when Sofie started to cry a little and whimper.

"Sofie, what's wrong?" Oliver asked in a worried tone.

"It's those elephants!" She exclaimed "Why did they do that to him? All because of his big ears! Now that's just mean!" She sniffled.

Oliver chuckled a little, he said "Oh Poppet." And hugged her to try and calm her. It did calm her, but it was pointless when it came to Dumbo being reunited with his mom.

She cheered "It's so touching!" But the tears were still flowing. Louis looked over to her, he doesn't really know how to stop crying, especially crying from joy. Isn't crying supposed to be from either pain or sadness? When the part of the 'pink elephants on parade' came on, most of them hummed quietly while Sofie and Oliver sang it word for word and perfectly on key.

After a while, the movie was over and she turned the lights back on. She asked "What about another movie?"

She looked to find Matthieu and Alex asleep, she went to the pile of pillows on the third couch in the living room and put two of them under their heads. Oliver chimed "Sure!" with a yawn.

"Since Oliver chose, what about you come over Louis?"

He blinked, but he threw the blanket off of himself and walked over to where she was. Louis stated "That's a lot." referring to the movies.

"Yep." Sofie agreed.

He looked over the many titles and said "Corpse Bride." and got it from the shelf.

"Ooh! I love Tim Burton!" She plucked it from his hand and ran over to the DVD player with him lingering behind.

She switched the player back to the DVD setting and pressed a button where a menu came up of the DVD. She pressed play and sat down by Oliver again and got under her quilt that had tiny Animal Crossing leaves designed on it.

She got the remote and pressed play and sat down with the two. The whole movie went through fine this time and Oliver was fast asleep, she went to get another pillow for him and gently put it under his head.

Sofie asked "You aren't tired either?" As she went farther away from Oliver and more to Louis.

"I'm an insomniac." Louis stated.

She nodded, she said "Sometimes what helps me when I have restless nights is when someone is up with me too. It makes me feel less. . .lonely." He only nodded. "How about let's hang out in the kitchen?" He nods again and gets up, Sofie gets all of the bowls that were empty along with her blanket in the other hand.

They go to the kitchen and Sofie rinsed the bowl that had caramel in it and put the other ones in the sink. She sat on the counter while Louis sits on one of the chairs. He asked suddenly "Why does it always sound like your whispering?"

She was about to explain, she took a breathe in and opened her eyes a little wider. "I never really gave it much thought." Sofie got off of the counter to go to the coffee maker and she asked "Do you want any?"

He said "Might as well, I'm not going to be sleeping anytime soon."

She poured him some in a coffee cup with a fleur de lis on it "You probably want yours black right?"

"Yeah. Like my soul." She walked over to him and giggled. She set it down in front of him and went back to the counter to find the sugar.

"Why do you care for us?" He said as he stared at his cup.

"Pardon?"

"I said why do you care for us?" Louis repeated.

"Oh," Sofie said, giving it some thought and to try and put it into terms that he could understand from her frayed mind. "Well, ask yourself, do you try to be good people?"

He was about to say no when he realized, all of them were getting soft. They have killed less people after they met her than they ever have. It made him angry that she was making them soft, especially him! He's cold, heartless, your worst enemy! And now he's watching Disney movies and humming along the the Rainbow Connection! "I guess." He grumbled.

"Then that makes you a good person, that's what I believe." Sofie smiled at him while she got her creamer. "And besides, I can see the good in you guys."

Louis arched a brow and carried his cup over to put his face close to hers and he squinted. "Who are you exactly? We aren't good at all."

Her nose scrunched up because of the smell, but she laughed "Sofie silly!"

Louis squinted a little more, then he commented "It's just, your different. Really, really . . . different. Your not afraid of anything."

"I'm scared of some things." Sofie defended "Like tarantulas and poisonous snakes and the saw doll, what was it, jigsaw?" She shuttered "That gives me the willies!"

"Out of all the things that could kill you, your scared of those things?"

She nods, "Oh and zombies, I don't like many of those movies except for Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland."

He ached a brow, "Your a strange little girl."

She only commented "Everyone's strange Louis." He nodded, but sat down again.

After a while in silence, she asked "What Oliver said, he said that the two get in a mood after they get into a bar fight. . . what does he mean by that?"

Louis blinked and replied "They usually want to kill. But it's always the guys that did it to them, so you have nothing to worry about." He then sipped some of the coffee

Sofie clung onto her bunny more and a chill ran up her spine. They sat in silence for a while until Sofie asked "Have you ever felt guilty when you've killed someone?"

"Not really." She gulped "The first time, yeah, but after that no."

She nodded, "Why haven't you killed me? I'm just a normal person-"

"The most normal person we can ask for." Louis retorted, accidentally with anger laced in his voice because she didn't get it, he sighed before starting again. "Look, you treat us like we're normal. You even defended both Alex and the red head like it just happens. Your like that statue in courts where she has a blindfold and has the scale thing." Sofie blinked, but he continued anyway "Your just," Louis's eye was twitched as his hands were directed toward her in his chair since he was having trouble to find the right word for it. He couldn't, so he said "You, and that's the best thing that we could've asked for."

Sofie smiled and blushed "Oh Louis." and gigged a little.

"No I'm serious." Louis said honestly.

Sofie yawned "I'm not amazing."

"Don't give me that shit." Louis spat "And that was a one time thing. . .what I said." Sofie's head went to the side in a cute fashion, as if she was questioning him. Louis was looking at his coffee now, he looked up to find her like that, "What are you staring at?"

"Your acting like Lovino now, I wonder why." She yawned again and her eyes drooped a little.

Louis gave a slight smirk, she was cute when she was sleepy. "Okay go to bed."

"Huh?"

"I can see your eyes are drooping and you've yawned twice. Now get upstairs."

"But then you'll be lonely!" Sofie said as she drank some more coffee "Besides, I can be up with coffee!"

"Don't rely on caffeine. Caffeine won't always be there."

"But I don't-" Sofie was going to say, but Louis came up to her and turned her.

He pushed her lightly out of the kitchen as he said "You need sleep more than I do. I'm not having any of it."

"Okay," Sofie pouted and walked halfway to the stairs "But wake me up when your feeling alone, got it?"

"Yeah yeah." Louis grumbled. "Go upstairs."

Sofie said "Goodnight then." With a small smile and a yawn.

"Night." She walked up the stairs gently and went into her room and locked the door.

Louis stayed by the stairs until he heard her close a door. Louis scratched his stubble and sighed. How could she have this big of an impact on him?

He went into the kitchen and got his carton of cigarettes and his lighter, he flicked it a few times before it was lit. He put it to the end and put the filter to his lips and sucked in, he felt more calm when he exhaled.

"Hey." A voice called from the doorway, it was Oliver. He dragged the blanket that she gave him for the night and sat down with Louis. Louis got a mug for Oliver and poured the coffee in and gave him creamer and sugar.

Oliver smiled sadly and put a lot of creamer in it until it was almost white, he put a lot of sugar in too and stirred it with the spoon that he gave him. He laughed a little "Sofie believes that if you try to be a good person. . . you are? . . . I never heard of that before."

Louis only nodded. "I wonder why she's so good to us," Oliver wondered.

Louis shrugged.

"And she is the sweetest thing!" Oliver exclaimed, his mood changing considerably "I get a toothache just from talking to her! You know, today, she even admitted she was unsure about us." Oliver laughed, "She said we were 'eccentric.'"

Louis smirked a little at the word. . . eccentric. That's one way to describe them.

"She even offered us to stay at her house."

Louis was in mid sip when he heard that, he spat it out and said "What?"

"True story." Oliver said to him.

"Why did she offer something like that?" Louis asked, making Oliver surprised by this.

"Maybe it's because I was talking about my mother and how she kicked us out." Oliver threw out the suggestion.

"Does she want to get arrested?"

Oliver blinked, it took him by surprise to see that he was caring about someone else's future. "Louis. . .are you telling me your worrying about someone else's life?"

Louis was wide eyed, his eyes returned to normal and he growled "No, you fucking idiot."

Oliver had a big mischievous grin on and he said "Oh you so are!"

"No, I'm not!" He paused "It's just to think she would be that stupid enough to do that."

He agreed with the elder one. Why would she be willing to risk getting arrested just for them? Like she said, they were friends, but their 'friends' would not do that just for a friend.
