I was staring at the pristine package once again, which my superior gave me. Adjusting the hat that sat on my head for ages, I looked up at him, and then outside. The greyish blue cloud was spreading across the sky like blots of ink in an wet page, and the building and the trees around the building were still luminous by the remaining sunlight of the afternoon, which looked so ominous that it were vocally warning the passer-bys : 'You better start running for a shade'

'Why me?' I said to Ging, my superior 'where the heck has the other one gone?' I complained as my insides lurched at the sky. 'can't it wait for tomorrow?'

'Sorry (y/n)-chan, but it has to be done today... He's an urgent customer.' Ging grinned like an idiot and without wasting any more word, I set my foot towards the company car, before things get worse. Like a reflex action, as soon as I started the van, I turned the GPS on and then turned to the parcel to make out the address.

Kong Fei Tan, no 13, Churchyard Street

I am not a superstitious person, or I believe in ghosts, but being in a cramped semi-dark van and reading the address while the sky at 5:30 growled suddenly, it sure made me a little anxious... the name was unusual itself. From my limited expertise of dealing with Chinese clients I tried to understand the meaning while driving down the Broadway of York Shin city, and unknowingly, those three syllables sprang at my lips...

Kong... Fei... Tan... Never heard such name, whoever named this person made sure that nobody could make out its meaning, and they were successful.

Whatever, he's just another creep and I need to do this thing done... I took a sharp turn near the St. Raphael's Cross and no sooner had I entered the dingy side-lane than the sky decided to break it on me...

'Oh crap, that's a heavy rain out there...' I internalised and turned the wiper on. But it seemed that the wiper was much of a playful mood to slide on my windscreen rather than to clear the running waterfall up. Steering it to the next turn, I realised that the street, rather the alley was too narrow to let a Volkswagen van in.

'Today I must have been at the wrong side of bed...' while the sky was streaming down, I had to leave my van at the street, grab that damn black umbrella the I had picked up at my Grandmothers' funeral and hugging the parcel as best as I could I stepped outside.

The red and black funeral umbrella...

Funeral...

No 13, Churchyard Street

Kong... Fei... Tan

With the lighting flashing with a sound like a gunshot in the dark evening sky, my sense came back and I understood the meaning of the name...

Kong... Fei... Tan... Fear in the Silence, or Silent Fear.

Without any warning, my heartbeat went faster, and it wasn't like a high-school hormonal girl looking at her crush kind of heartbeat. It was the heartbeat of being somewhere you know you would be in danger.

Witha Flash of lightning a silhouette of the nearby broken down gate someone's huge garden appeared in the drenched darkness. But I realised that perhaps I was slightly wrong, as the gate wasn't of some garden's, it was a Graveyard's. And my short encounter made me realise that I had already entered the entity of my long desired 'Churchyard Street'

I was cussing myself continuously as I couldn't found the Number 13 house in the Churchyard Street. Without my brains consent I was freaked out so much, that I was ready to escape this Acheron-like hell stream. But then again, 13 isn't a very good number...was it! The rain was so bad, that the cold blizzard like shower, teamed up with a stormy wind, made my motion difficult and my funeral umbrella flew, as I was passing by the second block.

What did I do in my past life that all the bad things were happening to me?

Luckily there was a house with a nice sunshade near the porch, so I decided to stand there for a while until the rain slows down a little bit. I was already shivering with the wet splashes all around me, so while brushing myself and renewing a good grip on the parcel, I finally saw the broken down, engraved sign in Latin calligraphy pattern, that hung over the door.

No 13, Kong Fei-Tan

Thank god I made it! I was here like forever. Without any further hesitation, I knocked the front door.

Knock knock is anybody there?

Hello! I am _ from XX Courier Service...

Is anybody there? I have a parcel for Mr. Kon-

The door slammed open and I was startled to death as a short pale man with his face partly covered with a dark shawl came in front of me with candelabra in his hand. The man was serpentine eyed and looked like someone not to be crossed. The main attraction was the candelabra... it was made of dark bronze or chrome and it had a hellish look. He slowly mumbled 'Wei' which meant he had acknowledged me, and beckoned to enter.

'Sorry for interruption, but I need to meet Mr. Kong Fei Tan, I have a parcel for him...' I blurted out and the man looked at me crossly.

'You have to wait...' he slowly said 'You have to wait for Mr. Kong'

'Listen why don't you take it-'

'Then what will happen to you?' He stared at me with cold eyes and a loud crack of lightning shook the whole house.

I had no choice but to sit down, but seriously, even after some moments passed, not a single light or candle was brought into my room. I was wet, cold and anxious, and particularly creeping out as the darkness outside was getting even darker. I tried to call for him but I didn't know his name. What got me the most was the horrific smell like some rat it rotting away at the corner of the house... That man, or whoever is the in charge of the housekeeping, doesn't do his job very well.

Five more minutes passed, and nobody came. I took out my cellphone to light up the torch, and looking at the time, it was nearly nine in the night. My eyes were roaming across the hallway, and suddenly my eyes fell on a portrait on the wall.

It was a young boy, with silky black hair framing his face with bangs and he had silted serpentine eyes, and as my eyes adjusted to the painting, he looked same as the man who opened the door. I scanned that photo at the bottom and there were something inscribed in Chinese.

Kong Fei Tan

Born: 19th August, XXXX

Died: 7th November, XXXX

Today is 7th November, XXXX...

That means Kong Fei Tan died five years ago?

'Boo'

With a flash I dropped my cellphone and it crashed against the ground as a cold hand slithered around my waist. That rotten rat smell increased even more and I crashed through the door of no 13. But I could still hear footsteps slashing around the mud of the streets... that demon was following me, and it can be heard still while I was running the dingy street, It was calling me in stone cold voice...

Where is my parcel miss?

ARGHHHHAAAAAAA!

...

'Miss, Miss?' it felt like it was raining over my face, or somebody was pissing on me 'Miss... are you alive?'

I slowly opened my eyes to a dull yellowish light in an old room and it was a pair of that odd serpentine eyes, I sat up straight like I had been electrified...

'Hey you creep... stay away from me... ' I was hiding behind the small square box.

'Did I do something wrong? Cuz I don't recall any...' he stared at me with a sceptical look.

'But... but... why are you here... You are dead...' I blurted out...

'What are you talking about... how can I be dead when I am in front of you?' he said with annoyance, and then he looked at the picture that hung over the wall 'ah! You are talking about this...' he pointed at his portrait on the wall, and his hand affectionately glided on the bottom of the picture 'this is my twin brother... Kong Yi Fan, he died five years ago and I am the last living successor of this estate.' Then he came towards me 'Living in a place like Churchyard Street, doesn't mean that I am dead too... Geez, women!'

I blushed and looked down the floor. Seriously, how could I read Kong Yi Fan as Kong Fei Tan! He came across the room with a pen...

"I believe you have a parcel that belongs to me."

7th November is a special date to me, cuz two years back, at 2013, my grandmother passed away at the same day.

I actually have a Churchyard Street in our locality. The churchyard is now filled with houses (can't think that people actually are living on the Churchyard) but anyhow, that place still give me creeps... it's like I am living and trading randomly over deadbodies.

There is no song that inspired me on this segment; I actually had a nightmare similar to this.

Somebody requested a Feitan Smut which I might do actually but don't know when...

Keep with me, (as I fall apart)... nah joking...
