Chapter 36
TWO HOURS LATER
"We got a plan" Kate said.
"Let's hear it" Jay said.
"We send Alpha team at midnight, and they wait for the guards to switch. In that small amount of time, they take possition around where the guards are posted. They kill the guards, then we send in the rest of the pack in, and kill as many wolves as we can before they wake up" Humphrey said.
"It'll probably work, but i know that it didn't take you that long to plan that" Daniel said.
"I know" Kate said giggling.
"Hey guess what?" Angel asked.
Daniel and Kim sighed, knowing what was coming next.
"What?" Kate asked.
"Guess what Kim and Daniel smelled like when they got back" Angel said.
"No way" Kate said.
"Ya then they left, and came back clean and soaking wet" Angel said.
"We didn't want everyone knowing about it" Kim said.
"Well, i wouldn't mind everyone knowing" Daniel said.
Kim elbowed him in the ribs, and whispered something in his ear. It must have been bad because Daniels look of joy turned into one of fear. He rapidly nodded, and she smiled.
"We all need to go to sleep. We're leaving at mid-night" Kate said.
"Good, I'm still tired" Daniel said.
"Of course you are, you used all your energy on Kim" Jay said.
"Well Kim was worth it" Daniel said.
"Aww, Thanks" Kim said.
"No thank you" Daniel said.
"Okay, i'm out of here" Angel said.
"Me too" Kate said.
"Yep" Humphrey agreed.
"Nasty" Jay said.
Daniel looked at Kim after watching their friends leave. He couldn't help but smile.
"What are you smiling at?" Kim growled.
"All alone" Daniel said winking.
"No, No, No. Never work out right before a mission" Kim said.
"Isn't their an exception?" Daniel asked.
"Nope, beside. if we had sex right now, all you would be thinking about while we're out there is my ass" Kim said.
"That's all i'm going to be thinking about anyways" Daniel said.
Kim giggled "Come on, Let's get some sleep".
"Alright" Daniel sighed.
Kim curled up in a tight ball, and Daniel curled up around her. They both said their good nights, and fell asleep.
NINE HOURS LATER
Every one was awake, getting ready for the assualt. They started their march towards the north. There was no need to be quiet now, but as soon as they got a mile away from the target it was dead silence.
"Stop" Humphrey whispered to the first line.
After they stopped the wolves behind them stopped too.
"Alpha squad will move forward, and wait for the guards to switch. It might be a while, so we'll have to be patient" Kate said.
"Let's go" Daniel said.
"Yep, Ready" Kim said.
"Come back to us when you take care of the guards" Humphrey said.
Alpha team fanned out, and hid a close to where the guards were stationed. The guards were possitioned fifty yards from eachother. Alpha team had five wolves. After they did their job that would leave them with a two hundred and fifty yards of clearance. That would deffinatly give them enough room to sneak in. They waited 30 minutes, that's a long time to do nothing, and still stay concintrated. Finally the guards were in sight. They looked over their guards, to see what they were going against. They were big, but not enough to stop alpha team. Jay had an espeacially big guard.
"Of fucking course" Jay whispered.
When the guards got close, they jumped out of their hiding spots, and slit the guards throat. They caught the bodies before they hit the ground and gently laid them on the ground. When Jay tried to catch the guard, He fell over from the extra weight.
The other guards heard a loud rustle noise.
"What was that?".
"Probably that fat fuck sleeping on the job again".
The rest of Alpha team snuck over to where Jay was and lifted Fat Basterd off of him. Jay got up, and they made their way back to the rest of the pack.
"We killed the guards" Jay said.
"Alright, Let's move. We want to get this done as fast as possible" Kate said.
Once they made it past the front lines, they had to find where the pack kept their wolves. The wandered through the snow, until they stumbled apon a group of wolves sleeping. They quietly slit their throats and moved on. They got over the hill, and found the rest of the pack. Two hundred wolves, sleeping, completely unaware of their pressence.
"This is going to be great" Daniel said.
They slowly moved on, silently killing all the wolves they crossed. One hundred wolves killed, no problem. One of the enemy wolves woke up, and looked around to see one hundred an forty wolves sneaking around killing his friends.
"INTRUDERS".
All the western wolves jumped, but not as much as the northan pack did. They were all engaged by enemies. They may have out numbered them, but they were big wolves. Humphrey saw the leader watching the battle.
"Kate, fallow me" Humphrey yelled.
The leader saw two wolves come after him. He prepared to fight, but he didn't know he was facing the two best fighters in Jasper. Humphrey charged him first fallowed by Kate. He dodged Humphrey's body, but couldn't get away from his claws. Humphrey raked his claws across his body. Weighed down by the sudden pain, He was unable to get away from Kate's attack. She rammed against him at full force, and knocked him on his back. He tried to get up, but Humphrey slammed him back onto the ground. Kate jumped in for the kill, and got her teath around his neck. He kicked wildly, trying to save his life. Kate was cut multiple time on the stomache, but she wasn't about to let go. The kicking stopped, and his body went limp. The leader went down without much of a fight.
"Nothing can stop the two of us" Humphrey said.
"Humphrey" Kate said with clear signs of pain in her voice.
Humphrey ran to her aid and helped her lay down on the ground. He rolled her over on her back to check the wounds. blood poured out of her cuts at a dangerouse rate.
"I'm going to get your mom" Humphrey said.
"NO" Kate yelled "Don't leave me".
"But, i don't know what to do with your wounds" Humphrey said.
"Don't leave" Kate pleaded.
Humphrey laid down next to her, and tried to stop the bleeding with his paws. It was a lost cause, and he knew it. The wound was too big to stop the bleeding with his paws. He needed Eve right now, but she was busy fighting. A tear rolled down his cheek.
"I'll be fine" Kate said.
"Your loosing alot of blood" Humphrey said.
"I know, but it will freeze" Kate said.
"Not any time soon" Humphrey said.
Humphrey got up, and ran to Eve. Kate tried to yell for him, but she was too weak. All the noise around her stopped, and her vision blurred. The last thing she saw was Humphrey and Eve running towards her. Her vision faded and went black.
Eve grabbed some tree sap, and ran back. She spread the sap across her cuts. After a few seconds, the sap dried and stopped the leaking wounds.
"I don't have any medical wrap, it's back in my den" Eve said.
"Will she make it back?" Humphrey asked.
"I think so, but we have to move fast" Eve said.
The Western pack saw their leader being carried away on Humphrey, who was fallowing Eve. They quickly fallowed, and let The north finish off the last few wolves.
The war may be over, but now they had to worry about Kate.
HaHa, i left you with a cliff hanger. Muhahaha, and guess what. I'm putting this story on hold, BUT- i'm doing it because i'm going to start my new story. So now that you have something to wait for, you have to wait, but what are you waiting for. you have my story REACH to read while your waiting.
