Chapter 35

It took quite a while but then Sola could get out the words: "But…this isn't possible! We all were present at the day of her funeral, so sorry but I can't believe you because it's a fact that dead people can't get back up from their grave!" On one side Jobal was very shocked because of that sudden outburst from her second daughter but she could also understand where she was coming from, because she might have reacted the same way if their positions would have been switched. There was such a long silence that Jobal almost feared that Sola was ready to just end the Holo com call right here and right now but after her older daughter had finally recomposed herself again she said:

"Sorry for that Mom, I didn't mean to sound so harsh but I feel a little bit overwhelmed with this situation right now and I hope you understand where I'm coming from."

Jobal smiled warmly at her older daughter as she said: "There's no need to apologize for anything Sola, the day of Padme's funeral was very hard for all of us and now seeing her alive has been very hard for me and your father to digest at first but as impossible this whole thing may seem, Padme is here with us again and I want you to meet her in our house in the Lake Country." Knowing how hard this must be for her to digest, Jobal wanted to give her older daughter all the time that she needed to decide what to do because she didn't want to push her in this difficult situation. Sola tried her best to consider for a couple of minutes, that it was actually true what her mother had just told no matter how hard it was to wrap her head around all of this and there was only one thing that she had no doubt about: She was so thankful to know that her husband was not only holding onto her right hand the entire time but also that he tried his very best to soothe her by drawing circles with his other free hand onto her back because if he wouldn't have been by her side at this moment she would have probably fainted right on the spot after her mother had delivered that shocking news to her.

It took quite a while to recompose her again, but being aware of the fact that everybody involved in this conversation was giving her all the time that she needed to recover from this shock; she finally took one deep breath and tried her best to come up with some words to say. Sola and her husband looked deeply into each other's eyes for a moment, the two just knowing each other so well that they understood each other without words and she knew that his look was saying more than a thousand words were able to say: I'm here to support you and I won't leave your side the entire time.

Instead of saying anything in response to that look from him, which was so much full of love for her she just kissed his left cheek and then looked back at mother now ready to speak:

"My sister being alive is real miracle and to be honest I really don't know what to say right now, just that I have so many questions and that I can't wait to see her again."

Jobal was happy to hear that from Sola and was very anxious to see how the reunion between the two would go and to end holo com call she said: "Okay good then I will see you and your husband at our house in the Lake Country very soon." After the call had been ended by her mother Sola and her husband sat down on the couch in the living room and she could see on her husband's face that he was still having a hard time wrapping his head around what just had happened.

Jobal and Ruwee Nabberie's house

Jobal then returned to the living room where her husband, Padme and her children had been anxiously waiting for her return. Because Padme was the most curious person in the room, when it came to her sister's reaction to the surprising news she was the first to ask: "Did you tell Sola the news yet?" Jobal wasn't surprised one bit as her second daughter asked that, because her instinct as a mother had already told her that Padme was really looking forward to be reunited with her sister after being separated from each other for all those years.

Padme's feelings were a little bit split when it came to seeing her sister again, of course she looked forward to see her again but on the other hand she was also kind of nervous even if wasn't so sure why exactly that was the case.

"Sola was shocked to hear the news and it honestly took her quite a while to even consider the possibility that you could really be alive after all." Then Jobal looked at her other daughter waiting how she handled the whole thing, knowing that this whole situation wasn't very easy to handle for her but she and her husband would be there by her side to give her all the emotional support that she needed in this very difficult time.

Of course Padme understood her sister's position because she would probably react the same way if the roles would have been reversed. She thought for a while about what to reply to the whole thing that she had just heard and after she had taken one deep breathe the former Senator said: "Is coming here to see me?"

"Yes she is on way from Theed to the Lake Country as we speak and I can already say that she is really looking forward to see you." Jobal answered with a big smile on her face and she could that her husband was also very happy about the fact that the family was whole was once again after Padme had surprisingly returned to Naboo.

An hour later

Together with her husband Danred Sola reached the house of her parents in the Lake Country, which had been their secret sanctuary all those years during the occupation of Naboo by the Empire because they did have the feeling that the Capitol Theed wasn't a safe place to be anymore. As he could sense very well how nervous his wife still was, he softly intertwined his hand with hers so that she knew that he wouldn't leave her side and would give her all the emotional support that she needed in this very difficult situation. She warmly smiled at him for a moment as they still stood outside of her parent's house and then she decided that she was now ready to go inside and see this person again, that she had thought was dead for the last couple of years.

Being here again at her parent's house of course brought back a lot of memories, like the last two times were she had seen Padme and Anakin together before the big war against the Separatists Movement had begun and they didn't see each other much less than they wanted to. As she finally entered the living room of the house, she stood there in the doorframe for quite a while and thought: It's really her! But how is this even possible and has Anakin survived the war too? As she saw that Sola had entered the room, Padme got up from the couch because she wanted to be the first to take the initiative, as it was pretty obvious that her older sister was still unsure what to do at this moment.

"It's so good to see you and Danred again after all those years and I know that you have a lot of questions to ask me and I will certainly answer them all." Padme said to break the silence between them, because she surely didn't want it to get too awkward between them and then patiently waited for her response.

"It's really some kind of miracle to see you again, the day of your funeral was not only a very sad day for the entire family but also such a sad day for the rest of the planet too. Who is responsible for bringing you back to life?" This one question was definitely the most important for her as it was so surreal to see her again after she had seen her dead body placed into a casket.
