What the Frag? How did I get here again? These questions circled around her processor as she looked up at the blood-red optics of Megatron. Pale green orbs watched as the decepticon leader grin with such satisfaction that was unheard of. She was sitting in his palm, like a little lost kitten, not moving since the claws of death were right in front of her. She was scared, but then again she wasn't. Serenity knew that all it took was half a nano-second for Megatron to get angry and she would be dead, but that really didn't seem to faze her. She wasn't sure why she felt this way, but perhaps it was because she went through so much. After all the hardships and pain, she finally grew a shell to protect her from those who wish to harm her.

"You aren't scared… why is that?" Megatron asked in a surprisingly calm tone.

"I don't know." She answered truthfully.

Megatron tilted his head before sneering, "Perhaps you should figure that out. We have matters to discuss, later." He stood from his throne with the youngling in his hand. Walking through the base he came upon his personal courters. Placing her on the large berth he turned to her and growled a warning to her. "You are to stay here, do not even think about escaping, we wouldn't want your energon to be plastered all over the floors and walls." He left as soon as he entered, he didn't turn back because he knew that she would stay, after all where would she go, the base was deep in space.

Nodding to the large Decepticon leader she relaxed slightly, though it was kind of hard, since she was on the Nemesis. She was trying to think, how this situation became to be. Diego Garcia had been discovered by Megatron and his goons.

~~FLASHBACK~~

We were just enjoying the sun. Soaking up the rays and replenishing our energy that was it, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, Frenzy, Ravage, and I were just lying there on the tarmac. Unfortunately nothing could ever prepare us, for what was about to happen.

BOOM!

A hanger was the first target.

Sunny and Sides went on alert almost immediately. Swords unsheathe, just as the alarms went off. Both of my brothers took point and surrounded me. Frenzy clambered onto my back, hiding, as Ravage stood at my side. I was scared.

Mechs, and humans ran for the hanger wondering what just happened.

Not even a minute later, another explosion ripped through the air.

I had to duck as debris flew through the air around me. Behind me two more hangers were blown to the sky, it was then I knew that this wasn't just some accident. We were under attack.

Sirens screamed from the air horns as chaos began to ensue around me. Hot fire licked at my back as I looked around. Destruction surrounded me, tears sprung to my eyes as I looked at the death around me. I could see my comrades, humans that fought for the same thing I did, just lying there, unmoving. I've seen death before, but not like this. My hands shook with fear as I turned my attention back to Sunny and Sides.

They were looking all around but me, I knew they were looking for the enemy. They unfortunately didn't have to look far.

A familiar F-22 skyrocketed through the air. He was not alone, for right behind him was an army of Decepticons. Missiles were launched just as bullets were released. It was a war zone as the two clashed.

Explosions took my hearing away as I covered my frail frame. I still had no idea what was going on, except that we were under attack. It was Sideswipe who grabbed me around my middle and was rolling away. Grasping his fingers, I tried to call up to him. I wanted to know where we were going.

The scenery was becoming a blur around me as he rolled at high speeds. I could distinctly hear Sunny cursing behind us, but that was all. My processor was working overtime, silencing the noise around me, but only letting me hear certain things.

A scream ripped through my mouth as a silver mech with purple pin striping threw himself in front of Sideswipe.

"SUNNY! CATCH!" Sideswipe threw me over his head, just as the mech threw a punch at him.

I flew through the air with a blank processor, praying to Primus, that Sunny would catch me, not a second later; large black hands that belonged to my brother caught me. The air rushed out of my system as I looked at my brother, thankful. But it was a moment that didn't last.

Another scream ripped through my throat as a sword pierced Sunny's chassis, from behind. Tears poured down my face as I looked at the shocked expression of my brother. "SUUNY!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. Pain flared through my spark as I saw him drop.

Clawed hands grasped my small form as I cried out, pleading for him to get up. I could barely see through my tears and screams. All I wanted to do was get down on the ground and heal my brother. I couldn't lose him, not after what he's done for me.

Above me, a cold hearted laughter greeted my ears. Looking up I saw that toothy grin. Megatron held me in his grasp. Fear gripped my spark once more as I looked at the fear Decepticon leader. It was not the first time I was in his clutches, but that didn't mean anything now.

"Put her down Megatron." Optimus commanded from behind.

Megatron turned around sneering. "Prime, what a surprise."

I watched Optimus approach as a smile graced my lips, behind the great Autobot leader stood Ratchet. Around the base I could feel the others as they fought with all they could against the enemy. Now it was our time to shine.

Megatron stepped away from the mech he impaled and towards Optimus. With his prisoner clutched safely in his claws he growled at his brother. "How much does she mean to you, Prime." He asked as he clutched her tighter.

I cried out in pain as a claw scrapped along my arm.

The battle seemed to slow as the bots and humans watched with concern eyes and optics. Mechs and femmes growled, humans clutched their guns. They took a step forward to try and save their youngling. They wanted her out of his clutches and back into their own.

It was Optimus that held a hand up, to stop them. "More than you will ever know, Megatron." He replied with emotion. It feared him to know that their base had been easily found, but what was worse, to see his little one in the clutches of his brother. Serenity didn't belong there; she belonged here on his side of the field, safe from harm. "She is but a youngling, Megatron. Do not destroy her youth with the useless war."

Megatron chuckled deeply as he shifted his prisoner, so she was close to his chassis. "You are wrong Prime, for she has already stepped deep within this war." He left no action from anyone; he transformed swiftly into his cybertronian jet and skyrocketed to the sky. His army of mechs followed close behind.

Inside I screamed from release. I wouldn't and couldn't go down like this. I pounded on the glass, hoping to crack it. I had to break free; I had to get back to my brothers, to everyone who fought for me. I couldn't lose them now. Tears blurred my vision as I pounded away, I have to break free, that was the only thing I could process at the moment.

It was only seconds, perhaps minutes, before I was restrained. Cable wrapped around me and pulled me to the seat. I vaguely remember the cable holding me close as my eyes drifted close. The darkness of space and Earth looking from below, were the last things I remember as pitch blackness took me.

~~END FLASHBACK ~~

The room was vast as she sat on the berth. Her processor was whirling as everything came back. Tears formed and then fell as she remembers Sunny falling, and her comrades dying.

"S-Serenity?" A scratchy voice asked from behind.

Turning her head to look behind her left shoulder, she couldn't help but give a gentle but tearful smile. Instantly reaching back she pulled the small mech into her arms and cried. She held him close, never wanting to let him go.

Frenzy purred into her neck, trying to heal what has been lost. He knew he wasn't much but it was the thought that count… right?

She felt good to see that little Frenzy was here with her, but it still scared her to know that she was all the way up in space. Clearly away from her brothers and the Autobots that protected her. Holding Frenzy close to her spark, she wandered if they could even reach her from where she was… Would they go through all that trouble to bring her back? She knew her brothers would, the femmes, Ravage, all the first wave of mechs who landed on Earth and perhaps even the ones that came later… but would they really take the time to save her from Megatron.

"He's o-okay."

Head laying on top of Frenzy's head she asked. "Who?"

"Sun-Sunny."

"How?" Her breath hitched in her throat. Spark aching she wanted to know if her dear brother was well.

"Ratchet s-says so."

"H-How do you know that?"

"Soundwave."

It was a simple statement, one that held so meaning for her. Tears dropped down her pale face and frenzy's head. Clutching the mech closer to her she cried. She didn't know how he got the information, but she didn't really care, for all she knew was that Sunny was still kicking down there.

Frenzy stayed quite letting his friend cry, for now he would keep his communications with Soundwave quiet. He didn't wanted Megatron or the other cons to find out, or he be scrap metal. Though it was weak signal, it would do until they had to call for him, or if they were to make their own escape, either way he would keep his creator in the loop.

"You have her?" A male voice asked.

"Yes, though why you still want her, still makes me wonder what you're true intentions are." A metallic voice answered back.

"I've told you many times before, Megatron." He growled. "I need her and that is that."

"It would be wise not to take that tone with me, Dr. Salvatore." Megatron growled as his voice thundered through the feed. Claws tapped together as he looked at the puny human. He still wondered why he even made a deal with the fleshling. That is if you really called this a deal, the human was going to lose, he would make sure of it.

"Then I shall have her by the end of the week." Salvatore stated as he cut the feed.

Megatron watched as the cold hazel orb man disappeared from the screen. When blackness met his blood-red optics he chuckled. He would have her alright, but at a cost.

Speaking of the femme, his processor whirled around her new appearance. It was much different than from her human skin the last time. She was now covered with cybertronian metal. Her new look made him realized that she was now a true cybertronian, a great honor, he supposed. Chuckling once more, he could see the puzzle pieces coming together. It would just be a matter of time until everything fell into place.

Recharging protocols have been going off for a while now, but she had easily ignored them. She couldn't sleep, not in the place she was. She didn't know what was hiding in the shadows, or what lay beyond the door.

Was it morning or night? She couldn't tell for sure. All Serenity saw was the darkness of space. Twinkling stars were the only thing that broke up the blackness, but other than that it was dark. She felt like she was being swallowed into a black hole, never to be found again… but then again she felt peaceful and safe. Was it okay for her to feel this way, while in the clutches of Megatron?

Her pal, Frenzy was once again hooked up against her back. He felt safer that way and out of the prying optics of Megatron. It would be a terrible sight if Megatron was to get a hold of him. Serenity didn't mind at all, and felt a little safer with him along for the ride.

She was brought out of her thoughts, as the door hissed open. Pale green optics shifted over to the opening and watched as a grumbling Megatron step in. Standing up slowly, she watched him come over to the berth.

Blood red optics watched with tired optics at the femme. Not caring for the cry of alarm from her as he picked her up and deposited her on a high shelf. Once he saw that she wouldn't fall from the height he turned and laid on his berth. Conversing with underlings and fleshlings was tiring. His optics closed as he started to initiate his recharge cycle.

She could see it and feel it. Confusion crossed her features at the power she felt from his spark. Serenity thought that he would hide it from her, but instead it was there for her to see and feel. Startled she felt with her own spark, she wanted to see what Megatron had. Anger and regret, hit her full blasts. A startle gasp escaped her as she looked at the Decepticon leader.

Optics blinked open and looked at the youngling. He saw the startle and surprised emotions as they crossed her face. Curious to what she was thinking he asked. "Do I amuse you, youngling?"

Serenity looked up and nodded.

"Explain?" He commanded.

"Your spark, does it always hold anger and regret?"

Recharge protocols canceled as he sat up. Blood red optics stared into the pale green orbs of the youngling. He was not all that prepared for what she had asked. His spark did hold anger, but regret it was unheard of.

She sat there on the shelf, head tilted to the side. Legs dangling off the edge, the height didn't bother her, for she was used to it by now. "You cannot hide your feelings from your spark. From the day you were sparked, it knew about everything. It knows more about you than you do yourself."

"Do not lecture me on what I already know youngling." Megatron growled.

Serenity sighed she was going to just say what her spark is telling her, if she lost her life for speaking her mind, then so be it. "I understand the anger that your spark holds, but this feeling of regret… it startled me. Why would the great Decepticon Lord feel regret? Is this really what your spark is feeling or is it just a thought? Until I looked deeper, it wasn't just your spark that felt regret but also your soul."

"How?" A menacing growl erupted from the berth. Megatron did not like how she said she looked deeper; he wanted to know the meaning about that.

"I-I know you saw how I brought back Bluestreak, what you don't know is that I have another ability. I can feel and read sparks. I can see the lights that dwell within your spark and soul." She had to stop for Megatron was now standing in front of the shelf. She saw the surprise in his optics as he grasped her around her middle and brought her back over to his berth.

Sitting down, Megatron sat with his hand open. He wanted to see her power for himself. "Show me."

Nodding Serenity would do as he asked; she didn't want to be on the receiving end of his wrath. Sitting there in his hand she calmed her nerves and breathed in and out a few times before relaxing into his palm. Her power pushed its way through her hands and into the that black mech. She was searching, looking for the answers that Megatron's spark was withholding. Pain, regret, power, life, all grasped her spark as she searched. She was sure a light glow was surrounding her body as she dwelled deeper into the soul.

He watched her with a silent but deadly aura. Megatron was very intrigued to hear what she found, but also felt odd, to know that this femmeling could feel the emotions of his spark just from reaching out with her power. In all his days of being alive and roaming the world for power, he never came to know of someone as remarkable as her. This gift she received was truly transforming, to be able to feel emotions, to see the souls of ones spark, to practically bring back those who are passing. It was a gift he wanted to have, to control, to make his own. This youngling was his way to defeating Prime once and for all. He didn't care that he would be using her; it was his right after all.

"You can't harness this power Megatron."

He snarled as he looked at the femme. "Did you just read my processor?"

Serenity chuckled softly, "Your spark told me."

His grip tightened, claws scratched her metal skin, as he seethed at her. "What have you found youngling?"

"You don't get it do you?" She looked into his blood-red optics with sadness. Her arms ached where the metal was scratched but she ignored it for now. "This war is killing you." A cry of pain escaped her as she was gripped harder. A crunching sound came from her arms, as the metal began to break underneath the force.

"No war can kill me." Anger seethed through his spark at the mere mention of war killing him. He was Megatron, the Harbringer of Death.

"Y-You're wrong." Tears broke from the corner of her eyes. "War kills everyone. You may not know it, but it does. You've already lost sight for what you wanted to accomplish." Another cry of pain escaped her as claws pierced her arm. She watched as blue energon glided down Megatron's claw. Razor sharp teeth snarled at her as she was brought closer to his blood-red optics. She was over stepping his boundaries, she knew that, but he had to know.

"Do not test me, youngling."

"You have to remember, go back millions of years ago, go back to when the towers reached the stars, and go back to when everything was peaceful. Remember the love, the excitement, the thrill to knowing you were doing good for your people. Remember the younglings, the sparklings that lived. Remember how life used to be." Serenity gripped Megatron's claws with her hands as she stared into his optics. "It's not too late to lose it for good. You can have it all back, just reach deep within in your spark."

"Cybertron is dead."

There was a short pause.

"…It won't be for long."

Optics narrowed, as he looked at the femme before him. What did she mean by that? Cybertron has been dead for eons, what could possibly bring it back from the dead? Was there something he missed, he himself has searched the whole planet to return it back to the way it was.

Serenity watched as confusion tumbled through his spark and his optics. She knew that she had stumped him, but she also knew that he would eventually find out. Looking away and out the large window she watched as stars rushed by, she saw Earth silently watching from below. There were only two others who knew of her task, Optimus Prime, and Primus the one who gave her this task. One more couldn't hurt, could it?

"Cybertron has only been resting; he's trying to gain the strength that was lost to him. Even though his fellow comrades have lost faith in him, he still believes that somewhere out there, there is a power source that will help him become the one he was before. That power source is… me. I was given this task, the moment I agreed with Primus. It was my destiny to reach out and grasp for this unknown power. Even if my life is forfeit I would gladly give it away to save a race not of my own."

Megatron was stunned at first before deep chuckles reached the audios of the youngling. "You are a fool, to give your life away so easily."

"Am I? What about you?" Serenity gave him a sharp glare. "You're the one who gave your life away to this war, a never ending battle just to gain power. You'll never become as powerful as you think you will. Your spark and soul will never let you. You will forever be weak…"

The claw hand that was holding her suddenly flung her into a wall. A dull thud vibrated around her ears and then the pain hit her. Pain flared down her back, a small squeak from Frenzy, made her remember that he was still there. If she had still been human, she was sure she would be paralyzed from the waist down. Tears flowed freely from her pale green orbs as she looked up at the seething decepticon lord. She felt his anger, it seemed to wrap around her spark, nearly suffocating her.

He wanted to strangle her, to crush her spark, to rid her of this world, but he couldn't. She was now an important pawn in his plan. He would find another place to recharge that night. Growling at the femmeling he turned to leave.

"He's never given up on you, nor has he lost his faith in you." She gasped in pain.

Megatron didn't turn around, he didn't need too for he knew who she was talking about.

Serenity watched him leave, as the tears flowed freely down her face. The universe was harsh and unforgiving. Was there anything in this world that would make it better? Anything at all?

Frenzy slowly crawled over Serenity's shoulder. Being careful of her injuries he curled up in her lap. It was all he could do; he didn't like to see her crying for their sake.

It wasn't long before exhaustion, and the pain got to her. Orbs closed softly as she held Frenzy close to her. She didn't want to lose him or herself as darkness claimed her. Welcoming the sleep, her dreams took her to a far off place where towers reached for the stars and energon flowed through the banks. No one else was seen in the metal city, but it was alright with her. Serenity wanted to lose herself in the hustle bustle of activity. She wanted everything to disappear so she could relax, even though when she awoke it would all return to her.

"The time is near small one."

I wish to apologize for taking so long. We're moving my grandparents into a new house and it's sort of taken my time away from typing. I hope this chapter will satisfy my precious readers and I'm sorry again for the delays. I want to thank my reviewers and the new people that have joined. I will try my hardest to get another chapter out with in a week or so, but I'm not promising anything. I need to gather my thoughts, since this chapter was a little on the hard side to complete. I didn't want to end it as it was, but I just couldn't find the right words to move one, so I've decided to leave it as it is.

Untill next time my cybertronian kittens.

Till All Are One!
