On the screen I saw a camera panning from one demigod to another as we looked around. All of us looked utterly confused. The lights came up slightly and I could see the area around me. There was a stream on one side, a group of trees, and a little tower off in the distance. I heard the crunching of leaves behind me. I drew my sword and spun around. It was Caspian. I hugged him.
"What's happening?" he whispered.
"Do I look like I know anymore than you?" I replied tiredly.
We heard a little more crunching. It was Felicity.
"Hey, Felicity," I said quietly.
"Hi," she muttered.
"Caspian," she said, "there's a stream. Control it."
"Hey!" he said raising his hands in surrender, "Fine queen of the weirdos, I'll do it."
He marched over to the stream and made the water ris.
"Now what genius?" He spat.
"I'm going to get a vantage point from that tower. Keep watch for that Amber girl. She might be dangerous."
I watched as Felicity headed off. I stood with Caspian. There was a splashing noise from a little further down the river. It was Amber.
"Amber-" I got cut off as a cyclops emerged from the water behind her.
"Look out!" Caspian yelled.
Amber spun around and came face to face with the monster that made a slash at her. She pulled out her spear and stabbed it in the eye. Her spear crackled with electricity and the monster fell to the ground.
"You were saying?" she asked.
I shook my head. This girl has spunk, that's for sure. The yellow mess of monster dust began to reform in the water. Caspian quickly controlled the water to whisk away the remaining dusk before it reformed. An arrow zoomed past my head and onto the ground in front of me. I couldn't see any archer from where I was standing, but there had to be one around here. I grabbed my bow and nocked an arrow into place. The lights dimmed once more so that I was in total darkness. Something moved quickly to my left. I spun that way. There was another movement behind me. I kept my bow steady. Something grabbed my arms from behind and knocked me over the head. I heard Amber yell and Caspian shouting back confused. I struggled against my captor, but to no avail. My vision went out.
I stood groggily. I was still in the arena type thing, but the lights were all on. I was in a stone cube. That is the only way to describe this small prison I was stuck. I could stretch my arms and easily touch both walls. Of course my weapons were gone and the only thing I had was a piece of bread. Obviously my captor had never seen me eat before. My stomach growled thinking of food. There was, yet again, iron bars blocking me from the "outside world". I slumped into the corner. I had an agonizing headache. Hmmm wonder why. I heard a male voice outside the cube. Yay. Another guy. I laughed. Silently. To my self. I had a few tricks up my sleeve and one guy wasn't about to take me down. A guy did come into view. Just not who I expected. I didn't even know who the guy was! I wish I did… But I didn't. Moving along. He stepped in front of the bars, blocking the little light source I had.
"Nice to meet you in person, Sophia," the guy said.
I scrambled to my feet.
"What do you want?" I demanded.
"Didn't you know that you shouldn't ask the bad guy that? It ruins the plan."
If I could see his face, there would probably be a silent evil laughter lighting it up.
