Thank you who continue to read/review/follow/favorite this story. It means a lot. I know this story (as well as my other ones) doesn't get updated enough, so I appreciate your patience. I'm in the process of writing another Liason story based on the current storyline on the show. I'm not completely happy with how the writers are writing Liason (her keeping 'Jake's' true identity among other things). I love them together, but in my opinion, the storyline needs fixing, so I'm putting my own spin to 'fix' what's going on as well as maybe some past storylines. I love Liason together (as you will know from my stories) and even though they will be endgame, there will be some bumps along the way. I know some of you do not like Billy Miller as the new Jason. That's fine as everyone has their preference. I will always love Steve Burton, but being he's no longer on the show, I've come to accept BM as the new Jason. It's your choice on who you picture as the new Jason in my new story, which will be called 'Love Me Like You Do' by the artist Ellie Goulding. I hope you will consider reading it when it's posted. I will give you a heads up when the story is ready to start. It won't be updated regularly as I don't have enough chapters written. Thanks for listening. I don't known GH, but I do own the plot.

Chapter 36

(It is now 12:45pm. Sonny and Jason are still at the warehouse supervising a shipment. Sonny looks at his friend now and then and can tell he's in a state of panic. Sonny has seen him nervous about the business, but never like this about something personal. Jason checks his cell phone what felt like every thirty seconds to make sure his phone is on and the volume is on full blast. Damn, he thought to himself. He didn't know if the bad feeling had anything to do with the shipment or Elizabeth. Maybe something entirely different. Jason made Ashbrook promise to call him or bring his girl to him if something happened)

Sonny: "You're gonna give yourself a panic attack or a heart attack with the way you're acting right now. You said so yourself that she's with Ashbrook, right?"

Jason: (nods) "Yeah."

Sonny: "We trained him when he was hired. We did a criminal background as well as a complete history background on him. If he committed any felonies, it would've shown up."

Jason: (sighs) "Yeah, but Max, Milo, Johnny O, and Francis said something on the night of my engagement party that got to me. I haven't been able to shake it."

Sonny: (tilts his head) "What's that?"

Jason: (shakes his head) "It's probably nothing. But they said for someone who claims to stay on top of things, Ashbrook didn't know about my plans for Elizabeth."

Sonny: (snorts) "Yeah, usually everyone makes it a point to know everything."

Jason: "I spoke to Stan shortly afterwards and he assured me everything checked out with Ashbrook. I've never had any problems with any of the guards. I've always told them if something is not right or if they have a problem, to speak up. I gotta say this is a first that my four main men spoke negatively about a guard I've had for a few years now. They haven't had a problem with him before. But that all changed recently."

(Jason sighs deeply as he tries to figure out his next move. Lucky and Sam are at his apartment talking business)

Sam: "Lucky, how many times do you need to check with Ashbrook on the plan? He knows it by heart." (scoffs) "He should. We've discussed it enough."

Lucky: (shakes his head) "He has a cocky attitude. He's had one all along."

Sam: (smirks) "So have you."

Lucky: "And I'm sure you two complain about me as well."

(Sam casually shrugs, answering Lucky's question. He rolls his eyes and shakes his head)

Sam: "What time is it?"

(Lucky checks his watch and smiles evilly at his accomplice)

Lucky: "It should be happening any minute now."

(Sam smiles in excitement)

Sam: "Showtime."

(Elizabeth and Ashbrook are on their way to the college for Elizabeth's painting class. Elizabeth checks her watch to see it's 12:50pm. She looks at Ashbrook."

Liz: "My class is going to start soon. Is there a reason you're driving under the speed limit?"

(Ashbrook laughs nervously at her concern)

Ashbrook: "Sorry. I guess I just don't want to risk a speeding ticket."

(Elizabeth looks at him in confusion. She knew the other guards were never worried about a speeding ticket. She wasn't sure if something was wrong or if she was just being silly. She then notices that Ashbrook is taking a different scenic route to the college)

Liz: "Evan, why are you going this way? You've never taken this way."

Ashbrook: "Morgan didn't want to draw a lot of attention on you...you know, being you'll be having a guard walk in with you."

(She looks ahead, but her eyes move all over the place in nervousness. Ashbrook parks in the back college parking lot where there are empty cars around. He gets out of the car and walks around to Elizabeth's side. He opens the door and lets her out. She gets out and opens the back passenger door to retrieve her backpack and other necessities. All of a sudden, she feels someone cover her mouth)

Liz: (muffled screams) "Help! Someone help!"

(Elizabeth does her best to fend off her attacker. She wasn't sure who it was. She knew the only person that was with her was Ashbrook, but why would he want to attack her? She didn't know. She tries to back away, but finds that no use. She tries to bend down so she can slide away underneath her attacker, but that's no use either. The next thing she knows, a piece of cloth covers her mouth and the person holds her so tight around her stomach and arms that she is unable to move anymore. She does her best to continue to defend herself in a way that Jason taught her if she were ever in this position. She tries one last thing, by using the back of her black boots against the person's front leg that was covered in bone. They moan in pain)

Ashbrook: (angrily) "Bitch!"

(Elizabeth looks shocked as she recognized the voice. She didn't know what the fuck was going on. Why the hell was Ashbrook acting like this? The next thing she remembers is being knocked unconscious by the piece of cloth on her mouth that she knew contained chloroform. Elizabeth's body is practically useless being she's knocked out. Ashbrook carries her to the backseat and lays her down. The incident causes him to breathe heavily)

Ashbrook: "Morgan must've taught you a few moves." (chuckles) "Say goodbye to him...forever."

(At the warehouse, Jason can't take anymore of the unknown. He calls Ashbrook one more time. It rings five times before the guard picks up)

Ashbrook: "Hey, Jason. What's up?"

Jason: "What took you so long to pick up?"

Ashbrook: "Sorry. My phone was stuck in my pocket."

Jason: "Where's Elizabeth?"

Ashbrook: "She's in class."

Jason: "Where are you at?"

Ashbrook: "I'm in the doorway to the classroom looking right at your girl."

(Jason thinks for a moment before speaking again)

Jason: "I'm on my way."

Ashbrook: (confused) "Huh?" (chuckles) "Morgan, are you okay? You sound panicked."

Jason: "I want to see for myself that Elizabeth is there."

Ashbrook: (sighs) "Don't you trust me, Jason? You just spoke to her not even fifteen minutes ago. She is starting to get annoyed."

Jason: (angrily) "I don't give a fuck how long it's been since I last spoke to her, Ashbrook. Elizabeth knows the way I am. If I feel she's in danger, I want to see her for myself that she's okay."

Ashbrook: "Okay, boss, that's cool. I just know she was wondering why you were so panicky earlier."

Jason: "I'll be there in ten minutes."

(Ashbrook listens as Jason ends the call. He shrugs as he puts the phone into the pocket of his jeans. He can't help but smile in satisfaction)

Ashbrook: "You can check at the school all you want, Morgan. She won't be there."
