Hey all! So I'm finally on my 4 weeks off and am hoping to get a decent flow of updates written while I'm off. I'm only a couple of days late updating. So it's so good so far. Hope you're all having a lovely day and my thoughts are with Paris and France after the events of last Friday.
Lots of love,

The Surprise That Would Change Everything-Part 34:
Louisa was sat at the back of her maths class and could feel eyes looking at her. She moved nervously in her seat before looking at the work in front of her. She'd only just covered the work with Maura so was confident that she could get the answers easily, but everything seemed blurred now she was at school. She sighed before putting her thinking head on and began to attempt the questions.
Jane walked into the autopsy room to find it empty apart from the victim. She then saw Susie appear,
"What's up Chang?" she asked, "where's Maura?"
"On the phone I think. She'll be along soon," Susie replied before Maura appeared,
"Thank you Susie," Maura smile before Susie nodded and left.
"Where were you?" Jan questioned.
"Had to make a phone call," Maura replied before going over to the victim.
"Who was it to?"
"It was just a call I had to make."
"To check on Lou? You know you can't lie."
"Alight I was checking on Louisa. I know I shouldn't have. I just wanted to make sure that she was still there and safe." Jane nodded before Maura spoke again.
Louisa was sat in the canteen when a girl walked over to her. She didn't know what to do but she knew the security detail was watching so she remained calm.
"I heard you're new. My name's Jessica," the girl smiled, "thought you could use a friendly face." Louisa nodded watching her,
"I'm Louisa," she spoke looking at Jessica, still sizing her up.
Now Jane had the initial autopsy report and the victim's name the real work could begin. She had Nina and Frankie running background checks to see if anything stood out. Sadly they were having no luck and were hoping that Jane and Korsac would have more luck in the interview room.
Back at th school and Louisa had learnt tha she and Jessica were in most of the same classes so allowed the girl to stay with her. She wasn't talking much and Jessica knew she was nervous so let her speak when she wanted to. They headed to maths and Louisa smiled and sat down in the seat next to Jessica and waited for the lesson to begin.
Jane had finally spoken to the victim's wife who, was distraught as suspected about her husband's death, but was able to provide some information on what had been going on with her husband before his premature death. She wasn't going to ask about it there and then but the wife's information had slipped out in her grief so the detective had jotted it down and Frankie and Nina were rechecking everything with the new information they had and were tracking the victim's last movements.
The day began to pass, Jane trying to solve the case and beginning to interview suspects, following up on leads and creating a detailed timeline of the victim's last hours alive. That was now beginning to take shape and Maura's more detailed autopsy report was now leaning more towards a poisoned last meal that delayed death until the victim had died where he'd fallen down dead.
"We still don't know here the victim ate," Jane said frustrated, "and until we do we don't have a crime scene."
"Correction we now have a murder scene," Frankie spoke as he walked into the room, "our victim's last meal was at the Crab Shell. I've already been onto them and Korsac is heading down there now to get hold of anti formation that they can provide." Jane nodded before looking up as Maura entered the room.
"Your victim was allergic to seafood so wouldn't have eaten anything containing seafood which means your killer knew about the allergy. However I found traces of seafood in the victim's stomach. It must have been well concealed as your victim had no idea he was eating it. I also suspect that is how the poison got into his system," Maura informed the team.
She then began to explain the more detailed autopsy as she had more information than what she'd previously given Jane and some more details for the timeline. Jane smiled at Maura before looking up at the clock and swearing.
"Jane?" Maura questioned.
"We forgot about picking Lou up!" Maura gasped before they ran out of the room without a thought, leaving a group of colleagues with confused faces behind them.
