Chapter 37

Elena apartment

"Guys think where Sam could go?" Donna ask looking at team one.

"We don't know. He's not good, especially after this." Ed said.

"Where are the kids?" Jules asked.

"Joshua took them to a safe house." Wordy said.

"Why?" Jules asked confuse.

"When we first find out that you guys were taken Sam went to his father and almost beat him to death, thinking it was him. Then we found out it was the social worker." Ed said.

"Plus we threaten them that we knew that it was them abusing Sam and that they were the number one suspect in the kidnapping." Donna said.

"So that is why Joshua took the kids to a safe house."

"Hey boss, the kids are not with Joshua." Winnie said.

"What?" Everyone said except for Jules that didn't have a headset.

"Winnie what do you mean, where are the kids?" Greg asked.

"They are here with team two and Sam sister Natalie." Winnie said.

"What is going on?" Jules asked confuse.

"The kids are in the barn with Natalie and team two." Ed said.

"Decoy." Greg said.

"Oh god we have to go. Sam is going after his father. He and Joshua plan it." Jules said and they all ran to the car.

On the way there, Spike gave Jules a headset.

"Jules why you said they plan it. They couldn't have time for that." Wordy said.

"No they couldn't but they knew something would happen and they knew how to maneuver each pieces."

"She is right. Joshua knew that something was up the moment the kids were out. That is why he asked to take them. Plus he sends back team two with the kids, except for one." Greg said.

"Troy, he's ex-army." Ed said and sighs.

"They're protecting each other." Wordy said.

"They are protecting Sam." Jules said and they knew it was true. She just hopes that they get there in time.

"Boss, we have report of shot fire in the Royal York Hotel." Winnie said.

"We are too late." Jules whisper and put her hand in her stomach trying to get strength from her baby.

Safe house

"Ok you two take the back and we would take the front. Kill everyone, no one stay alive. And if you get Joshua save him, I would love a piece of him."

"Ok." Everyone said and they got in their position. On the count of three they broke into the safe house. All the lights were dark and they couldn't see or hear anything. One manages to make it to one of the bedroom and he notices three little body under the blanket. He took the opportunity and shot the three of them. There was no noise because they had silencer. When the guy turns around to walk out the Joshua grab him by the neck and broke it. In the back of the house Troy waited for the first guy to pass him before he grab the one in the end and snap his neck too. The other heard the tumble of the body falling and turn around but he was too late Troy took the shot and kill him. The last army guy knew something wasn't right but he was too angry and piss that he just wanted to kill someone, especially Sam and Joshua.

"Show yourself. Let do this man to man." The guy yells in the house. Then Troy and Joshua both step into the living room while turning the light on.

"I am here asshole." Joshua said.

"Two against one."

"Four against two and three kids, you shouldn't be talking about fairness when it took four coward to killed three kids." Troy snaps.

"It's just you and me." Joshua said and pulls his gun down. The big guy did the same and then they went added it. They threw each other punches and kicks until Joshua got the upper hand and beat him to death.

"Fuck you." The guy said through his busted mouth.

"This is for Sam." Joshua said before he snaps his neck too.

"What do we do now?" Troy asked.

"We call it in. They need proof that they broke in here and that they're army, like that we could arrest the general." Joshua said and sat down. He hasn't killed anyone one in cold blood in a long time, but this one he doesn't regret it.

"Ok. I am calling Winnie." Troy said and sat down too. He was glad he could help Sam. Even thought they were never together in the army. He heard about Sam Braddock and he admires him for the strong and loyal man he is.

A few minutes later Winnie and everyone at the barn knew what happened and they were sending a team to meet them.

Royal York Hotel

"Sam gives me the gun." Melissa said.

"No mom, it was my job."

"Please Sammy."

"No mom, I have nothing else to lose. This is the right thing. I kill everyone in my life he isn't any difference." Sam said and it broke her heart to hear her baby talk like that.

"Sam you have your hold future ahead of you. You have the kids and Jules. You need to be free to be with them. Let me do this. Let me do something right by you. You have sacrifice so much for us. Let me take care of you now." Melissa said sobbing and reaches into her hand and took the gun. At the moment the first responder came in.

"Pull the gun down and step away from it." They said and Melissa and Sam did as they asked. By the time team one got there. Sam and his mother was in hand cuff.

"What is going on?" Greg asked one off the uniform.

"They are not talking. And one of them killed the general." The guys said.

"Who did?"

"We don't know. We have no witnesses." The guy said and team one sighs.

"Boss Joshua and Troy just call, four army guys broke into the safe house and try to kill them. The army guys are all dead." Winnie said.

"He sends them to kill them." Wordy said.

"And now we can't prove it." Donna said and sighs.

"Sam." Jules said approaching him. He was staring at the same spot. Not looking at anyone, just a blank and guarder expression on his face.

"Jules take care of him." Melissa said when they got her up and into a car.

"I will." Jules said, but she knew that it might be too late. Sam looks gone already. Then they got him up.

"Watch it, you don't see he hurt. He has being shot." Jules snap and the officer gave her a sympathy nod. "We're going to take you out of there." Jules said to Sam and watch how they took the love of her life in a cop car.

"What are we going to do now?" Ed asked.

"We go to the barn and Jules to the hospital."

"No I am going with Sam." Jules said.

"No you know they have to process him. And if they don't talk, they won't be out on bail anytime soon. You being through hell too, you need to check on the baby before we get the kids."

"But."

"We are going. You know what, as a team too." Greg snap and walk away and everyone just stare at him.

"Come Jules let check on the baby that would be one less thing to worried about." Wordy said.

"The baby is fined."

"You have being shot too. It doesn't hurt to be careful." Wordy said and with that team one took Jules to the hospital while debating who's really killed the general and what is really going to happen now.
