Hey Shade guess what? I got this chapter finally done!
Great, and now let's see… are we getting close to the final battle?
Yes we are, but no time to talk about it we're going on! Also Robin's still out so he's not here right now!
Chapter 34: To The Smash Mansion!
Josh was inside The Mansion pacing back and forth looking at his sphere of darkness began to consume what seemed to be dark energy as he let out a loud sigh. Screams of agony could be faintly heard, but Josh stopped when one of his monitors' lights began to flicker. Turning an enlarging the video, his eyes widen seeing Warrior Kitty leading the others towards the mansion and they were getting closer than he anticipated. Angered, he clenched his fist before shutting the monitor off and looked at the one looking at the other Smash Rescuers, still trapped within his illusions. A smile crept upon his face as he snapped his fingers.
~Virtuality vs. Reality~
"So I got my boots on, got the right amount of leather and I'm doing me up with my friends in the back and we're going fight Josh but I know it doesn't matter. All we to do is defeat Jerk face! There's a thin line 'tween the dark side and the light side. Prepare to fight! It's a struggle gotta rumble trying to find it. But if we kill Josh~ That would the only thing we need to do~!" Aurora sang as she rode Ridley through Subspace with the others, but Shade and Shulk were towards the back getting annoyed by her singing, "Yeah if we killed him, then all of this madness will finally end~!"
"If you keep singing that song I swear I'm going to knock you out… permanently!" Shade yelled from the back.
"But why~ It passes time," Lauren said before looking back to Warrior Kitty and Aurora with Panda on her shoulder, "Plus Ridley only listens to Aurora for whatever reason, so you better let them pass the time."
"And if we don't?" Shulk asked before Aurora glared back at him before Ridley twirled around, catching only Shulk off guard, sending him falling down.
"Was that really needed?" Warrior Kitty asked.
"Hey, he wanted to see what would happen," She replied before making Ridley fly down so he landed back to where he was, "Now Shulk, can you please keep quiet until we get there?"
As Shulk sighed, the girls smiled and continued onward happily and not long after the girls decided to sing a song, which happened to be the time when they were getting close enough to the Mansion, but Aurora had Ridley stop a few feet.
"What's wrong? Can't you just barge in?" Shade asked before seeing what the girls were seeing, "Oh, so he's using a shield? Coward…"
"So he's spying on us," Warrior Kitty said before looking towards the ground, "Well, it seems we can't be flying in until we destroy this shield: Land here before we get shot out of the sky.
"On it."
Aurora gave the signal for him to land and when he did, they got off of Ridley just as they heard Josh's insane laughter. Getting ready to fight, they heard him stop just as they saw Subspace forming from the ground.
"So, it seems that you all have yet to give up," He said, "But… I can still win this war, because even if you defeat me, you can't restore things back to normal!"
"Even if we can't, we'll at least make sure that you won't any more worlds!" Lauren replied as her electricity began to spark, "I had enough of you and you're even worse than Sara."
"What can I say? I am more powerful than her after all."
"So, you coward behind a shield? Why don't you come out and face us?!" Shade yelled.
"I can do whatever I wish."
"Coward~!" Warrior Kitty and Aurora said in unison.
"And not mention Josh hasn't actually done anything and only Sara and I have actually done something before you revealed yourself," Lauren said aloud, "And no just getting us under your control doesn't count.
"It does too!"
"Coward Sue~!" The girls said in unison, "Josh is a coward! And he's so stupid~!"
"SHUT UP!"
"Well, if you want them too, and then come out of the Mansion before we make you," Panda replied.
"Heh, like I'd agree to that, but let's see how you are… without your friends!"
Before they could react, Subspace formed into their shadows and Aurora was the first to fall into the darkness, but unknowingly to Josh as they all fell down, Panda had fallen in with Aurora as Ridley took off into the sky.
~Virtuality vs. Reality~
"Argh… That hurts real bad," Aurora said as she finally got up in darkness, "Panda, are you alright?"
"…Nothing too damaging," He replied climbing back to her shoulder, "But it seems Josh had separated us."
"Great, just what we need. Now let's see exactly where we are."
Holding her sword out, the All Foreseeing Eye began to light up the sword only just enough to get a good range of view for the two. It seemed that they were in a room, but they could tell which room as they kept looking around until finally a door came into view. Breathing a sigh of relief, she went over to open the door before hearing a scream. Eyes widening, she noticed the long hall and turned left to locate who was screaming. Panda held on tight unless she finally stopped at a door bolted shut.
"Really? Does Josh think this is going to stop me?" She asked looking at Panda, "I've played enough games to know what to do here."
Raising her sword, she swung it and with one only that one hit, the door collapsed in front of them. Looking pass the dust, Aurora moved her sword to find another room with one huge door from Subspace staring right back at her. As the two entered, their eyes widen seeing the T.V screens looking all over the worlds, but she stopped seeing one showing all of Nintendo under Josh's control. The residents were suffering, but her eyes widen seeing another one looking at Earth before realizing what Josh was tying to do.
"Trying to… control both Nintendo and Earth?" She asked aloud walking over to only the computer, "Just… how far has Josh fallen?"
Her eyes saw the screens showing the Smashers and the remaining Smash Rescuers before looking back at the door where josh could be. Taking a deep breathe, she looked at the keyboard and began typing as fast as she could. Panda noticed her typing before seeing her click 'Enter.' Suddenly on the screen, the captives were released as some of the screen switched to look all around Earth, seemly find, including Nintendo. Typing some more codes in, she managed to see the release date for the new SSB game: October 3rd.
"So… Josh wants to get the game out just so he can invade Earth from all points of the globe… But he'll go for America first right?" Panda asked as she was looking at Japan, who had the game out already.
"Right… and then he'll go all out to conquer Earth," She replied before raising her hand from the keyboard as the other rested on her blade, "And we can't let that happen; we must stop Josh before it's too late."
She turned back and looked at the door to Subspace and memories of her fighting Tabuu and everybody flashed through her mind before looking over at Panda, who nodded at her.
"So, how about we give the others some extra time?" Panda asked, "We can handle it until they arrive right?"
"Yeah, and I know everybody will make it," She replied walking over to the door, "And if they don't… let's just say I'm going to make sure they regret it."
Grabbing the handle, she pulled the door opened and once inside, closed the door.
~Virtuality vs. Reality~
Warrior Kitty was the fight to wake and to her surprise, she was inside the Smash Mansion! She noticed that also Lauren was with her, but nobody else. She began to shake Lauren awake before noticing the room she was in.
"…Warrior Kitty?" Lauren asked as she got up, "Where are we?"
"In… Smash Mansion but… we're in Pichu and Pikachu's room…" Warrior Kitty replied remembering the room, "I… know this room so well…"
"Well, I can't really recall much of being here because of Sara, but we need to find the others before Josh gets the chance to end us once and for all!"
"Right! Let's go rescue our friends!"
Both girls cheered before running outside the room and down many hallways. They were wandering around until when Warrior Kitty turned the corner and bumped into something. Confused, both girls looked up before seeing a huge shadow with wings looking at them as long longs flickered in the back. Of course, seeing how dark it way, the girls freaked out and screamed and also ran around the place scared. After some time, they were able to calm down and Lauren decided to light the area up with her electricity and soon continued their way down until they saw the same shadow approaching them again from down the hallway. Now prepared, Warrior Kitty got ready and locked onto the huge shadow.
"Take this!" She yelled sending Fairy Wind at them.
"Hit the deck!" The shadow yelled as it went right to the floor, dodging the Fairy Wind, "Warrior Kitty calm down it's us!"
Both Warrior Kitty's and Lauren's eyes widen before seeing a humanoid Light, Frost, Mighty and Lilac appear from the shadows with their hands up. Light's new attire besides her Creeper Toque was a blue jacket with a light green shirt underneath, grey shorts and black shoes. Frost had her hair tied up into a ponytail similar to Samus' and she wore camouflage colored long-sleeved shirt and pants, but her boots were dark brown. Might had her ears and tails poking out and she now wore a black vest with a brown shirt underneath, brown-green skirt with white leggings underneath and brown and white tennis shoes. Finally Lilac's attire clothing was a tie dyed shirt, jeans shorts, grey socks and black and white shoes. When Lauren and Warrior Kitty saw them, they had to apology to their friends before Lauren brought up a good question.
"So… how are you all humanoid like us?" Lauren asked them.
"Actually… we're confused as to why we're like this," Frost replied, "But we still haven't found any of The Smashers or Ana, Bryce and Mi'kal yet."
"We need to find them along with the others," Warrior Kitty replied, "Also we came here with Aurora, Panda, Shulk and Shade; if we can find them all, we should have a chance to stop Josh as a team."
"Right! We should stick together before we mistake ourselves as enemies again," Lilac said, "Ready?"
"Yes! Team Smash Rescuers go!" The girls cried aloud before heading off to find the others.
~Virtuality vs. Reality~
In Subspace, Josh sat on his throne before sensing somebody here with him. Calmly, he landed down and turned to see Aurora holding her sword as Panda hug out on her shoulder as they glared at him.
"So, you finally came to confront me?" He asked as the dark sphere in his hands started to fade away, "I'm surprised you would come alone to face me, even though you need the others with you."
"…You a fool to think I would finish you here Josh," She replied as Panda climbed down and got his staff out as the dark energy surrounded her and closed around her aura, "You wanted me here all alone just to obtain the gem for yourself, but I'll show you they you can't achieve it so easily!"
Josh smirked seeing the dark energy around Aurora as her pupils turned into slits as her eye colored turned dark blue. He summoned a gun into his hands and aimed it at Aurora.
"Go ahead, make you move, Sue," He said allowed.
With that Aurora charged at him with Panda following suit as the Subspace formed around Josh, preparing for the final battle!
AND THE FINAL BATTLE IS COMING UP! Meaning this tale is coming to it's ending, but I would like to thank everybody who's been keeping up with this story; it really means a lot to me.
And we'll give a proper thank you once we have gotten to the end, but until then, review and maybe show Aurora support because this final battle will be the hardest for her to write. Until then, see you all next time!
