I can't -
I can't just leave things like that -!
And so, yes I decide to follow him.
I puff my cheeks and speed walk as fast as I can; bearing in mind I am wearing heels.
But, I guess, its is because of me. He didn't even want to stop and talk...And that look; such harshness. But, I know he has a right to be like so... I hurt him a lot.
I don't want to lose him though -
I follow distantly behind and after some time we end up at a tall building.
This is...
Sabertooth.
I gulp.
He stops at the entrance and turns to meet my eyes with a cold gaze. My expression turns to a pleading one.
"You can't enter." He tells me.
"I don't care," I shake my heads in annoyance, "I just - We need to talk."
"Talk?" He smirks with amusement, "I don't have time for that right now."
"Okay, fine." I accept, "What about later, after work?"
"You should go." He ignores and glances around.
I grit my teeth, "So is that a yes?"
He sighs, "Listen -"
"Sting," A malignant voice interrupts, "What's going on?"
He jumps a little and turns around and I peer past him to see a raven haired, intimidating woman.
"Oh nothing." He says quickly and starts turning to walk inside.
The woman becomes fixated on me, "Oh?"
Sting stops and looks at the woman with an uneasy look.
"Aren't you from Fairy Tail?" She stresses with a heavy tone.
I narrow my gaze and confidently say, "Yes, I am."
"Oh," She grins mockingly as she walks closer, "And what's a fairy doing here?"
I counter, "Sting was a - "
"Was." Sting interrupts coldly.
"A friend of yours?" She glances to Sting.
"She was just leaving." Sting says with slight worry and gives me a sharp look, "Right Lucy?"
I start, "Well -"
"Ah yes, Lucy Heartfilia of the Elites." She nods and states, "I've heard a lot about you."
"Me?" I say in surprise.
"Hey Minerva..." Sting starts quietly.
"Yes, you." She smiles evilly, "You're well acquainted with Natsu, am I right?"
"What does it matter?" I leer a little.
"My, my, you seem defensive," She laughs, "A question is all it was."
"Anyway, would you like to discuss business inside?" She asks.
"Business?" I question, "What business?"
"Isn't that why you came?" She asks, "To join Sabertooth."
"What? No! What gave you that impression!" I rage,"I would never join Sabertooth."
"Is that so?" She laughs malevolently.
"Yes." I say firmly, "I came here to talk to Sting actually."
"Well, Sting has got work to do," She glances back at him demandingly, "Go."
"Minerva..." He says uneasily.
"What's with that look? Go." She smirks a little with still a hard tone.
He looks back at me and hesitantly walks inside.
"I guess, I'll be leaving too then." I spin on my heel.
"You don't want to talk business," ''Minerva' starts, "You would be surprise at what Sabertooth could offer."
"Well, everything is just fine at Fairy Tail!" I snap at her, "And I'm guessing you bribed Sting to join you."
"Bribe?" She scoffs amusedly, "It was his choice."
"From what I heard, not everything is fine for you, Fairy." She claims.
"Really?" I say doubtfully with a narrow gaze.
"Especially for you, in fact." She taunts.
"Well, that's not true." I tell her.
"I know you've been fired from the Elites." She places a hand on her hip.
"But," I widen my eyes in shock, "H-How?!"
I only got demoted today? How could she have possibly known that? That's impossible!
"But Sabertooth, could offer you a position of the same stature." She states.
"How did you find that out!" I shout.
"You should be careful amongst your 'colleagues'." She warns.
"What do you mean?" I question.
"Maybe some aren't as trustworthy as you believe." She suggests, "Anyway, maybe you should go back, Fairy."
She starts walking inside, "Erza, wouldn't be happy to know where you've been flying around."
"When you realize how pathetic Fairy Tail is, feel free to join." She stops before entering the building.
She really annoys me. Pathetic?!
But how did she know? She was implying someone in Fairy Tail isn't to be trust. But that can't be true. The only people who know I've been demoted is Natsu and Levy and there's no way. No way, they would be linked to Minerva and Sabertooth.
Should I talk to Erza about this? Maybe Natsu as well? No Natsu would get angry at her badmouthing Fairy Tail.
Honestly, this feud seems to run deeper than commercial business.
And still Sting, I got no answers. I'm going to his house later, maybe we can talk then.
"Lu-chan!" Levy gasps as I return to the table where we were eating, "Where did you go?"
"Sorry, I left you," I apologize, "Wait, have you already paid?!"
"Yes, it's alright, what happened?" She asks again worriedly.
"Aw Levy, you should have waited." I sigh, "I'm sorry, it's just I saw Sting."
"You rushed out really fast." Levy sweat drops.
"Ah yeah..." I take a seat, "But we didn't get to talk. He was - "
"He acted really off. He was mainly ignoring me..." I say guiltily as I look down, "I never meant for it to be like this..."
"I don't want to lose him, you know." I look up to her and see Levy staring at me intensely.
"Lu-chan..." She starts hesitantly, "Do you have feelings for Sting?"
"No, no, no, no," I repeat numerously without second thought, "It's not like that."
"Why are you asking that?" I laugh a little, "I'm with Natsu."
"Yes but, that's not the point." She shakes her head, "I'm just asking are you sure you don't have any feelings for him?"
I pause.
"No, not like that..." I say quietly.
"He was a really good friend," I say sincerely, "And I've known him for a long time. I never thought of him otherwise, until he confessed and then it all got confusing."
Levy nods in understanding, "Love is never easy. It's not clear cut."
"So you didn't get to talk to him?" She asks; moving on.
"No, not really." I say in disappointment, "But we'll try after work today."
"Okay." She chimes in agreement.
A/N - So Minerva shows her face, dun dun dun she knew about Lucy getting demoted! Is there someone suspicious in FT? How do you think Sting will react if Lucy goes to his house?

Few weeks left till school ends. Summer hurry up Dx Have you guys started summer yet?
My idiot brother only got his new car a few days ago and he already wrecked it in an accident -_- Luckily no one was hurt. But trust him to be so reckless *sigh*
