AMY'S POV:

After encouraging poor Worm to push us all the way down to the Digital World, we (FINALLY) arrived at a station. We sighed as we breathed our first breath of fresh air and got off the rocket. Mole huffed for air.

"Thanks for the lift!" said Takuya and Mole gave him a smile through his huffs.

"I'm just glad I didn't mess it up." he said.

I smiled and placed my hands on him. "I'm just glad by the fact you tried."

Mole seemed to beam. "Really?" he said, still breathing hard.

I nodded and my eyes and Seraphimon's symbol glowed. Mole was suddenly surrounded in a aura of soft white light and Mole grinned.

"I'm not so tired anymore!" he cried out. "Thank you, Lapumon!"

Huh. Guess everyone got the memo about me being here.

Mole started to back up as we waved good-bye.

After that, Takuya walked away from the station.

"Where are we, anyway?"

We followed him and left the station. Tall steel buildings, steel floors, steel everything greeted us once outside.

"Steel Town!" said Bokomon. "The WHOLE place is made of steel."

J scoffed. "Gee, never would have guessed that from the name." he said, sarcastically.

"Wow!" said Tommy. "It's all so shiny and bright!"

Zoe nodded and used her hand to shield her face. "Yeah. Bright is right! Some of those buildings are reflecting right in my eyes!"

Takuya smirked and pulled on his goggles. "I bet you guys wish YOU had a cool pair of goggles about now."

Kouji and Kouichi exchanged amused glances and grunted at the same time. I rolled my eyes and grinned.

"Yeah, RIGHT." said Kouji and crossed his arms. He looked at me. "Hey Ames, do the cool kids were goggles?" he asked

I shook my head, playing along. "Nope."

Takuya huffed. "Well, they should!"

We found ourselves in a deep trench, with cliffs to our left and cliffs to our right. Birds chirped in the trees above us.

"Not so clean down here..." Jp observed.

Crazy laughter filled the air and we stopped walking. In the distance, a cloud of dust kicked up as something approached.

Tommy looked frightened. "W-What is it?"

The Digimon continued to approach us and gasped once he did. He was a tall, muscular Digimon with his lower body like a horse and the upper side of his body was as a man's. He held a large bow in his right hand.

Bokomon took out his book. "Sagittarimon, half man, half horse-and all MEAN. His Judgement Arrow attack is three prongs of pain!"

Sagittarimon stood tall and proud above us as he waved his bow around our heads. "Stop right there, humans! While I have nothing against you PERSONALLY, I must demand that you hand over ALL of your obsessions!"

I cocked my head. Wha?

"Obsessions?" asked Takuya.

Sagittarimon stuttered and recovered. "No, wait! I mean your possessions." he said and face palmed. "I should have just said 'Stop' like I usually do. I never should have bought that thesaurus."

"So...you have nothing better to do than rob us?" asked Tommy.

Sagittarimon nodded. "That's right. Now if you don't want to get hurt, hand over your obsessions."

"I can't believe we're being robbed by someone this dumb!" Jp cried out.

I narrowed my eyes, playfully. ""You mean 'possessions,' right?"

"Yeah, right." snapped Sagittarimon. "That's what I just said, isn't it?"

Takuya looked amused. "Ohhhh-K! Just give us a sec."

We huddled up and began to speak in hushed voices.

"There's no WAY he's with the Royal Knights!" said Kouichi.

Jp nodded. "Yeah, let's just get rid of him and be on our way."

Sagittarimon looked impatient and snapped his fingers. "What's wrong, hand it over!"

Kouji looked up, angrily. "I'm afraid we're gonna have to say no to that."

"What?!"

Takuya sighed. "Look, uhh..we don't have time for this, uh, why don't you just leave before you get hurt?"

"Trust me, YOU'RE the one that's gonna be hurtin'!"

"STOP!"

Who was that? We looked around, searching for the source of the voice. I sensed something towards our right and sure enough, there were three kids. Two girls and one boy.

"Who's that?" asked Takuya.

One of the girls had gorgeous blue hair, which hung in curls on her shoulders and had dark eyes. She looked around our age and had on a white shirt with a black water-drop-like symbol. Wearing a blue jean skirt with black leggings, she had completed the look with black boots. On her right hand, she had a bracelet with spikes. She stood proudly with on hand on her hip, her left leg sticking out a bit.

The cross-armed boy looked smaller than the girls, about two or three years younger. He had orange colored hair and it was all in spikes. He had on a plain black shirt, dark blue jeans and white shoes. He looked tough for someone his age.

The other girl was about our age too. She had light brown hair, tied up in a ponytail. She wore a light-green shirt and light-blue Capri with white shoes. She had brown eyes and had a sort of soft and beautiful look on her face. But what bothered me the most was this:

She was on a wheelchair.

Zoe gasped.

"Human kids..." said Kouji. "But HOW?"

"Well...uh...perhaps other humans are working to save the Digital World too." Bokomon responded.

My focus was now on Tommy, who looked intimidated by the boy and stepped behind me.

"Hey you!" yelled the boy.

"Are you the one who's been stealing from everybody around here?" asked the blue-haired girl.

Sagittarimon shrugged. "So what if I am?"

The orange-haired boy answered him "Well then you're gonna get it!"

"From who? You guys? A bunch of puny little kids?" Sagittarimon scoffed and began to laugh. "I could take ya easy, even if you teamed up with these guys over here!"

The boy smirked. "Yeah, but we're not the ones you should be worrying about."

Suddenly, an male angel burst into flight from behind them and into the skies above. We watched in awe.

"Who's THAT?" asked Kouichi.

I grinned as an Angemon landed in front of us. "That's Angemon!"

Patamon squealed in happiness. "I'm gonna be like HIM!"

Angemon approaches Sagittarimon, who loaded his bow and arrow.

"Judgement Arrow!" An arrow was about fire but Angemon used his staff to disarm him.

"Time for you to go!" said Angemon and as the other kids cheered, as he threaded him with his staff.

Sagittarimon quickly galloped off. "I'll remember this!"

"Wow!" said Bokomon.

Zoe nodded. "Wow and a half!"

"'Awesome job, Angemon!" yelled the girl in the wheelchair. I watched as the three of them used a sort of flat ground next to the cliff's wall to walk down towards us..

"Are you guys ok?" asked the girl in the wheel-chair.

I heard Jp sigh behind me. "She's pretty..."

Zoe and I turned around in shock.

"Jp! Shut up or she'll hear you!" Zoe hissed.

When they reached us, the boy stopped when he saw Tommy standing behind me "Wha! Wait a second! Tommy!"

Tommy looked away, then at his feet with a sigh.

The boy then looked at me in shock. "Amy?!"

I looked surprised. "H-How do you know me?"

"You don't remember me? It's me! Ryan! You know, Watanebe? Maya's cousin?"

I frowned slightly as I tapped my chin. Ryan Watanabe, Ryan Watanabe...my eyes widened. "Oh yeah!"

Ryan smiled. "I'll be right back." he said and suddenly ran off.

I looked towards the others and shrugged. Jp smirked and walked towards the girls.

"So. What are your names?" he asked.

The blue-haired girl smiled. "I'm Stephanie Palimato." she said.

As all of us shook hands with her, the other one answered.

"I'm...I'm Lili Suyuki." she said quietly and looked reluctantly at us.

I smiled at her. "My name is Amy Takashino."

"I'm Takuya Kanbara."

"Kouji Minamoto."

"Zoe Orimoto!"

"Tommy Himi."

"Kouichi Kimura."

"And Jp Shibuyana, at your service." said Jp and slightly bowed at Lili.

She smiled and looked away with a blush.

I motioned towards the Digimon. "And they are Bokomon, Neemon and Patamon."

Stephanie gasped and held out her hand towards Angemon. "I forgot! This here is Angemon." she said and looked bashfully towards Angemon. "Sorry."

Angemon smiled at her. "It's okay, Stephanie."

"AMY?! WHERE?"

We looked up the cliff and saw Ryan again and behind him, saw the one person I wanted to see...

not.

"OH MI GEEEEEEEE! AMYYYYYYYYYY!"

She had long red hair which she usually tied up in two pom poms with two strands of haired flowing out.(you know, like Sailor Moon?). She had on a velvet shirt long enough to be a dress if you ask me, and anyone could make out a black short-shorts peeking from underneath. She had flats like mine and had (I don't believe this) her small hand purse which I know had nothing but make-up, make-up and more make-up.

Takuya and Kouji's mouths dropped as Zoe and Jp's shared glances. I groaned and shut my eyes.

Kouichi looked at us, confused. "What?"

"It's her." hissed Kouji.

No, it can't be..

It was none other than Maya Watenabe.

Perfect.

NORMAL POV:

"So wait! Are you telling me that you've been in the Digital World the WHOLE time we've been here? You...came on the trains-TOO?!" asked Takuya.

After the emotional embrace between Maya and her BFF (well, Amy was the only one in tears. She was in the middle of Maya's bear hug, which actually FELT like a bear hugging her.), all of them headed towards a tall steel building, where they found benches to sit on and chat. Takuya, Tommy, Kouji, Zoe, Jp, Kouichi, Bokomon, Neemon and Patamon sat on one bench as Maya, Amy, Ryan, Stephanie, and Lili sat in the other. (Amy wanted to sit with the others but Maya had her in a tight grip.)

Stephanie nodded. "Yep."

"After we got on the train, we ended up at the forest terminal with a bunch of other confused kids." said Ryan and laughed. "I mean, we weren't confused like THEM, but...you know what I mean. Anyway, we started talking to some other kids, and that's how me and Maya met Stephanie and Lili. Then this chick told us to get back on board and go home. We were like, forget that, this place rocks, we wanna stick around and see what happens next! So that's what we did. Pretty soon, we met Angemon, and we've been travelin' around ever since. You know, like, having adventures, fighting injustices that kinda stuff."

Lili smiled. "It's just like on TV, only we're in it. And sure it's been dangerous, but we have Angemon with us."

Ryan looked sadly towards Tommy, who hid his face under his hat. He smiled kindly. "Hey...Tommy? I'm...sorry for pickin' on ya."

Tommy scooted closer to Takuya and stayed quiet.

"It's not safe here!" said Kouji. "You guys really should have gotten on the train if Ophanimon told you to do it."

Maya looked surprised. "Ophanimon? Oh! Is she the one who's been sending us those emails on our cell phones?"

"Yeah! We used to get messages all the time when we first got here...but we haven't received any for awhile now..." said Stephanie as she checked her phone.

Maya rolled her eyes at her. "Yo, Stephanie. Who's the one talking here? You or me?!"

Stephanie looked annoyed and Kouji raised up an eyebrow, also annoyed.

Amy sighed and placed her hand on Stephanie's shoulder. "Stephanie, I'm sorry. Maya's really-"

Apparently Maya didn't like Amy defending her so she suddenly turned her attention towards her. "Amy, have you been practicing?"

Amy looked at her in shock. "Maya. I have no time to be practicing my gymnastics right now. We have to-"

"No Amy!" Maya scolded. "You HAVE to practice or else how are you going to keep up your popularity when we get back?!"

Amy looked towards her friends, who gave her a nod. "Maya, that reminds me. We have to talk."

Maya grabbed Amy by the arm and pulled her up. "Then let's go!"

Amy looked shocked as she stood up. "Where?"

"We'll talk while I do your make-up! You look horrible!" said Maya and dragged her away.

"Wait Maya, but I-"

"Stop struggling and come on!"

Amy looked desperately towards the others as she walked away and looked sadly towards Kouichi. "I'll be right back!"

Kouichi watched as Maya dragged Amy around a corner and felt a little sad to see her go.

"ALL RIGHT." snapped Ryan and his kind smile vanished, replaced by a scowl. "I get to ask some questions now, like what are YOU doing here?"

"Actually, we're trying to restore peace to the entire Digital World." said Jp, surprised by his tone of voice.

Stephanie and Lili looked surprised and glanced towards each other.

"Really?" asked Stephanie and Ryan burst out laughing.

"How are YOU guys going to save the entire world by yourselves? Look what you have for Digimon." said Ryan and rudely pointed towards Bokomon, Neemon and Patamon. "They couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag!"

Bokomon and Neemon exchanged glances. "Hey!" said Neemon, wounded.

Lili looked embarrassed and reached out an arm towards him. "Ryan, please st-"

"Shut up, Lili." snapped Ryan and looked towards her wheelchair. "Looks like the only thing that actually works is your big mouth."

Lili gasped as tears filled her eyes. Stephanie glared daggers towards Ryan and Jp gritted his jaw. Ryan rolled his eyes and stood up, walking away.

"HEY!" yelled Takuya and stood up. "YOU CAN'T JUST-"

Kouji stood up as well and placed his right hand on Takuya. "Calm down."

"And you know what Tommy?"

Everyone turned and saw Ryan, who had turned for another insult. "I'm NOT sorry for pickin' on you!"

Tommy looked sadly towards the ground and Takuya placed his arm around his shoulders. "Don't worry, Tommy. We got your back."

Tommy slightly nodded.

Lili sniffed back a few tears and Jp handled her a handkerchief.

"Don't listen to him, Lil." he said.

"I know.." said Lili. "It's just that I've been dealing with him since we found each other."

Stephanie nodded and rolled her eyes. "We would go by ourselves to who-knows-where. It's just that Llii and I agreed that we could be safer if we all stay together."

"Then why didn't you leave the Digital World?" asked Takuya.

Stephanie sighed. "Maya. She asked-"

"Begged." Lli cut in.

"Yeah, BEGGED for us to stay with her and began to use her 'magic' as she called it to try to make us stay. And besides, this place is cool. So we stayed."

"But Maya and Ryan has been messing with us ever since."

Jp nodded. "How about you come with us? You seem nice enough." asked Jp. "They don't have to know."

"I like the idea but we can't let them go off on their own and get into trouble." replied Kouji. "It just wouldn't be right."

"Hey look! We did everything we COULD, ok?" said Takuya and placed his hands behind his head. "Yeah! Just trust me on this one." He walked outside and the others followed him as Stephanie and Jp pushed Lili on her chair.

Angemon watched as everyone walked outside. "Most times" said Angemon, starling Takuya, "the right thing to do is easy to see-if you're willing to look, and to do what's necessary."

"Hi Angemon." said Lili and gave him a small smile.

Angemon gave her a nod and he began to speak. "You know, Ophanimon foresaw the wickedness coming to the Digital World, and knew she might not survive, but she nonetheless stood up against the forces of darkness. She also saw that humans could help defeat the evil ones, but she didn't know which humans would succeed. So she risked putting them ALL in danger and called them to the Digital World. Luckily, most were brave enough to swallow their pride and leave when she asked. Those Maya, Ryan, Stephanie and Lili remained, and as Ophanimon ordered, I have continued to protect them.

"Why?!" asked Kouji.

Takuya huffed. "What you should do is send them home!" he then looked towards the girls. "No offense. But Angemon know how dangerous this world is! Plus, he could be helping us fight the Royal Knights or something, instead of babysitting that pair of selfish BRATS! (Maya and Ryan) You have to explain to them that they have to go home, and if that doesn't work, then just throw them onto a Trailmon!"

There was a slight pause in the air as Angemon sighed.

"I have tried to explain many times, but they WILL NOT LEAVE," he said. "so I must protect them."

"He's just...doing what's necessary." said Bokomon.

"Whatdoyah mean?!" asked Takuya in a rush.

"You can't blame him if they decided to stay and maybe they're not wrong in wanting to stay and make something of themselves either."

"Huh?"

Kouji nodded. "He has a point. If someone said you were useless and tried to send you home, what would you do? You'd probably stay and try to prove them wrong, right?"

Takuya shrugged. "I don't know!"

Zoe grinned. "Well I do. And that would be the first, second, and third thing you'd do. At LEAST after yelling and complaining a lot, you would."

"ARG! GEEZ! Fine, we'll help them, or send 'em home, or whatever..."

"We're DONE!"

Everyone turned and gasped when they saw Maya and Amy. But what caught their attention was Amy. She looked HORRIBLE. Maya seemed to have placed all of her blue eye-shadow on Amy's eyelids and her lip were bright red. Dark red circles covered her cheeks and her hair was pulled up in a bee-hive fashioned hair-do. Amy looked close to tears and Kouichi clenched his jaw at the sight of her close tears.

"Doesn't she look beautiful?!" asked Maya.

AMY'S POV:

Stupid Maya. What the heck did she use on my face? Permanent markers?

ooo(A few minutes ago...)ooo

After she had dragged me away from the others, the first thing she did was sit me down and began to place make-up on face and speak at the same time.

"Babe, you have no idea how happy I am to see you here. I mean, wow!" she said as she puckered up my lips to place the lipstick on.

And being stupid, I let her. I mean, Maya was the kind of girl who got pissed off if you didn't do what you were told. "Maya, can we talk?" I asked.

Maya nodded and stopped. "Yeah, what's up?"

"Maya, I'm really glad you're here." Not. "But I found out that you only like me for my popularity."

Maya stopped and laughed. "Who told you that? That blond girl you were with? PLEASE don't tell me she's your so called 'friend'."

I nodded and smiled slightly when I thought of Zoe.. "Actually she is. She's the most loyal friend I have along with the others." Then I thought of Lili and Stephanie. "What about Lili and Stephanie? They look like good friends."

"They're...eh. They're okay, I guess."

"Have you even TRIED to be friends?!"

Maya smiled and rolled her eyes. "Oh baby girl, you always were so weird sometimes. Who cares? Now.." She grabbed me by the shoulders and shook me. "Did you SEE those twins?! They are SO hot!"

I gritted my teeth. "Yes, Maya. I saw them. You seem to forget I was with them."

Maya face palmed. "Oh yeah! What's their names?" she asked and continued to place make-up on.

Should I tell her? Well, she's going to find out anyways...

"The one with the bandanna is called Kouji Minamoto...and the- OW!" I yelped as Maya had pulled on my hair as she started to style it.

"Continue.."

I rolled my eyes. "And the other one is called..." I blushed slightly. "Kouichi Kimura."

"Why are their last names different?" she asked.

I paused. I don't think I should tell her that...

"I don't know." I lied.

Maya nodded and she smiled when she took a step back. "There. You look beautiful!"

I smiled shyly as she started to hold up her mirror and my smile fell immediately.

Da hell did she do to me?

After surviving the embarrassment I had to face, Takuya and the others along with Maya (thankfully) went outside as I found a small fountain inside the building we were inside. I held up a rag found by Tommy and placed it in the water, letting it soak. I took it out and began scrubbing on my face. Mixtures of colors stained the cloth and I sighed heavily.

"Looks like you need help."

I turned around and smiled at the person who has spoken. Lili was next to the doorway, her wheelchair casting a shadow on the floor.

"Oh, hi Lili." I said.

She returned the smile and wheeled towards me. I continued to scrub my face as she watched.

"You shouldn't do that." she said.

"Why not?"

"Because it kinda leaves you skin red. Here, let me do it."

Lili took the cloth away from me and began to gently wipe my face.

As she worked, I began a conversation. "Where's Jp?"

She stopped and looked at me. "Why should I know?"

"Well, Jp's kinda been having a crush on you since...a while ago." I joked and she blushed.

"Yeah I noticed that.."

I smiled and stood still as soon as I felt the cloth move.

After a few moments, the cloths stopped moving. "Do you really think he likes me?" she asked, her light brown eyes wide open.

I nodded. "Yep, I know how someone asks around his/her crush." I said and looked slightly down. Kouichi passed my mind and I blushed slightly.

"Lili!" Jp appeared next to the door and smiled when he saw her. "There you are!"

Lili looked startled towards me and I winked at her. I bent down to look at my reflection and noticed Lili did an amazing job cleaning my face, for Maya's make-up was gone.

"Lili! Thank you!" I cried out and hugged her.

Jp started to walk towards her and I bent next to her ear. "Don't worry. If he hurts you or something, he'll have to answer to me and the others."

Lili smiled nervously and I left with a smile stretching across my face.

KOUJI'S POV:

After passing the shock of seeing Amy in that horrible make-up, everyone split up and started to find stuff to spend the night inside the building we were in a few minutes ago, as Amy had ran inside to clean her face. Who knows where Tommy and Ryan went but Takuya, Zoe, Stephanie, Neemon and I searched for water as Jp, Kouichi, Maya, Lili, Bokomon and Patamon looked for food.

We split up and the ones in charge of water, found a large stream not far from where we were.

"Well, that was quick." said Zoe.

Stephanie nodded. "No kidding."

I stayed quiet and gave them each a bucket I found inside the building. "Here."

Takuya grabbed his and gave us instructions. "Zoe and I will start filling up our buckets down-stream. You guys can start here." And with that, he was gone.

Stephanie sighed and bent next to the stream. "Well, let's start shall we?"

I took off my jacket and placed it nearby and followed her lead. We filled up our buckets in silence. Surprisingly, it was kind of hard to fill them up because the current was running too fast. My bucket was almost filled up and I growled as another strong current knocked some out. Stephanie grinned and I scowled. What's so funny?

"So..." she said. "You look like the kind of guy who listens to bands, am I right?"

I looked at her and slightly nodded.

She nodded back and a few seconds later, she began to sing softly.

"Perfect by nature.
Icons of self-indulgence.

More lies about a world that...

It was one of my favorite songs, "Everybody's Fool" by Evanescence. I stood on my knees, mesmerized as she looked up at me and smiled, singing.

"Look, here she comes now.
Bow down and stare in wonder.

No flaws when you're pretending.

But now I know she...

...never was and never will be.
You don't know how you've betrayed me.
And somehow you've got everybody fooled."

Wow. She sang...amazing.

She grinned and continued to fill her bucket. "You know that song?"

I nodded and looked back down. "One of my favorites."

"Do you play any instruments?" she asked.

I nodded. "Yeah, guitar."

"Really? I play that too, but I prefer the piano."

I paused and looked up towards her. Her curly blue hair covered her face as she hummed the rest of the song. She paused slightly to brush her hair out of her eyes and I smiled. She's...okay, I guess. I finally finished after a few minutes and I stood up, catching her attention.

"You're done?"

I nodded. "Yeah. I'll wait for you."

She grinned and I felt warm inside.

What's going on with me?

NORMAL POV:

Little Tommy stood next to a window. He had climbed up the highest floor and watched as everyone had split up to search for materials. Tommy let out a deep sigh and his heart stopped when he heard someone in the same room.

"Well...if it isn't little Tommy..."

Shaking, he turned and his heart pounded in fear when he caught sight of Ryan.

Ryan stood with his arms crossed and glared at him in the doorway.

"What's wrong?" he asked. "Friends not around to protect you? So! Tommy..."

"W-What?

Ryan slowly approached Tommy as he spoke. "Well I guess you think you're all big and tough, now that you've found some older friends to protect you, huh? So tough you want the world to yourself...so tough that you think you can boss us around. But know what I think? We're stayin'. And you and YOUR friends are LEAVING!" Ryan grabbed Tommy by the shirt and Tommy gasped as he picked him up off the ground. "That's why you're gonna tell them you want to go home!"

"What?"

"I know how goody-two-shoes like them work. Cry hard enough and they'll have you home faster than you can yell 'Mama'! And with THEM gone, WE can be the heroes who save the world. Now are you gonna tell them, or am I gonna have to get rough with you?"

"Hey!"

Both of them turned and Ryan's eyes widened when they caught sight of Maya.

"M-Maya!"

"Let him go, Ryan." Maya ordered. She placed her hands on her hips and frowned. "You're not gonna beat anybody up unless I say so, got it?"

"Yeah..."

Ryan gave Tommy a scowl and let him go. Tommy fell towards the ground and coughed loudly, having nearly choked]

"What were you hoping to do, Ryan, start a fight with those guys?! There are more of them than us, remember? And besides, Amy wouldn't be my friend anymore. Where will that leave me?"

"I know, but I was just thinkin' that-"

"Well don't! I mean, you were right about him, he's just hiding behind stronger kids! But then, that's what weaklings like him always do, and it would be stupid to expect him to do anything different."

Ashamed, Tommy's face fell. Maya directed her attention towards him.

"This world is for the strong, Tommy, and little weaklings like you shouldn't be here!"

Well, that did it. Tommy looked up from the ground and shook his head. "You're wrong."

Maya and Ryan shared glances, shocked by his reaction. "What?"

"I'm strong! YOU'RE the one who's weak! YOU'RE hiding behind ANGEMON!"

An explosion was heard outside, and the three turned to the window, alarmed, and raced outside.

When they arrived, Takuya glared at something in the distance.

"What happened?!" asked Maya.

"Our friend is back..."

Everyone had rounded up and they gaped at the sight. Sagittarimon had arrived with an army of Centarumon, who was about three times bigger than any of them.

Sagittarimon smirked. "That's right, your friend is back, but this time he brought a few friends of his own. Ooo, you little brats are in for it now!"

Bokomon took out his book and began to read out loud. "Centarumon isn't too big on brains, but he's huge on brawn. And his Solar Ray attack WON'T brighten up your day."

"It's like a whole army!" said Tommy.

"This is what you all get, it's payback for not handing over your obsessions."

Takuya, Zoe, Kouji, and Kouichi shared glances. "You mean POSSESSIONS, not OBSESSIONS." they said, annoyed.

"I know what I mean, I have a mind like a steel flap!" Sagittarimon turned towards his army. "Read to attack, Centarumon?"

"READY!" they answered.

"Guys! Get back!" ordered Maya.

"We'll take care of this guy!" said Ryan. But they were met with angry glares.

"Look, just stay out of the way!" yelled Takuya. "You guys can't handle this!"

"We can't? SURE we can!" Maya turned and faced Angemon, who had arrived. "Angemon'll fight 'em."

Angemon nodded. "I'll handle this...Maya, you and the others find somewhere to hole up, out of harm's way."

Sagittarimon smirked as Angemon faced him. He held up his bow and attacked. "Judgement Arrow!"

The arrow met it's target and Angemon cried out as he fell towards the ground.

As they watched, the Warriors itched to help him.

"Should we do something?" asked Zoe.

"Well, I dunno," shrugged Takuya. "should we spirit evolve?!"

Amy bit her lip in worry as she watched Angemon. "I think we SHOULD him."

Maya shook her head and placed her arm on Amy's shoulders.

"You just stand back and watch Angemon go. Besides, how can you help him?"

"Yeah, he's a fighting machine, and there ain't no one in the whole world who can stand up to 'im!" said Ryan.

Lili stayed a few feet away from them watching, watching Angemon fight. "Please be careful." she whispered.

Without them noticing, a separate crew of Centarumon sneaked up towards their right.

The Centarumon leader chuckled as the Humans never saw him coming. "Charge!"

Their hoofs stomped on the ground as they ran towards them, finally capturing their attention.

"It's a trap!" gasped Takuya.

"Yeah, and we fell right into it!" said Kouichi.

The Centarumon continued charging for Maya, Tommy, Ryan and Lili.

"What are you DOING? Run!" JP bellowed.

They cried out and turned. Stephanie ran to help poor Lili, who tried desperately to turn as well, but Ryan crashed into her chair, knocking her down. Lili fell on the ground and turned as the Centarumon arrived closer and closer. Stephanie ran as fast as she could towards her and tried to help her.

"LILI!" everyone cried out. " STEPHANIE!"

Lili covered her eyes and screamed in horror as Stephanie shielded her with her body.

Suddenly, with a thud, an Angel-like person landed in front of them, held out her hands and created a force field around them. Her long hair wiped in the air as the Centarumon either crashed into her force field or avoided it and continued to run.

Lili looked up as the force field was let down and turned towards whoever had saved her.

It was Amy. Wings had sprouted from her back and her eyes glowed. Strange symbols were on her hands and cheeks and she bent towards them.

"Are you alright?" she asked.

Lili nodded as Stephanie's eyes widened.

"What...are you?"

Amy smiled. "A Digimon."

They looked up when they heard scream.

Turned out that Ryan was about to be trampled alive by the Centarumon stampede, but Tommy had managed to rescue him. The Centarumon army stopped as Tommy and Ryan stood up from the ground.

"Are you okay?" asked Tommy.

Ryan nodded, trembling. "I guess...yeah!"

"Guys, look out!" screamed Maya, a few feet away.

The Centarumon had turned and continue charging straight for Tommy, who was no longer afraid.

"You're a bunch of bullies, but you're not going to bother us any more!" He whiped out his D-Tector and data surrounded his hand.

"EXECUTE! SPIRIT EVOLUTION! Korikakumon!"

Ryan, Maya, Stephanie and Lili gasped as little Tommy transformed into a humongous beast in front of their eyes.

Korikakumon smirked and held up his axes. "Still wanna fight?!" He attacked them and the centarumon flew backwards in the air. "Not so tough now, huh?"

Takuay held up his D-Tector as well and faced the others. "Come on, let's help him out!"

Everyone nodded. "Right!"

"EXECUTE! SPIRIT EVOLUTION!"

"Agunimon!"

"Lobomon!"

"Kazemon!"

"Beetlemon!"

"Loweemon!"

Once digivolved, as the others started to fight the Centarumon, Lobomon and Beetlemon ran towards Amy and Stephanie, who tried to pick Lili up from the floor. Once there, Beetlemon lifted Lili up bridal-style and Lobomon carried Stephanie on his right arm and Lili's wheelchair on his left.

"Where to?" asked Beetlemon.

Amy pointed towards a small building, where Maya and Ryan had gathered. "Over there. I'll digivolve and attack from there."

The boys nodded and followed her instructions. Beetlemon flew carefully with Lili on his arms and Stephanie hung on for dear life as Lobomon dashed through the battlefield, Amy flying behind him.

They arrived and Amy and Stephanie held the wheelchair as Beetlemon carefully sat Lili down. Once done, they joined the battle.

"You guys stay here." said Amy. "I'll be outside."

"You can't go!" said Maya. "Let them do the work."

Amy shook her head and stepped outside.

"EXECUTE! SPIRIT EVOLUTION! Sirenmon!"

Back in the battle, Agunimon smirked at the shocked Centarumon. "How about we start with a hot hoof?!" he asked and held up his fists. "Pyro Punch!"

"Lobo Kendo!"

"Hurricane Wave!"

"Lightning Blitz!"

"Shadow Lance!"

From the small building, Maya watched as her best friend, who was now an Angel, crossed her arms in front of her. She forced them out as she shouted her attack. "Sound Wave!"

"No way!" gasped Maya. "They all turned into Digimon!"

"They're so brave!" Ryan agreed.

Bokomon, who was inside the entire time, crossed his arms. "I'm surprised you know what courage looks like."

"Huh?"

"Their bravery is why the spirits chose them."

Lili looked sadly towards the ground. "I wish I could be brave for once..."

Korikakumon knocked some Centarumon in the sky as Sagittarimon stood in shock.

"I had no idea these humans could evolve!"

Without him knowing, Angemon appeared behind him.

"And don't forget about little old ME." said Angemon and smirked at Sagittarimon's face. "I believe we have unfinished business." Angemon held up his fist an punched him as hard as he could, so hard Sagittarimon was sent flying.

Around the Digidestined, Centarumon were sprawled everywhere, moaning and groaning.

Sirenmon flew towards the leader and bent down. "If you want to attack us again, I suggest for you to think reeeally hard before you do."

Agunimon nodded. "If you guys are smart, you'll turn around and run right outta here!"

"And you'll run fast!" Lobomon added.

The Centarumon leader quickly stood up and ran away as his army followed.

"Man," said Agunimon and fist-pumped. "We are GOOD!"

AMY'S POV:

Ryan held out his hand towards Tommy.

"Sorry." he said bashfully. "For real."

Tommy's eyes widened. "Huh?"

After our fight, we had dedigivolved and rounded up Maya and the other kids. I smiled as Ryan finally decided to apologize.

"I shouldn't have called you weak, because...you're braver than I've ever been." He scratched his head. You saved...my life!"

Tommy thought about it for a minute and looked towards the rest of us. We smiled and nodded. Tommy grinned at us and shook his hand."

"It would be an honor if you'd let me call you my friend..." said Ryan and Tommy nodded.

"Sure...you bet!"

I glanced around and my eyes landed on Maya, who stood a few feet back with a frown on her face. I raised up my eyebrows.

"Maya? Is there anything you wanna share?"

Maya's eyes widened as everyone's attention was on her. She blushed when she realized the twin's attention was on her.

"Ummm...I...um..." she sighed deeply and looked at Tommy. "Thanks."

Maya looked at me. There. Is that all? her face told me and I sighed. Nope, Maya hasn't changed a bit.

Maya looked towards Ryan, Stephanie and Lili. "Well guys, I think its time to go home."

We stared at her. Did Maya just say that?

"What?" she asked, annoyed. "This place scares me and the creatures here just kill each other for no damn reason."

I froze. She did NOT just say that.

Takuya and the others, including Lili and Stephanie, looked at me for a reaction. I closed my eyes and sighed deeply. "Maya, I-"

My hair wiped on my face as the wind kicked up, and Angemon became alarmed. We looked up and gasped.

Oh no! The Royal Knights!

Crusadermon smiled as we glared at them.

Angemon growled and flew towards Dynasmon, who puched him on his rib cage.

I gasped as my eyes glowed. "ANGEMON, NO!"

Angemon's data appeared and Dynasmon, without hesitation, scanned him.

"Angemon!" yelled Lili and burst into tears. I held my hand and marked it quickly before any of the Royal Knights had any other ideas.

"See?" said Maya proudly. "Told you all they do is kill!"

I wiped my head around as my eyes glowed furiously. "MAYA. SHUT THE F. UP."

Maya gasped angrily and suddenly, she, Stephanie, Ryan and I were tied up in a yellow net.

W-What is this?

"AMY!" shouted Kouichi and started to run towards me, but Kouji held him back.

"Now, now!" said Crusadermon, who had thrown the net, "Not everyone is lucky enough to be captured by someone as BEAUTIFUL as me!"

I tried to tear the net away but Dynasmon lifted us up in the air, carrying us away.

"No!" yelled Tommy. He grabbed onto the net as Dynasmon ascended and I grabbed on to his arms to hold him.

"Hang on, buddy!" I shouted over Maya's hysterical yelling. I looked over Tommy's shoulders and saw as Takuya and the others tried to follow us.

"Hey, you ugly tin can! Come back here!" yelled Takuya, angry.

Crusadermon rolled her eyes. "Fret not, Dynasmon. Allow ME the pleasure of HANDLING these maims."

"No stop!" I screamed but she was already on her way to hurt them. I bit my lip.

"Don't worry!" I yelled. "Tommy and I will protect them!"

Just barely, I could hear Jp's response. "Yeah, but who's going to protect you?!"
