Hinata sees the gun slowly pointed to her in slow motion. Her heart was beating faster and faster

Hinata hears Sakura and Lee in the background and Neji moving towards her
Hinata: is….is this it….I…I didn't want to die yet…..I wanted to see….Hanabi grow up…..I wanted to still be with my friends…..I wanted to be with Naruto-kun….I never told him I love him…..
Hinata squeezed her eyes shut
Hinata: at least…..my friends here are safe…Naruto-kun….
BANG!
Hinata waited for the bullet but it never hit. She opened her eyes to see Neji shield her
Hinata: NEJI-NIISAN!
Neji coughed some blood
Neji: are…are you ok…..
Neji fell to the ground and Hinata quickly went to him
Hinata: NEJI-NIISAN WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP!
Neji was not responding as he laid on the ground smiling.

The man pointed his gun at Hinata; Hinata was too preoccupied with Neji to notice.
Sakura: GET AWAY FROM THEM!
Sakura was about to attack the man but she didn't see the man pull out a knife. He was ready to slit her throat once she was in reach, Sakura didn't notice but Lee did.
Lee: SAKURA!
Lee tackled Sakura to the ground right before the knife sliced Sakura's throat.
?: good reflexes
The man went back to Hinata and was about to shoot until he got a phone call. He answers the phone slowly
?: what!….you got a lead…..good…...I'll finish here….damn it fine
The man hung up
?: you all are lucky our leader doesn't give a damn about you, I'll be back to finish you all off once we finish our business
With that the man walks off
Sakura: GET B-
Lee: SHH!
Once the man is out of sight police sirens were heard.
Sakura: LEE GET OFF
Sakura shoved Lee off of her
Sakura: WHY DID YOU STOP ME!
Lee: I DON'T WANT YOU TO DIE SAKURA!
Sakura: I WASN'T GOING TO DIE IDIOT! I HAD IT UNDER CONTROL!
Lee: STOP IT SAKURA! HE ALMOST KILLED YOU WITH A KNIFE!
Sakura: WHAT KNIFE! YOU'RE BEING OVERPROTECTIVE!
Lee: I NEED TO BE! ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU GET ANGRY!
The two were about to argue more until
Hinata: STAY WITH ME NEJI-NIISAN!
The two see Hinata pressing her hand on Neji's gunshot wound to stop the bleeding. The two ran over to Hinata and see how bad Neji was
Lee: Friend Hinata-
Hinata looked to Lee in tears.
Hinata: L-Lee-kun he is not moving!
Sakura ripped the hem of her shirt and pressed it into Neji's wound
Hinata: S-Sakura-kun!
Sakura: two people are better than one
Lee then joined in as well
Lee: three is better as well!
Sakura looked to Lee in annoyance, just then multiple police cars showed up. Hinata looked up and saw Shisui get out the car with Inabi. Inabi got his gun out and looked around the area while Shisui called for an ambulance. After a few minutes an ambulance came and got Neji. Hinata wanted to go with Neji but Inabi grabbed her arm.
Inabi: hey you come with me!
Sakura: get your hands off of her!
Sakura looked ready to fight and Lee again got in the way. Before the situation escalated any further Shisui came over
Shisui: Inabi let go of Hinata
Inabi: tch! They need-
Shisui snatched Hinata away from him
Shisui: Are you ok Hinata?
Hinata: I need to-
Shisui: I know you want to be with Neji right now, but I was told he needs to be sent to the ER immediately. Right now you all are come with us ok
Sakura: and why-
Shisui: because you ; need to explain how you and the others weren't at the Hyuga estate when we arrived
Sakura gulped
Shisui: I guess it was a good thing you three weren't…..
Hinata then remembered
Hinata: WHAT HAPPENED IS MY LITTLE SISTER OK?! IS SHE OK?! WHERE IS SHE!
Shisui: whoa whoa there Hinata, if you all come with me we will go to her ok. She is at the station now
Hinata: OK LET'S GO!
With that Hinata hurried to the cop car. As she did Sakura and Lee went up to Shisui
Lee: thank you so much for showing up when you did, I didn't know if we could save friend Neji
Shisui: no problem Rock Lee
Lee: you can call me Lee friend Shisui
Shisui sweat dropped
Sakura: why are you acting so familiar with Hinata?
Shisui: well I am well acquainted with Hinata
Sakura: HA?! What you mean well acquainted?!
Shisui just looked at her and smirked.
Sakura: YOU LI-
Lee: IM DONE!
Lee stomped off to the cop car to join Hinata.
Shisui: Hope I didn't miss anything
Sakura looked down and walked over to the cop car
Shisui: so much tension, right Inabi?
Inabi: whatever, I'm going to check on the damages at the Hyuga Estate. You take the kids
Shisui: right right, since you suck with kids
Inabi: SHUT IT!
Shisui: my bad just, messing with you. Anyway good luck partner
Inabi: tch whatever
With that Inabi went with some other policeman to check out the Hyuga estate while Shisui got in his own cop car with the gang to the police station. The ride to the station was quiet and awkward. The tension between Lee and Sakura was intense. Shisui and Hinata were feeling awkward and didn't want to start a conversation with them in the car. After a long awkward drive they finally made it to the station. Hinata sees Hanabi outside the staion. Before the car even stopped Hinata jumped out the car and ran to her. Hanabi sees Hinata and runs to her too.
Hanabi: NII-SAN!
Hinata: HANABI!
The two hug each other embracing each other tightly
Hinata: ARE YOU OK! ARE YOU HURT!
Hinata looks at Hanabi closely and sees a couple bandages on her arms and face
Hinata: HANABI YOUR HURT!
Hanabi smiled at Hinata
Hanabi: I'm ok nii-san! I was in trouble and the bad man almost found me but found me and drove the bad man away!
Hinata looked over to see Shisui, Lee, and Sakura walk towards her. She smiled at Shisui
Hinata: thank you so much for protecting her
Shisui: it's fine Hinata, I'm glad I made it on time. I'm glad you all called me instead of go there yourselves hahaha
The gang felt a pang of guilt
Sakura, Lee, Hinata: but we we're going there…..
Shisui: anyway all of you come in; I gotta talk with all of you about what happened
Hinata: w-what about my home?
Shisui looked down in guilt but smiled at Hinata as best as he could
Shisui: we'll talk about that too
Hinata knew that smile was fake thanks to her doing the same thing; Hinata was becoming worried. They all go walk into the station and into a small room with a table and a few chairs.
Shisui: take a seat everyone
Hinata sat on the chair furthest away with Hanabi taking the seat right next to her, then Sakura sat next to the other side of Hanabi and lastly Lee who was annoyed to sit next to Sakura. Shisui sat on the other side of the table
Shisui: ok, before I talk to you about what happened, tell me how did you know the Akatsuki was going to be at the Hyuga estate?
The gang was quiet
Shisui: you can tell me, I am on your side
Sakura: are you?
Lee: yes he is Sakura
Sakura looked to Lee annoyed
Hinata: Lee-kun is right Sakura-kun. Shisui is a friend
Sakura sighed
Lee: I am sorry friend Shisui, I-
Shisui: went into the school during our investigation and took some evidence with you
The gang eyes widened while Hanabi looked confused.
Hinata:h-how-
Shisui: you do know that my sector was the one who found you Lee
Lee: hehe sorry
Shisui: do you have the evidence with you?
Lee nodded and got the letter from his pocket. He quickly gave it to Shisui. Shisui got the letter and read it.
Shisui: I see so that's why, great detective works kids
Hinata: w-well i-its thanks to Sakura we figured i-it out
Sakura started to blush
Sakura: it wasn't a big deal
Lee: it is a big deal Sakura, if it wasn't for you who knew what would happen
Sakura smiled at Lee
Sakura: thanks Lee
Shisui: now mind telling me how Neji Hyuga was shot?
Lee explained how they ran into the Akatsuki and what the man asked them. Shisui listened to them closely and took some notes.
Shisui: I see…. so they are trying to kill two birds with one stone. Clever
Sakura: what do you mean?
Shisui: well I guess it's my time to share, listen what we talk about stays in this room got it
Hinata: O-Ok!
Lee: got it!
Sakura: if Hinata is ok with it so am I
Shisui: Hanabi can you please wait outside for me?
Hanabi: AWWW! I won't tell I pinkie promise
Hinata: listen to him Hanabi, We won't be long ok?
Hanabi: but I don't wanna…..
Hinata: Hanabi please
Hanabi: ok…..
Shisui: here you go Hanabi
Shisui gave Hanabi some money
Shisui: tell the policeman outside I gave you some money, he will buy anything you want
Hanabi eyes started to sparkle
Hanabi: REALLY?!
Shisui smiled and nodded. Hanabi looked to Hinata
Hinata: go ahead I won't be long
Hanabi: K!
With that Hanabi left the room wanting to eat some cinnamon rolls. Eveyone smiled
Shisui: she is a strong kid; you have a strong sister Hinata
Hinata: ya I do…
Sakura: why did you give her money?
Shisui: I rather her not hear what I am about to say….it was horrid when I was at the estate….I luckily shielded her from seeing what I saw when I got her out the house.
At that comment Hinata started to worry about her father, Lee and Sakura were getting nervous
Shisui: when I arrived at the estate I saw that someone broke in pretty cleverly…..when I got inside there were so many bloody bodies….some were even in parts….when I was searching the house I heard some noises coming from upstairs. That's when I found Hanabi crying under a bed.
Flash back
Shisui walked over some dead bodies towards the noise. As he kept moving the noise was becoming more distinct and he realized the noise was someone crying. He found the source of the crying was in a room; Shisui drew his gun out and slowly opened the door. Once the door was open he pointed his gun out and saw the room a mess. He looks around and hears the crying coming from under the bed. Shisui slowly went to the bed and looked under the bed. He sees Hanabi crying under the bed looking terrified. Hanabi sees Shisui and scoots away from his scared.
Shisui: hey hey its ok, I won't hurt you
Hanabi: a-are you sure… is the bad man gone?
Shisui smiled and showed his badge to her
Shisui: promise I am the police mrs…
Hanabi: Hanabi….my name is Hanabi..
Shisui: well Hanabi don't worry, the bad man won't get you with me here.
Hanabi wiped some tears away
Hanabi: promise?
Shisui: pinkie promise
Hanabi: K….
Shisui: can you come out from under your bed Hanabi?
Hanabi: but my sister said to stay here
Shisui: sister? Wait is your sister Hinata Hyuga?
Hanabi: yes! H-how do you know?
Shisui: I saw her not long ago?
Shisui then sees a phone next to Hanabi
Shisui: is your sister on that phone?
Hanabi: she was but I haven't heard anything from her….all I heard was a weird bang
Shisui's eyes widened
Shisui: can you come out from under the bed?
Hanabi: but-
Shisui: your sister may be in trouble
At the mention of Hinata, Hanabi got out from under the bed with the phone in hand. Shisui grabbed her hand and exited the estate holding Hanabi close to shield her eyes from the massacre of bodies; Once they were outside Shisui called for backup and they arrived shortly afterwards.
Shisui: Hanabi is it ok I hold onto the phone for awhile
Hanabi: but my sister!
Shisui: I'm going find her and bring her to you
Hanabi: really?
Shisui nodded
Hanabi: ok…..please come back safe Mr…
Shisui: Shisui
Hanabi: please come back with my sister
Shisui: promise
With that Shisui asked some of the policeman to take Hanabi to the station. He then used Hanabi's phone to track where Hinata's was. After getting the signal He quickly drove to the location and found Hinata along with Sakura, and Lee hunched over Neji
End flashback
Shisui: and that basically raps up how I found you all
Lee: amazing my friend! You did so much
Shisui: well I am a police officer
Sakura: well….I am glad that you saved us then….sorry about before
Shisui: it's no problem ; knowing how the situation, it is decided that all of you will be in the witness protection.
Hinata, Lee, and Sakura eyes widened
Hinata: w-what?!
Lee: But we must help friend Naruto!
Sakura: that idiot needs our help!
Shisui: whoa whoa calm down, you all are lucky that you didn't make it to the Hyuga Estate; you would have possibly met with someone worse than the man you all had to deal with.
Hinata: b-but
Sakura: hey we found a lead before all of you Uchiha's! We should be helping instead!
Hinata: Sakura-kun….
Lee: let us help you friend Shisui!
Hinata: Lee-kun
Hinata took a deep breath
Hinata: please!
Shisui looked at their pleading faces and sighed
Shisui: I'm sorry but not this time, you all know we only have a day left to find any leads
Sakura: Which is why this is a better idea with more people
Shisui: no
Hinata: b-but why you gave me a tip last time!
Shisui sighed
Shisui: I didn't want to tell you, but the reason you and especially Hinata can't help is because we found out that Hiashi is missing. He wasn't in the house at all and the Akatsuki logo was in his office
