I am so so so sorry for the super long wait! But life (aka school, job, and swim team) has gotten crazy lately.
Also this is the last chapter! So please please please enjoy :)
JACK
"Elsa, we're almost at the Pole" I said as we flew through the air.
"What is it like?" Elsa asked.
"You'll see...I think the best word to describe it though is...magical" I said "I myself only saw it a year ago"
"A year? Why didn't you visit before then?" Elsa asked.
"Couldn't get past the yetis" I said. Elsa was about to reply right when I caught sight of the pole.
"There it is!" I said, pointing towards the Workshop and Elsa gasped.
"Wait till you see the inside" I said smirking as we descended to the skylight and I dropped us down to the main platform overlooking the globe.
Elsa gasped as she took in the sight of the workshop. The flying toys and flashing lights were a lot to take in.
I smiled as her shocked expression turned into excitement.
"Jack! this place is amazing!" she cried out.
"Jack? Is that you?" I heard North say as he walked out towards us, wiping his hands.
"And Elsa!" he bellowed and gave us both a large, bone crushing hug.
"Good-to-see you-to North" I said, trying to gain breaths as he crushed all the air out of my lungs.
"I will call the others!" He exclaimed "Bunny! Sandy! Tooth! Jack and Elsa are here!" he shouted.
"The others? Why would they need to be here?" Elsa said.
"Why?" North said then throwing his hands in the air "I'll tell you why!"
"Jack! Elsa!" Tooth exclaimed as she flew into the room and gave us each a warm hug.
"Good to see you Frost bite" Bunny said smirking.
"Always a joy to see you as well, Kangaroo" I said, crossing my arms and smirking as well.
Bunny frowned "You want to go Ice for Brains?"
"Try me" I said extending my hand out and practically challenging him.
"Bunny! Jack! This is not the time nor the place for your little rivalry!" Tooth barked and both of us stood down.
"Today is about Elsa!" she said in a much softer tone.
"Me?" Elsa said confused and looking to me for help.
Then the realization hit my like a ton of bricks.
"The oath! I completely forgot!" I exclaimed hitting my own forehead.
"The oath?" Elsa said, raising an eyebrow.
"All guardians take an oath and since you are the newest member you must take an oath!" North bellowed "So...music!"
"Oh no" I muttered under my breath and covered my ears.
Elsa looked confused by my actions but soon did the same as the trumpets began blaring.
Two yetis raised torches behind North as Elsa looked to me for help. The music got louder and the elves began banging drums and more and more of them were walking in.
One of the elves carried a rather large trumpet and blasted it next to Elsa. The unexpected blare of music shocked her, causing her hands to drop from her ears and a blast of ice shoot out.
The ice hit North's fireplace, extinguishing the flames. All the elves stopped playing and everyone looked to Elsa.
"Oh...oh no..I'm so sorry. I-I didn't mean it" Elsa said, worry and fear crossing her face.
North only laughed, gripping his belly as his laughter filled the workshop.
"Just like Frost bite. At least she's sorry" Bunny said chuckling.
"Just like Jack?" Elsa questioned.
"They pulled this whole stunt on me as well. But I was stuffed in a bag and thrown through a magic portal beforehand." I said laughing.
"I am sorry for losing control though" Elsa said, looking down.
"You were shocked. It happens" I said shrugging.
"Phil! The book!" North called and Phil gave North the book with the golden 'G' on the cover.
"Will you, Elsa vow to watch over the children of the world?
To guard them with your life, their hopes, their wishes, and their dreams.
For they are that we have, all that we are, and all that we will ever be." North said.
Elsa looked towards me as I was beaming at her and nodded.
"Yes. I will." she said confidentially.
"Then congratulations Elsa of Arendelle, also known as the Snow Queen. You are now, and forever more, a Guardian!" North said beaming at Elsa as he closed the book.
All the elves and yetis cheered along with North, Tooth, Bunny, and Sandy. While I ran to Elsa and took her in my arms, spinning her around in the air.
"I love you so much" I whispered into her ear and she blushed slightly.
I lowered her to the ground and kissed her on the lips quickly.
"Do you think you have figured out center, Elsa?" Tooth asked.
"My center? No...I don't have any idea" Elsa said, sighing.
"Maybe this will help" Tooth said pulling out a small golden tooth box.
"Her memories?" I asked looking at Tooth who nodded.
"My teeth...they hold my memories...why would that help me?" Elsa asked.
"They hold our most important memories. Maybe they can help you find your center" Tooth said.
Elsa gingerly took the tooth box and I saw her hands shaking slightly.
"Everything will be fine, just tap the lid." I said and Elsa nodded, her trembling hand touching the lid as her eyes went wide with shock.
ELSA
To say I was nervous was an understatement.
My childhood wasn't exactly the happiest of times for me.
And I was scared to go back.
As I touch the top of the tooth box the panels disappeared and I saw myself and Anna as children playing in the ballroom.
I gasped as fear gripped my heart. I prayed this wasn't the memory I was fearing it was.
"Do the magic!" Anna said, jumping up and down.
"Okay" the younger me said laughing as she rubbed her hands together, then throwing them up to create a light snowfall.
"This is amazing!" Anna said giggling.
"Watch this!" the young me said as I stopped my foot on the floor to create a layer of ice.
"You're the best Elsa! Your powers are amazing!" Anna said.
"You aren't jealous?" the young me asked.
"Jealous? Why would I be jealous that I have a super nice, super fun sister! I love you!" Anna said hugging me which I returned.
"I love you too." I said smiling.
The memory continued as the young me and Anna played in the ballroom. The scene changed to after the incident. I locked myself in my room and was curled up on the bed, gripping the ice covered sheets.
"Come out an play Elsa! Do you wanna build a snowman?" Anna called out from the other side of the door.
"It doesn't have to be a snowman" Anna said through the key hole.
"Go away Anna" the young me said.
"Okay, bye" Anna said defeated.
The young me stayed on the bed and a tear fell "Its for her own good. I can't hurt her again. I love her too much."
The scene changed to see my older self, standing in the corner with my gloves on as my parents tried to get closer to me.
"No! Don't touch me!" the thirteen year old me cried out, shrinking away from them "I don't want to hurt you."
The scene changed again to show myself, eighteen sitting with my back to the door as the snowflakes hung suspended in the air.
A tear fell down my cheek as I gripped my knees tighter.
"They're gone...they are really gone" the younger me whispered as another tear fell.
"I can't go out...they..they would want me to keep Anna safe. I can keep everyone I love safe." I said and the scene changed to show me walking in the mountains with my coronation dress on.
"Let it go! Let it go! Tun my back and slam the door" I sang as I released my powers.
The scene moved to show me hugging Anna on the frozen fjord.
"An act of true love will thaw a frozen heart!" Olaf exclaimed.
"Love?" I said as realization then crossed my face "Love!"
"Elsa?" Anna said as I raised my arms to unfreeze Arendelle and bring back summer.
The memory shifted to show me standing on the balcony of my ice palace.
"Manny?" I said, looking up at the moon.
I took a deep breath as I looked up at the moon.
"Look, I know you maybe don't really know me. I know I haven't ever talked to you...but you know Jack. You probably know how much he cares for me but I just wanted to let you know how much I care for him...no not care...love. I love him. I love him so much it hurts sometimes. But that's what love is. Love never has to or will make sense! Its the best thing that can ever happen to us and I am lucky enough to have found that in Jack"
I looked down and touched my necklace "All I wanted to say was...well thank you for letting Jack be with me. I can't think of a world now without him. He is...everything. I just hope that where ever he is or in whatever he is doing..you are looking out for him. Please just let him come back safe."
I then looked back up at the Moon and I swear it shown a little brighter.
"Thank you" I said smiling up at Manny.
Everything disappeared and I started to come too. I blinked a few times before everything came back into focus.
"Elsa? Are you..um..back?" Jack asked, his eyes full of worry.
"Love" I said quietly.
"What?" Jack asked.
"Love!" I said louder.
"Love?" Jack said confused.
"That's-that's my center!" I exclaimed.
"Love...love...oh my moon Elsa that's it!" Jack exclaimed as he hugged me tight.
"Did the memories help?" Tooth asked, smiling. Once he released me I looked over at Tooth
"Yes! Thank you so much. They showed me my center! It's love. Love was the thing that kept me in my room all those years. Yes I was afraid but it was because I loved Anna too much to ever see her hurt again. It was love that thawed Arendelle. Love...love is what helped me control my powers" I said looking at Jack who was smiling bigger than ever.
"Well then...welcome Elsa, Guardian of Love" North said bowing slightly.
"I knew you would figure it out" Jack said.
"I know" I said smugly while Jack laughed.
"Since I figured out my center does this means I will learn about my new powers as well? Manny said I will keep my old powers but I would have new ones as well" I said.
"Hm..." North said pacing and tapping his chin "I am not sure, but I would think the best thing is to test out your powers."
"I can help with that" Jack said.
"When we travel around the world" I said smiling.
"Of course" Jack said.
"Then maybe we should get started" I said.
"After you, my queen" Jack said gesturing to the space in front of him.
"Why thank you" I said stepping towards him and he wrapped his arm around my waist.
"The Pole is always open to you both!" North said.
"And the same is for the Tooth Palace! Please visit whenever you want." Tooth said.
Sandy only made a sand thumb over his head and Bunny smiled.
"And try not to freeze over any of my Easter egg hunts" he said.
"Can't make any promises Kangeroo." Jack said.
"Why you little-" Bunny said when Jack took off, and we flew out of the Pole.
So that was it! I may or may not post an epilogue, depending how many of you review and if I get struck with inspiration.
