Third POV

The next six chunin hopefuls came into the arena. Hayate looked at the two teams, then shouted shout.

Shikamaru jumped backwards, and Naruto looked back at him.

"What are you doing?"

"Forming a plan. Naruto, what do you know about that girl?"

"Huh? um...nothing?" Naruto asked, after staring at Tenten for a bit. Shikamaru sighed.

"No, the other one."

"What other one?"

"Are you stupid. The girl that your team came back with. Her name was Haku." Naruto stood still for a bit, before bursting out laughing. He wasn't the only one. Sakura, and Ryuuko joined him, and Sasuke just smirked. As for Haku, he added Shikamaru to the long list of 'People who think I'm a girl.'

Shikamaru asked the question that everyone was thinking.

"What's so funny?"

"H-haku...hahahaha, ha, OMG this is priceless, Haku..."

"What?!" Kiba shouted, wanting to know what was so funny about the girl next to him. AFter all, if there was something wrong with her, he wouldn't try to make a move of her.

Haku stepped forward.

"Let me explain. I'm not a girl. I'm a boy."

There was complete silence, excluding the laughter. And then everyone said the same thing.

"WHAT?!"

Kiba's face turned into one of utter horror. Shikamaru, blinked a bit, and then squinted at Haku. Finally, he just sighed.

"Troublesome. So what are his powers?"

"Um, well..." Naruto was interrupted as a senbon flew towards him.

"Naruto-san, do you really think that I would stand by idly while you spill all of my abilities?" Haku asked in a monotone voice.

"I told you to stop calling me 'san!' Its embarrassing!"

By now, Kiba recovered from his shock of what he had been trying to do.

"Let's start already!" He shouted. Tenten nodded in agreement and threw a handful of shuriken and kunai at the other three people. Haku added in a few senbon in the array of pointy objects.

The others managed to dodge most of them, but none of them come out unscathed.

"Guys, make them bring out their abilities and keep them occupied." Shikamaru ordered. Naruto pulled his hands into a plus sign.

"Taiju Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!"

The area filled with copied of Naruto. Hinata turned bright red.

"Hinata-chan, are you ok?" A few clones asked. She nodded, trying to calm herself down.

"Well then, what are you waiting for, lets go!" The Hyuga nodded, and got into a stance. Before she attacked though, Shikamaru came up to her and whispered something. She listened, and then smiled.

Meanwhile, The other three were defending themselves against the Naruto copies. It was about a 15 to 1 advantage for Naruto.

Tenten was doing well, throwing all sorts of weapons at the clones. Haku was doing even better, though he was still slightly worried that the same thing would happen that happened last time when he had fought Naruto.

Kiba was starting to struggle. In his mind, he was questioning when Naruto had gotten so strong.

He had been separated from Akamaru, who was fighting other clones. Kiba quickly punched a few clones and saw Akamaru.

"Akamaru, lets do this!" He was about to form a seal when he felt a pain on his leg. Looking down, he saw akamaru bitting him.

"Wha-" With a pop, 'Akamaru' truned into Naruto. Kiba kicked that Naruto, which disappeared in a poof of smoke. He turned to face the other Narutos, who had a look of disgust.

"That tasted disgusting..."

Kiba, pissed, started to search for the real Akamaru, but saw him in the hands of another Naruto.

"Give up, or your doggy dies." Naruto said, sure that he would win. Kiba frowned, then smirked. He brought his hand's together.

"Beast Human clone!" He shouted. Akamaru turned into Kiba, and began to attack Naruto.

At that moment, Shikamaru whispered to one of the clones, then made it disappear. A group of Narutos smiled.

They ran toward the two, and then suddenely all disappeared. Smoke covered the arena for a while.

It was cleared up by Haku and his use of wind.

The clearing now showed that only a few clones remained. however, there were now three Kibas.

Kiba smirked, then attacked one of them. It turned out to be Akamaru.

He stood there for a few moments in shock, and then charged at the other him and punched him right in the face.

In that instant, the one he punched was revealed as Akamaru, and the first one as Naruto.

Thee Inuzuka blinked, then rushed at the fallen Akamaru. Slowly, gently, he picked the dog up. He glared at Naruto.

"Don't think I'll forget this," He said. "I forfeit."

Kiba walked away.

There was a moment of tension, and then Naruto made another giant group of clones,

Haku and Tenten worked together, throwing objects at the clones.

After a while, the two noticed something.

One of the clones stood on the side, not attacked. Tenten assumed it was the real one, and jumped into the sky.

She pulled out a scroll, and unrolled it. All sorts of weapons rained down on that one.

That one saw the storm of weapons and his eyes widened. They fell on him, and Tenten landed on the ground, smiling in satisfaction.

That smile quickly dropped as it disappeared.

"Behind you!"

She whipped around, and saw a palm ready to strike her. Not worried, she swatted it away.

The other hand came and hit her square in the chest. She flew back, and then coughed up blood. Shocked, she looked up at the clone and saw that it wasn't Naruto, but rather a Henged Hinata.

Behind Hinata, she saw Haku. He held up his hand, as if saying wait. She nodded, and then threw some weapons at Hinata. Hinata dodged them easily, and then saw something with her byakugan. Surrounding her was a ton of senbon.

"Give up now." Haku said, with a slightly pleaded tone. She looked everyone, but saw no opening in the barrier of senbon. She hesitated for a bit, then opened her mouth.

"I-."

"HINATA-CHAN, DON't GIVE UP." Naruto shouted. Hinata turned around to face Naruto.

"I swear, I'll protect you!" Hinata blushed, and her resolve hardened.

"Thank you, Naruto-kun. But I can't always rely on you." She spread out her legs and bent her knees, and held up her hands. Hinata channeled chakra throughtout her bosy.

"Hakkenshou Kaiten!" She shouted as the senbon flew towards her.

'Thank you, Ryuuko-chan, for teaching me this.' She thought.

Neji, who was watching, was surprised. He had never expected Hinata to be able to learn this and master it.

No. As he studied it, he saw flaws. The chakra output was too much, and her control wasn't as good. Most likely, she wouldn't be able to keep it up as long as needed.

He was right. The barrier of chakra disappeared, and Hinata collapsed on the ground. However, there were still some incoming senbon. She watched in horror as they approached.

Closing her eyes, she waiting for the pain. However, she felt nothing.

Opening her eyes, she saw Naruto. Smoke covered her vision, but she was able to realize what had happened.

Naruto had used his clones, and himself as a wall and protected her.

"I told you I would protect you." He said, smiling. She blushed, and then, upon realizing the position they were in, shoved Naruto.

"Um...10 Minutes are over." The protected coughed out awkwardly. The mood was ruined.

Haku frowned, and then sighed.

"I'll give you guys one chance, before I get serious." He said. Shikamaru and Hinata were shocked. He wasn't serious yet?

"Bring it on." Naruto said. Haku looked at the other too.

"Its too troublesome." Shikamaru moaned. "I had to make all of the plans, I'm not doing anything else."

Haku looked at Hinata, who was slightly struggling. After Naruto saved she, she didn't want to give up and put his efforts to waste. However, her oponent was on a different level.

"I'll fight." She finally said. Haku nodded, then formed a series of signs.

Sheets of ice surrounded the two. In all of them was an image of Haku holding senbon.

Before Hinata could understand what was going on, he threw them. Te only way she was able to dodge was her byakugan. Sneaking a glance at Naruto, she saw he was having a hard time as well.

More and more senbon came, some of them tipped with chakra.

After a bit, they stopped. Both of them looked like half formed hedgehogs.

"I...I give up." Hinata finally said. She was bleeding heavily, and was about to drop unconscious. The previous Hakkenshou Kainten had taken most of her strength.

Haku nodded, and the ice mirrors disappeared. She repeated her statement, and Hayate nodded.

"Uzumaki Naruto and Yuki Haku pass." He said, as a team of medics came to treat Hinata.

"You did wonderful." Ryuuko said, as she came down with the other three. Hinata smiled, and then blanked out.

To the people who wanted Hinata to pass, sorry. I couldn't really have Naruto fail, as he is the main character in canon. Also, Haku is extremely strong, so he logically wouldn't fail

hope you guys liked the little NaruHina scene. Pairings are undecided though...
