Me: Okay. I've been looking at things and I've decided Filli Vanilli will be the last episode I decide to align with my story. So, yay.

Informant: And now they know when the end will be nigh.

Wolverine: You do realize that doesn't make much sense speakin' like that.

Informant: Don't care. But, what about the whole big reveal of DB's history?

Me: Thing is...I haven't decided. If the audience has an idea about when they think would be a good time, they can tell me through review and I will take their advice under consideration. Same with them finally realizing their feelings toward one another. Enjoy.

It had been a couple weeks after Twilight's coronation. DB was laying on the couch, reading a book, laying under a blanket, and occasionally taking a bite of noodle soup. I would say chicken noodle soup, but, you know, pony. Avispa walked in from the kitchen with a surgical mask and stuck a thermometer into DB's mouth. After a few moments, she checked it. "102. Wow. How'd you get so sick?"

"Weeeelllll..."

yesterday

DB jumped over a log in the Everfree forest and slid, face first in the mud, some of the mud getting into his mouth.

night time

DB walked out of the forest, shivering slightly and muddy. He let out a sneeze as he walked home.

now

"What were you doing in the Everfree forest? What was making you run?"

"Visiting Zecora for tea. Pack of timberwolves. One that was bigger than most packs."

Avispa rolled her eyes. "Alright. You just rest. I have some more soup ready. Just warm it up. I'm going to go and do what we'd normally do today. I'll come back here around noon. I'll get some ponie to check in on you every few hours, in case an emergency happens."

DB smiled slightly. "Thank you." Avispa nodded and left, turning out the light. DB sat his book down and finished his soup before turning over, asleep within seconds.

Avispa removed her mask and walked to the treebrary. She knocked just before entering. Twilight was levitating a couple of books back to their places. "Hello, Twilight."

"Hello, Avispa. What do you need?"

"I was just wondering if you wouldn't mind checking in on DB, occasionally. He got sick from a trip into the Everfree forest last night."

"Oh, sure. What's he currently doing?"

"He's resting on the couch. He's had a bowl of soup, and there's a glass of water nearby. He also has a fever of 102."

"Okay. Did you come right here?"

"Yes."

"I'll check in on him in a couple hours."

"Thank you. I'll be checking in on him at noon. I'll see you later."

"Bye, see you later."

Avispa walked down the streets, greeting a few ponies. "Who would of thought that a changeling would be well liked in a town after the invasion?" She smiled at the thought. "It's refreshing. Maybe I can get mother to not attack again, but instead try integrating again." She stopped and blinked. "Since when do I think like that?" She shrugged and continued on her way. "Oh well. So I'm thinking about more peaceful ways of doing things." She eventually made her way to Sweet Apple Acres and into the field. She found Applejack bucking some trees. Applejack and Avispa smiled when they seen one another. Avispa made her wya there. "So, we just bucking trees today?"

"Yep. Where's DB?"

"He's sick. He went into the Everfree forest and had gotten into some mud and didn't make it home until late that night."

"A'right. He doin' okay otherwise?"

"Yes."

"Good. Well, let's git ta bucking some trees." And that is just what they did.

fifteen minutes until noon

Avispa wiped some sweat from her forehead before starting up her wings. "Where are yall headed off ta?"

"I told DB I'd check in on him at noon.""

"A'right. Will ya be comin' back fer lunch?"

Avispa shook her head. "No. I'm gonna get something to eat at home. I'll see you later."

"Later, Avispa. Have a good day!"

"You too." Avispa flew off towards DB's home, flying rather slowly from being tired. She was able to enjoy the breeze blowing in her face as she flew, which rejuvinated her some as she landed in front of DB's house. She walked in, seeing DB still asleep on the couch, though his blanket was on the ground. She levitated it onto him before getting something from the kitchen to eat. When she entered, she found a note from Twilight.

"Avispa, I will come back to check on him at two, then at four, unless you let me know. Sincerely, Twilight."

Avispa began making a sandwich, while thinking about what she had left to do today. "Rarity has some dresses for me to try on. Then, Pinkie wanted me to come over to try some new treats. Then, there is the last visit to Twilight's. After that, my work is done and it is just taking care of DB." She nodded as she finished her sandwich. She walked back to the living room, finding DB awake. "Oh. You're awake. How're you feeling?"

"Sick."

Avispa levitated a thermometer over to him and stuck it in his mouth. She then pulled it out and read it. "Well, you've lost a degree. 101."

DB smiled. "Well, that's an improvement. Think you could make me some more soup and bring me another glass of water?"

"Of course." She walked back into the kitchen with the bowl and cup. She filled the cup as she warmed up the soup. She carried the now warm soup and water back to the living room. "That all you need?"

DB accepted both and nodded. "Yes. Thank you."

"No problem. Twilight left a note saying she'll be here in a couple hours." DB nodded as he ate. "I have a few more things to do for the day. See you later."

"Later."

Avispa walked through town, when she heard her mother. "Avispa."

"Yes, mother?"

"I need you to tell me what direction would be the best to attack Ponyville from."

"That would be from the Everfree forest. There is only a zebra there. But, I was wondering if it would be possible to, instead of attacking, we try integrating into the pony society."

Chrysalis let out a laugh over the hive mind. Not jovial, though. A condescending laugh. "Oh, Avispa. Those ponies have started to spoil your mind. There is no way to integrate with them. We are the predator, the superiors-"

"Then how were we kicked out of Canterlot?"

Chrysalis was silent for a time and Avispa smirked slightly. Chrysalis finally replied with anger. "It was an overlooked thing. It won't happen again. But, the lion and lamb cannot lie together. The lion feeds on the lamb, which will make said lamb uncomfortable and will try to get rid of the lion. That is why the lion must force the lamb under its control and eat it. Understand?"

"Yes. I understand..mother." She then cut off communcations, angry. She took her anger under control as she walked into the Carousel Boutique. She smiled at Rarity. "Hello, Rarity."

"Greetings, darling. Where's DB?"

"He's sick. So, I'm doing everything. Twilight and I check in on him every few hours."

"Well, when you go by again, make sure you give him my regards."

"Of course. Now, what do you need me to try and who do you need me to turn into?"

"Actually, the first one is something I made for you. So, if you'll kindly stand up there, I'll get it out for you."

Avispa was rather surprised. Even more when she seen the dress. It was a blue that went well with her eyes. She slipped it on and her wings slipped through the small holes on the side. It fit her nicely. "This...feels nice."

"And it looks rather nice on you. You may have that free of charge."

"Oh, no. I couldn't."

"I insist. You've been so helpful for me. You simply must take it."

"Well, alright. If you insist."

"Fabulous." Rarity helped Avispa out of the dress and gently folded it before putting it in a box. "Now, I have several suits and dresses, along with the pony's picture and measurements." She pulled in a rack with several outfits on it. Avispa sighed.

two hours later

Avispa pulled off the last outfit and turned back to normal. "Is that all?"

"Yes. Thank you, darling."

Avispa levitated the dress onto her back. "You're welcome." She walked out and toward Sugarcube Corner.

Rarity watched as she trotted down the road. "I was so hoping DB could have been here to see her. It would have helped both of them realize their feelings for one another. Oh well. He can still see her in it later." She then trotted to the back of the shop.

Sugarcube Corner

Avispa arrived quickly. She entered the store and trotted to the back where Pinkie was at. "Hi, Avispa! Ya ready to taste some sweets!?"

Avispa smiled at Pinkie's enthusiasm. "Yes. I'm ready." Before Avispa knew it, she was dragged to a table with several sweets, with a bib. "Wow. That's a lot of sweets."

"I know! Now, you just need to take a bite of each."

Avispa nodded and took a bite of the cupcake nearest to her. She blinked at the flavor before chewing it up and taking another bite. She then looked at Pinkie, slightly perplexed. "How did you get this cupcake to taste exactly like excitement!?"

Pinkie smiled a little more. "I've been doing a lot of experimenting! I've been trying to perfect getting the flavors of emotions!"

"And...allow others to eat them."

She nodded. "Yep!"

Avispa blinked a few times and looked at the food before her before looking back at Pinkie. "And each of these has a flavor of an emotion?"

Pinkie shrugged. "I don't know. I've just made a few things that didn't blow up in my face and decided to let you try them. Don't worry. None of the ingredients are poisonous."

"Right. Well, let's get this taste test over with."

half an hour later

When they were done, it was discovered that Pinkie had perfected the flavors of anger, jealousy, pride, happiness, excitement, respect, and sadness. She wrote down the recipes she had used for those and decided to go back to the drawing board for the others. "Thanks, Avispa! I'll go and try to make more emotion-flavored treats!"

"You're welcome. And I think you guys just got a new frequent customer."

"Great! See you later!"

"See you later." Avispa walked out and shook her head. "Only Pinkie could make emotion flavored treats." She chuckled. "Mother would like to know that." So, she went to the Hive mind again. "Mother. I have an interesting piece of news."

"Oh?"

"A pony has just perfected making some emotion-flavored treats."

"That's impossible!"

"No it's not. They have done it. I didn't believe it at first, either. But, after tasting some of the treats, I can confirm they did so. But, they haven't perfected all of them. Only some of them. They are going to continue to try to perfect the others, though."

"Who is this pony?"

"Pinkie Pie, also known as Pinkamena Diane Pie, also known as the Element of Laughter."

"We will keep her alive when we attack to get more of these treats."

Avispa cut off the conversation before saying something she'd regret. "Why am I so adamant about not attacking? Normally, I'd be all for it. Perhaps I do not wish for my friends to be hurt. Oh well. I can dwell on it later." She walked into DB's house and noticed him reading a book. They smiled. "Feeling better?"

"A little. My fever dropped another degree. I'll be fine by tomorrow."

"Is that normal? For an illness to last only a day?"

"Eh. It happens. Depends on the sickness and the pony. How have you been?"

"Not too bad. But, I got a surprise. Pinie has perfected making some treats taste like different emotions."

DB chuckled as he shook his head. "Only Pinkie." He let out an amused sigh. He then turned to Avispa and asked, "Mind getting me another glass of water?"

"Not at all." She did so and sat down in the chair afterwards. She grabbed her own book and the two sat in silence, reading. After the sun went down, Avispa went up to her room while DB slept on the couch.

Me: One more chapter done.

Informant: Another one bites the dust. Another one bites the dust. And another one gone and another one gone, another one bits the dust.

Me: Did you know that when you do CPR, you are suppose to do chest compressions to the beat of either that song or "Stayin' Alive".

Informant: So, you gotta help them stay alive so they don't bite the dust.

Wolverine: What a wonderful pun. You slay me.

Informant: I know. I'm amazing with puns.

Me: Yes you are. Well, review everyone!
