Hey what's up? The ceiling...I know.
...
Jellal stirred when he felt movement on the bed. He felt strands of what seemed like hair tickling his cheeks and he wondered if it was puppy Erza causing the commotion. Creaking one eye open, darkness filled his eyes but he could feel a person against his body.
That's right, he thought to himself. Once again, his dear Captain Knightwalker was having trouble sleeping so he kindly offered to help her out. He carefully lifted his hand to switch the bedside lamp on and luckily for him, the small rumbling of his movements wasn't enough to rouse her from her coma.
He pushed away strands of her scarlet hair from her beautiful face and hummed at the peacefulness of her expression. She tightly clutched onto his left arm while resting her head his chest. Fearing to wake her up, he lied still, listening to her even breathing. A small chuckle came out of the King. Her grip on his arm was deathly tight and was afraid he might have already lost circulation in it. He waited in silence for the Sandman's visit once more but a nudge on his right forced him to open his eyes again.
"Who turned on the lights?" A familiar voice sleepily mumbled. "Ul, turn it off..."
"Meldy?" His coral haired friend's voice registered in his head.
"Ask Jellal. I didn't do it." At that moment, he sat up but was pulled back down by the sheer amount of strength the slumbering Captain was exerting on his poor arm.
"Ultear? Meldy? What are you two doing here?" The Royal King whispered rather loudly.
Ultear popped her head out of the covers and rubbed her eyes lazily. "Meldy and I went here for the sleepover, the one we discussed by the way, but we realized Captain Knightwalker was here so we waited until you two were finished doing..." She paused but quickly resumed shortly after. "That..."
"Doing what?" Jellal regretfully asked.
"You know...that. We didn't want to interrupt." He rubbed his temple, fearing a headache turning up. The imaginations of his dear friends were astounding sometimes.
Jellal turned his head towards them. "Again, we weren't..."
Meldy interjected with one of her comments. "I think sex is what Ul is referring to."
He could hear a strained gasp from his Chief of Staff. "Meldy, where in Edolas did you pick up such a term? You're just a child."
Meldy leaned against Ultear shoulder and scoffed. "I'm twenty, Ultear."
A low growl suddenly emanated from the woman sleeping beside the King. "Dammit, I'm trying to sleep here." Erza sat up, prepared to trounce the noisemakers but then her eyes connected with Jellal's.
And then with Meldy's...
And finally with Ultear's...
"Woman, why are you and..." Knightwalker snapped her finger, searching for the other girl's name.
Jellal patiently reminded her. "Meldy is the name you're searching for."
"Right...that name. Why are you lot creating so much noise!" Jellal was slightly curious that his Captain focused on the noise rather than their presence in his chambers so late at night. "Keep it down or I will kill one or both of you." She lied back on Jellal's chest and yawned. "Bloody layabouts."
True to their words, both Ultear and Meldy kept to their sides, however, sleep had eluded them. "Is our dear Captain in dreamland once again?" Ultear spoke is a hushed volume.
"I believe so." Jellal tested the waters and poked her cheeks.
Receiving no threatening reaction, Ultear followed suit and softly poked Erza on the cheeks. "I thought she was an insomniac. She slept rather fast and soundly by the looks of it." The raven haired woman used her normal speaking voice this time.
Jellal flinched when the redhead's resumed her cinctured on his arm. "I'm not sure what it is. Perhaps she was simply spent. At the end of the day, Erza is human, despite her inhuman acts."
Ultear nodded but Meldy wasn't satisfied. "Maybe Jellal is a comfy pillow?"
The Edolas royalty grimaced, disbelieving that notion. "What are you two doing?"
The girls intently stared at him with inquisitive eyes. "Girls? Stay away from me. Do you want to wake Erza up?" He felt pressure on his abdomen as his friends rested their heads on it. "Ultear, Meldy! Get off!"
Meldy held back her snickering. "Careful, Jellal. You'll rouse the beast." So far, Erza remained motionless. The girls yawned. Several minutes had passed and no more words were uttered between them.
"Hello?"It fell on deaf ears. Jellal wanted to roll on his side but he obviously couldn't. The metaphorical pillow groaned as he himself was unable to suspend his stream of consciousness. "This is rather unfair." He muttered under his breath.
How did he become a pillow?
...
This was a rather short and silly one but I hope you enjoyed it nonetheless. Ultear, Meldy and Jellal are my favorite BrOTP in Fairy Tail so I just can't help but often include the antics of their Edolas counterparts in this story (since this story is just about the Edolas universe.)
Leave me some comments when you have the time and I hope you have a day!

I want to rant about the recent chapters (Ch. 515+) of Fairy Tail down here so if you're not caught up, skip this part.
How about that Irene Belserion reveal? We already know who she was to Erza but it's nice to see a confirmation. Dragging it out more would drive me crazy. While I wait patiently for a new chapter, I can see in some of the forums I peruse that people are losing their collective minds about how quickly the Wendy and Irene switcheroo was resolved. I for one am glad it only took one chapter.
As much as I like the Mother/Daughter thing going on, just let Erza do some of her Talk-no-jutsu to Irene so Mama can join Fairy Tail (For some reason that's the ending I want). I want the Mother/Daughter conflict to end so we can go back to August vs. Jellal. Jellal didn't seem down for the count after all.
