Chapter 36 – Beware of the Voice! Shaddyzomb's Next Sidekick, Voiciossa

Onpu's POV

After the fight with Shaddyzomb and Acnao, I and the others de-transformed while talked about the two demonic zombies.

"Fortunately, Roro came to us when we were together, so we can come here quickly to help you, Onpu-chan," said Doremi.

"So… it seems like, Shaddyzomb will always attack us with one of her friend," concluded Hazuki, "Just like your prediction, Onpu-chan."

"I know, right? She'll take her turn as much as she can, but she doesn't want to make her friends seem useless," I replied, "Even so, I think she actually doesn't really care about her friends, and it was proved that when we attacked her and Acnao today, she avoided our attacks alone, while Acnao got the attacks and disappeared."

"I see. That's why you prefer to use 'seem useless' rather than 'feel useless' in your first statement," Aiko nodded, "She uses her friends as her bait and silently improves her own power, so when we thought that she would be the only one left from the demonic zombie, she would show us her true power."

"By the way, so all of you were together when Roro asked your help?" I asked, "What were you doing then?"

"Well, we just think that it will be better if we always spend our weekend together now, so that Shaddyzomb can't trick us with her power," Momoko explained, "Unfortunately, the Sailor Senshi's parents were visiting them at their house right now, so they can't be here with us."

"Then, where's Kotake-kun?"

"He had a soccer practice today, so he also pass," Doremi smiled, "Then, how about you, Onpu-chan? I think you need to attend your newest movie's gala premiere right now."

"Oh yeah. I'll wake Karen-chan and the others up then. Thanks for reminding me," I hurriedly ran to Karen and the others who were still unconscious, waving to the other Majo Senshi and added, "See you tomorrow, minna!"

"Bye bye!" replied them before walked away from the radio station.

"When I woke them up, it seemed like Karen and the other staffs there couldn't remember about the incident moments ago, including with the dangerous cosmetics which Shaddyzomb gave to her at the toilet, as those acne on her face were already gone.

I sighed in relief. Fortunately we weren't late to come to the gala premiere.

Normal POV

In the next day, after school, the Majo Senshi talked about Shaddyzomb and Acnao with Kotake and the Sailor Senshi at the Sailor Senshi's house.

"By the way, why do we always wait for their attack just to move?" asked Kotake, shifted the subject, "I think we should be the one who attack them first, if we want to defeat them quickly."

"I know what you mean, but isn't it too risky for now?" asked the redhead back to her boyfriend, "We can't just instantly go to their castle and attack them there without any preparation. I mean, we surely will do it in the final battle, but not now."

"Probably, we could do what you say if Charmillion and Piceshia didn't get help from those demonic zombies, Kotake-kun, but now we can't do it," added Momoko, "We're outnumbered by them. Can't you see it?"

"Even so, we can't just wait until they launch their next attack. We should be more active," Kotake argued, "How long do we have to wait for the final battle to happen?"

"Kotake…" Doremi called him, wanted to reply, but suddenly, her Senshi Tap was sparkled. When she took the heart-shaped item out from her pocket, they could hear an unknown voice saying from the sparkling item, "All of you should be patient, because you all won't ever reach the final battle before each of you can upgrade your form to save your Rose Crystals."

"Ah, my tap can spoke!" she shouted, but then she calmed herself and asked the device in her hand, "Wait, what do you mean with 'upgrade our form' things? Should I get a new Senshi Tap again?"

"Eh? Then how about my (and Onpu-chan's) costume? Should we wear a costume with unusual color again?" Momoko also asked, "If that's the case, I don't want to upgrade my form."

"Momo-chan, don't just instantly say it before you hear the further explanation," Aiko retorted, "Besides, if we want to finish this 'Rose Crystal Catcher' things, we should upgrade our form."

"You're right. All of you should upgrade your form before you face your enemies in the final battle," the device spoke again, "and to upgrade your form, all of you should receive some important items."

"Some important items?"

"Feather Diamonds," revealed the white item, "Each of you who have the Rose Crystals will get one of them, then all of you can use it to upgrade your form."

"Feather Diamonds?" asked Doremi, "What should we do to get those diamonds?"

"Is it just like when I collected the eight fragments of the mind shields and used it to save you?" Kotake uncertainly replied, "Does it mean that we'll get one of them everyday?"

"It depends on yourselves," answered the device, "For now, there are an empty slot in each of your transformation item. Each of you will get a Feather Diamond one by one, and once you get it, you should put your diamond into the slot in your transformation item."

"Then, what will happen next? Should we wait until all of us get the diamonds just to upgrade our form together?" asked Hazuki, "Then, what will happen when one or some of us have got her or his or their diamond(s) while the rest of us haven't?"

"The one who get it can increase her or his power in her or his attack, and when seven of you get all of those Feather Diamonds, all of you can upgrade your form."

"Then how about me and my friends?" asked Usagi, "Don't they need our help anymore?"

"They still need your help in some ways. For now, all of the Sailor Senshi just need to support all of the Majo Senshi and the White Tuxedo Mask to protect their Rose Crystals and get their Feather Diamonds."

Meanwhile, at the Rose Crystal Catcher's Castle…

"So, they defeated Acne and knocked you out, right?" asked one of the other demonic zombies to Shaddyzomb, "Seriously, Shad. If you want to defeat them easily, you just need to choose me as your partner. What did you expect from the ugly Acne?"

"Well, sorry about my wrong move. I'm the leader of the demonic zombies anyway, so I should hear any of you and the others' suggestions," replied Shaddyzomb, "Anyways, Voice, it seems like you have a brilliant idea to face them and get their Rose Crystals."

"You're right, Shad. With my special ability, we can easily get what we want," the demonic zombie named Voiciossa smirked, "because my voice can break them in just a second."

"Alright, I trust you, Voice."

Kotake's POV

On the way home, I looked at a small golden ball in my right hand, which was my transformation item. I focused my attention to a small hole there, which probably was the slot for my Feather Diamond once I get it.

"What are you thinking about, Kotake?" asked Doremi who walked home with me, "Why do you see your transformation item like that?"

She looked at the golden ball before added, "By the way, this is the first time you show me your transformation item."

"Really? Well, maybe that's because I just need to throw it to transform," I replied, "Now I just wonder about the Feather Diamonds…"

"Hopefully, we can get all of them before all of those demonic zombies could attack us," she said, "With those Feather Diamonds, we'll be ready to attack them…"

"Along with Charmillion and Piceshia in the Rose Crystal Catcher's castle," I continued what she said, "Honestly, I really want it happen."

"That's our hope, after all," she sighed, "If we can finish all of these, we don't need to worry anymore."

"You're right," I agreed, "Fortunately, I don't have soccer practice for today, so I could go to Tsukino's house with you and your best friends, but… I'm not really sure if I can be with you all once that Shaddyzomb attacks you all again someday."

We then kept silent, until we arrived at her house and waved goodbye at each other. I took a glance at my transformation item before put it back into my pocket.

At home, in my bedroom, I kept thinking about the Feather Diamonds.

'I hope we can collect it quickly, just like when I collected those fragments to save Doremi,' I thought, 'Then we'll go to that castle again to finish everything.'

Suddenly, my transformation item was glowing. It seemed like Shaddyzomb was going to make her next move.

'I wonder who's the one that she attacks now…' I thought, then looked at the sky through the window.

Normal POV

"Is it okay for you both to follow us to Maho-dou before we going home?" asked Hazuki uncertainly to Minako who had plan to stay at her house and Ami who had plan to stay at Aiko's house tonight, "Hana-chan asked me and Ai-chan to accompany her home, though…"

"Eh? Don't you want to accompany me to Maho-dou, Hazuki?" protested Hana-chan, "I just want to walk with you. You know that you're the only one who's going to different school, so we never had any chance to go home together before."

"Don't worry about that. We don't mind if Hana-chan wants to go home with us," Minako waved her hands, "Besides, a longer trip to go home also means that we can have a long talk on the way home."

"Really?" Hazuki asked again, "Even so, Mina-chan, are you sure that you want to stay at my house tonight? We can't go to school together tomorrow…"

"It's okay. I just want to know more about you, Hazuki-chan," Minako smiled, "I've ever stayed at Onpu-chan's house before, then I also have ever visited your other best friends' house more than once, but I only once visited your house… Well, that was just for a few minutes, though…"

"I know what you mean. It was when Rophelia attack me and the others at the party there, right?" Aiko flicked her fingers, "Then you five just could stay there to watch our musical performance."

"Yup! That's what I mean, Ai-chan," she nodded, then shifted her attention back to Hazuki, "Moreover, you're my witch's counterpart, so I think that I should be near with you."

"Uh, alright then," Hazuki finally smiled back, "Honestly, I also want to know more about you."

"By the way, have you ever feel strange that some of us have a counterpart who have totally different personalities?" asked Aiko, "I mean, maybe we can say that Doremi-chan and Usagi-chan are totally similar, but what about the rest of us?"

"You're right, Ai-chan," Ami agreed, "Maybe our hairstyle are a bit similar, but… we have different interests."

"Well, we did have some differences, though…" Hazuki thought for a few minutes before she added, "Maybe we need those differences to equalize our relationship."

"All of you are so lucky," Hana-chan sighed, "Different with you all, I don't have any counterpart…"

"That's not true, Hana-chan," replied Minako, "The Queen of the Witch World said that your ancestor contacted the outer planets kingdoms and made a relationship with them, right? That means, all of the Outer Senshi are your counterparts."

"Outer Senshi?" asked Hana-chan as she tilted her head, didn't understand.

"Actually, there are four more Sailor Senshi outside there, who are the protectors of the outer planets, so we call them the Outer Senshi," Ami explained.

"Then, it also means that you five are the Inner Senshi?" concluded Aiko. Minako and Ami nodded.

"Even so, where are they now? The four Outer Senshi?" asked Hazuki, "Why don't they move here with you five?"

"Well, as there were only six Rose Crystals here at first, we thought that it wouldn't be difficult for five of us to find all of you here, so we decided not to ask their help," said Minako, "Moreover their fighting style is a bit different from ours, so… I don't think that they would agree to move here just to find you all."

"I see."

"Huh, they sound boring," Hana-chan bowed her head as she sighed again, "If only I could be like Doremi and Usagi…"

"Hmm… maybe it would be better if Chibiusa could come here with us…" Ami mused.

"Chibiusa? Ah, Usagi-chan's future daughter, right?" Aiko remembered, "But why do you say it? Can she become a Sailor Senshi like you five?"

"Yes, she can. She's Sailor Chibi Moon, after all," Minako nodded, "Even so, I think her performance is more like Poppu-chan rather than Hana-chan."

"Ah, you're right."

"Mou, seriously. What's with this counterpart things? I also want to be like all of you…" Hana-chan pouted, while Hazuki, Aiko, Minako and Ami just could sigh.

When they just arrived at Maho-dou, suddenly, they heard someone said, "If you want to walk in, give your Rose Crystals first!"

"That voice… It's Dark Celine!" stated Hazuki, "But how can it happen?"

"It must be Shaddyzomb!" Aiko warned, "We should be careful."

"Eh, so you think that I'm Shaddyzomb?" another voice said, "But how if I say to you that I'm your best friend?"

'Usou! It's Onpu-chan's voice!' Aiko thought in disbelief, but then she shouted, "We won't ever believe it if you don't show yourself!"

"Well, but I think it's better if I and the others hide from you all like this, Ai-chan," said the one which sounded like Onpu, "We'll hide from you until Shaddyzomb comes here to pick us up."

"Onpu-chan, is it really you? Have you already give your Rose Crystal to Shaddyzomb? But why?" asked Hazuki, "Don't you want to use your Rose Crystal's power to defeat all of our enemies?"

"Then, sorry about that, but we decided to give our Rose Crystals to them a few minutes ago," said someone else, "and it will be better if you three can do the same."

Aiko's POV

'Eh? Kotake?' I recognized the voice, 'This is so strange. I know that it's his voice, but I also know that it's impossible for him to say something like that, or else…'

"Don't lie to us! You must be one of Shaddyzomb's partner, right? Just show yourself and fight us here!" I shouted, then commanded to Hazuki, Hana-chan, Minako and Ami to transform.

Hazuki's transformation sequence: She hold her Senshi Tap with both of her hands and put it on her chest while she closed her eyes. She then opened her eyes and made her Senshi Tap change to be orange lights which covered both of her arms. She then swung both of her hands around to the opposite direction to cover her body with a long piece of orange bright ribbon. Hazuki then moved both of her hands to the both side of her body and made her gloves appeared, and when the bright ribbon was gone, her costume appeared, which was a leotards with orange skirt with a piece of short pale orange ribbon behind it and orange collar with pale orange bow ties, along with her high heels, a necklace with orange ribbon and yellow heart shaped pendant, a pair of yellow heart shaped earrings and a tiara. Her crystal was on her golden tiara.

Aiko's transformation sequence: She hold her Senshi Tap with her right hand and put it on her left wrist, made it change to be a small whirlpool which covered both of her arms. She then stretched both of her hands, appearing her long gloves. She then swung both of her hands around to the same direction to cover her body with the larger whirlpool, and when the whirlpool was gone, her clothes had already changed to be her costume, which was a leotards with blue skirt with a piece of short green ribbon behind it and blue collar with green bow ties, along with her boots, a necklace with blue ribbon and yellow round pendant, a pair of yellow small earrings and a tiara. Her crystal was on her golden tiara.

Hana-chan's transformation sequence: After the Senshi Tap became a bright light on her right hand, she swung her left hand around her right wrist. She then did the same to her left wrist with her right hand, made her gloves appeared. She then swung both of her hands around her feet, changed her shoes with her cream boots. She also did the same to her upper body, made her leotards appeared, then hold her left hand with her right hand, made a cream skirt appeared with a piece of long pink ribbon behind it. She tapped both side of her chest and made a cream collar appeared, along with a pink bow ties with a yellow crescent shaped brooch on the middle of the bow ties, and at last, she stretched both of her hands. In an instant, a golden tiara appeared around her head, along with a pair of yellow crescent shaped earrings and a necklace with cream ribbon and yellow crescent shaped pendant. Her crystal was on her golden tiara, and like Doremi, her hair also tied like Usagi's hairstyle.

"Witchi Senshi Hazukichii!"

"Witchi Senshi Aikochii!"

"Witchi Senshi Hana-chanchii!"

"Alright then, if you really want some attacks from us, we'll attack you," said the one who sounded like Kotake, "Dark Blue Rose!"

Some dark blue Rose appeared out of nowhere, but we managed to dodge all of them.

"No doubt, Ai-chan. It's Shaddyzomb!" stated Hazuki, "She always uses the dark version of our attacks, right?"

"You're right, Hazuki-chan, but the problem is we don't know exactly where she hides now," I replied, "We can't attack her back."

"I don't think so," Ami shook of her head, "If we can find out their voice's source, we can attack them."

"Hey, it sounds like, you're so sure that Shaddyzomb isn't attacking us alone this time," I caught what she said, "Alright then, let's we detect the voice."

"Hell Fire Beams!"

Shaddyzomb tried to attack Hazuki with the dark version of Onpu's attack, but she could dodge it and quickly launched her attack to the spot where the dark attack came from, "Starry Heart Ribbon!"

"Extreme Lightning Bullet!"

I heard Momoko's voice shouted from my left hand side, so I dodged the said attack and turned to the left before launched my attack, "Aqua Needle Rain!"

"Dark Blue Rose!"

"Mystical Fallen Star!"

This time, Shaddyzomb launched two attacks to Hana-chan, but then she protected herself with her defensive attack, "Crystal Shield!"

Hana-chan then immediately launched another attack with her rod, "Little Sparkling Star!"

Ami and Minako also tried to attack both Shaddyzomb and her mysterious partner, then we managed to launch our attacks to the same spot.

"Starry Heart Ribbon!"

"Aqua Needle Rain!"

"Little Sparkling Star!"

Finally, both of the enemies appeared.

"I know you're lying!" I shouted to both of them, "Those were your voices, right? All of my best friends won't ever give their Rose Crystals to you."

"Alright then, now I have no choice," Shaddyzomb sighed, but then she commanded her ally, "Voiciossa, run our final plan!"

The mentioned demonic zombie, Voiciossa, didn't waste his time to chanted a spell. His voice weakened us, as we fell onto the ground and laid down there.

'No way! This isn't the end for us, right?' I thought, 'I won't ever let them steal our Rose Crystals away, but in this state, we can't attack them.'

"We should never give up!" said Hana-chan to all of us here. She held my left hand and Hazuki's right hand, "We should protect our Rose Crystals until the end!"

"You're right, Hana-chan… Don't let them win so easily," I added, "Show them our true powers!"

"But what should we do now? His spell successfully decreases our power," said Hazuki worriedly, "Even if we can do something, I don't think…"

"Then we both will protect you three," Minako cut what her counterpart said as she held the brunette's free hand, "We'll keep fighting until the end."

"No matter how strong they are, we… shouldn't give up from them!" Ami continued. She held my free hand, "We should believe that we won't ever lose to them!"

Unexpectedly, I, Hazuki and Hana-chan shouted in unison, "We'll never stop hoping!"

Suddenly, right after we shouted it, three sparkling items appeared in front of us, three wing-shaped little gems…

"The Feather Diamonds!"

Our Senshi Taps appeared from the ribbon on our chests. We then wasted no time to took each of the diamonds and put it into the slots in our Senshi Taps, held the transformation items tightly until it disappeared again. In that moment, we instantly regained our powers.

We immediately stood up and attack both Shaddyzomb and Voiciossa at the same time, once again.

"Starry Heart Ribbon!"

"Aqua Needle Rain!"

"Little Sparkling Star!"

It seemed like our attacks became stronger, as it even could make Voiciossa disappeared. Even so, just like when she escaped from us after we defeated Acnao, Shaddyzomb vanished into the thin air.
