Arcee's Mistrust
Life is what has kept me from writing, after all I had accepted a job offer and it does depend when I can update my stories in a month so all I can do is plan and hope for the best. I would like some feedback on where to go because I read suggestions on where to go from chapter and it won't be long until Hannah has to go through training with Ironhide and Hound to protect herself from Blackarachnia's sister so that way there won't be any more abductions. I am open ideas, could use some feedback.
Arcee's POV
'Why did Optimus allow that spider's sister be in charge of caring for Hannah her younger sister abducted Hannah and tried to have one of her minions pose as her. If that older spider makes one move I don't care what Optimus says' Arcee thought as she went to the medical bay to see Hannah. Cliffjumper broke me out of thought "Arcee I know what you are thinking and besides Hannah told me she has no issues with Blackarachnia in fact Hannah told me she has her to thank because of the venom that could have paralyzed her for the rest of her life". "I still don't trust her" I said as I walked up to Grimlock and Slug "name and identification or you not pass" Grimlock said as his imposing frame leaned forward to my face plate. "Autobot Arcee and Cliffjumper" Cliff said showing the badge and I showed mine too knowing Optimus had issued the Dinobots to guard Hannah.
"Many see Hannah, we get to when able" Slug said as he and Grimlock moved to the side to let the two of us pass through them. "Blackarachnia good with her too" Grimlock added causing my energon to freeze 'she better be or else' I thought as the two of us walked to where Ratchet had Hannah 'wish he would let me have my own space when he has me in his medical bay' I thought as we walked into where Hannah was recovering from her ordeal at the claws of Arachnid. I wasn't surprised Hannah was recharging, after all Ratchet informed all Autobots this is part of her recovery and we all knew Hannah just wanted to get out of Ratchet's medical bay.
"I know what could have happened Hannah, we had no idea but when Optimus told us something was wrong we never thought Arachnid took you again and tried to have a Decepticon Pretender release Megatron" I said to the recharging youngling. The thought of Hannah being framed by the Decepticons and having her returned to have the whole population of Earth and Cybertron turn on her and lock her with Megatron if he and the Decepticons were caught. "Arcee at least Hannah stopped the whole thing on her own and sure she was injured by the two Con and Hannah told me she knew it would be a matter of time before the Pretender would act suspicious and Hannah was the one who foiled the whole coup" Cliff said.
Soon we turned to the door way to find both Ratchet and Blackarachnia "we needed to check on Hannah now" Ratchet said as he got his scanner out and the spider's older sister walked up to Hannah. "Now Hannah I need to see if the venom has been purged from your body" she said "well it checks out Ratchet the venom has been purged from her body" she said. "Well then I shall break this to Optimus Prime and Elita-one right away" Ratchet said "thank you for your aid Blackarachnia" Ratchet said. I began to feel even more uncomfortable and as soon as both Ratchet and Cliff left the room leaving me alone with Hannah and Blackarachnia.
Blackarachnia's POV
"Is something on your mind Arcee?" I asked the younger sister of Elita-one "why are you" Arcee was about to say "I know you don't trust me Arcee but I am only here as a medical officer and I have been in charge of Hannah's care because of my younger sister and I need to see to other patients and to tell you Hannah trusts me full well and she knows about Arachnid. My sister never could gain approval from our creators because she was nothing but a problem creation" I said. "I know a spider's web Blackarachnia" Arcee said "Arcee please I really couldn't come to terms with you not trusting me because of my sister's actions, Hannah is going to be released soon and Optimus will be there to get Hannah. Arcee do me a favor, keep me out of my sister life cycle, Hannah had told me she sounded like a really bad seed and I had earned Hannah's trust, Optimus knows I would never harm Hannah" I said.
"Now if you would excuse me Optimus will be here soon and I am in no mood to discuss my sister, in fact I never consider Arachnid my sister after her action with Cybertron and after what she has done to Hannah. To harm the All Spark's vessel and the youngling who was the main reason Cybertron is back to what is was before Megatron caused so much war and destruction" I said. Arcee shut up and left. After that I heard Hannah began to stir and I turned to face Hannah "what was" Hannah was about to ask "Hannah I had a word with Arcee and I am sorry you had to hear all of this. I get tired with Arcee comparing me to my sister, Arachnid was the one who plotted to abduct Hannah, and she was the one who caused many Cybertronain citizens pain. I walked out and thought 'I hope Optimus gets here soon' I thought as I went back to my office.
Hannah's POV
I was alone with Arcee and of course I was rather pleased I was going to be released from Ratchet soon. 'I'm looking forward to freedom from being in the bed, out of the outfit and more' I thought as I went into a private area to change out. "Not if you if you keep thinking and saying that I will keep you here youngling" I heard Ratchet call on the other side of the wall "thank you Blackarachnia" I said through the wall "my pleasure youngling" Blackarachnia said. When I was done changing out of my clothes I decided to ask Arcee something that has been on my mind since Blackarachnia cared for me. "I see you are ready to leave Hannah" Arcee said "I am and Arcee can I ask you something that has been bugging me" I said to her. "What is it" she asked back "what do you mistrust Blackarachnia, she was able to get the venom purged from me and cared for me after being injured by both Nightstrife and Arachnid" I asked. "It is her sister I resent the most but she has yet to earn my trust" Arcee said "Arcee Arachnid was the one who caused this not her sister, I feel we should be more concerned about the remaining Decepticons and not Blackarachnia, she cared for me and told me everything about her sister being a problem in the family" I said.
With that Arcee left while I waited for Optimus to come and get me from the bay. 'I hate it when Arcee is consumed by resenting the younger sister of the medic who was able to keep my from being paralyzed for the rest of my life' I thought while I watched for Optimus outside the window. It wasn't too long until he got me from the medical bay and took me hone. "I am pleased you were able to pull through Hannah and I am going to promise you we have taken safeguards to ensure this never happens again" Optimus said during the ride back. "I know Optimus and I had to thank Blackarachnia for everything but I had to defend her verbally from Arcee though" I said. "I will need to have a word with Arcee about her behavior towards Blackarachnia" Optimus replied.
'I have a feeling as to where this is going to go' I thought "What makes you think that" Optimus asked "call it a feeling" I replied to him until we got back to the palace.
