Chapter 33
Ari P.O.V
Cari returned twenty minutes after she had left, with a couple of shopping bags. I had drawn the heavy curtains that were in the caravan just after she had left. It wouldn't do if someone found out that there were people staying on the site, when no one was supposed to be here. I had also turned on the portable heater, to get the previously cold living room area, warmed up.
"What did you get?" I asked.
"Cereal, cooked meats, bread, some sausages and bacon, noodles milk, eggs, soup, and some tinned fruit, as well as drinks and some vegetables. It should see us through for a while."
I got up and helped her un pack and place most of the things away in the fridge or cupboards. We left out the noodles, and when we were done, we pulled out a cooking pan, and two bowls. Cari and I busied ourselves with cooking food for ourselves, instead of our friends who were still at that place. We could get them out when we had reinforcements.
When we were done, we stuck the T.V on, and sat down to eat our food. We made sure the volume was down low, but we could still hear it.
After a while, the both of us fell asleep, curled up under a couple of blankets on the sofa, with the portable heater directly in front of us and on high.
No. P.O.V.
The back lanes that lead to their final destination were starting to frustrate Sabertooth. They were starting to look the same. He turned the car into an even narrower, winding lane. He followed it round, following the signal, until he reached a small caravan site.
He parked the car, in the large area behind the five static caravans. A second car pulled up beside them as he and Toad got out and closed the door.
The X-Men climbed out. "I thought they were in some sort of facility." Cyclops said.
"Ari can teleport." Sabertooth said. He took a deep breath through his nose, and recognised the only other two scents on the site. Kitten, and Cari.
He started off towards the last but one caravan.

I started awake at the sound of car door's closing, and shook Cari awake. She started to say something, but I put a finger to my lips, and then pointed at my ear and then outside.
We slid quietly to the floor, and pressed ourselves to the walls below the two windows, keeping low. My heart started to beat quickly as I heard someone approaching the door. I crawled towards it, and crouched down behind it. I heard the lock click, and guessed they'd picked it.
I saw the handle start to move down. My muscles tensed, ready to pounce. The door opened, and I jumped forward, claws drawn, ready to attack whoever was on the other side of the door.
Before I could reach them, however, they grabbed me by the wrists, and pulled. My momentum kept me propelling forward, and I was only stopped from hitting the ground when one hand let one of my wrists go, and an arm wrapped around my waist, pulling me against a muscled chest. I growled and started to struggle.
"Calm down kitten. It's just me." A very familiar voice growled in my ear.
I stopped struggling and growling. "Vic?"
"Told you I'd come for you." He said, releasing his hold on my waist.
I whipped round, and buried my face in his chest. His arms wrapped round me again.
"Is it safe?" Cari asked, appearing at the door.
"Yeah Cari, it's safe." I laughed.
"You weren't able to get the others out?" A voice asked.
I peered over Vic's shoulder to see Logan, Storm, and three others.
I shook my head. "We didn't know where they were. We were only able to plan our escape using our telepathy. We couldn't get a lock on anyone else's thoughts."
"Everyone in." Cari said, "We'll talk more in the warm."
We all moved into the caravan, and Cari relocked the door.
