1 Month, 3 weeks and 4 days counting, Toothless had told her. She put a hand over her belly. Was she ready to have a baby? Hell to the no. Was she scared out of her wits? You betcha!
Even with Toothless's super-smelling abilities they had no idea what gender the baby was. Part of her hoped it was a boy, since on Berk it meant that she and Toothless would have a strong marriage, but Toothless said he was more inclined to believe it was a girl, since the nightfuries had some old myth about children between dragons and humans. Still, there was no way of telling as of yet.
The baby still wasn't quite showing, and she was beginning to wonder if it was small or something. Toothless told her it might not show this early into the pregnancy.
She wanted to ask him if they'd ever get married, but refrained. Nightfuries didn't marry, as far as their traditions went she and Toothless were mates. As far as Viking traditions went, their child would be a bastard.
But she didn't want to force him into something he might not like. And then there was the whole thing with the witnesses. She shuddered. Oh god, no. She looked at Toothless who was busy trying to scale a tree to bring them down some coconuts. Ever since they'd come here he'd tried to be a bit more 'human' and part of her thinks he's just playfully mocking her, which she finds rather endearing.
The other part wants him dead. Burned at the stake. Now.
Ahhh, speaking of food. Her last proper meal? A week or so ago. Why? Baby don't like jungle food.
She grimaced. Hiccup had always been one of those vomiters who vomited with both her mouth and her nose, and if it was horrible doing it whenever stomach flu season came out, imagine how she felt doing it two to four times a day…
She sighed. This baby had already put them through so much. But she was sure it couldn't get worse.

A handsome, young boy stands in an empty field. He looks up to the sky of the seemingly abandoned island and groans. Another false trail. Seriously! What's the point of going on a quest if you just continuously run into dead ends.
On his shoulder sits a hawk. The hawk is beautiful, feathers reflecting the moonlight.
The boy rips a piece of paper from his notebook and writes a note.
No luck here. Try Berserker Isles next.
He gives it to the bird, who is quite well trained as far as carrying messages goes, and the bird flies off.
The Meathead and Bogburglar Isles have been checked. That leaves the Peaceables and Berserker Isles before they need to start worrying.
.
Aster sat in the Great Hall being congratulated. He'd killed his first dragon, and it was awesome!
Tuffnut was talking to some girl. He thinks her name was Mirtha? Whatever. She was kind of cute.
Snotlout and Ruffnut were talking about scars and battles. Pssh, what did they know about battle. OK, maybe he'd had a bit much to drink. He did feel a tad whoozy, but it was OK. All was well in the world.
.
A girl stands in one of the Peaceable islands. She is awaiting word from her comrade of how his quest is going. A bird shoots out of the trees and a note drops to the ground.
She picks it up.
Ah. So he would be checking out the Beserker islands. She knew she had to wait now. They had made a promise to one another, no going to the dangerous islands, i.e. Outcast Island, Hysteria, etc. Without the other for backup.
She took out her charcoal pencil and wrote on the back:
Am in Peaceable territory. Not long to finish. 3 days max.
She whistled and back came the Hawk, flying obediently back to its master.
She sighed, this was going nowhere.
Where was she!?

Some of you may be confused, but I know some of you know. Also, to MMM you had some really awesome questions that I'd love to answer, but I don't want to risk spoilers for the others, so if you could make an account or sign in to yours I could maybe give you some answers.
Thanks for reading, next update:… tomorrow, oh wow.
