"There's a party out on the Porter farm tonight. Huge bonfire," Wade told Zoe catching up to her on the way to her locker.

"I heard from, Peter. He invited me himself. But after the last party I attended, I'm not so sure going to another one is going to do me any good. Besides, I've only got one more week before, I leave for New York. As much as I want to spend time with my friends, I want to spend as much time as possible with my very cute and adorable boyfriend," Zoe told him, stopping at her locker. It was the last day of school and they were now free to leave, with school being over with until September.

"But you don't have any troubles like last time. You're not going to find a way to distract yourself like before. We can have fun at the party and not drink. Come for a few hours. We don't have to spend the whole night there."

"You really want to go, don't you?" Zoe asked, pulling her locker open, to stuff all her belongs into her bag. "It could be fun, is everyone else going?" She asked with a sigh, giving in to her boyfriend.

"It's not about going so much as spending time with you doing something, we don't normally do. I think so. AB is going because Travis is going to be there..."

"That guy is nothing but trouble, I don't see what AB sees in him," Zoe said, cutting Wade off. He didn't really care, but he did know that the guy was bad news. He was 2 years older than they were, if something was to go wrong they could trace it back to being Travis. He was a straight up punk, with a bad attitude.

"Who knows," Wade sighed. "George convinced Lemon to come have some fun." He was going to stop there, knowing Zoe would have something to say about that, like she has something to say about everything, when it comes to their friends.

"You sure that wasn't the other way around?" Zoe asked, shutting her locker. It was common knowledge that Lemon was the one to talk George into doing just about everything they ever did.

"Whatever," he told her with an exasperated sigh. "Does it really matter? No, they're coming and it would be nice to have someone else there to keep a close eye on AB. We don't want her doing anything she might regret come morning." She couldn't pass up the logic in what Wade was telling her. She had seen that he was into smoking pot. She didn't want AB to get caught up in something like that.

"I already said I would go with you, so stop trying to convince me even more. Just come by the house, but don't say anything to my dad about it. He might not want me to go to another party after the last incident. I'll see what I can do. But I might have to fib just a little to go out with you tonight."

"Just as long as you don't get into trouble for lying to him and going to a party. He'd ground you the last week you have here and you'd still be grounded long after you came back." Zoe smiled, kissing his cheek.

"You worry too much, but it's sweet," she told him, stepping out into the sun that was over head. "I promise I won't do anything that will get me grounded," she assured him, walking in the direction her house was. Wade slipped his hand into hers, lacing his fingers with hers.

"I get to worry about my girlfriend, it's the boyfriend's duty," he replied with a smirk. Zoe rolled her eyes, bumping him with her shoulder.

"Then as the boyfriend you are going to be worrying this whole summer, when I'm off in the big city and you're here in little old Bluebell." She was going to be worried about Wade and missing him like crazy, but this time apart was going to do them some good. They had been so attached as of late that a few months apart was going to be a fresh breath of air for them. She hated that she was going to be spending the summer away from him, but at 15 you shouldn't be this attached to your boyfriend. They had plenty of time to be with each other in the future.

"What about you? You saying you won't miss me?" He asked, faking a hurt look. Zoe shrugged, pushing her house door open.

"Depends," she replied, walking in. "Want anything?"

"Nah, I'm fine," he replied, pulling her to him. "You really won't miss me? Or even worry about me?" He asked with a slight pout. Zoe couldn't resist kissing his pouting lips.

"Of course I will," she whispered, Wade rested his forehead against hers. He smiled light kissing her nose.

"Zoe, Wade." Harley's voice had the teens jumping away from each other.

"Dad, hey," Zoe greeted with a smile.

"Hey, Harley. Zo, I'll catch ya later." Zoe nodded, letting him leave.

"Plans with Wade later?" Harley asked, moving to the kitchen, since Wade and Zoe were still practically in the door way.

"Yea, that ok?" she asked fidgeting.

"Should be, just don't do anything stupid. I'm going to be out with Caroline. You'll be fine home alone, right?" Harley asked. It wasn't the first time she had spent the night alone and she really was ok with it. Because if something did happen to go wrong at the party then her dad wouldn't be here to witness it.

"Yea," Zoe told him. She was glad they spent most nights they did get to spend with each other away from the house. She didn't want to walk in on anything or hear noise's in the middle of the night.

"I'll be back tomorrow after work and we can spend the night together before you spend every waking moment with Wade this next week."

"I'll always have time for my father," Zoe told him stealing a grape from his plate, rushing up the stairs to dig through her closet, trying to find the right outfit for the night.

A few hours later she emerged from her room wearing a light pink crop top, dark blue boot cut jeans. She slipped her sneakers on, tossing on one of the hoodies she had taken from Wade. She rushed out the door, just as Wade was ready to knock.

"How'd you know I was here?" Wade asked, letting his hand rest on her hip, holding her close.

"I didn't, I was just going to wait outside for you," she shrugged.

"When do you need to be home?" Wade asked, dismissing his girlfriend's odd behavior.

"I really don't have a curfew tonight. He's at Caroline's place again." That's when it had clicked in his head. She didn't want him to know that she was going to be home alone. But what did that mean? He was a bit scared to ask her. So instead he was going to let it slip. "Are we really going to walk the whole way there?" She asked with a slight panic. She didn't want to walk the almost 6 miles to Porter's farm.

"Are you crazy?" He asked, turning to see the glint in her eye. "Don't you dare say it," he warned. "We got a ride."

"Really?" She groaned, seeing Randy and his group of friends. They were trouble makers. They weren't bad, they just got bored easy and liked to have a good laugh at other people's expense's.

"It won't be that bad, Zoe. I swear. I'm going to be right here by your side the whole time." She would rather walk the 6 miles then be stuck in a car with them for 6 minutes. She nodded, trusting Wade.

The car ride didn't last long and Zoe was thankful for that. She couldn't stand another sexual remark they made about her. Wade had tried to defend her honor, but they would laugh and say that Wade wouldn't be able to do anything if they wanted to have their way with Zoe. She had moved closer to Wade. It was highly possible that he would have a small bruise on his arm from where her fingers had dug into his flesh. It was decided that they would just walk back into town.

"I can't wait for you to have our own car and a license's," Zoe commented, keeping a tight grip on Wade, while they walked around looking for their friends. The night was still young and plenty of kids from school were there ready to start the summer of with a bang.

"I've got a car picked out, just gotta turn 16 first. You gonna be back for my birthday?" He asked, a hint of sadness to his voice.

"With the best present, ever!" Zoe exclaimed. There was no way she was going to miss her boyfriend's birthday. Wade smiled, kissing her.

They had found their friends and they guys had went off leaving the girls alone. George and Wade were going to go track down something to drink because they didn't want to hear about gossip.

"You really need to be careful when it comes to Travis," Zoe warned, seeing that her friend couldn't stop staring at the boy in question.

"The guy is bad news, AB. Can't you find a different guy to ogle?" Lemon asked.

"He's not that bad when you get to know him," AB sighed. Only her mood brightened up when Travis walked up to them.

"Annabeth, come with me." It was more of a demand than anything else. AB gladly followed the older boy. Zoe didn't have a good feeling about it. But there was nothing she could do about it. AB wasn't going to listen to anyone.

"What happened to AB?" George asked, walking up to them, handing Lemon a soda.

"Travis, happened," Zoe replied, giving Wade a smile taking her can of soda from him.

"She's still crushing on that dirt-bag?" George asked, shaking his head. It was a question that none of them had to answer.

"Let's go dance," Zoe suggested, taking Wade's hand leading him to where the music was at. It didn't matter what the song was, they swayed to the beat, holding each other close.

It was about a half hour later when Lemon and George approached them. They hadn't thought anything of it until they said they were worried about AB. Lemon had pointed out a very high and drunk Travis but AB was nowhere in sight. They started to get panicked when they found her sitting off by herself away from the party. Her shirt was tore.

"He didn't, did he?" Wade asked, voicing the question they all wanted to know.

"No, he tried, but I shoved him off. I was such a fool for thinking he really liked me," AB sobbed. "I'll catch up with you guys later. I just want to be alone." They hated that they couldn't do anything for her. After that they had called it a night themselves.

"I hope AB is going to be ok," Zoe sighed, resting her head on his shoulder as they walked through town.

"She'll be fine, after she gets some sleep." Zoe nodded, walking the rest of the way in silence.

"You can come in," Zoe commented, seeing that Wade hadn't made an effort to climb up the few steps.

"You sure? You were pretty adamant on not letting me in earlier."

"I'm sure," she told him. "It's still early, we can watch a movie," she suggested. Wade was ok with that. He shut the door behind him.

They were curled up on the couch, the movie long forgotten about out. Their tongues were playing a game of their own. Zoe's hands had seeped under Wade's shirt, her nails scratching his back lightly. Wade's hands had found their way under Zoe's shirt, skimming up her stomach to cup her bra covered boob. Their kiss deepened as Wade fondled his girlfriend.

"We can't Wade," Zoe told him, gently shoving him off. "I'm not ready to do anything else," she whispered, hoping that he wasn't mad at her.

"It's ok," he whispered, kissing her forehead. She nodded, fixing her shirt. "I really should get home before my parents come looking for me. I'll see tomorrow after my shift, that is if you don't come in."

"I might come in and watch from afar," she giggled, kissing him once more.

"I'll be waiting," he chuckled, getting to his feet. Zoe blushed doing the same.

She locked up once Wade left, going up to bed. She was tired and she wanted the night to be over with, so she could go check on Annabeth.

After being told that AB had yet to emerge from her room, Zoe was even more so worried about her friend. She knocked lightly hearing soft sobs coming from her room. Carefully Zoe made her way over to the bed.

"What happened?" She asked in a whisper.

"He said he was sorry for trying to do anything, I was stupid enough to believe him. I had a beer with him and then he offered me a hit, I was stupid enough to try the pot. That made me want more of the beer and the pot. Then he had his way with me." Her sobs turned into full-out cries Zoe hugged her friend, holding her. She was pissed that Travis had snooped that low to get what he wanted from AB. She was going to tell Lemon and they would decide if they guys should know about it or not. AB needed to tell her parents but Zoe wasn't going to give her an ultimatum about it either.
