Chapter 36: Bleeding Love
"I bet you are wondering who I am?" The man asked, he descended from the stairs as his blonde hair came into view.
Shun have never seen his guy before, but something about him threw him off.
"I am Prince Hydron, the boy whom your father left homeless, because of him I lost both of my parents. Your father killed my father, my mother, and my big brother. It was only fair for me to the same."
Shun growled, he felt someone gripped his wrist and chain them to the floor.
"You lair." He screamed.
"Your father was a killer, an assassin." Prince Hydron said and dig inside his pockets.
The man took an object out and pressed a button. Soon pictures on a screen, began to show.
Shun ripped his gaze away from the screen, away from those images that classified his father as a killer.
"You don't want to see the images of your great father." The man said. He stopped the presentation and looked back at Shun.
"Sean, made a big mistake. He killed my family and now I will do the same with you and Chan, like I did with him. Sean cried the day he was killed. He died in prison accuse of a crime he never committed. You will be joining him soon."
"You will pay for this." Shun yelled, but only heard the man chuckled. Shun tugged and pulled on the chains, but it was all in vain.
Alice woke up in the middle of the night. She looked toward the empty spot of the bed, wishing that Shun was there. She pushed the blankets away and rushed to the door.
One last time, she called Shun's name. She wanted to see him rush up the stairs to kiss her and hold her in his arms. The only thing she wanted right now was to know that Shun's death was a nightmare. Instead of Shun running up the stairs, it was Runo and Dan.
"Where is Shun?" Alice asked, moving from the bedroom door and walking to the front steps of the stairs. She looked down and only saw Julie, Ace, and Mira standing there.
"Alice, Shun is gone forever." Alice was having a hard time realizing that her husband was gone. She was in denial, her mind was telling her that Shun was alive and that he would walked through the front door.
"No he is not." She said, she grabbed on top the stairs pole and fell down.
"He is gone." Dan said, he placed his hand on her arm.
Alice noticed the honesty written on Dan's face. He was telling the truth. Shun was gone. Reality was sinking in and it hit her hard. Tears strained her cheeks. She looked toward her friends, their eyes were red. She stood up and walked toward her room.
"I lost my love. I want to be alone." She said, she wiped the tears from her face and walked in the room before closing the door behind her. She wanted to cry alone…all alone.
Shun found himself standing in front of a prison. He pushed against them, but the men were strong. The black-man had heard their names before Volt and Shadow. They force him to enter the jailhouse.
"What is the problem?" The policeman asked.
"We found the man who murder Old Stan." Volt said, "Ain't that right Shadow." The man named Shadow nodded.
"That is a lie, I am innocent." Shun said.
"Any proofs?" The policeman asked.
"Yes, the weapon." Shadow replied, he show the policeman the weapon.
"I am innocent." Shun repeated again.
The policeman took the gun and said," That is what all the criminals say." He called other policemen and took Shun to the one of the cells.
Alice woken up to the sound of people voices. Runo was sleeping on the other side of the bed. She wore the same outfit from yesterday, her hair and makeup a mess. Alice stood up from the bed and walked to the bathroom. She brushed her teeth and washed her face and went back to her room to stay put in bed.
"Alice, are you okay?" She heard Runo asked, as the blue-haired rubbed her eyes.
"I want him back. I wish he was here with me." She whispered, allowing herself to fall on the bed, she crumpled into pieces.
"I am so sorry." Runo said giving her friend a hug.
Runo saw the state her friend was in last night and she couldn't leave her alone. She entered the room, when she saw Alice had fallen asleep already.
"Can I borrow some clothes and your shower?" Runo asked, Alice pointed toward the closet full of clothes.
Alice let Runo changed and went to the kitchen for a cup of coffee. She spotted Dan in the living room. He was still affect with the news about Shun.
"Alice." He said, one his eyes made contact with hers. He ran toward her and embraced her into a hug. With the help of Dan, Alice walked toward the kitchen. She picked a fresh cup of coffee and sip on it. One of the maid had the television on.
"We are now at the scene of the accident, where polices say that the famous business man Shun Kazami was found. Polices found the body along with other personal belongings. The young man had just announced his re new of vows with his wife Alice Kazami, and the happy couple were expecting a child. We are really sorry for this tragic that strike the Kazami family. Back to you, Joanna."
Alice let the cup fall creating a big noise. Everyone in the kitchen stared at her, but she was so upset to say something. She pushed Runo out of the way and climbed up to her room. Grabbing the picture of her husband, she pressed it against her chest. The only thing she wanted to do was to be with him. Soon, she fell asleep.
Fabia let out a big gasped as she heard the news. Shun Kazami was dead. Dead.
"He died." She scream over and over.
Ren had heard the commotion from outside and came running in.
"Are you okay?" He asked, looking into her eyes.
"Shun...Shun died." She said, pressing her hands into her face.
"Shun, pass away." Ren repeat slowly, he allowed the words to enter his mind.
"You should be happy, you wanted him gone." Fabia screamed, she pushed the blankets away.
"Shun was my best friend in high school, I couldn't had never wished him anything bad." He recalled those times went he and Shun would help each other out. Shun was the greatest friend anyone could wish for. He grabbed onto her head and pressed her to his chest. Ren could feel her tears strain his shirt. "Good-bye Shun." He thought, as he felt some tears wet his cheek.
Alice stare at the funeral home in front of her. She move along with Runo and Julie were standing beside her. Slowly, she entered the place. It was already fill with people here and there. Goosebumps spread on her skin as she walked to the place were Shun's casket was located. She entered the room and only found a small box in the middle. She immediately rushed to pick up the small box.
"Where is Shun?" She asked, turning around to face everyone.
"What do you mean?" Dan asked, he gave her a confusing face.
"I never said that I wanted Shun's body cremated." Alice said, she let the box down and rushed to talk with the manager.
"Where is my husband's body?" She asked, anger fill her eyes.
"Your husband body was cremated. It was an order from a family member." The man replied.
"Who?" Dan asked, standing beside Alice.
The man grabbed his clipboard and said, "Chan Kazami."
"No, how could she?" Alice asked, she walked back to the place where the small box was located and stared at it. With tears in her eyes, she fell down and slowly said, "I lost you, I lost my hero, my husband, I love my true love." She wasn't going him to see him anyone. No more words, no more laughs, no more hugs, no more love, Shun was gone. She wanted to return back the time and stopped him from going away, from leaving that day. She held the box against her chest. He was really gone.
Shun removed all his clothes and handle them to the policeman. A policeman behind him pushed him toward the showers. Shun had to washed his body with cold freezing water. As quickly as he could, he dried himself up. The policemen gave him a pair of jeans, a white plain tee-shirt, and a grey buttoned-up shirts. Shun was taken to another room where there was a camera. A policeman gave him a card with his full name and a number. It was his mug shots. Shun really hated this place, the policemen pushed him along to the cell rooms. He entered the room fill with prisoners. Some inmates tried to grab him as Shun passed along. One inmate grabbed his arm, but Shun got loose.
"Let me give you a warm up." An inmate called out.
"I will scar his face." Another one scream.
"Welcome home." An inmate snickered.
Shun entered the cell, this was his life, behind jail.
"Alice…"
Preview Chapter 37
"What are you looking, pretty boy." He heard a cell inmate called out, followed by a few laughs. Shun decided to stay away from trouble just like Diego suggested, but that inmate was pushing his button. A bell rung and the doors were open. Diego walked out first leaving Shun behind.
"Who do you think you are?" The cell mate from earlier pushed Shun against the metal poles. He had tan skin, tall, and buff. His body full of tattoos and a scar on his chest.
"Fuck." He cursed as he felt the pain from the poles. He reached for his back and rubbed it.
"I am the boss." He yelled and grabbed Shun from the neck. Shun kicked the man in the stomach and was able to get loose.
"Don't you dare touch me, I don't give a dam who the boss is." Shun said, his life was going to be harder than ever.
