"What's wrong", Samantha asked in a tender tone before pushing a spoon full of porridge to his lips, only to watch his eye fall to the object. Masamune figured he'd entertain her at least. He took a bite and easily swallowed it before answering. "You're wearing my enemy's head band around your hand", he said dryly before taking another spoonful of food.

"He's my friend. I'm not taking it off. I'd tell him the same if it was the other way around", she rebutted swiftly before dipping the wooden utensil into the porridge once more. "Hmph…", he groused as he continued to eat absent mindedly. "What? I told you once already… I don't get the luxury of having enemies... If I'm to do my job properly." Her words echoed in his ears from one of their earlier talks as he remembered. Maybe he was making a bigger fuss over nothing, he wondered.

"So you two are really just friends", the One Eyed Dragon asked. A spoon full of porridge was shoved into his mouth roughly as a response. A smile graced his lips. Samantha left the spoon in for him to take it out. Her flaring green eyes settled on the man, making him stir with excitement. "If you're implying something, no there isn't anything going on between us. Remember it was your face I may have broken my knuckles on. He pulled them back into place for me before we took care of your shoulder." That thought was slight disturbing to him, forcing him to suck in air through his teeth.

With a strong right arm, Masamune lifted the table and set it opposite side of Samantha. With a swift, precise movement the young woman was pulled over his lap and was nose to nose with the famous man. Short Stack squirmed, trying to distance herself from him. This was the teasing she was expecting. Of course he'd wait until he picked an argument just so he could get an upper hand on her, by being close.

"Masamune… Stop it", she hissed under her breath. Sam felt her jaw clench as raw anger traveled up her spine, reaching her cheeks. Those heated green orbs, he found so beautiful. They captured the dying light and reflected her feelings. "No", he plainly answered with a bit of chuckle under his breath.

"Please", Sam whimpered, trying to beg while realizing there was no hope in struggling. He felt a shiver under his thick palms. Slowly rising from his wounded shoulder, was a dull pain but he was more than willing to put up with it. "Only if you answer my questions", he demanded in a low tone. The woman felt helpless. Even with only one good arm, the man managed to pull her in his lap and turn her sitting across his lap like a child while she was trying to resist him. There were some moments she just hated him.

"Fine", she sharply snapped keeping her voice low. After all, she didn't want anyone coming in and seeing the two like this. Masamune smiled as he buried his nose in the top of her head. "Good", was he said as he inhaled the aroma of plums from her hair. The Dragon felt every muscle in his back relax. Firm hands didn't travel. He didn't dare after her explanation on how she hurt her hand. Date didn't want to think how she had to defend herself against him. Nor did he even feel the sting on his cheek any longer or any bruising setting in. The man figured he'd have to teach her how to throw a punch later.

"Alright, we'll start with you telling me how you knew how to take care of my shoulder. Not a surgeon in all of Japan, other than you have that kind of knowledge. Yet you claim you are still studying for this and haven't finished school yet." His chest rumbled as he spoke. She could feel the vibration through the fabric of her kimono. Samantha leaned into him and closed her eyes. The young woman knew he was going to ask that question sooner or later. A heavy sigh left her lips.

"Short Stack", he uttered in his normal gruff tone. "Hmm", she asked as she opened her eyes with a frown upon her expression. "Answer me", he ordered. Sam nodded lightly as her body tensed slightly. His good arm, caged her in between a warm hand his body, while he propped his bad arm across her legs.

"You're not going to believe me but it's the truth. If you go to the third large tree from the left of the rock hill just north of your home, you'll find the entry to my house." His brows creased as he tried to imagine what she was trying to say. "You live next to a tree", he asked absently. "No… I live in the tree… but it's not really a tree." After she finished her last sentence, all he could imagine was this woman in his arms was part of some ninja core. That would be the last thing he needed but before he spoke his mind, Date let her finish.

"When this all first began, I found an object in the trash. I thought it looked rather interesting. I mean it looked like a clear ball with a bunch of gears and wires in it. It even had a tiny sun charger in it from what looked to be from a calculator. So I took it home and cleaned it up a little before I put it on my desk." Masamune figured, at this point he had no clue what she was talking about. None of it made any sense but he'd hold her, despite his confusion.

"One night it made an awful grinding sound. It began to give of a light blue glow so I put it in my closet. I just wanted to get some sleep. That morning I found half my clothes missing and tree bark making up my back wall. I put my hand against it and nearly fell through." Masamune blinked a moment. He wasn't the type to believe in magic but after all that he had seen, it was undisputed.

"So you toyed around with someone else's magical trash and ended up with your ass here?" His question had Sam nearly face palming but it was an exceptionally easier answer than trying to explain advanced science. "Something like that", she muttered. "The only reason I believe you is because of the other things you've shown me and it explains a lot about your books." As he spoke, his warm breath seeped through her hair, warming the area behind her left ear. She quietly thanked the heavens that her kimono was thick enough to hide the goose pimples forming.

"My books", Sam asked surprised. "You read them", she continued to question. "I did… Some of it at least. The publishing dates are what had me puzzled for a while." His answer made a lot of sense. Sam sat there in a bit of amazement before shifting to look up at him. "I understand you're hesitant to tell me but now I have to ask. Exactly where are you from?" The man opened his eye to gaze down at her to see her expression.

"Ōshū… Just the more distant future part of it. Actually the out skirts but I still consider it part of the city." She answered with a wide, surprising appearance. The puzzle pieces began to fall together in Sam's mind. She realized why they met. She was not to faraway from his castle. Masamune blinked a bit at the startling news. If this woman was from the future than she was not only his greatest asset but also his greatest weakness. Every battle won or lost, she could tell him the outcome and how to avoid it if it was dire. He also was no idiot. Short Stack wanted to save lives and if anyone put enough pressure on her, she'd give out that kind of information; giving his enemies a much stronger advantage. This was a serious problem, he thought. His fingers twitched and tightened around her back.

"Who else knows about this?" His voice cracked with worry. Samantha blinked a moment. She didn't understand what the cause for his voice to raise. "Uh…, Hanna and Youji. Grams, of course and now you." Concern filled her visions as she answered his question. He nodded, cupping her chin in his rough palm.

"Don't share this with anyone. Even if a whole city is at stake. I don't care. If some fool believed you..." He shook his head. Dark locks fell forward and outlined his features. Samantha absent mindedly tucked a few strands away behind his ear. "Not only would they gain power over all of Japan, I'd hate to see what would come of you." Masamune's dark orb seemed to become black in the moment the last of the light died. His breathing was becoming heavy and uneven.

"I already promised myself that", Sam answered. Her whispered voice only touching his ears. "I don't want to upset the timeline." Short Stack noticed something heavy pressing against her bosom. It was Date pulling her closer. The woman could have sworn she could feel the heavy beat of his heart against her chest, or was that her heart? She couldn't tell any longer. The air was thick between them and her head was beginning to swim.

"Good… I don't want to send you away…" His breath touched her lips as she realized he was leaning down and in, over her. "Samantha…", was all the man could choke out after finding no air to breath. He could feel her shivering under his weight. The woman was speechless. Everything seemed right out of a romance novel, her thoughts raced. If he were to kiss her, it would be her first real time. Not realizing it, her fingers gently squeezed against his chest, making his own flesh flutter. A deep, short moan left the man as he closed in.

Without any more words spoke, Masamune slanted his mouth over hers and pressed forward. Her supple lips were cool to the touch and soft. His chest felt tight as if it was going to explode. The man's dark vision closed as he began to drink in her essence slowly. Date wanted to take his time in tasting her before making his way deeper into her cavern where he could taste her.

Samantha's body grew stiff. Her emerald eyes shot wide open only moments before relaxing a little. This was her first time. The famous One Eyed Dragon was her first kiss. That's something to think about later. Right now, his rough lips captured hers and she had no clue what to really do. A ping of fear touched her heart but his overwhelming presence quickly erased it. The woman let her orbs close before leaning in and begin mimicking his movements. Out of curiosity she allowed her lips to part just a little but it was enough for the Dragon to take action and consume the void between them. Her sweetness began to drive him to the edge of no return.

A growl emitted from his chest as a primal means to let her know she had been claimed. The deepened kiss filled both with the sensation of intimacy. Masamune didn't think he could stop with just a taste. He wanted her now. To fill her completely and to keep her to himself. His loins burned with desire. She felt like a virgin to him. He could easily guess so, the way she squirmed in his lap which made the moment more enticing.

The young woman's fingers traced lines in his chest the way she lightly touched him, mapping the man out instinctively. She found every scar and pump to her delight. The pads felt smooth and cool to the touch. Sam had the feeling of excitement nearly consume her. If she didn't know any better, she would guess she would explode. The female's head became dizzy and light. She couldn't tell if she was breathing or if she was holding her breath. The way his hands gripped the fabric and tugged, Short Stack didn't notice her obi was being loosened and falling off. The woman completely missed the fabric opening for his smoldering hands to slip under.

All Sam could feel was a sea of pleasure and heat. She was so hot, the young woman had a hard time breathing. Sweat rolled off her brow but that wasn't the end of it. Date had tugged enough, subconsciously, her kimono fell wide open, revealing her entire body to him under a mere thin cloth. Thick hands slipped under the over laying fabric and over the nagajuban. Every curve of her body was now at his mercy. Her flesh danced to his caresses forcing the woman to moan and pant between little breaths he allowed her to have.

Masamune broke the kiss roughly and snarled before shifting her on her back and himself on top. The motion was so fast, it made her head spin. It was then Samantha was able to look up and notice how frightening yet wonderful he appeared. Much like that of a majestic beast who has found it's prey. The idea had her squirming, allowing him to settle a knee between her open knees. The caressing of her inner thighs against the fabric of his hakama, had him sweating with need.

Masamune's gaze was hungry as he stared down at her. Sam could feel his left eye burn as he took a moment to soak in her beauty in the darkness. Silk like cloth was falling off her velvet flesh and dark colors highlighted the woman's pale skin in the mere flashes of light let in from the storm. His breathing became erratic at the sultry sight below him as his fingers clawed at the pillows next to her.

Date felt his heart pump harder and faster than he had ever felt it before. The man was alive! His loins stirred with much desired pleasure but that was only a small part of it. He felt as if he had won a hundred battles and about to enjoy the spoils. If anyone interrupted him at this moment, it would be there head, he thought proudly. After tonight, there would be no doubt in that woman's mind who she belonged to.
