"Kisara-chan, where are you going?!" Sakura had shouted, too busy with dealing with her younger brothers, she noticed her inu-hanyō friend wandering to the forest.

Sakura, the first born of Sango and Miroku, now an nine year old girl looked over her shoulders to see Kisara smiling at her.

"I will be right back," Kisara told her, waving at the girl with a smile on her face to then turn her back to continue walking towards the forest that belonged to her father.

Haruka sighed and shrugged her shoulders,"We can't do anything sister, everything will be alright, I sense that her Oji-san is nearby." Sakura lifted helped her youngest brother on his feet.

Little Shako, named after his great grandfather, blinked eerily at the shadow that was in the trees. "Onee-chan, who's that?" the boy asked his older sister. Sakura patted him on the head, she loved that he was always curious over the Inu family.

"That is Kisara-chan's Oji-san, Sesshoumaru." Haruka answered for her twin sister.

"Oh…" Shako said, nodding and turned around to walk to his brothers. "What should we tell Kagome-san?" Haruka asked her sister. Both girls paled and called for the inu-pup, but she didn't return.

"Maybe, I do not know, I guess we should."

"What is wrong?" the two girls turned to see seventeen year old Rin walking to them, her hands swayed by her side and a smile spread on her face.

"Fluffy-sama is here!" Keiji exclaimed and fell on his back. The five year old boy raised his arms up and let out a shrill of laughter when his older brother Tadashi plopped next to him.

Rin's mouth just a little and a blush crept on her cheeks,"I see." The girl no longer referred herself in the third person and began to speak in the first person now.

"Rin-chan, Kisara-chan went to go see him, will see be okay?" Sakura asked, turning her head to the side.

"Of course she will Sakura-chan, if anyone knows Sesshoumaru-sama….I know he'll never hurt his niece." Rin answered and began to fix the girl's hair when Sakura's ribbon fell off.

Kisara went about in the forest that belonged to her father, and it has been at least three years since her uncle visited her family.

The inu-pup wondered why her uncle would visit so unexpectedly and why he wouldn't come by more often. Haha-ue did say that some of the villagers were uncomfortable to see Sesshoumaru-oji-sama here.

Kisara stopped when she heard a rustle in the bushes. "Sesshoumaru-oji-sama?" she called out, but her voice lowered when a growl, which didn't sound anything like the Inu growls, was heard as she watched a creature leap out of the bushes.

The five year old gulped and reached over her shoulder to find that the bow she had gotten for her fifth birthday wasn't there and neither was the quiver of small arrows.

Her blue eyes widened in shock and she screamed in fear, not being prepared for such a close attack.

The daiyōkai had watched his niece as she was accompanied by the demon slayer and monk's children, he left just before he scented Rin approaching them.

He usually made it unknown for them to sense his yōki, but as soon as he noticed that Kisara had sensed him, along with the oldest of the demon slayer - he left because of that as well.

"Milord, is it alright if I ask you a question." the daiyōkai heard the imp, Jaken, speak up.

Sesshoumaru turned his head to the side only a little to motion his vassal to say what he needed to and be done with it. Jaken tensed when his lord glanced at him and he nearly tripped over himself.

"W-Well milord, I find it confusing for me to not speak with your brother's mate or their children, especially with Rin who has grown over the years. I assumed that you've came to see if she wanted to leave with us and accompany us once more. I hope you aren't troubled of me asking, milord." Jaken said and beads of sweat formed on his forehead, pausing to hear what his lord would answer.

The imp had also went on his knees, and dropped the staff of two heads to the ground, and bowed down to his lord.

The imp found that ever since they left the human girl at the age of eight, almost nine years old, to the high priestess Kaede and learn to live with humans, everything felt so gloomy and not as cheery as before. Just like the times before the human girl entered their lives and traveled with them to seek Naraku.

"Jaken." The imp panicked when his name came from the demon lord's voice and scrambled to his feet and noticed that his lord was turned to him.

"Y-Yes milord?" Jaken answered. "Wait here until my return," Sesshoumaru announced and took off before his vassal can utter a word. Jaken raised an arm to ask what was wrong and he smelt the scent of the daughter of Inuyasha.

"What is that girl doing out here. She better be thanking Sesshoumaru-sama if she gets in to any trouble and- wait Sesshoumaru-sama don't leave me behind!" Jaken ran to follow his lord.

Kisara closed her eyes shut and whimpered when a large wolf, three times than the regular size of any other wolf, growled and arched its back to attack.

This is why haha-ue always told me to always take my bow! Kisara cried in her mind and bit the bottom of her lip nervously when she could feel the wolf's breathe tingle near her. She opened one eye to see it sniffing her, and licking its mouth hungrily, and saliva dripped down the corner of its mouth.

Then it cried out just as it was going to jump to attack and Kisara's eyes widened at a green whip hit the side of the wolf, sending the wolf flying into a tree and it ran off with its tail in between its legs.

"Sesshoumaru-oji-sama," Kisara said, noticing her uncle standing there and cracking his fingers as his claws shrunk just a little. When Sesshoumaru noticed that it was a wolf that was attacking, a memory of long ago played in his head, and his golden eyes gazed over to his niece.

"Your father will not be pleased with you wondering by yourself," the daiyōkai stated and turned to walk away from her. Kisara gaped and knew he was right, and she knew that her mother would scold her. Even now, her mother must be wondering where she was.

"Forgive me Sesshoumaru-oji-sama, but I wanted to speak with you." Kisara blurted out before she can stop herself. The five year old girl sat in a 'w' shaped sitting position, and she felt her heart beat back to its normal pace after the incident.

"Hm. Speak and then return to your mother, she is calling for you." Sesshoumaru told the girl.

Kisara nodded,"First of all things that I wonder is that why don't you visit more? Are you afraid of the villagers? They will do nothing to harm you."

"Hm, such foolishness you speak of, it is I that they fear, not I."

Kisara gulped at the seriousness of his voice and nodded at his voice. "I see, well what about Rin-chan, I am sure that she would like to see you again. She speaks of you all the time, and likes it when you visit her and she was always happy when she sees your arrival."

Sesshoumaru's eyes narrowed only slightly and Kisara shifted uneasily when her uncle didn't speak no more, which was what scared her the most.

"I will accompany you to the village." Those words placed a smile on the inu-pup's face and the two walked to Kaede's village.

Jaken heaved a sigh,"Must you always leave me behind milord."
