3rd pov

Serenity lays in a hospital in a coma from an accidental gunshot from Mustang. This happened because she had to save Envy. Now that the truth has been revealed, everyone is trying so hard to take it in. Especially Edward since he's an archenemy of Envy's. It's hard for them to believe that a best friend of the military had sex with the homunculus who killed Hughes. Could they find in their heart to forgive her for what she did? They should because this didn't happen the first time, but it wasn't a homunculus. History is actually repeating itself and its what made Serenity. Like her secret relationship, it was as intense when her parents got together because they weren't supposed to be together. But their daughter dated a monster, so it is hard to deal with right now. Two days have passed and Serenity is still in a coma. During one of those two days, a visitor came in from the window. Envy gets inside quietly and approaches the unconscious Serenity. He has no words to say about her current state right now, but he expresses his feeling to her by touch even though she can't feel it. He touches her arm, her hand, her fingers, and her covered legs. Then, he makes his way to touching her face. Envy stares at her blank face as her touches her. Even though they had their fight and thinks that she won't forgive for what he did, like Serenity, he has his feelings of love towards her. Envy moves his fingers to her lips and rubs them for a moment. He remembers those lips he first kissed when the day of Serenity's eighteenth birthday began midnight. So of course without her knowing, Envy leans to Serenity's face and places his lips onto hers. I never forgot about the smooth feeling and taste of her lips. He couldn't help, but to kiss her lips some more. Even though he doesn't want to, Envy pulls away from her face and then he pets her head for a little bit. Envy thought of remaining by her side until daybreak comes around. He really hopes that she'll come out of it...because he has a lot to tell her. We know that there's a lot going in the outside of her mind, but there's more happening inside the woman's head.

1st pov (Serenity)

I'm in the middle of some place white. Nothing else was around me expect for the color white itself. I'm wondering where in the hell am I until I hear a soft, smooth voice call my name out.

Balqis: My, my. You have grown up so much over the years haven't you?

Me: What going on? Who's talking to me?

Balqis: I'm your original caretaker, love.

Me: My original caretaker?

Then, there were shadowy figures of a petite woman and a tall, semi-brawny man. As they came closer, their appearances became clearer. The people in front of me are the same people on the picture that Armstrong gave to me. They are my parents. I place my hands over my mouth and I lay my eyes in them as they smile at me.

Balqis: Are you happy to see us?

Me: I mean...it's just that...you're right in front of me. Why are you..?

Raphael: Just to talk to you. We just want you to know how very proud of you we are.

Me: Really? Even if I...

Balqis: Yes. But we're not talking about the one you shared your love with. We're talking about how you follow your heart.

Raphael: We saw how you lived your life and how you grew up becoming not what you wanted to be. You didn't have any friends or family at all besides the military. We saw you take a really big risk in order to get away from everything.

Balqis: And your homunculus was a awfully big risk. Oh, and one other thing...

Me: What is it?

Balqis: It really isn't your time to be with us yet. When the time comes, you'll be with us, but for now, live life. Live life and follow your heart, my dear.

Raphael & Balqis: We love you!

Then, the next thing I knew, they disappeared and everything went black. I slowly open my eyes and I feel very heavy on my stomach. I place my right had over my stomach only to feel hair. It felt like I was touching a big strand if hair at a time. Then, I realized that I had company early in the morning.

Me: Envy, you're...you're on my legs...

Envy sits up and blanks his sleepy eye at me. His eyes widened and then he rubs them only to hope that he's not dreaming.

Me: So, how'd you get in here?

Envy: *touches my hair* From the window...

Me: Why are you touching my hair?

Envy: Hoping that you're really awake.

Me:* takes hospital pillow, hit Envy* What do you think? You think everything is real now?

Envy: Yep. You're awake.

Me: So, why did you come?

Envy pauses for a moment and then he scratches his head. I give him a look which tells him to give me a reason. He says...

Envy: Just to see you.

Me: Oh really?

Envy: Yes really.

There was a silence that came between us. A very long silence. I really don't know what to say to Envy, but the three words I want to yell out. I'm not sure how I want to say it and I don't even know that he loves me anymore.

Envy: I remember when you were in the hospital like this.

Me: It wasn't that bad that time though. I just needed a stitch. That's it.

Envy: And now, you're in here after a gunshot and just got out if a coma.

Me: I was in a coma?

Envy: Yep.

Me: Well then.

Envy: You know you broke your promise right?

Me: Yeah. I know. Envy, just so you know, even though I can forgive you on a couple of things, I can't forgive you for killing Hughes and trying to kill my friends. But, I was thinking...

Envy: What? What were you thinking about?

Me: We don't have to move on if I can't forgive you on one thing right?

Envy: I don't know what you mean. Tell me a bit clearer.

Me: I mean I really upset when you told me the truth. Even though it hurts, it's not stopping me. I felt like I can still continue.

Envy: Continue with what?

Me: I don't know about you, but I continue to...love you.

Envy: So, Serenity, you still...

Me: There will be many things that I might not forgive you on, but I'm still in love with you, Envy. Even if I try to get rid of it, it's going to come back and bite me.

Envy looks at me with wide eyes. He comes closer to me and puts his hand on my cheek. As he looks into my eyes, he says...

Me: I...I feel the same way...

Me: *smiles* I love you, Envy.

Envy: Yeah whatever.

We both chuckle and after that, we made our lips reunite with each other. As we kiss, I feel my heart thumping really hard with love. I wonder if they felt like this before. Envy and I break away and smile at each other.

Me: I guess homunculi have feelings too huh?

Envy: *attacks with "gentle" kisses* I guess they do. Anyway, we're alone and it's too quiet in here. Maybe, if we make a little noise...

Me: Ooo. That sounds very nice, hot stuff, but we'll end up waking the other patients and morning is just around the corner.

I point to the window which shows the sky becoming blue and orange. Daybreak came along. Envy stands up with his arms folded and says...

Envy: Damn it!

Me: Maybe next time, love.

Envy: *climbs out the window* Fine then. I'll see you later.

Me: Bye.

I pull the covers up and I get ready for a real sleep. I'm going to sleep with a smile on my face because the one I love has grabbed hold of my heart once again.
