Hey y'all! Ready for your update? A warning for you before we go into this chapter:

*****A little graphic here, so please be advised.*****

I started to make this one a lot worse than I did, but I thought that might turn some people off from the story. (My mind can be a rather dark place sometimes) So I kept it a little cleaner for some of you and I'm not entirely sure if I'm pleased with it or not, but I wanted to hurry up and update. I know that was a horrible way to leave y'all. Sorry about that! (or not, hehehe) I'm evil. Anyways...enjoy! (or not)

Daryl listened to the slight wiggle of the knob with his bow trained on the door. He had a bad feeling about this. Something in his gut was telling him that the people on the other side of that door were not the type to play nice and make friends. He cursed himself for letting his guard down so much. They still did watch every night, but he hadn't been watching things as closely during the day. Maybe if he had then he might have seen some sign of these people before now, unless this was their first time through the area. Daryl's hunter's intuition was telling him that it wasn't their first time around here. If it was then they wouldn't be trying so hard to keep everything quiet.

His finger applied gentle pressure on the trigger of his bow as he heard the lock pop open. There were a few minutes of silence that seemed to stretch forever in the darkness and he thought he heard a giggle. Frowning and feeling sweat drip down his brow; he considered making a run for it and grabbing the others. He didn't know how many people were on the other side of that door and suddenly this situation seemed too dangerous. They could leave and they could find another place to call home. He was battling between these two decisions when the door slowly began to open. Daryl watched the door cautiously, but no one appeared. He frowned and cast his eyes around the room suspiciously.

"Put down your weapon boy," A deep voice rang out.

Daryl craned his neck to see the source, but couldn't see a thing, "Fuck you," Daryl replied.

There were giggles again and then the sound of someone hushing someone else. "My girl here has a gun trained on you through that window you're standing beside so I think it would be in your best interest to play nice. We'll make this quick," The voice spoke again.

Daryl's eyes shifted to the window. The blinds were still covering the window so he didn't know if the man was being honest or just calling his bluff. Either way, he couldn't take a chance. He still had several knives placed on his body so he slowly lowered the crossbow and set it just in front of him but still within reach.

"There. I did as ya asked now show ya face," Daryl called.

There were muffled noises and then the man Daryl assumed he had been talking to stepped inside of the room. The first thing Daryl noticed was that he was tall and big. He seemed to fill the room with his presence and as Daryl studied him a girl walked in next to him with a gun. She was smaller, maybe about the size of Beth, but she was rough looking. She had the look of someone who needed to be in one of those assisted facilities where they monitored your medicine and health because she didn't look mentally well. She giggled again and the sound chilled Daryl to the bone.

"Close the door Georgia," The man said to her.

"Yes sir," She replied and she did as he asked.

"What do ya want?" Daryl snapped.

The man looked back over in his direction, "We're just looking for some food," He said carefully. "Figured you might have some to spare. Georgia, light that there lantern for me sweetheart," The man said to her.

Daryl kept his eye on the crazy girl as she crossed the room and lit the lantern. She kept glancing at him and giggling a little. It was driving Daryl nuts and he was itching to get the situation taken care of.

"I got food ya can have. There's a pile in tha kitchen. Take what ya need an' be on yer way," Daryl said firmly.

The man tilted his head and studied Daryl a moment, "But you ain't the only one here though are you?" He asked.

"He's not Frank. I saw someone else at the window earlier. Definitely weren't this man," Georgia said suddenly.

Daryl scowled, "Then ya saw wrong. I'm tha only one here."

"Georgia why don't you go and have a look see through the rest of the house?" The man spoke slowly, his eyes trained on Daryl.

"I told ya there ain't no one else here!" Daryl yelled. He hoped that Beth and Carl were listening and would hide or better yet climb out of the window. He listened to the sounds of Georgia checking into the rooms and when he heard her giggle loudly he groaned silently.

"I got one Frank!" She called back excitedly.

Daryl listened as she made her way back down the hallway and he sucked in a breath at the site of Beth being pushed into the room. He looked for Carl and Judith, but he didn't see either and he didn't know whether to be relieved or worried. Beth looked at him worriedly, but he didn't have any reassurances to offer her at the moment. He needed to try and get the upper hand in this situation. Then what happened next made his blood run cold.

Georgia leaned forward and licked Beth on the arm, giggling excitedly. Beth cringed, her eyes darting to his. "This one's gonna be real good Frank. She's still young too. Gonna go down real nice," Georgia said.

Frank nodded his approval, "You did real good Georgia. You got a real sharp eye."

Georgia giggled and ran her finger down Beth's arm, who immediately snatched it away from the girl. Surprisingly the girl reached up and wrapped her fingers in Beth's hair, jerking her head back roughly. Beth cried out in surprise and Daryl growled at the girl.

Frank kept his eye on Daryl, "I think you're upsetting the Mister over here Georgia," He tipped his head at Beth. "She your wife?" He asked.

Daryl locked eyes with Beth and then nodded after a few minutes, "Yeah."

Georgia giggled, "Gonna enjoy skinning this one Frank," She said.

Beth's eyes bulged in terror and Daryl narrowed his eyes at the man, "What tha fuck is she talkin' about?" Daryl snapped.

Frank held up a hand for Daryl to calm down but Daryl ignored him, "You said you had some food we could share country boy. I think this one right here outta be enough to feed me and my girl for a while," Frank ran his hand down the front of Beth and Daryl clenched his fists so tightly he could feel himself draw blood.

Beth struggled against them, but Georgia only increased her hold on Beth's hair. Daryl could see the tears slip down Beth's face and his mind tried to formulate a plan.

"Ya fuckin' eat people?" Daryl spat as he tried to keep them talking while he worked on a plan.

"Not just anybody. We got a certain type of people we like to eat. Some eat better than others. Like you, you're older and that means your skin will be too tough," Georgia explained. "Though if you want, you can come along. I can show you a real good time," She flicked her tongue at him and laughed shrilly.

Daryl cringed inwardly. The girl didn't look a day over sixteen. It was hard to tell with the crazy look she had and the way she kept giggling. "Fuck you an' yer pa," Daryl said to her.

Her eyes flashed angrily, "Maybe I should give him a preview of what's going to happen to his wifey here, huh Frank?" Georgia asked.

Beth whimpered and Frank glanced at her before looking back at Daryl, "Whatever you think Georgia. Don't mess her up too much though. She's gotta keep until we get back to camp."

"Maybe we could kill him and stay here instead," Georgia pointed to Daryl with her gun and giggled.

"Don't ya fuckin' touch 'er! We got real food here. Ain't no need ta fuckin' eat people!" Daryl yelled angrily.

Georgia handed her gun to Frank and pulled a knife out from under her shirt. Daryl watched as she trailed it over Beth's belly and then pressed the tip into her skin. Beth cried out, her eyes pleading with Daryl. Daryl was screaming with rage on the inside and then a shadow in the kitchen caught his eye.

Carl.

Daryl kept his eyes trained on the two people and prayed that Carl would be able to take them out with his gun. The kid wasn't a bad shot and he hoped like hell that he wouldn't miss the one time they really needed him to be precise. Beth's eyes rolled into the back of her head and Daryl cursed as she went limp in Georgia's arms. Georgia struggled to hold up Beth's dead weight and Daryl knew this was their chance. His eyes flicked down to his crossbow as Frank glanced over at Georgia.

"Carl, now!" Daryl shouted.

He made a grab for his crossbow at the same time as a shot rang out. Daryl looked up in time to see blood pouring from Georgia's forehead seconds before he shot his arrow into the brain of Frank. The man stumbled, but amazingly didn't fall.

"Come on, ya son of a bitch!" Daryl cursed. He fired off two more arrows and finally the man fell forward onto the floor, shaking the floor slightly.

Carl ran into the room, his eyes wide with terror. The gun he held in his hand was shaking slightly and Daryl took it from him in case he accidentally fired another shot. "Asskicker?" Daryl asked.

"Tucked her into the closet behind some clothes. I'll go get her," Carl replied and then ran down the hallway.

Daryl checked Frank and Georgia again to make sure they were indeed dead and then he grabbed Beth under the arms, pulling her over to the couch. He lifted her shirt and was relieved to see that the knife had only punctured her slightly and she wasn't even bleeding beyond a trickle. With shaking hands he checked her wrist and was relieved to find a strong pulse. He heard Carl come back into the room and he glanced at him to see that he was carrying Judith in his arms.

Daryl leaned over Beth and lightly slapped her cheeks to bring her to awareness. She moaned and then her eyes fluttered open, locking with his. She began to panic and he grabbed her arms, "Everything's okay. They're dead. Carl saved us," Daryl said with an appreciative glance in Carl's direction. Carl's cheeks blushed a bright red and nodded at Daryl.

Beth sat up and threw herself into Daryl's arms so hard he was almost knocked over backwards, "I was so terrified," She whispered.

Daryl sat there in shock for a moment and then slowly wrapped his arms around her, running his hand over her head soothingly. "It's okay. So was I," He responded gruffly. He looked at Carl, "Did you hide in tha closet too?"

Carl nodded, "Yeah. Beth would have hid too, but she didn't want them to look very hard. She said if they saw her then they wouldn't think to look for anyone else because they already knew there was one more of us here. She was right," Carl explained.

Daryl looked down at the blonde that was sobbing quietly into his arms, "Yes she was," He murmured.

Yes I channeled what I have heard about in the comics. No I have not read them so these people aren't directly from the comics. I have heard there was a group in the comics that were cannibals so I branched out from there. I didn't want to get too gory so I kept it light. If you wanted gore and darker shit, I'm sorry! I try to make it pleasing for everyone, but sometimes it's just not possible. Anyway, I hope it wasn't awful and I would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks y'all!
