A/N – Sorry for forgetting to update this one. Please forgive me…
Harriet wasn't sure what to do with what she had just seen, part of her wondered if something was going on with Commander Brumby and Commander Krennick. She just stood there trying to decide what do. She started to walk away when Commander Brumby opened his door.
"Anything I can help ya with Lt?"
"No Sir I was just passing by."
Brumby looked at Harriet as she walked off. In the meantime Krennick walked out."Do you think she's on to us?"
"Well if she is luv, we need a cover story."
Allison glared at him – "Just what do you have in mind."
"Leave it to me Luv and don't worry."
Harriet walked into Bud's office and closed the door behind her. Bud looked up from his pile of work. He started to try and say something. But Harriet put her fingers to her lips to show to be quite for a minute.
"Bud just listen to me, I think something is going on with Commander Brumby and Commander Krennick."
Bud picked up his pad and pen – "What makes you think that ? And why?"
"I just saw them together in his office, they were talking – I tried to listen as well as I could, I could only get a small part – but I heard something about this should have worked! I don't know what to make of it Bud."
Bud writing some more – "I know Commander Krennick has always had a thing for Commander Rabb, she made no secret about that. And from scuttlebutt I've been hearing around here, shes made it known she still wants him. But I don't know how Commander Brumby would fit into any of this."
The wheels were starting to turn in Harriet's head… "OMG BUD – they're working together! Don't you see, they both have a common goal. They want what they cant have, so if they work together they can get the person they want."
Bud writing again – "Harriet do you know how crazy this sounds?"
"Well prove me wrong!"
Bud writing again – "Now how am I going to do that?"
"I think we should call The Commander and tell him what we think."
Bud writing again – "What are we going to tell him ? That based on what you over heard – that Commander Brumby and Commander Krennick are trying to come up with a plan to ruin his and The Colonel's marriage?"
"YES! They would try to help us. We owe it them to try and help them."
Bud signed deep down he knew his wife was right – if the situation was reversed the Commander and the Colonel would do anything for them. Bud wrote another message – "Ok call the Commander!"
Harriet picked up the phone and dialed Commander Rabb's cell phone…

Ring Ring Ring…. Harm reached in his pocket and pulled out his phone. He looked at the number then back at Mac.
"I've got to take this – it's the office.." Harm stood and headed out towards the beach
"I'm going with you." Mac stood and handed little Harm over to Trish – she followed her husband.
Harm answered his phone "Commander Rabb"
{"Commander – This is Lt Sims.}
"Hello Lt, what can I do for you?"
{"Well Sir – I'm not really sure how to tell you this.}
"Lt what's wrong?"
{"Sir by any chance is The Colonel nearby?}
"Yes she's right here – do you need to speak her?"
{"Please sir."}
Harm handed Mac the phone – "Harriet wants to speak with you."
"Ummm ok ." Mac took the phone "Harriet it's Mac."
"No he can't hear us!" Mac listened as Harriet told her what she thought.
"Harriet your sure what you overheard?" Mac still listening to Harriet.. Harm was watching his wife's facial expressions change from uneasy to pure outrage.
"Thank you Harriet – I'll take it from here." Mac hung up the phone and handed it back to Harm.
"Sweetie what's going on?"
Mac looked over at her husband – her sweet loving husband, the man that promised to love her till death do they part. How could she tell him that a woman from his past was trying to ruin his life now.
Mac took Harm by the hand and walked him further out on the beach, they headed back to the rock that Harm had been sitting on earlier. Harm took a seat and Mac sat down on his lap, "I need to tell you this, it's not going to be easy."
"Sarah what's wrong? You're really starting to worry me now!"
"Harriet saw Brumby and Krennick talking in his office as she was walking past – well you know Harriet, So she stopped to listen. From what she could pick up on they are plotting to try and come between us, so they can move in – I guess that's how you would put it."
Harm just sat there is silence, he was trying to digest what he had just been told. Part of just knew Brumby would be trying to get Sarah away from him, but what he had expected was Krennick.
"Harm please say something to me! Your starting to worry me."
Harm moved Sarah off his lap and took off down the beach, he was boiling with anger, he didn't want to Sarah to see this side of him. Mac was stunned, she hadn't expected this type of reaction from him. She got up and went after him, it took her a few minutes but she caught him, she grabbed his hand. But he pulled it away from her – she was confused he had never done that before. He always welcomed her touch, he told her "her touch soothed him – made him feel at ease." Now he was pulling away from her.
"Harm please – please stop and talk to me" He turned around and looked at his wife she was in tears, he hated that she was so upset . Most of all he hated that he was causing part of it. This affected her as much as it did him. He reached out and pulled her into his arms and just held her.
"I'm sorry I walked away – I just didn't want you to see that side of me. I never should have done that."
"It's ok what matters is that we talk about this, and we don't shut each other out. We figure out together the best way to handle this."
"You're right – we need a plan." They talked for a while longer trying to come up with the best way to handle Brumby and Krennick. Then it hit them both why not give them what they want. They came up with plan but they would need The Admiral , Bud and Harriet to help them.
