Chapter 37

Later on that same day Leonardo began to think about why he kissed Julia. Was it because he was in love with her? The truth was that he was in love with her. He had been in love with her since the day he met her but he wasn't ready to admit his feelings until the right moment. Julia had no clue that Leonardo was in love with her and Leonardo had no clue that Julia was in love with him too. The two had wanted to be together since the day they met but they weren't ready to give in until the right moment. Leonardo walked up to his sister's room and saw that Makayla and Julia were hanging out with each other. He knocked on the door and said, " Hey Makayla can I come in for a second?"

Makayla says, " Yeah sure Leo." Leonardo walked in and Julia said, " Hi Leo."

Leonardo said, " Hi Julia."

Makayla says, " You two gonna kiss each other again?" Julia blushed and said, " Makayla shut it. You're embarrassing me." Makayla laughed at what Julia said. 3 weeks later Makayla went to hang out with her friend Max at his house. It was evening and the two friends were in the living room playing video games with each other. They were playing Super Smash Bros Brawl with each other on Max's Gamecube. Makayla was playing as Pikachu and Max was playing as Kirby at the Pokemon Stadium.

Makayla says, " You're going down Max!"

Max says, " In your dreams Makayla! You're the one that's going down!" They continued to play against each other until Makayla won.

Makayla exclaimed, " I win!"

Max exclaimed, " Dang it!"

Makayla says, " Rematch?"

Max says, " Yes." They reset the game and played again. But in the middle of the game Makayla paused it because she heard something outside.

Max says, " Dude why did you pause the game?"

Makayla says, " Because I heard something outside Max."

Max says, " Makayla it's probably nothing. Let's just continue playing."

Makayla says, " Ok." and they continue playing. Then Makayla pauses it again because she heard it again.

Max says, " Makayla it's nothing."

Makayla says, " No I swear to god I hear something outside."

Max says, " Makayla."

Makayla says, " Max just shut up and follow me." Makayla walked toward the back door of the house and stepped outside.

Max says, " This is ridiculous." and follows her. The two friends began to prowl around the outside of the house.

Max says, " What are we doing out here?" Makayla put her hand over his mouth and said, " Max shut up. You hear that?" The silent noise continued.

Max says, " Yeah, but what does that have to do with...?" Makayla put her hand over his mouth again and said, "Max just shut up. Don't say a word. I think the Foot Clan is about to ambush us." Max then climbed onto Makayla's back and Makayla said, "Max what are you doing?!"

Max frightenly says, " Dear god I don't want to die! I'm too young to die!"

Makayla frustratingly says, " Max get off of me!"

Max frightenly says, " Ok but I just want to say you were a great friend to me Makayla and I'll miss you!" Makayla smacked her friend upside the head and said, " Max shut up! We're not gonna die!" The Foot Clan appeared as soon as she said that and the two friends stood there with their mouths open.

Makayla screamed, " Shit! Max run!"

Max screamed, " Would this be a good time to start screaming like banshees?!"

Makayla screamed, " Yes!" Makayla and Max ran away screaming like banshees and the Foot Clan began to chase them. As they were running Makayla took out her ipod.

Max screamed, " Makayla what are you doing?!"

Makayla screamed, " Just because we're being chased doesn't mean we can't have a little fun Max!" She turned on War Machine by AC/DC and turned it up full blast.

Max screamed, " Oh yeah! This what I'm talking about!"

Makayla screamed, " Yeah!" The two friends began screaming and rocking out as they continued to run through the streets of New York City. Eventually the Foot Clan retreated but Makayla and Max continued being obnoxious.

Max shouted, " What's up New York?!" Makayla and Max started laughing. They didn't know that Casey was watching them from the rooftops. Casey jumped down in front of them and said, " What do you think you're doing?!" Makayla and Max screamed and jumped backwards.

Makayla screamed, " What the shell Casey?! You just scared the shell out of me and my friend Max!"

Casey says, " It's 2 a.m. What are you doing?!"

Makayla says, " I just told you! I'm hanging out with my friend!"

Casey says, " At 2 a.m.?!"

Makayla says, " Look we didn't know what time it was! We weren't even paying attention to the time anyway!"

Max says, " Yeah we were playing video games at my house and then we decided to get crazy." Casey took the two of them to April's apartment. April was woken out of a dead sleep.

April angrily said, " Casey you scared me!"

Casey says, " I'm sorry babe but look who I found wandering the streets at 2 a.m."

April angrily says, " Makayla?! Max?!"

Makayla and Max said, " Yeah. Hi."

April angrily says, " It's 2 a.m. What the hell are you doing?!"

Makayla says, " We were hanging out and lost track of time."

Max says, " Yeah."

April angrily says, " I'm calling your family Makayla and have them come get you two!" April picked up her shell cell and called Donatello. As usual Donatello was sitting at his computer in his lab typing away on the keyboard. He answered his cell and said, " April?"

April says, " Yeah Donny I'm sorry to bother you but could you guys come get your sister and her friend at my apartment?"

Donatello shockingly says, " Makayla is still awake at this hour?!"

April says, " Yeah her and her friend Max are at my apartment because Casey found them wandering the streets. They woke me up out of a dead sleep."

Donatello shockingly says, " Max is with her?!"

April says, " Yes. Could you guys please come get them so I can go back to sleep?"

Donatello says, " Sure April we'll be there in a few minutes."

April says, " Thanks Donny." and hangs up. Donatello woke the others up and told them what was going on. The 4 brothers and Master Splinter went to April's apartment in the middle of the night to pick up Makayla and her friend Max. When they got there Master Splinter had an angry expression on his face. He was mad that his daughter was still awake at this time of hour hanging out with one of her friends.

Master Splinter angrily says, "Makayla I want an explaination! Why are you still awake?!"

Makayla says, " I'm really sorry sensei. We were hanging out and we lost track of time."

Max says, " Yeah we were just..."

Master Splinter angrily says, " I don't want hear it Max! Let's just go back to the lair!" They all went back to the lair and Master Splinter angrily said, " I am highly disappointed in you Makayla! What made you think that this was ok?!"

Makayla says, " I don't know I guess I was having so much fun with Max that I wasn't paying attention to what time it was. I'm really sorry."

Master Splinter angrily says, " I specifically told you to come home at 10 p.m my daughter and you disobeyed me!"

Makayla says, " I know and I'm sorry."

Max says, " If I could just say something, it wasn't entirely her fault. I wasn't paying attention to the time either. So don't solely blame her because it was my fault too Master Splinter." Master Splinter let out a sigh and said, " I am really sorry for raising my voice. I don't like doing it but sometimes you leave me no choice. And I'm very sorry for interrupting you Max."

Max says, " It's ok."

Master Splinter says, " Now go to bed. Both of you." Makayla and Max went up to Makayla's room and went to bed. Klunk came in Makayla's room, sat on Max's face and fell asleep. In the morning Makayla woke up to see Klunk sleeping on her friend's face. She began to silently giggle and she took a picture with her shell cell. Max began to wake up and he said, " Aw Klunk get off my face!" Makayla laughed her head off while Max tried to sit up. Klunk sprinted off of Max's face as Max sat up. Leonardo walked in and said, " What's so funny Makayla?"

Makayla laughed and said, " You just missed it Leo it was priceless! Klunk was sitting on my friend Max's face!" Leonardo began to laugh at this.

Max sarcastically says, " Hardy har har! Very funny!"

Makayla laughs and says, " You're just being sarcastic ya dork!" and playfully smacks him upside the head.

Max laughs and says, " Hey if anyone's a dork around here it would be you Makayla Lynn Hamato!"

Makayla laughs and says, " In your dreams Max Sheldon Wolowitz!" Monday morning Makayla went to school. Later that day when she came home she was angry and she had dried paint all over her head. When Donatello came out of his lab and saw his sister he said, " Makayla what happened to you?!" Makayla slammed her book bag down on the floor and angrily said, "You want to know what happened Donny?! Randy happened!"

Donatello shockingly says, " What?!"

Makayla angrily says, " Yeah he thought it would be so funny to dump a bucket of paint on my head during third period! He humiliated me in front of the whole class!"

Donatello says, " So let me get this straight, Randy dumped a bucket of paint on your head?"

Makayla angrily says, " Yeah and because of him for the next two periods I was laughed at by my classmates!" Master Splinter walked out of his bedroom and said, " What is going on out here my daughter and why is there paint in your hair?"

Makayla angrily says, " Because Randy dumped a bucket of paint on my head during third period!"

Master Splinter says, " Are you talking about Randy Laserbeam? I thought I told that kid to leave you alone."

Makayla angrily says, " Yeah well apparently he doesn't care and wants to do whatever he wants! You know what I'm sick of Randy! I never want to see that little punk ever again!" and she runs upstairs to her room slamming the door behind her. Makayla then throws herself on her bed and starts crying. Master Splinter entered his daughter's bedroom and said, " What else has Randy been doing to you?" Makayla sat up and cried, " He's been trying to get me in trouble, he pushed me down the stairwell, he even pushed me down in the hallway one time and stepped on my head!"

Master Splinter says, " How is he trying to get you in trouble my daughter?"

Makayla cried, " He's been throwing balls of paper at the teacher when she's not looking! Then when she turns around asking who did it Randy points at me and says, " Makayla did it!"" Upon hearing this Master Splinter decided that this was the last straw. He was going to make Randy stop bullying his daughter whether he liked it or not.

Makayla cried, " What did I ever do to him to make him hate me so much?! This doesn't make any sense!"

Master Splinter says, " You have done nothing to him my daughter. This is his problem and not yours. I am going to make him stop doing this whether he likes it or not." Master Splinter went into the kitchen and called Randy's parents. The next day at school Randy approached Makayla and started yelling at her.

Randy shouted, " Thanks a lot Makayla!"

Makayla shouted, " What are you talking about Randy?!"

Randy shouted, " I'm talking about your stupid dad! He called my parents and told them everything! Because of you my parents are sending me to military school!"

Makayla shouted, " Oh boo hoo Randy! You deserved it for bullying me in the first place! So hopefully this will teach you a lesson and whip you into shape!"

Randy shouted, " This isn't over Hamato!"

Makayla shouted, " Really?! Cause it seems pretty over to me Laserbeam!"

Randy shouted, " I hope you're happy for ruining my life Makayla!" and walked away. Once Randy was out of sight Makayla began to celebrate by dancing wildly in the hallway. Morgan saw her doing that and walked her. Makayla told her best friend what happened and the girls celebrated. 4 weeks later one evening Makayla was walking home from Morgan's house when all of a sudden she was approached by a group of girls. One of the girls was Randy's cousin Stacy Laserbeam and the other girls were her friends.

Stacy maliciously says, " Going somewhere?" Stacy and her friends crowded around Makayla.

Makayla says, " I'm walking home from my best friend's house. What's going on here?"

Stacy maliciously says, " Shut it! We'll ask the questions around here!" The girls began to close in on Makayla with evil smirks spreading across their faces. Makayla was absolutely clueless as to what was going on. She began to get a little scared.

Makayla frightenly says, " Ok this is getting a little scary! I still don't know what's going on!"

Stacy maliciously says, " You just don't get it do you Makayla?"

Makayla frightenly says, " Ok how do you know my name?!"

Stacy maliciously says, " Because I'm Randy's cousin Stacy."

Makayla frightenly says, " Ok so what's that supposed to mean?!"

Stacy angrily says, " Oh you stupid bitch you just don't get it! I'm here to get my revenge on you!"

Makayla angrily says, " Why?! What did I ever do to you Stacy?!"

Stacy angrily says, " You got my cousin sent to military school for no reason!"

Makayla angrily says, " News flash for you he was bullying me! It wasn't for no reason!"

Stacy angrily says, " Cut the crap Makayla! I know my cousin wouldn't do something like that! You're just making that up!"

Makayla angrily says, " I am not!"

Stacy angrily says, " Shut up!" and pushes Makayla to the ground. Stacy and her friends ganged up on Makayla. They began to push her, shove her, kick her and punch her repeatedly. They pinned her against a wall in an alley and Stacy put her hands on Makayla's shoulders. Makayla turned her head away as Stacy made rude and nasty comments to her.

Stacy angrily said, " You're a sick, twisted little whore that nobody likes!" Makayla turned her head toward Stacy and shouted, " That's not true Stacy! I have a whole bunch of friends and a family who cares about me! I even have a boyfriend for god sake! So take your rude and nasty comments somewhere else you bitch!" and pushes Stacy away.

Stacy shouted, " You're gonna pay for that Mashayla!"

Makayla shouted, " It's Makayla!" Stacy lunged at Makayla and the two girls got into a cat fight. It was a very burtal fight. The girls were pulling on each other's hair, biting each other, punching and kicking each other, screaming at each other, put their hands on each other's throats trying to choke each other to death, etc. Makayla's brothers heard the commotion and showed up to break up the fight. Raphael grabbed his sister and Leonardo shouted, " What the shell are you doing Makayla?!"

Makayla shouted, " Giving Randy's bitchy cousin a piece of my mind!" Makayla tried to lunge at Stacy but Donatello stopped her.

Donatello shouted, " Woah Makayla what happened?!"

Makayla pointed at Stacy and shouted, " She's mad at me because I got Randy sent to military school! She thinks I lied about him bullying me!"

Stacy shouted, " Because you did!"

Makayla shouted, " Shut your trap Stacy I didn't!" Stacy walked up to Makayla and kicked her in the leg breaking her leg. Makayla fell gripping her leg and shouted, " You stupid bitch! You just fucking broke my leg! I swear to god I'm gonna kill you!"

Stacy shouted, " Don't go making threats you can't finish you little...!"

Makayla shouted, " Don't you dare say it Stacy now get out of here!" The 4 brothers helped their sister up as Stacy and her friends began to leave.

Makayla shouted, " Just you wait Stacy Laserbeam I'm gonna get you for breaking my leg! This isn't over!"

Stacy shouted, " Whatever you bitch!" before disappearing around the corner. The brothers carried their sister back to the lair.

Master Splinter says, " What happened my daughter?"

Makayla says, " I got into a fight with Randy's cousin and her friends on my way home from Morgan's house. Stacy kicked me in the leg and broke my leg."

Master Splinter says, " Who is Stacy?"

Makayla says, " She's Randy's cousin. She's mad at me for getting him sent to military school. She thinks I lied about him bullying me."

Master Splinter says, " Does she not understand that you are not lying my daughter?"

Makayla says, " Yeah she's in denial about it. She thinks that he's innocent and that he wouldn't do something like that. She accused me of making it up and then she called me a whore."

Master Splinter says, " Why would she call you that? That is not a nice word and I don't like it."

Makayla says, " I don't know and I don't like it either. I swear she's a little..."

Master Splinter says, " Do not say what I think you are going to say Makayla. That is very inappropriate and I don't want to hear it."

Makayla says, " (Cough) Bitch."

Master Splinter says, " Makayla!"

Makayla says, " What?! That's what she is anyway! Her and her friends are stupid little bitches!"

Master Splinter says, " Makayla! That's enough!"

Makayla says, " Ok I'm done."

Leonardo says, " Makayla why would you say...?"

Master Splinter says, " Leonardo! Do not say it either!"

Leonardo says, " Yes sensei." Master Splinter walked away and Raphael said, " Dat was really weak sis! Ya say it like dis! (Cough) Bitch!" This time Raphael said it better than Makayla!"

Master Splinter yelled from his bedroom, " Raphael!"

Michelangelo smirked and said, "Busted!"

Raphael says, " Shut it ya knucklehead!" and smacked Michelangelo upside the head.

Donatello says, " Must I remind you that you're the one who said the b word in the first place Raph?"

Raphael says, " Shut it genius! And anyway why ain't ya with yer girlfriend?!"

Donatello says, " She's not home Raph."

Makayla says, " Yeah she just texted me. She's at her uncle's lab doing something with him." Just then Makayla got a phone call. Makayla answered it.

Makayla says, " Hello?"

Robbie says, " Hey Makayla."

Makayla says, " Robbie? What's up?" Makayla took a sip of water.

Robbie shockingly says, " Ok you're not gonna believe this but Troy High's pom team snuck into our gym last night and trashed it!" Makayla spit out her water and shockingly said, " What?! Those little preturds! Are you sure?!"

Robbie shockingly says, " Yeah it was Rachel Rocket and her stupid little friends!"

Makayla says, " Well you know what?! Rachel Rocket is going down! We're gonna smack Rocket in the socket!"

Robbie laughed, " Makayla that was hilarious! You just said something that rhymed!"

Makayla laughed, " I know Robbie!" 1 month later, Due to overcrowding at Troy High some students were forced to transfer to other schools. Rachel was unfortunately transfered to Allendale High. Once there Rachel was still being mean and disrespectful to others so Makayla decided to confront her.

Makayla angrily said, " Why are you being so mean and rude to everyone?!"

Rachel angrily said, " That's none of your beeswax Hamato!"

Makayla angrily said, " Knock it off Rocket!"

Rachel angrily said, " Look Makayla I didn't ask to be transfered to this school! They forced me to all because of stupid overcrowding at Troy High! Did you know I had to quit the pom team there because of this?!"

Makayla angrily said, " Rachel you need to cut out the sassy attitude! This is why no one wants to talk to you! Instead of being mean to me and others around you why not try to be friends?!"

Rachel angrily said, " Why would I want to be friends with you?!"

Makayla angrily said, " Because I'm a lot cooler than you think! Who else do you think is a high school pom girl and a ninja?!"

Rachel scoffs and says, " Shut up no you're not!"

Makayla says, " Oh yeah?! Well watch this!" Makayla catapulted herself over Rachel's head landing behind her and kicked her square in the back sending her to the ground. Rachel looked up at Makayla with a shocked look on her face and said, " You just jumped over my head and kicked me?!"

Makayla says, " Yeah! That one was called Invisible Flying Dragon and a front snap kick to your back!"

Rachel shockingly says, " What the hell was all that?!"

Makayla says, " That was from an ancient Japanese battle art called Ninjitsu! I've been training since I was 3!" Rachel stood there completely speechless. Then she said, " Ok I'll admit, that was the coolest thing I've seen in my life!"

Makayla says, " So are we friends?"

Rachel says, " Yeah we're friends!" The two girls smile and shake hands. After school Makayla and Rachel went to the lair to hang out. The two girls were listening to music in Makayla's room. All of a sudden Max and Austin came running up to Makayla's room and started pounding on the door screaming her name. Makayla opened the door and said, " Max, Austin, what are you guys doing here?"

Austin panically says, " Makayla we have a serious situation here!"

Makayla frustratingly says, " You guys what is it?!"

Max panically says, " Morgan's been arrested by the Ninja Tribunal!"

Makayla panically says, " What?! What did she do?!"

Max panically says, " We don't know they didn't tell us! They just busted into her house and dragged her away!"

Makayla panically says, " Did this just now happen?!"

Austin panically says, " Yeah why do you think we came here?!"

Makayla panically says, " Well where is she now?!"

Max panically says, " Battle Nexus!"

Makayla panically says, " Then that's where we're going! Let's get my family and go!" Makayla threw on her shoes and grabbed her shell cell.

Rachel confusely says, " Makayla what's going on?!"

Makayla panically says, " My best friend has been arrested by the Ninja Tribunal and I have no idea what it's for!" Makayla, Rachel, Austin and Max ran down the stairs Makayla started screaming for her family.

Makayla screamed, " Sensei, Leo, Don, Raph, Mikey, get out here now!" Makayla's family came into the living room and Donatello says, " What is it Makayla?"

Makayla screamed, " We need to go to Battle Nexus right now!"

Master Splinter says, " Why? What is going on my daughter?"

Makayla screamed, " My best friend was arrested!"

Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Master Splinter shockingly said, " What?!"

Raphael shockingly says, " What da shell did she do sis?!"

Makayla screamed, " I don't know but we need to go now! I don't want her to get hurt!"

Donatello says, " Calm down Makayla!"

Makayla screamed, " I can't calm down Donny she's my best friend! Some of those criminals are gonna cream her especially that one dude who tried to cream Mikey and I don't want a dead best friend!" Makayla then picked up her shell cell and called Julia.

Julia says, " Hey what's up?"

Makayla says, " Julia is Blaze with you?"

Julia says, " Yeah why?"

Makayla says, " You two meet us in the alley in 10 minutes! We're going to Battle Nexus!"

Julia says, " Ok but why?"

Makayla says, " Morgan was arrested!"

Julia says, " Oh my god!"

Makayla says, " Yeah! So meet us in the alley in 10 minutes!"

Julia says, " Ok! See ya there! Bye!"

Makayla says, " Bye!" and hangs up. 10 minutes later Julia and Blaze met up with Makayla and the others in the alley. Master Splinter chanted something in Japanese and a portal opened. They all stepped through it into Battle Nexus. They ran toward the fighting arena and Makayla called out her best friend's name.

Makayla screamed, " Morgan where are you?! Are you ok?!" Makayla heard Morgan screaming for her and they all ran toward the sound of Morgan's voice.

Donatello screamed, " Morgan! Keep screaming we're coming!" They eventually found the Ninja Tribunal and two guards standing on each side of Morgan gripping her arms. Morgan's hands were restrained behind her and she stood there with a terrified expression on her face. She had no idea what was going on.

Makayla angrily says, " Ok one of you better start talking and giving me some answers as to why my best friend is here?!"

One guard says, " She threatened to cremate Karai."

Morgan angrily says, " That's because she stabbed me 20 times and kicked me in the face!"

The other guard firmly says, " Shut it Morgan!"

Morgan angrily says, " Don't tell me to shut it!"

The guard firmly says, " I said shut it!" Morgan shut her mouth only for a second and then she angrily said, "Karai is a sick twisted bitch!"

The guard shouted, " That's enough Morgan!"

Morgan shouted, " No I don't think it is! This is injustice! Karai is the one who assulted me and then she goes around saying that threatening her is a lot worse then her assulting me!"

The guard shouted, " If she stabbed you then how are you still alive?!"

Morgan shouted, " Because after she stabbed me I immediately went to the hospital and got 20 stitches in my back! And if you don't believe me then lift up my shirt and you'll see!" The guard lifted up her shirt and sure enough Morgan had 20 stitches in her back from the stab wounds she received from Karai.

The guard says, " Ok you're telling the truth."

Morgan shouted, " See?! Told ya!" The guards released her and said, " You're free to go now get out of here!" and pushed her toward the others.

Morgan screamed, " Ow! You're really pushy!"

Makayla says, " Morgan that's enough let's get out of here!" Morgan left with her best friend and the others and went back to the lair. Makayla and Morgan had a talk with each other in the living room.

Morgan cried, " Makayla all this crazy stuff that's been happening since we became best friends it's getting to the point where I can't do it anymore!"

Makayla says, " Come on Morgan don't say that."

Morgan cried, " No I'm serious! I feel like every time that we're together something crazy happens and I end up getting beat up or kidnapped or whatever!"

Makayla says, " Morgan think of it this way. Do you really want to sacrifice our friendship with each other just because of some crazy things happening in my life?" Morgan thought for a minute and then she said, " No. Without you I'd probably be bored and lonely."

Makayla says, " Exactly. You need me in your life."

Morgan says, " You're right. I don't know why I brought this up."

Makayla says, " No I'm glad you did. Talking about your feelings helps you deal with them easier."

Morgan says, " You're right Makayla."

Makayla smiles and says, " So what do you say Morgan? Best friends until the end?" and holds out her hand.

Morgan smiles and says, " Yeah. All the way Makayla." and grabs Makayla's hand. The two girls shake on it. Then Makayla says, " Hey Morgan remember the day we first met?"

Morgan says, " Yeah. We ran into each other on the corner of Main street and the song Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day was playing."

Makayla says, " I know." Makayla walked over to her ipod and plugged it into her bluetooth speaker. She turned on the song Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day.

Morgan shockingly says, " You have that song on your ipod?!"

Makayla says, " Of course cause it's the song that was played when I met my bff for the first time! And my bff is you Morgan!" The girls listened to the song and started dancing. From that moment on they knew that nothing was going to separate them and that they would be best friends until the day they die.
