"We thought it would be better to wait until Inspector Fox woke up to explain everything. Perhaps the easiest resolution to a case, we started with showing Inspector Fox and Cooper the case file that they were meant to see. Operation: 'Honeymoon' was a detailed mission for a pair of field agents.

It was a trip for two to Hawaii, to be honest. The duo would act as a newly-wed couple. I'm not going to drag on into a lengthy explanation, but with strategically planned details- like a late-night dinner, sharing the same room, dancing, tropical summer activities, etc.- Inspector Fox and Cooper would be drawn together in an intimate setting where I thought the boundary that they had between them could be lifted. Quite literally, they'd be going on a honeymoon not as a pair of agents, but as a couple.

However, that plan hit a snag that we never saw coming. Detective Winthrop admitted to stealing the case file with the necessary information to book a flight. I bet he had the opportunity to leave when the higher-ranked agents flew to Boston.

We didn't know that something was wrong until Cooper stole from an empty vault. As soon as we mentioned it, Inspector Fox had her rant, blaming Sargent Elias for being a mole. He confessed, telling her that he did play a part in the entire scheme. Bentley took this time to confess to Cooper about being our mole inside of the Cooper Gang, while I needed to confess to the same thing to Inspector Fox. I think everyone was somewhat surprised that I, myself, was the one contacting Bentley. The turtle brought up that Elias' real last name was Barkley and we confessed to that as well. Elias is my nephew. He's the one person I could've trusted to help me.

We were finally asked the question that we've been waiting for. Bentley and I took our turns answering a simple 'Why?'. Well, I've trained Inspector Fox for quite some time and Cooper has been in the line of thievery for longer. What Bentley and I have both discovered is that both of them would've taken it too seriously. In order for the plan to have initially worked, both of them had to be on the same team. We also had to distract them from the mission and let things progress naturally. I think we succeeded. The lovebirds disagreed, saying that they somehow met each other half-naked in a hotel elevator and neither of them made a move. We countered, asking Sly to explain his reason to Fox and vice-versa. The result was both of them blushing and showing respect for one another. They didn't admit to kissing or anything beyond that. They'll have to cross that bridge on their own. When we asked if they'd like to go on the honeymoon, Inspector Fox pushed the case file to Elias. He smiled warmly and accepted.

Even though the original mission was a success, both groups did come together and solve one of my old cases. I did document Grimm Hund's case when I met him. My superiors closed the case when they assumed that Hund was dead. I met up with him in custody. We laughed like old friends. He was quite gloomy at first, but he cheered up when my nephew was his provided attorney. He and the Hyena were put on trial for the assault on Diana Strauss and Inspector Carmelita Fox.

The Hyena got himself a lawyer who put forth fingerprint evidence and used the arresting officer's testimony against Grimm. My newly-wed nephew Elias put Inspector Fox on the stand and asked for her compelling testimony. I felt that the trial needed to be rightfully one-sided. Cooper was branded a criminal so his gang couldn't officially testify. It all worked out for the better because who's testimony is more compelling to hear in a murder case? The murder victim! Immediately, I saw opposite reactions in both accused parties. Apparently, Grimm and Diana had been in a blossoming relationship. No one could've predicted what she did once their eyes met. That girl ran up to him and tackle-hugged Grimm. She gave him a kiss on the cheek and gave her testimony. Elias even declared a final piece of evidence for the jury to witness. A flick of the light switch was all that was needed to make the judge's mind. It was nice of him to not force Grimm and Diana apart after that. Oh, and before any of my superiors mark me down for letting Elias do something like that; both the hyena and Hund were handcuffed to their chairs and Diana was given keys to both in advance. She must've unlocked Grimm's cuffs when she first tackled him.

With the trial solved, everyone went their own ways. Cooper insisted that he be re-instated into Interpol in order to work alongside Inspector Fox. I heard they've gotten along just fine. The rest of the Cooper Gang did what they do best and disappeared. I do know that they've split up the gang for now. I have a feeling that it won't be permanent. As for Grimm; well, he and Diana have been travelling a lot. I guess the old dog learned to let go of his past.
