Kol and Margot drove home and both crowded each other to be the first in the house before they both fell on their faces in the front hallway.

"Oh, god," Margot replied, sticking out her tongue. "That carpet tastes terrible!"

"Need help up?" Kol asked. He took her hand and pulled her to her feet before saying, "I'll race you to the bathroom!"

"I don't have much strength left," Margot groaned. "But okay. No using your vampire speed, though. That's cheating!"

"Fine," Kol replied. But in the end, they just ended up holding hands and walking to the bathroom together. Kol got the bath started and then began undressing as Margot gawked at him, then he climbed into the tub, watching her undress and do a little dance for him at the same time before she climbed into the tub beside him. "Nice," she breathed. "This feels nice."

"Are you warm enough?" Kol asked as he grabbed a wash cloth and some soap and began washing her off.

"Yeah," she replied. "I'm great. Thanks for asking." She let out a moan of pleasure as the warm water caressed her bare back, crossing her arms on the edge of the tub and resting her chin on top of them with her eyes closed. Eventually, Kol tapped her on the shoulder. "I'm gonna need you to sit up now," he told her. "So I can wash your front."

She grinned and sat up, showing him everything. "You can do whatever you want to my front," she said. "As long as you promise me that we're never going camping again."

"Well, of course I won't," Kol replied as he washed her chest first. "It was a failed experiment and not something I want to repeat."

"Good," Margot replied. "It'll only be nice hotels and room service for us from now on."

After Kol was done, he handed her the wash cloth and gave her a wink. "It's my turn now," he said. "And don't be afraid to be thorough."

"Oh, I won't," Margot replied with a wink. "Don't you worry."

"Jonathan!" Amy said in surprise when she opened the door and saw him on the other side. "What are you doing here? Are you all right? Margot told me about your mother, and I'm sorry."

"Thank you," Jonathan said as she ushered him inside. "As for why I'm here: I'm concerned about your sister. She and I were living at my house together, and then she up and left and I have no idea where she is."

"Oh, don't worry yourself about that," Amy told him. "She and Kol have decided to make it work for the long haul. They've moved back into her house."

"Have they?" Jonathan asked. "And are you all right with that?"

"Of course," Amy replied. "Why wouldn't I be?"

"I just...well, I know it's none of my business, but considering how many times Margot came back to me, I wonder if she and Kol are truly a good match."

"I understand where your concern is coming from," Amy replied. "But really, you'll make yourself sick spending all your time wondering about us Burke girls. Get yourself a hobby, a new girlfriend, something that you'll actually enjoy. It'll do you a lot of good."

Jonathan sighed. "All right," he said skeptically. "I'll try. But you remember that if you ever need anyone to watch Savannah, I'm only a phone call away."

"I know," Amy told him. "It's not something I can forget. Now, can I get you a drink?"

"No, thank you," Jonathan replied. "I think-I think you're right. I think I need to work on expanding my horizons beyond this house. I know it's gonna be difficult, but I'll try." He started to leave, but then, at the last minute, Savannah came running out and attached herself to him.

"Well, look who it is!" He exclaimed and gave her a pat on the head. "If it isn't my biggest fan!"

Savannah gave him a smile that showed all her little baby teeth and held up her arms.

Jonathan chuckled and took her in his arms. "You know, I was planning on starting a whole new life today, but since you're here, I suppose I could delay it a day or two."

"If you want to take her out," Amy told him, "that's okay."

"All right," Jonathan replied. "I think I will." He took hear and headed out just as Klaus was coming in. "Have you heard from Kol and Margot?" He asked. "How did their camping trip go?"

"Well," Amy cleared her throat. "Remember when they first said they were gonna do it, and then you told me that story of the time you took Selina camping when she was pregnant with Adrian and it all ended up a big giant mess? That's how I assume it went, knowing what I know about my sister and nature."

"But Margot has powers!" Klaus pointed out. "Surely she made it as comfortable as she could for the both of them."

"No," Amy said. "I think the deal was that she would only use her powers in case of an emergency."

"In that case," Klaus replied, "I agree that it was most likely a total disaster, cause Kol is no nature scout either."

"Yeah," Amy giggled. "They probably stayed a few hours and then drove home." But then she paused. "You're not gonna make me go camping, are you?" She asked.

"No," Klaus replied. "Not if you don't want to."

"All right then," Amy nodded. "Now, on to another topic: Did you know that Kol had a thing with my great grandmother?"

"Did he?" Klaus asked in surprise. "And just who was she? I might remember her."

"Her name was Mathilde," Amy replied. "Apparently, just before you all turned into vampires, Kol had a thing with her, then she pressed for commitment so he dumped her, and she cursed him."

"Well, I might vaguely remember him being with someone like that," Klaus replied. "But my brother has made his way through a lot of women in the last millenium, and I can't be expected to remember them all."

"No," Amy replied. "Just as long as you had nothing to do with her, then I'm happy."

"I'll be honest," Klaus replied. "Before I met you, witches weren't really my type."

"Is that so?" Amy asked. "Well, I wasn't worried about that anyway, but thanks for telling me." She paused.

"Are you sure you weren't worried?" Klaus asked.

"All right," Amy replied. "Maybe I was just a little. But enough about me. I like that Kol and Margot are spending time together. I'm not gonna say I'm a genius for pairing those two up, but I think they're just what each other needs, and that they'll be in it for the long haul. Don't you think?"

"I don't know," Klaus replied. "It'll take something pretty big to get both of them, but especially my brother, to commit. And who knows if something that big will ever happen?"

They didn't see Kol and Margot again for a couple of months (even though she and Amy talked), until one day when Amy opened the door to a knock and a pale, sick-looking, puffy-eyed Margot collapsed in the entryway.

"Oh, my god!" Amy cried, helping her sister up. "What's the matter? Are you all right? You look awful!"

"Well, if I look awful, than I'm obviously not all right, am I?" Margot asked. Then, she gagged and ran for the bathroom, coming back later.

"Let me ask again," Amy replied. "Are you okay? Cause you really don't look well. Have you slept lately? Get an appointment with Doctor Putnam as soon as possible."

"I've seen doctor Putnam," Margot replied. "And that's why I haven't slept in weeks."

"What do you mean?" Amy asked. "What's the matter? Are you gonna die or something?"

"No," Margot replied. "But it's something else. Something much worse. I haven't told Kol yet, cause I know he won't like it."

"Wait a minute," Amy said as she stared at her sister's face. "I know that expression, that look of ill health. Sweetie, are you pregnant?"

Margot nodded, her face cracked, and she started to cry. Amy put her arms around her sister, whispering reassurances into her hair.

"I fucked up so bad!" Margot cried. "I mean, what the hell was I thinking? I should have known that all that unprotected sex with Kol would lead to this, but...I guess I was just having too much fun to really want to do anything about it. And now, he's gonna dump me, because if he couldn't fully commit to me before, having a baby will just make it worse."

"Now, you don't know that!" Amy told her. "Have you even told Kol that you're pregnant?"

"No," Margot sniffed. "He just thinks I'm sick. And that's all he's ever gonna think, because I'm gonna..." her voice shook. "I'm gonna abort the baby. It'll be better for everyone."

"I don't think it's fair for you to just decide that on your own," Amy replied. "You should at least tell Kol that he's gonna be a father before that."

"Who are you to tell me that?" Margot asked. "You almost aborted Savannah, you hypocrite!"

"But I saw Klaus beforehand and I told him what was going on," Amy replied. "I was scared like you wouldn't believe to do so because I thought he would feel the same way you think Kol does. But he deserves to know."

"I don't care what you say," Margot told her sister resolutely. "I'm getting rid of this baby, and if you tell Kol anything about it, I'm never speaking to you again!"

And with that, she strode off, slamming the door behind her, and Amy ran to the phone, hoping and praying she could get a hold of Kol so he could go talk some sense into her sister, and allay what seemed to be her definite fear of losing him if he found out about her pregnancy.
