Chapter 36- The Search for Angel

Sorry I haven't updated in a while guys, I'm just not sure where this story is going anymore so I just thought I'd let it sit and just think about it for a little bit. And I don't think the quality of my story is really how I want it to be but I'm too lazy to rewrite 36 chapters.

Anyways, R&R?

Max

"Max!" Nudge tackles me as soon as I step foot in the house. I was still a little mad about Fang not telling me that he was joining basketball. I don't know why it bothered me so much. Maybe it was because he's giving those stupid girls another reason to drool over him! I swallowed a growl that was forming in my throat.

"I need your advice, Max," Nudge told me, plopping me down on the couch. I tried to reach for the TV remote but she swatted my hands back to my sides, "So there's this boy I really like and his name is Darren. He's so cute but he doesn't notice me. What should I do Max? Should I just flirt with him or just tell him that I like him? Please Max? You have to help me. I mean, you and Fang are so happy. What should I doo?"

I pressed a hand to her mouth to stop her flow of words. In all honesty, I don't have any advice to tell her. Fang and I just… happened. Mutual attraction. And he kind of made the first move…

"You should tell him," I suggest, wincing internally. If this didn't work I was responsible for a month of buying mountains of tissue paper for Nudge's breakdown.

She immediately brightened, "You think so?"

"Yeah," I nodded.

"Great! I'm going to call him right now!" Nudge bounded up the stairs.

At least I was left alone. But now I also have about half an hour before Iggy, Fang and Ella come home. Ella was joining the art club. She'll be good at that. I glanced at the clock. Hey… Angel should be home by now. It isn't like her not to call or tell me if she was going somewhere… She's probably at a friend's house. She's my little mind-reader. She should be able to handle herself, right? But my mother hen side nagged at my lazy side. I was exhausted from school but there's a distressing feeling at the back of my mind as I snuggled into the couch. Ten more minutes… the bus is probably late.

Half an hour later, Fang, Iggy and Ella walked in the door and I was pacing.

"You guys haven't seen Angel, have you?" I ask and all their smiles drained to worry.

"Why, where is she?" Ella asked cautiously.

"She hasn't come home," I explain. My baby sister…

Short one, I know. I just wanted to get this out there to remind you guys I'm alive lol.
