Hello friends! How have you been? It's been a very long time since I last updated anything on , and I feel as though I need to give an explanation as to why.
First off, it was purely the pull of the tide. What I mean by that is everyone had seem to move towards Ao3 well truly around 2014. However, I wanted to finish Always before I moved on. Secondly, I had improved a fair amount on my writing skills when I finished this fic and I wanted to start on something new with these new skills and ideas. For whatever reason at the time I chose to do that on a new format with a new name.
I had never forgotten about Wren, Alistair and Hope and their future. I was constantly planning through a sequel to Always but realised that the original needed a lot of work if I did want to do this. Writing has been pretty hard after finishing up in 2015 but I always had inspiration and motivation for this story. So much so that I've set in motion a few things:
I've changed my username to match my Tumblr here and my Ao3 account here
I will be editing and refining Always to a point that the story will most likely change to the first draft that was posted here
When I finish I'll post it on my Ao3 account instead as it's the one I use the most. I will inform you on here when I do post the first chapter
If I do manage to continue on with a sequel I will follow in the same fashion
Other than the last two things, I won't be posting on here again.
I am so thankful for your support of this fic and the oneshots I've posted post Always. You actually bothered to get through the embarrassing start my 14 year old self was so proud of, and that takes some guts. I don't think I'd be able to do that. Still you stayed with me even when I was going through the worst writing blocks of my life! I loved writing for you and sharing my warden's story. Because of all of you, I became a better writer and a happier person. So once again, thank you readers and will always cherish this xxx
