Darth Nox marched into the chamber where she knew the one taunting her was being held. With her was her bodyguard Khem Val, who had promised to protect her for the rest of his days, and her apprentices Ashara Zavros and Xalek, all working hard to bring the Foundry under Imperial control. She was tired of all the games this being was playing, and was eager to kill the one that was causing all of this.

The moment they reached the middle of the room, the voice once again taunted the group.

"Assessment: You have been quite amusing during our hunt," the voice taunted, its annoying habit of adding descriptors to its sentences still prevalent. It then activated a hologram, revealing itself to be a droid.

"I am HK-47, the master's most faithful ally," the hologram said. "Once a mere assassin droid, it is my burden and joy to command the Foundry's mechanical armies."

"This thing is awfully enamored with itself," Khem Val said, drawing his blade. "I will enjoy shutting it up."

"Jedi don't believe in assassination," Ashara said. "And they certainly don't build assassin droids."

"Commentary: I am often pleasantly surprised by my master's moral compass," HK-47 replied. It brought up schematics of the droids the factory had been building. "My extermination droids are my master's crowning achievement. They are equipped with bio-scanners capable of detecting Sith genetic material."

The schematic changed to pictures of a male and female Pureblood Sith. "Any meatbags with Sith ancestry will be slaughtered! This includes 97.8% of the imperial population."

Darth Nox glared at the droid, not caring about what it or its master had planned. "The foundry now belongs to the Empire," She said, drawing her lightsaber off her belt. "Your droids won't get far."

"Commentary: As much as I'll enjoy butchering our enemies planet by planet, I have missed the personal touch," HK-47 replied. "Your bones will commemorate my return to assassination." The hologram then shut down, and the tube in the center of the room opened, revealing the droid in all its rust colored glory. The droid drew its rifle, and fired at Darth Nox. Darth Nox managed to activate her lightsaber and deflect the shot. "Prejudice set to maximum!" The droid shouted, activating its stealth generator.

Darth Nox closed her eyes and reached out to the Force to find the droid. She was having a hard time, due to the droid's extensive hardware and programming, but it wasn't long before she found its emissions and flung lightning at it. She managed to short out its stealth generator, and decided to taunt the machine. "I can see why the history texts consider you a Jedi and Sith hunter. That trick would have fooled anyone not prepared for it."

"Commentary: Then I hope my master will appreciate my efforts here," HK-47 replied, using one of the gadgets integrated into his design to throw back his opponents.

But Darth Nox was unimpressed. "Khem! Xalek! Keep his attention! Ashara, flank him! I'll take him from behind!"

Her followers leapt into action, and Darth Nox used her own talent to cloak herself with the Force to slip from view. As her allies engaged the assassin droid completely, Darth Nox moved around the battlefield, disabling anything that would give the droid an advantage. She knew of the droid's techniques; overwhelming force from other combatants, gas traps, shock traps, fire traps, blinding traps…the droid knew the best ways to take down anyone who used the Force in battle, and with each trap Darth Nox took down, her confidence that she'd be able to take down the droid grew.

When she was finally finished, she snuck behind the droid, and though it was able to detect her as she got close, it wasn't able to stop her from shoving her lightsaber in what would be the spine of an organic being. This shorted out the legs of the droid, and the droid dropped to the ground.

"Xalek? Would you like to do the honors?" Darth Nox said, slicing the arms off the droid to ensure it had no other avenue to attack.

"Of course, my lord," Xalek said, unleashing lightning upon the droid, disabling it completely.

"Now, it is Revan's turn," Darth Nox said, deactivating her lightsaber.

"Let us hope he provides more of a challenge," Khem Val said, sheathing his blade.

The rest of the trek through the Foundry was just as annoying as the trek to HK-47; between the extermination droids, the beasts who lived on the planetoid and the Jedi who guarded the central control chamber, Darth Nox was really getting angry at the master of the facility.

"That HK droid you destroyed," the master of the facility said. "He waited loyally for 300 years. I can rebuild him, but it won't be the same."

"Darth Revan, I presume," Darth Nox said. "I will enjoy tearing out your heart."

"Can't you see the Emperor is death: for you, for me, and for everyone in the galaxy!" Revan said, raising to his feet.

"The Emperor is the key to my ascension," Darth Nox said. "I will not let anyone destroy him."

"You don't know him like I do," Revan said, pacing back and forth. "You can't destroy him, you can't control him, and you can barely influence him!"

"You know less than you think, Jedi," Darth Nox said. "Only I have the power to bind him, and I will not let you or anyone else get in the way of my plans!"

"So arrogant," Revan said. "As a young Jedi, I went to war. I accepted violence and death, and the Emperor called me from across the galaxy. He made me a Sith Lord, and named me Darth Revan. I killed for him, I turned against the Republic…" He paused dramatically, before continuing. "I found redemption, but when I was returned to the light, my mind shattered. It took years for me to track and confront the Emperor again, and he murdered my companions and locked me away."

"And I will enjoy tearing his location from your pitiful mind!" Darth Nox said, drawing her lightsaber from her belt and activating it.

Revan just shook his head, and raised his mask to his face. He pulled his lightsaber from his belt, and spun it into a familiar defensive stance. "I've saved the Republic twice before; from the Mandalorians, and from the armies of the dark side. You won't stop me."

Darth Nox took that moment to fling lightning at Revan, but as expected, the Jedi deflected the blast using the Force. "Khem! Ashara!" Darth Nox shouted, the two understanding their roles, and ran toward the Jedi. Ashara got there first, thanks to her ability to use the Force to leap forward, and began to duel the Jedi as Khem closed the distance.

"Xalek, reinforce them!" Darth Nox shouted, as she began channeling the Dark Side.

"Yes, master," Xalek said, moving around the battlefield to get into position, as lightning began crackling around his master.

Darth Nox drew on the extra power she gained from the five ghosts she had bound during her preparations to face Darth Thanaton as well as her own, and her eyes began to glow purple from the increased power she was channeling. She watched as the Jedi dominated her three compatriots, his centuries of life and connection to the Emperor giving him power beyond the wildest dreams of any Jedi.

But Darth Nox was not a Jedi; she was Sith. And between her pull with the dead and the texts she had read as the head of the Sphere of Ancient Knowledge, she had more than enough power to put this Jedi down for good. When she had gathered enough power, she threw a wave of energy at the Jedi.

Khem, who recognized what his master was doing, immediately shouted "Scatter!" in just enough time for the team to back away before the wave hit Revan. Revan was stunned by the impact, giving Darth Nox the time she needed to get within range to hit him with lightning. She continued to move forward, continuing the onslaught, until Revan managed to gather enough of his strength to blast the group back.

"In the end, as the darkness takes me, I am nothing," Revan said, breathing heavily. "Now I know how you felt, my friend." And in that moment, he unleashed his remaining strength, and disappeared in a flash of light.

"Damn!" Darth Nox said. "Find him! I want that Jedi alive!"

"I can't sense his presence, my lord," Ashara said. "I don't know whether he is dead or not, but he's not here!"

Darth Nox punched the command console, denting it through the force of her rage. "Dammit! So close!"

"The foundry is still the Empire's," Khem Val assured his master. "And the Sith-turned-Jedi was not a vital part of our plans."

Darth Nox smirked. "You are correct, my magnificent monster." She turned to her team. "For now, we should contact Moff Phennir and inform him of our actions." Her face soured slightly with her next words. "And when we get back to him, I will ensure Darth Malgus pays for trying to hide Revan's existence from me!"
