This is it! I got three more reviews, all of which made me smile. Before reading, I want to thank you for taking time out of your life to read my 36 freakin chapters! It's really long. Shocker! Anyway, I'd be no where without you all. Thank you so much for the thought and creativity! Enjoy Scars, Scars, Scars
She had no secrets. I noticed out of the corner of my eye Squid clench his fists. Shit. "Deans, you claim to been framed, hmm?" "Stop it." Sabrina demanded. "Oh, but I'm just beginning. You say Cecelia framed you and got you drunk. Is that right?" She bit her lip red. "Yes. She did." He laughed in an evil way that pierced us all. "But darling you'd be very wrong."
I rolled my eyes. Yes, I'd believe the other's stories but I'd known Sabrina my whole life. There was nothing he could say that I wouldn't already know. "In fact, according to this,
Cecelia had no part in your crime."
An awful thought filled my mind. Sabrina wouldn't lie to me ever. I fought Cece for Christ's sake. "I-" She began, "Stop, I'll tell them the real story. You put your friends up worrying for your sake. You deserve to be here, Deans." Mom paused and flipped a page in her file. Questions swan through my head. I was trying to figure out what was true or not.
"The night you went out for drinks, you left the children in the car, offense #1. Then you entered a bar while you were underage, offense #2. You met with Melissa Ogalsby and Cecelia Wilderson. You drank alcohol willingly. That crashes another offense and frees Cecelia of suspicion."
I stared at Sabrina with a hollow expression. My gaze lingered to Cece. Than why did Cece admit to her guiltiness? "You told, as you were drunk, how you were going to hurt the children. We found no apparent reason for this though. You knew you were going to get caught and forced Cecelia to take all blame. And...she did."
He shut the file and I was utterly shocked. "I fought with Cece...to defend your guilty ass..." I muttered loud enough so they could hear. "I'm sorry...I was d-" I slammed out of my chair scaring everyone. "I believed you! You were my best friend, you bitch! You were suppose to be innocent but no! You couldn't even trust me to tell me!" I yelled at her. "Perry, I'm so sorry! I so sorry!" She cried.
"SHUTUP!" Mom yelled. We stared at him as rage boiled inside me. "Sit your ass down, Perry. You think you're the only one who didn't do wrong." He smiled in an evil manner and pushed me back in the chair. "But I saved the best for last, oh yes I did." Mom sat back down and pulled out a large file with papers spilling out. "We sure have a lot of records on you, girl. I could tell every one of your dirty secrets to everyone. But I'm only going to tell the big ones."
My rage froze and my stomach dropped. He pulled out a picture of a dark haired boy with a cheeky smile. Tyler. "Tyler Ross, your brother, was the innocent one, never exposed to violence like you were, huh? Your mother and father, surprisingly sane. But you were the oddball." He laid the paper down and took out another, thicker form. "Perriella Ross, sent to Tennessee State Mental Hospital 3 times. Everyone thought you were crazy in that town of yours. Even sent by your boyfriend."
I dug my nails in the chair and cringed. Boyfriend stung me like poison. Mom would bring him up. "Gabriel, hmm? Forced you to live with him because his parents kicked him out. He rented a house with the money his parents gave him and began dating you." He laughed and read on. I bit my lip hard and wiped away blood. "You agreed to live with him because he wouldn't get a part time job. And he threatened you. To keep both of you on your feet you begged for a job at the library at 16 years old!"
Where else to go? Everywhere else was very public. Sure, I didn't make much money but it was enough. "Gabe was an alcoholic and smoker. You were actually sent to the hospital many times because of him." I squeezed my eyes shut and forced the memories away. NO. "Scars, Scars, Scars." Mom threw down multiple pictures of my bloody scars and older ones with writing. I dared not look at them but at Sabrina with tears in her eyes.
"One night he attempted a crime on you. Rape. You managed to escape but not before falling unconscious. Sabrina Deans found you and brought you to your real home." I whimpered and tears rolled down my cheeks. It was dead silent. "But at 2:09 A.M. you left and set Gabriel's house on fire. This terrible crime sent you to jail and killed him."
My cheeks burned and my tears fell. The only sound was my soft crying. It was true. Every speck of untold shit was true. We were all meant to be here, probably more than the boys. "You are the only camper in Green Lake to commit murder." My fingers turned to white numbness. I released. I was finished. Finished with all the hurt. All I was getting was pain and bad memories.
Too sketchy? Nah..I had to refer back to the begining to get it right! Haha. Ps. The man who reported her (Cece's friend) Louis Katrina's dad. Plot twist! Review what you think! Thx.
