Kol watched her light a candle with a match, and just because he couldn't stand the silence, he had to say something. "No witchy spell to light a candle?" He asked.
Bonnie smiled and turned to face him. "I need to save the little energy I do have to fight Esther," She said.
"Speaking of my loving mother, how did this happen?" Kol asked.
"I honestly don't know," Bonnie shrugged. "She did something so I can't remember what happened, but she must have been draining my energy for a while."
"How long do you thing she was in your body?" Kol asked looking down, not wanting to know the true answer to this.
Bonnie's heart ached, because she knew he wanted to hear that Esther was the one that said all those words. That Esther was the one that shoved him away, and that Esther was the one that rejected him, but she wasn't. It had been Bonnie the entire time. "She took over my body the day Caroline called you to bring you back to Mystic Falls," Bonnie said, turning away so she didn't have to see his disappointment.
"So how is this going to work?" Davina asked.
"The way Esther's been contacting me was through my dreams. So I'm going to fall asleep and let her take over. When she does, she'll go for Caroline and Caroline will stab her with the Traveler's knife. Since she's not a traveler that won't kill her, but it will force her out of me long enough for me to slip back in. I'll use both yours and Kol's energy to fight her off, hopefully for good," Bonnie explained.
"And if she comes back?" Davina asked.
Oh how Bonnie hoped that didn't happen, she didn't think she would be able to handle it. "We'll worry about that if that happens," Bonnie said. "Our main priority is to help Caroline. Once we help Caroline, then we'll go from there."
"I still don't get how you plan on unlocking my inner witch or whatever," Kol muttered.
"It's a part of you Kol, even if you're a vampire, just can't feel it, but I can," Bonnie said, walking over to him. She placed her hand over his heart and closed her eyes. Bonnie recognized the sound she heard when she touched a vampire, but she looked further, beyond all the dark, grey, coldness and found a slight spark that held his power. It was small, but it was there.
She opened her eyes and moved away. "It's there, trust me," She said. She felt a wave of dizziness hit her, and she clutched at her chest in pain.
"Bonnie?" Kol asked, watching her cry out in pain.
"It's Esther," Bonnie gasped, looking frantically at Kol. She fought the urge to panic, and instead gathered herself so she could handle what was next. "You two need to get out of here."
"Bonnie," Kol began, taking a step forward.
"No! Leave, now!" Bonnie yelled.
Kol debated for a second, before he grabbed Davina and rushed out of the witch's house.
Bonnie watched him go, and dropped to the ground, allowing the dizziness to overtake her and slip out of consciousness.

Before Bonnie could get her bearings, a shark kick to the ribs made her cry out in pain. She curled into a ball, trying to protect herself from the series of kicks that came next, but it was no use, one way or another they hit her and left a mark. They did what they were meant to, leaving her weakened and shaking.
She felt someone grab her hair and she was forced to look up into the hate filled eyes of Esther. "You, you are going to pay," She promised, before hitting her again and again, making sure her point was getting across.

Bonnie managed to crawl three feet before a cough racked her body and she stopped, coughing up blood. She noticed a pair of shoes standing at the edge of her vision, and she forced herself to look up at who they belonged to. "Finn," She whispered.
"Miss. Bennett," He smiled, crouching down to her level. "You took quite a beating," He commented.
"Your mother has issues," Bonnie said.
"We all have issues," Finn said.
"I need your blood," Bonnie said, ending the banter between them to get to the point.
"I'm sorry Bonnie, I cannot do that," Finn said, shaking his head.
"Please Finn, I need to end her once and for all, I need your help," Bonnie begged, tears filling her eyes. "I know I'm asking a lot of you, but dammit Finn! I need your help, I can't do this without you, and it's not just about saving Caroline anymore, or your siblings. I'm not ready to die, and that's exactly what will happen if she perimently takes over my body. So I'm begging you, help me," Bonnie broke down in years, and buried her face in his chest.
"I can't help you Bonnie," Finn said in her hair, stroking her back.
"But I can," a new voice said.
Bonnie pulled away and looked over Finn's shoulders and in a dazed voice asked," Grams?"
"Hi baby girl," She smiled, walking over to Bonnie.
"What are you doing here?" Bonnie asked.
"I'm here to help my baby girl out," She smiled.
"Why now? Why not sooner?" Bonnie asked, allowing some of her frustration to peek through. Where were her ancestors when Esther was picking apart Bonnie's brain? Where were they when Esther was beating her?
"Honey, we were always there, we were always helping you. We couldn't make ourselves known to the other witches siding with Esther," Grams explained.
"How were you helping me? By letting her beat me?" Bonnie challenged.
"The night you linked Kol and Caroline, that was us. A part of what Esther told you was right. Caroline and Klaus, they were born for each other, their fate is intertwined and one way or another, they would end up together. Esther thought that be killing Caroline, that would prevent them from being together, but not even Esther can stop fate."
"So you knew what was going to happen to Caroline?"
"Not exactly. We knew Esther was going to try and kill her, so we did what we thought was best and we had you link her to an Original. We didn't know about the rest of it until it was too late."
"So now what?" Bonnie asked, wiping her tears.
"Now we get you back in your body," Grams smiled, holding her hand out for Bonnie. Bonnie took it and moved out of Finn's arms.
Slowly witches started to appear and Bonnie knew they were all a part of the Bennett line.
"Esther might have the power of 100 dead witches, but she is no match for thousands of Bennett's," Grams said, squeezing Bonnie's hand.
"Before you begin the spell Miss. Bennett," Finn said, handing her a folded piece of paper.
"What is this?" Bonnie frowned.
"When my mother forced herself into your dreams, she made sure you wouldn't remember her visits unless you saw her face. That is why you can't remember me compelling you. I compelled you to say a few words to my brother, but not to forget it was I who forced you. When you open that, you should remember," Finn explained.
"Thank you Finn, for everything," Bonnie smiled, putting the paper in her pocket.
"Just tell my brother I am sorry," Finn smiled, then disappearing, leaving Bonnie with the other witches.
"Let's make Ether pay," Bonnie finally said, and joined hands with the other witches.

Esther opened the dorm room, satisfies to find it was empty, all except for Caroline who was sleeping. If she wasn't in such a rush, she would've stopped to think about how odd that was and notice it was a trap, but she was too focused on ending what she started.
She stalked over to Caroline and placed a hand on the girl's forehead. She closed her eyes and started the spell when suddenly a sharp pain started in her thigh and she looked down to find a blade sticking out. Not just any blade, a traveler's blade.
She gasped in pain and looked at Caroline who was getting out of bed.
"Sorry Bonnie," Caroline muttered, catching her when she collapsed.
Kol enetered the room with Davina, Klaus, and Stefan behind him. He took Bonnie out of her arms and Caroline went into Stefan's. He held her close, waiting for Bonnie to come back, while Klaus gritted his teeth together, keeping an eyes on the man holding the women he loved.

Esther woke up to find witches standing over her. "What are you doing?" She growled, struggling to stand up.
She was knocked back down by a wave of energy and she looked up to find Bonnie standing over her. "You can't do this to me," Esther said.
"Your right, I can't. I have a friend to go help and I have to apologize to the man I love, but that doesn't mean they can't. I hope you have fun rotting in hell Esther," Bonnie said, and stepped back, getting repleaced by angry witches who showed Esther just how frustrated they were.

Bonnie woke up in her bed again, this time she wasn't tied up. She sat up and immediately got up.
"Bonnie?" Davina asked.
"Let's do the spell for Caroline, now," Bonnie said.
"What about Esther?" Stefan asked, holding Caroline.
"She's taken care of, we don't have to worry about her," Bonnie said, shaking her head.
"What are you talking about?" Kol asked.
"I don't need the energy exchange with you guys, Esther is taken care of," Bonnie said, moving towards Caroline.
Klaus flashed in from of her, blocking her path. "Care to explain what happened to Esther?" Klaus growled, and Bonnie knew he wouldn't move until she explained, he was protecting Caroline.
Bonnie smiled and what she did next shocked everyone, especially Klaus. She hugged him. He stood there in shock, and luckily she pulled away quickly, not wanting anything to get to awkward.
"I lobve how protective you are of her, it's reassuring to know you someone loves her as much as I do, maybe more," Bonnie smiled, stepping back. "The entire Bennett witch line, along with your brother Finn is taking care of her."
"Finn?" Kol frowned.
"He said to tell you h is sorry," Bonnie added. "Now can I help my best friend or do I need to hug you again?"
Klaus willingly moved and Bonnie smiled at Caroline. "Ready for this?" she asked.
Caroline looked at Klaus before smiling at Bonnie and saying," Definitely."

"This is going to hurt," Davina warned, placing the knife over Caroline's chest.
"It already hurts," Caroline muttered, closing her eyes and squeezing Stefan's hand. "Just do it."
Davina made a long lsice mark and Caroline hissed out in pain. "This is going to be so gross," Davina frowned, wrinkling her nose.
"Come on Davina," Bonnie sighed, getting impatient. "Before she heals."
Davina sighed before shoving her hand in Caroline's chest. Caroline cried out in pain, and Stefan had to hold her down, making sure she wouldn't go nowhere.
"Hurry up, this kind of hurts," Kol snapped.
Davina shot him a dirty look before wrapping her fingers around something and gave a sudden yank.
Caroline now screamed in pain, and even Kol cried out, but Bonnie was to focused on the object in Davina's hand. "That was in her the entire time?" Bonnie asked, glaring at Davina.
"Yeah, must have hurt," Davina frowned.
Bonnie grabbed it from her and gave it to Klaus, who was barely paying attention, his attention was on Caroline.
Caroline was breathing heavy, her eyes closed tight, and she was now curled into Stefan's lap.
"Care? You okay?" Bonnie asked.
"Yeah, I'm okay," Caroline said, letting out a shaky breath, and lifting her head from Stefan's lap. "I'm great, I can remember Bon, I remember!"
Bonnie gave a watery laugh before going to her best friend and holding her close, happy that is was all over.
