Okay, so I changed my iPhone's wallpaper to be the selfie that Josh and Jen took quite a ong time ago, and was inspired this silly little thing here. "Dad, you really need new wallpaper for your phone," Emma said, sliding her finger over the screen.
"I got this phone yesterday, Em. There was no time choosing one," he answered quietly. He got the new phone as a present from Snow after his broke down, and between the night shift and the morning one he had absolutely no time. But now they were home finally, so maybe…
"OK," Emma said, "I set Mum, Henry and me on speed dial. You only need to put photos of our faces to show as out icons. And maybe you should go take a photo of Neal to set as your wallpaper".
"Why Neal?" he asked, a small smirk on his face.
"Because every parent has a photo of their baby as their wallpaper?" She said, implying it was obvious. "Even I have Henry's".
"Well then, I want my wallpaper to have both my babies," he shrugged. "And I won't settle for anything less than that and a selfie with her as her icon".
"I'm hardly a baby," she answered, face red with embarrassment.
"You're my baby," he told her, setting up the camera and wrapping a hand behind her back. To his relief, her hand found its way to his shoulder and she gave the camera a genuine smile. He snapped the picture, then turned and kissed the side of her head. "I have the most beautiful babies in the whole wide world".
She ducked her head and looked away, not able to deal with the emotions. "You're impossible," she whispered after a while, but turned back to face him and wrap her hands around his neck in a loving hug.
